The weekend has ended. Yuma is walking to school. He hasn't heard anything from Sota at the phone or D-Gazer. Yuma is concern about that fight after the spirit quest. Sota and Black Mist are fighting. Before it was joking around with Black Mist arguing but this time Sota and Black Mist are fighting for real.
Yuma then saw Sota walking but he didn't see Black Mist around. He is probably still at the necklace not talking to Sota. Yuma hopes that this fight is over. Yuma walked faster to caught up with Sota.
"Sota!" Yuma yelled to get his attention but Sota didn't turn. Yuma caught up and saw Sota's face. It is like his mind is somewhere else. Yuma then shake his shoulder. Sota gasped as he went back to reality.
"Yuma, where did you come from?" Sota ask.
"I was here the whole time." Yuma answered.
"Sota sighed. "Sorry..." Sota knows that he is spacing out. He is still upset about Black Mist knowing about his past, his childhood.
"Sota, maybe you will feel better if you and Black Mist talk about it." Yuma said. Sota's face turns to annoyance. "No, I will not talk to that good for nothing backstabber." Sota said.
"Whoa, what are you talking about?" Yuma wonder what does he mean 'backstabber'.
"He looked at my memories. I shouldn't trust him after all he is evil and cause trouble with you guys at the past." Sota said.
Yuma gasped on what Sota said. He doesn't know what to say. "We should get to class." Sota start walking really fast so he can avoid Yuma's questions.
"Sota..." Yuma is worried what is going to happen next.
Sota and Yuma are doing schoolwork but Sota isn't secretly chatting to Yuma or their alien friends. Yuma is sad about this.
"Ok, class. We have a special guest that will be with us tonight. One of the high school student in Shark's high school" The teacher said. "Come on in."
A boy came in. He is wearing a high school outfit but Yuma knows this boy. He is wearing glasses and gray hair. It is Dumon, one of the former Barian Emperors and one of Shark's friends.
"Nice to meet you, I am Dumon." Dumon said.
"Dumon here will teach us to do a double team." The teacher explains.
"We have done that. Why we need to do it?" Tetsuo said.
"This time we are doing one vs. two against Dumon." The teacher explains. "Follow me students." The teacher led them outside the school and into the duel field.
"We will start with Kotori and Cathy." Kotori and Cathy gasped, as they are first to start.
Later, Dumon is going Cathy and Kotori. They are a decent duo but still can't beat him.
Dumon has his Legendary Number 44: Sky Pegasus. Cathy is with her Twin Tail Cat Lady and Kotori with her Fairy Cheer Girl.
Kotori has 300 life points as Cathy has 1400. Dumon has 3000 life points.
Twin Tail Cat has one overlay left, as Fairy Cheer Girl has none.
It is Dumon's turn. "My turn draw" Dumon said. "I attack Kotori direly." Number 44 attack and destroyed Fairy Cheer Fairy and Kotori's life points are zero.
"I put one card face down. Turn end."
"My turn draw." Cathy said. "I use overlay and increase Twin Tail Cat Lady to increase my attack points."
"I use the Trap Card 'Power Link'. I sacrifice 600 of my life points. I take your monster's overlay and attach it on Number 44." Dumon explain.
Cathy clicks her tongue. She knows if she attacks Number 44 will win and there is no way out. "Turn end." Cathy said.
"My turn. Draw. I use the other effect of 'Power Link'. When it took not just my opponent's overlay but it's ability as well. So my attack points go up to 2600. Number 44 attack Twin Tail Cat Girl." With that Dumon wins the battle.
"Oh man, I could have won." Cathy pouted.
"Yeah..." Kotori said sadly.
"Good job, Kotori and Cathy. Keep practicing and you will beat him next time." The teacher said. "Ok, next up, Sota and Yuma."
Sota flinch. He knows that he is getting better at dueling but he is not ready. He thinks he should be all right if Yuma does most of the fighting.
Yuma is nervous about teaming up with Sota. Sota knows his abilities but he is not fully at his level.
"Let's begin." Dumon said. DUEL!" Yuma, Sota and Dumon yelled.
Yuma draws and summon Gogogo Golem and put two cards down.
