A/N: NEW CHAPTER!
I know, I know...It's been FOREVER, hey! I'm getting it done now!
I'm having some family issues at the time so it might be some time before I can update again but, I'll do what I can.
"Kurt? Can you come in here for a minute? Blaine, you come too," Burt said from the kitchen. He'd gotten a letter from Jesuit High School saying that they were very impressed with Kurt's application (That Burt filled out), and where happy to except Kurt in mid-year.
Blaine suddenly appeared in the doorway, pushing Kurt.
Oh god, Burt thought. I can't tell them! No! I have to! For Kurt...
"Yeah, Dad?" Kurt asked as Blaine sat down at the island across from Burt.
Okay, Burt thought. Just say it, and go...why haven't I said it yet? Okay, on the count of three, one, two, THREE!...come ON! "Kurt, you're moving!"
Silence.
Burt didn't know why he just shouted it out the way he did. He hated to looks of confusion and shock on Kurt and Blaine's faces. "What?" Kurt asked, barley whispering.
Burt fought with himself not just to give in and let Kurt stay. But, he didn't want him boy staying somewhere where he was in constant danger. "Kurt, you're moving to Portland, Oregon. I've sent and application to Jesuit High School and your mother's sister has agreed that you can live with her until you've finished high school," Burt finished, sighing.
Kurt's eyes brimmed with tears, "No, dad...you can't make me go! My life is here!"
Burt watched as tears slowly slid down Kurt's cheeks, "Kurt, you're not staying here. You've got to be somewhere safe. It's safe there."
"But da-"
"The arrangements have already been made," Burt said interrupting Kurt. "You're flight there leaves next week and you start school two days after you get there."
Kurt was speechless. "And Blaine?" He asked looking at his boyfriend.
Burt looked at Blaine to see his eyes where brimming with tears, "That's way I told both of you. Blaine, You understand, don't you? If you really love my boy then you know why I'm doing this?"
Blaine slowly nodded, the action making his tears fall, "Yeah, I understand. But that's not going to make it any easier."
Kurt looked from his dad to his boyfriend and back, "No. I'm not going. I don't want to live with Aunt Christy!" Kurt turned his chair around and tried to roll out of the kitchen but his chair ran into the doorway. He tried to move him self but then he ran into something else, "God DAMIT! I hate this FUCKING CHAIR!"
Burt was shocked by his son's language but understood that he was upset. Kurt tried to move himself again and just ran into more things. He stopped moving, set his arms in his lap, and leaned his head down, just letting the tears flow free.
Blaine stood up and walked over to Kurt and shifted his chair, pushing him out of the room. Burt sighed and took his baseball cap off, rubbing his bald head. He didn't want his son to be upset but he knew that it would happen.
"He can't DO THIS!" Kurt shouted.
They where in Kurt's room, after Blaine had to bring Kurt up and then his chair. Kurt was lying on his bed, Blaine next him.
"Kurt," Blaine tried to reason. "You've got to see where he's coming from. Think if it where you, your son was bullied so badly that he had to transvers schools. Then, when you thought you got him away from his tormentors, he is hurt so badly that he has to go to the hospital."
Kurt gave him a furious look, "How'd you come up with that?"
Blaine smiled sadly, tears gathering in is eyes, "Because that's basically how I feel, but in an fatherly point of view."
Kurt looked back up at the ceiling, "I didn't know you felt that way, Blaine."
Blaine nodded but didn't stopped staring at Kurt. Kurt could feel Blaine's eyes on him, wondering what was going through his head, but he refused to look back at him, knowing that he'd want to talk. They sat there for some time before anyone talked. Kurt like the silence because he liked the chance to collet his thoughts. He'd been bullied into a privet school, beat up to where he had to go to the hospital (by the same guy, might he add), and now he has to move to Oregon!
