"Don't you think it's about time we go downstairs?" Anna looked up at Elsa, who had her head resting on the younger girl's shoulder. The two girls were laying down on the couch, watching Jurassic Park 3. Elsa had one arm lazily wrapped around Anna's waist, and her other arm was under Anna's neck. Elsa looked down and stared into Anna's deep blue eyes for a minute before giving a gentle smile.

"Nah. I think we're okay up here." Anna smiled back, pleased with Elsa's answer. Anna then snuggled closer to Elsa, and the older girl's arm held her waist even tighter.

Anna couldn't believe that this was happening. She couldn't believe that she was laying on the couch, spooning with Elsa. It was just… amazing. She had thought it was impossible. After their accidental kiss on the beach, Anna was sure that Elsa hadn't wanted to even look at her. She had already settled with the fact that Elsa wouldn't want to be her best friend, or even think about being more than friends. Thankfully, she was wrong. Oh, she was so wonderfully wrong.

"You're not watching the movie." Anna giggled.

"How did you know?" She felt a puff of air quickly leave Elsa's chest.

"Because you're not spouting all kinds of ridiculous "fun facts" about what's going on." Anna didn't have an answer to that. She just scooted closer to Elsa, trying to eliminate any space that was left between them.

Elsa held on tighter to the younger girl. She really loved having Anna in her arms. Sure, this was probably just a summer fling, but it was nice. Elsa hadn't had something like it in a long time. Not since him. But that was okay. She didn't want to think about him right now. She had better things to think about. Like the gorgeous girl cuddling with you? Yeah. Exactly like that.

"You're not watching the movie, either." Elsa looked down again. Anna had a devious little grin on her face Elsa just smiled and looked back at the screen.

"I never started watching it." Anna gasped and slapped Elsa's arm lightly. Elsa laughed and just gave Anna a small kiss on the cheek. Anna immediately froze and hid her face in the pillow. Elsa just smiled even brighter. She's so adorable. I could get used to this. Elsa opened her mouth to say something, but a loud crash made the two girls jump.

"Shit! They're home!" Anna quickly tried to stand up, falling off of the couch. Elsa just sat up slowly, not quite sure what was going on. She watched as Anna struggled to stand up. She kept trying to move too quickly, and always ended up tripping over herself time and time again. Elsa couldn't help but give a small smile as she reached her arm out to steady the younger girl.

"Anna, you can't get up if you don't slow down. Come on. I'll hoist you up." Anna supressed a sheepish smile as she took Elsa's hand.

"Sorry. I kind of freaked out." Elsa laughed, and Anna just stared, completely entranced by the melodious sound.

"Yeah, I could've figured that part out on my own." Once Anna was on her feet, the two girls just stared at each other. Neither one could even say a word. They just stared, taking in all of the sights of the other. They don't know how long they stood there, or if anyone had even walked by. They just knew each other in that moment.

"Anna! We bought more Mac n Cheese!" Anna's head snapped towards the door. Elsa brought her hand up to cover her smile. Of course she looks away for Mac n Cheese. It didn't surprise her that the younger girl had looked for the snack. If it was pancakes, I would've looked, too.

"Come on, Els! Mac n Cheese!" Anna grabbed Elsa's hand and started rushing towards the kitchen. It took all that Elsa had to not fall forward.

The girls ran down the stairs, and Elsa realised just how much Anna really loved Mac n Cheese. She hadn't even known that someone could go down stairs that quickly, but Anna had proved her wrong. She was skipping two, sometimes three steps at a time. How is it that this girl can't even get off the couch like a normal human, yet she can go down stairs faster than any living thing? The thought got Elsa thinking, but she didn't have an answer.

The girls made it downstairs in one piece, much to Elsa's surprise. Anna kept pulling Elsa by the hand until they made it into the kitchen, where Elsa saw Anna's parents. They were looking at her hand, and she had no idea why. It's not like there was anything special about her hand. Except that it's linked with their daughter's hand. Shit.

"I'm assuming you two have kept yourselves preoccupied while we were gone." Ingrid's brow arched. Elsa tried to nonchalantly remove her hand from Anna's grip, but she just held on even tighter. Elsa could feel herself start to sweat ever so slightly. She was starting to get extremely nervous, not quite sure how she was supposed to react.

"Yeah. We've kept busy. You'd be amazed at what all can happen in the span of three Jurassic Park movies." Anna just glared back at her mom while she answered. Elsa thought she was going to faint. Oh god, this was how Anna was going to get rid of her. She was going to throw her to Ingrid and leave her for dead. She might as well just die now. Maybe then she won't have to suffer any more.