Dumon draws and summon Star Seraph Saga as he special summons another Star Seraph Sword. He overlay the two monsters and summons Number 44. He put one card down. Turn end.
Sota draw a light monster 'Chibi Angel' and use it special effect to summon another monster 'Chibi' monster in his deck and summon 'Chibi Devil'. Sota use a special effect when Chibi Angel and Chibi Devil are both on the field, he can summon other monster, 'Chibi Sage'. He overlay his monsters and summons his White Maiden Sorceress. He then put one card face down and ends his turn.
Then Sota's necklace has release Black Mist and Sota's face then turn into annoyed look.
"What do you want?" Sota said with annoyance.
"I am here to help and it looks like you are doing well so far." Black Mist pointed.
"Whatever." Sota talk back and he turn back to the battle.
Yuma sighed and hope that this doesn't turn into a disaster. Yuma draw a card and summon his Gagaga Magician.
"I don't know how you are going to summon your Number." Astral explain.
"Just watch." Yuma said with confidence. "I use my face down magic card, 'Boost High'. This card let me at this turn let my cards act like XYZ monster and then I overlay my Gogogo Golem and Gagaga Magician. Come out, Number 0 Future Hope." Yuma said. "With that turn end."
Dumon think that Yuma has something on his sleeves and caution wait for his move. Dumon draw a card and on his deck, he activates Number 44's effect. "I use one overlay to destroy your monster. I choose White Maiden Sorceress. If you discard your card and prevent their destruction."
Sota bit his lip and discards his card and Number 44 attack Sota and got 3500 life points.
"Come on, Sota! You can do better than that!" Black Mist shouted.
"Shut up, Black Mist!" Sota talk back. Yuma blinked as he has a concern look on her face. 'They are fighting again. I hope this doesn't effect the battle.' Yuma thought.
"I put one card down. Turn end." Dumon said.
It is Yuma's turn, he draw and use that card on his hand. "Number 0 attack Number 44."
Dumon is confused that Number 0's attack points is zero.
"I use Future Hope's effect. I use the overlay and take control of Number 44." Yuma said. Future Hope took Number 44. "Attack Dumon." Yuma command. Number 44 attacks Dumon and got 2200 life points.
"My turn card name, 'Chibi Madness.' If my overlaps are 'Chibi' monsters I use my overlaps to attack you. Each attacks is 400 with three it is the total of 1200." The overlaps grow and start to attack Dumon directly.
"Sota! You forgot that he has face down cards!" Black Mist said.
"I use 'Shield Reflect.' If my opponent attacks me directly, I use this card to reflect the damage in cost of my 600 life points. Dumon's life points are now 1600. "Then you get 1200 of damage." Dumon said. The overlays turn back and attack Sota and he got 2300 life points.
Sota bit his lip.
"How can you be so careless!?" Black Mist yelled at Sota.
"You are distressing me! If you haven't say anything maybe I can know that!" Sota yelled back.
Sparks are flying when Sota and Black Mist argued. Yuma and Astral knows this is not good. "My turn ends." Sota said.
"My turn. " Yuma draw and use his magic card on his hand, "I use magic card, 'Bonds of Life.' My life points are now equal to my monster and add them to their attack points. Hope 0 now has 4000 attack points. I attack Number 44. Hope 0 attack Number 44 and the attack hit him directly.
"Yuma, you did it." Sota said. Yuma's face is not happy but looks like he is in guard.
"It is not over." Yuma said. The smoke cleared and Dumon's life points are 1. "I use my trap card, 'Double Edge'. It lets endure the damage and send the damage I have left and attack you.
The trap cards self-destruct and hit Yuma. His life points are now 1800. Because of his life points is decrease, Future Hope's attack points. "I put one card face down, turn end."
"My turn draw. I use one overlay to destroy your monster. I choose Future Hope. If you discard your card and prevent their destruction." Dumon said
Without a hesitation, he use a card in his hand and discard it and Yuma got 1200 life points.
"One more hit from Number 44, me and Sota will lose." Yuma think to himself.
"I put one card down, turn end." Dumon said.
"Listen, Sota." Black Mist said with annoyance. "You have to pull yourself together. I want you to-"
"Shut up!" Sota yelled. Black Mist and Sota glared at each other as sparks are flying. Sota focused back to his cards.
