A/N: Firstly, I just really need to say that if you're going to leave a mean comment, please just don't leave one at all. I get enough of rude comments by people at school and stuff without the added stuff on the internet. So yeah. And sorry for not updating sooner. I was gonna update Friday but then the guy I like found out that I like him and I was too upset and embarrassed and I just wanted to drown in my self-pity. Anyway, I've decided that when this story is over, I'm going to take a short break from posting fanfiction because I want to try to write a book. I've already started another fanfiction story and when I have it mostly completed, I'll start posting those chapters, but other than that I wanna focus on attempting to write a book. Anyway, I love you guys. I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Once we get home, we all climb out of the car and pile into my living room. I plop onto the far left side of the couch and Tobias sits down to my right. He grabs my right arm and runs his long fingers gently across the nail marks that Peter left. He looks into my eyes and I see all of his concern and love – and a little bit of anger – swimming in his deep blue depths.

"Tris, what happened?" He asks gently, reaching his hand up to skim his thumb over my split lip.

"I said I was going to take care of it. And I did," I mumble.

Tobias shakes his head and gently strokes his hand down the side of my face. "Please tell us what happened. The full story."

I sigh but decide that they do need to know. "I called Brooke and told her to leave us alone. She refused and I said that I was going to kick her ass. She told me that she would get Peter on me again and I told her to go ahead. I told her to meet me at the park. I thought she was alone but when I had her pinned, she screamed for her brother and he came out of nowhere. So I knocked him out and then I went back over to Brooke," I explain simply.

"So where did your split lip and clawed arm come from?" Tobias asks, just as Will walks into the living room with a wet rag. I hadn't even noticed that he left. He hands the rag to Tobias who dabs at the marks across my arm.

I look down at my cut up arm as I speak, "Well, Peter came running at me and punched me before I could block it, so that's how I got the split lip. Then, I punched him in the gut and kicked him in the chest. I was trying to remember what you said about knocking someone out. I tried to kick him in the groin but he caught my foot because I forgot to use my knee. So I did the thing you showed me and I flipped myself over onto his back –"

Tobias cuts me off. "You actually flipped yourself over his back?" He asks in disbelief.

"Yes," I say, a tad bit defensively. "Anyway, I flipped myself over onto his back and wrapped my arm around his throat. I remembered what you said about holding it for ten seconds so I held tightly and counted. He tried to rip my arm away but only successfully gave me these nice nail marks."

"Damn Tris, when did you get so badass?" Uriah asks with a smirk.

I shrug, "Four taught me some self-defense."

"Ah, that explains how you got so good so fast," Zeke says.

"Thanks for always being there guys but can Tris and I be alone for a little while? Go home and we'll call you," Tobias suggests.

"No problem, man," Will says, and they all gradually filter out of my house.

When they're all officially gone, Tobias grabs me by the hips and drags me onto his lap. I turn around, straddling him so that I can see his face properly.

He keeps one hand placed on my hip but he uses his other hand to cup my cheek. I can't help but lean into his touch. "Tris, why do you have to get yourself hurt for me?" He asks, looking me in the eyes, not even attempting to hide his emotions anymore.

I shake my head gently. "I did it for us. Not just you."

"Jeez Tobias, don't be so selfish," I add with a huge smirk.

He laughs for a moment but then his face grows serious again. "You're the strongest girl I know. The strongest I've ever met," He whispers.

"I love you, Tobias Eaton," I say, already leaning down towards him.

"I love you too, Beatrice Prior." And with that, our lips crash together with a force that sends a shock of pleasure-pain through me. I cup the back of his neck, fingers tangling in his dark brown hair. Tobias' hands run up my sides and an involuntary moan slips through my lips. He parts my lips, stroking inside with his tongue. I eagerly respond, moving my hands to run down his chest to the hem of his shirt and then allow them to slip under, rubbing his hard abdomen. We break the kiss off momentarily, enough time for me to practically rip his shirt off of him and toss it across the room. He kisses me again but after a couple seconds, I break off, gasping desperately for air, our breath mingling together.

"Wow," Tobias gasps, pressing his face to the juncture of my neck and shoulder.

"Why don't we go upstairs?" I manage to gasp out, wiggling my eyebrows suggestively.

Tobias laughs breathlessly but nevertheless, picks me up bridal style and races up the stairs. He throws open his bedroom door and kicks it shut behind us. He puts me on the bed and smiles down at me admiringly.

This is where I'm happy. This is where I belong. With him.