"You two be nice. Can't you see the poor girl is going to faint?" Mr. Smith motioned towards Elsa, and the other two girls turned their heads. Anna almost laughed, but then saw how… sick Elsa looked. Anna instantly felt guilty, but she kind of didn't care. She loved joking about these things with her mom. It was just a way for them to have fun.

"Hey, Els. It's okay. Trust me, they don't care." Anna threw her hand lazily to include her parents. Elsa looked at the both of them. They had reassuring smiles on their faces, and Ingrid almost looked guilty. Almost.

"Really, dear. Anna's very talkative about, well, everything. Especially if it involves her love life." Ingrid said.

"Or lack thereof." Anna's father added. Anna tried to move forward to slap the man on the arm, but Elsa held her back. It wouldn't do anyone any good for Anna to beat up her father. Anna huffed and stomped her foot. Oh god. She's adorable. She's such a little kid.

"Don't be rude, Anna. Come on, time to make your Mac n Cheese." Anna instantly cheered up at her mother's words. Elsa was left in the dust as Anna ran over to the stove and got busy. Elsa rubbed her arm, trying to think of what she should do. She could try to help, but she wasn't really the best with stoves. Or she could go sit at the table with Anna's dad. None of these options are appealing. Maybe you should just go back upstairs. No, that would be rude. She decided that she would sit at the table with Mr. Smith, instead.

Elsa tried her hardest not to be rude, but also to not look at Mr. Smith. She was already feeling weird just by being there. Not that she didn't like Anna's parents. She was sure that they were really nice people. It was just weird being in the same room with your new girlfriend and her parents. Can you call her your girlfriend yet? I don't think you can. How about we just wait it out and see what Anna says first. That actually sounded like a pretty great idea.

"So, Elsa. Where are you from? I don't think Anna ever told me." Mr. Smith looked at the young girl. He felt like he had seen that hair colour before, but he wasn't sure where. It was very familiar, though. Not many people have platinum blonde hair. Her blue eyes were absolutely radiant, as well. He had to know her from somewhere…

"I'm from Aellysae, sir." Elsa looked down at the table. Please don't ask my last name. Please please please ple-

"Are you in any way related to Gerda Bjorgman?" Mr. Smith watched the younger girl. He noticed her eyes widen and her cheeks flush.

"Umm. Yes sir. She's mmm actually my umm mother." Elsa glanced up in time to see Mr. Smith frown. His brows furrowed, forming a scowl on his face. Elsa might have made a mistake in telling the man this information.

"So. You're Bjorgman's kid. I knew there had to be an explanation for the hair." Mr. Smith tried to regain his composure. He refused to let this child see his underlying hatred. She had done nothing wrong to him. It wasn't her fault for this feud. But she's his child. The child that should have belonged to Gerda and I. Not that… that… that failure of a man.

Elsa watched as Mr. Smith's face went from upset, to calm, then to furious, all in a matter of seconds. She knew she shouldn't have said anything. She should have lied. What would lying have done? He would have found out sooner or later. Yes, but now he knew that his daughter was having relations – of any sort – with a Bjorgman. Even Elsa knew the consequences of such an action. Man. This is really sounding like a Romeo and Juliet story. I hope we at least get a happier ending…

"Don't get upset with the girl, Alex. It's been decades. Don't ruin her vacation." Ingrid looked back at her husband. She knew of his hatred for the Bjorgmans. It was very childish, in her opinion. She had thought he would grow out of it. Apparently not. But she wasn't going to let him harass the poor girl who had so quickly captured her daughter's attention.

"I'm not upset with her. I'm simply asking her a few questions." Alex tried to contain his scowling. As much as he hated to admit it, his wife was right. He needed to get over it. He looked at Anna, and noticed she had a happier air about her. His heart melted a bit, realising that this girl might be a good thing for his daughter. He sighed. If Anna was happy, then he would try his hardest to get over this petty feud.

"You know, I can always ask her questions. I mean, that's what pillow talk is for, right?" Anna heard something slam on the table, and she smiled to herself. She knew that would get to Elsa. Elsa was too shy for her own good. She needed to loosen up, have a bit of fun with life. Anna was going to make sure that she did.

"There will be absolutely no pillow talk." Elsa uncurled her fist and lifted it off the table. She kept looking down, though, not sure what would happen if she looked at either of the adults in the room.

"Oh, so you're just into a one – night stand? That works with me." Anna couldn't keep herself from laughing as she heard a louder bang. She turned around and noticed Elsa had her head on the table. Anna just kept chuckling and laughing as she turned back around and paid attention to her Mac n cheese.