"I use my quick magic card, 'Pop Chibi.' I use my three Chibi monsters at my graveyard and attack you directly. Each of them as an attack point 300 so this duel is over." Sota explain.
The Chibi monsters came out of the graveyard and went to Dumon. "I am not an amateur like you, Sota." Dumon said. " I use my trap card. 'Blocked Shield'. It cancels the attack by putting whole hand in the graveyard. Dumon put his cards in the graveyard and the Chibi monsters disappeared.
"Nice job, Sota..." Black Mist said sarcastically. Sota glared at him. "You little..." Sota said frustrated. "Do you have a better idea?"
"Yes, you could have put down a trap card at your last turn that cancel the card." Black Mist said with annoyance.
"Oh yeah but I can still attack." Sota said. "I attack Dumon." White Maiden Sorceress start to attack. Black Mist saw Dumon smiling.
"I use my trap card in my graveyard, 'The Knight's Soul' it cancels the attack and takes my opponent's attack points and add to my monster. Number 44 now has 3800 attack points. "Once you end your turn, it attacks." Dumon added.
"No!" Sota said in disbelief.
"What is your move, now?" Black Mist asks.
Sota bite his lip. "My turn ends." Sota said.
"Sky Pegasus, attack White Maiden Sorceress." Dumon said. Number 44 attacks White Maiden Sorceress and she was destroyed and Sota got blew off and his life points are 0.
"Now it is you and I, Yuma." Dumon said. Yuma smiled. " I am not going down easy." Yuma said.
"But I have 3800 attack points while your monster has 1200 attack points. One more move, you are done." Dumon said.
Yuma smiled. "Future Hope, attack Sky Pegasus!" Yuma commanded. Dumon is surprised knowing that Future Hope is attacking him while it has 1200 attack points.
"I use my equip magic card, 'Rising High.' It negate my attack and rise a XYZ monster from the graveyard and use it's attack points to add to it's own. White Maiden Sorceress rise from the graveyard and its attack points went to Future Hope and it increase to 3200.
"That is not enough to defeat Number 44." Dumon pointed. Yuma smiled. "I am not done yet." Yuma said.
"I use my Quick Magic, ' Double or Nothing.' When my monster's attack is negated and it's attack points are doubled." Yuma said. Future Hope's attack points are 6400. Dumon gasped, "No way..."
"Attack Sky Pegasus." Yuma commanded. Future Hope attacked Number 44 and destroyed it and send Dumon flying and his life points are zero. The Victory Screen has Yuma and Sota's face.
Yuma shouted in cheer. The students applauded on a great battle. Dumon got up and walked to Yuma. "That is a good duel." Dumon said. Yuma smiled back. "I have fun. Let's do it again." Yuma said. Dumon smile with approval. Everyone is smiling but Sota... He is upset that he didn't hand on long like Yuma. Black Mist is disappointed that Sota didn't do so well like the practices that they do.
Yuma saw Sota and saw that he is not happy. Yuma is concerned on Sota's feelings and how he goes back to normal.
Later today, Yuma and Astral are walking with Sota and Black Mist. But they are not having a friendly talk. Yuma and Astral are watching Sota and Black Mist argue again...
"You can't even win the duel after all I taught you!" Black Mist argues.
"I was trying my best!" Sota talk back.
"You are a fourth class duelist...No scratch that, you are a fifth class duelist!" Black Mist yelled. "Why you little son of a-!" Sota yelled. Black Mist and Sota are glaring at each other full of anger.
"Hey!" a voice yelled. Yuma and Astral turn around and saw Dumon running towards them. "What is going on?" Dumon questioned. "Sota and Black Mist are fighting." Yuma explain.
"What cause them to fight?" Dumon wonder.
"Black Mist saw Sota's past and it causes this silly fight." Astral explain.
"I see..." Dumon said. They watch as the two 'friends' are fighting. Until Astral hear a voice.
'Astral!'
"Eliphas, is that you?" Astral said in his mind.
'We have find out that the next one, the Swirling Winds at the south of the galaxy ' Eliphas explain. 'You need to get there and be careful there are harsh weather there.'
"Got it." Astral said. "Yuma. Everyone, we are heading to Isle of Storms."