"Anna, be nice to the poor girl. Where are your manners?" Ingrid tried to scold her daughter, but even she had to admit that it was funny. Poor Elsa was very clearly mortified. For someone who always seemed so quiet and sophisticated, it was definitely easy to fluster her. Ingrid loved that Anna was enjoying teasing someone other than her parents.

"Manners are for the dinner table. Not for the bed." Anna doubled over when she heard a loud "Oh my god!" coming from Elsa. She knew she should take pity on the older girl, but she just couldn't help it. It was so easy! How could she pass up these opportunities?

Ingrid walked over to the table and rested her hand on Elsa's shoulders. She waited for the girl to look up before saying a quick "welcome to the family, dear." Ingrid then proceeded to leave the kitchen, but not before watching Elsa roll her head back around so she was staring at the table. Ingrid smiled to herself as she pulled her husband with her.

Elsa couldn't believe this was happening. She never even joked about sex with Kristoff, and here Anna was, bringing it up every chance she could. With her parents in the room! God, how did she get herself sucked into such a situation?

"Els, are you okay?" Anna walked over and sat a bowl of Mac n cheese in front of Elsa. She sat down opposite the older girl and waited. She really hoped she hadn't completely killed Elsa. It wouldn't do anyone any good for her to kill her new girlfriend. Girlfriend? Is that allowed? Does a few kisses equate to girlfriend status? Well, she would just wait to find out.

After who knew how long, Elsa finally looked up. Anna was looking at her with a concerned look on her face. Elsa lifted her hand and ran it through her hair while she let out a long sigh. Okay. She was okay. She gave Anna a gentle smile.

"I'm fine. Just… not used to that kind of joking." She waited until Anna seemed less concerned before reaching out and grabbing the bowl of Mac n cheese. She took her eyes off of Anna and looked down. Man. This looks really good. I'm dating a culinary genius. Okay, maybe Mac n cheese doesn't count as culinary geniusness. But it looks really really good.

Anna waited until Elsa took a bite before she took her own. She ate slowly, watching Elsa. God, I'm such a creep. She couldn't help it. Elsa just looked completely mesmerised with the food. Anna smiled to herself. She had made something that Elsa really liked. Take that mom and dad. See? Other people do love Mac n cheese.

"Anna. This is amazing. Now I understand why you eat it all the time." Elsa smiled across the table at the younger girl. She watched as Anna's cheeks turned a slight pink.

"Nah. I mean, I think it's pretty amazing. But you know. I'm weird." Anna looked back down at her own bowl. Yeah, she was ecstatic that Elsa had complimented her on her cooking. Can I call it cooking? But on the other hand, she didn't know what to do with the compliment. Her biggest crush of the summer had just complimented her on her cooking. How was one supposed to handle that information?

The girls finished eating their food in pleasant silence. It wasn't awkward, like Elsa thought it would be. It was actually really nice. Calming. There wasn't a pressure or expectation to talk. Which was weird, because Anna talked all the time. It was very unusual to go with a prolonged silence when in the younger girl's presence, but this wasn't weird. It was… normal.

Once the girls had finished, Anna took the bowls and washed them off quickly before putting them in the dishwasher. She then walked back over and took Elsa's hand, pulling her up onto her feet. She led Elsa up the stairs through the house. The pair finally arrived where Anna wanted, and they went into Anna's room.

"You can sit on the bed if you want. Or on the floor. You know, whichever one you want." Anna was suddenly really nervous. She didn't know why, not really. It could have been because she had kissed Elsa, and now they were both in her room alone. Was something expected of them? Usually going to a bedroom meant sex was involved. But that didn't count for them… Did it?

"I'll sit on the floor, if that's okay with you. Did you want to play a game?" Elsa could tell the younger girl was nervous, but Elsa didn't know why. They had been in her room before. It wasn't like any of this was new. They were just going to relax some more… Right?

"Umm, yeah! Sounds great. I've got Lego Lord of the Rings. I still haven't played it. I was going to wait until you came over again." Anna felt her cheeks blush. Why are you blushing? This isn't some big secret. This isn't scandalous. It's just a video game!

Elsa went over and got the game started. She took two controllers from the cabinet, then went back to sit on the floor. She then watched as Anna kept her head down and walked over to her bed. Elsa's head tilted to the side. She had no idea why Anna didn't sit on the floor with her. The younger girl had always seemed so eager to be by her, even before the kiss.

"Ready?" Anna looked down at Elsa. She just wanted to play the game. She needed a distraction. There was no point in talking about things right now. Anna needed time to figure out what was wrong with her.

"Sure. Here. You're player one." Elsa gave Anna the controller before turning back around to the TV. She would give the younger girl some space. She knew better than most that sometimes space was the best thing you could give someone. So, she would give Anna all the space she needed.

The two girls started playing the game. Elsa forgot about Anna's previous behaviour. She got caught up in the game. It was one of her favourites, for the Xbox at least. She didn't know how long they spent playing. They went through level after level, then when they were done, they went back and tried to get 100%. They spent the whole night playing, not really talking except to help each other get through levels. Once they had gotten 100%, Elsa finally looked at her phone.

"Fuck." It was 8 am. She had spent literally all night at Anna's. I never called Kristoff. Oh no.

"I had Hans tell your brother you were still here. No worries." Anna smiled when she saw the look on Elsa's face. The older girl always said her thoughts out loud, and it always amused Anna how surprised she was when she got an answer.

"Oh. Well. Thanks." Elsa felt her cheeks flush slightly. She didn't really know what to say now. Or what to do. Should she go home? Kristoff was probably still asleep, and she didn't want to wake him. Should she stay the night here? Or would that seem rude? Would Anna be okay with it? Gods, she just didn't know what to do.

Anna watched as Elsa struggled with her thoughts. Though she didn't show it, Anna was struggling, too. It was too early for Elsa to go home, especially since she had been up all night. But Anna wasn't sure if she was okay with staying the night. She could just sleep in bed with me. Or would that freak her out? Well, it was worth asking.

"Hey, Els. Did you just wanna sleep here for a bit? My bed is big enough for the both of us, if you want…" Anna's voice trailed off as she finished her sentence. While her voice trailed off, her eyes dropped to the floor. She was basically preparing herself for a rejection.

"That would actually be pretty great. I don't want to step over any boundaries, though. If you're not comfortable, I can just sleep on the couch." Elsa could tell something was wrong with Anna. She didn't know what, but it was big enough to cause the girl to be quiet and extremely shy. It wasn't normal for her.

"You can sleep in my bed. I don't mind. But let's get you some pyjamas first. I should have some that fit you." Anna was already feeling better. Elsa hadn't rejected her. She was going to stay the night. In my bed. Okay, that kind of scared Anna. But she wouldn't think about it. Nothing would happen. They would just sleep. Sleeping was good. Sleeping was very good.

Anna got up and walked over to her wardrobe. She looked around, trying to find something that Elsa might like. Ah. There you are. Anna grabbed the pyjamas and smiled to herself before turning around. She tossed the pyjamas into Elsa's lap and went back to her bed.

Elsa held up the clothes and almost laughed out loud. Anna had gotten her Batman boxers and a black tank top. Well. She certainly wants me in as little clothing as possible. I like that. The thought shocked Elsa. Had she really just admitted to liking wearing few clothes around Anna? No no. Stop it. A few kisses doesn't mean sex. Stop. Slow down. Breathe. Just go change into the clothes and hurry back so we can sleep. Sleep only. Nothing else.

"Umm. I'm gonna go change in the bathroom. I'll be right back." Elsa kept her eyes to the ground as she left quickly and quietly.

Anna smiled to herself. She had watched Elsa's expressions change from smug, to excited, to downright mortified. At least, Anna thought it was mortified. She couldn't be positive. Whatever it was, it wasn't a happy look. Anna had to wonder what had gone on in Elsa's head to cause such a change. Maybe she has the same thoughts that I do. Maybe we're both worried about the same thing. She didn't know. But she wasn't going to talk to Elsa about it. Not yet.

Elsa came back into the room after a few minutes. Anna had to cover her mouth so she wouldn't laugh. Elsa looked absolutely adorable. Anna couldn't help but stare at the older girl's legs. They were, to say the least, perfect. Just the right amount of muscle tone in her calves and thighs. Stop looking at her legs. Right. She could look at the rest of her figure instead. No no! Stop it! Anna looked back at her bed.

"You ready to sleep, or can I leave you standing there?" Anna looked around just in time to see Elsa rush over to the bed. The two girls got under the blankets, and then it was quiet. They stayed a decent distance apart. It was obvious that neither girl was sure what was okay and what wasn't. It was a bit awkward, but they didn't know what else to do.

Elsa gave up. She didn't want things to be weird anymore. She sat up enough so she could move closer to Anna, then she laid back down. She then covered what little distance was left, and wrapped her arm around Anna's waist to pull her closer. She heard the younger girl breathe in quickly, but then let it out slowly just a few seconds later. Elsa nestled her head into Anna's shoulder, and let out a sigh.

"Good night, Anna." Elsa kept her eyes closed. She tried to be as relaxed as possible, so Anna would relax as well. Once she felt Anna's body lose its tension, she smiled a bit.

"Good night, Els."
