This Challenge is based off of the tragic tale of Romeo and Juliet. The Challenge goes through 10 generations, with the 10th Generation being the generation of Romeo & Juliet. You could look at the first 9 generations as "prequels" to the main story. Have fun with it!

Starting out, you choose to play the Capulet household or the Montague household. You don't have to keep those last names, though. Once you pick your household, you create a Founding Couple, and you will pick (or make) an Enemy Household that you will have to maintain a very negative relationship with throughout the Challenge. By the 10th Generation, your household must have at least $75,000 in house hold funds. They must also live in a mansion. The FC can have any LTW and traits.

No Cheats are allowed except the ones specified in the 10th Generation.

The Founding Couple

Make Founder Couple - they can have any traits/LTW's you choose
- They can live in any house starting out, but choose wisely, as you will have to stay in this house until you can afford to move the family into a mansion. (You must live in a mansion by the 10th Generation!)
- The Founding Couple must have at least 3 Friends, but preferably as many Friends as you can make and maintain as possible. These friends will be known as "Family Friends"
- The children of the Founding Couple (and every generation except 10th) must marry a child from one of your Family Friends families – if none of the Family Friends have children, then your heir MUST marry a celebrity)
- Children cannot be adopted (for bloodline)
- Founding couple must have at one child to be the heir. You can have more, but the eldest child should always be the heir. They can be of either gender, but on the 10th generation the heir's gender must coincide with which family you are playing. For example, if you are playing a Capulet, your 10th gen heir must be a female. If you are playing the Montague family, your 10th gen heir must be male.

The Enemy Family

Pick a family from your town (or make one) to be enemies with throughout the challenge.
Enemy family must have at least one child starting out.

Founding couple must become enemies with everyone in the Enemy family. It doesn't matter how, just become enemies!

You must stay enemies with them throughout the 1st 9 generations.

Have your teens pull pranks on the Enemy Family's house.

10th Generation (Romeo & Juliet) Rules:

By this time, your family must be rich and living in a mansion. Host lots of parties!
Enemy family must have a child the same age as your heir. If they dont, play their household and get them pregnant at the same time as your Main family. Here is one way you can do this:

Have your family have a child (again, make gender coincide with which family you are playing).
Once the baby is born, go to options and turn OFF Story Progression.
Go to your Enemy Family, and play them long enough to get them pregnant and give birth to a child (if you are playing Juliet's family, make sure the Enemy Family child is a boy and vice versa).
You may use cheats to keep the Enemy Sims happy to speed this part up, but make sure the mother eats whatever fruit (apple or watermelon) to get the baby to be born the right gender.
The day the baby is born, go back to Options and turn ON Story Progression.
Continue Challenge.

-Heir must have Hopeless Romantic trait, but all other traits are up to you.
-Can have any LTW
- Cannot meet their Star Crossed Lover at school or in public (aka if you are playing Juliet, you can not meet your Romeo at school, and vice versa) It would probably be best to not "Meet New Friends" at school to make sure this doesn't happen.
-Your heir must have very good relationships with every member of your family
- When your heir is a teen, Star crossed lovers must meet at a party. If you are playing Juliet, your family must host the party and you will have to play the Enemy Family to make Romeo go to her party. If you are playing Romeo, you can either wait for Juliet's family to throw a party or play her household to make her family throw one. Then go to the party and meet Juliet. Don't get caught! How they meet exactly is up to you.
-While at the party, Your star crossed lovers must not kiss! But they must interact/flirt until you get the option to make them kiss.
- Leave the party.
- Go on 2 dates with your star crossed Lover (must be at night, must be completely alone where ever you go! If there are other people there, go somewhere else.)
- Continue this secret relationship until they are young adults.
- Make them woohoo at least once anywhere you choose. Preferably in Juliet's house when everyone else is gone.
- Have your lovers become engaged (again, in secret).
- Have a private wedding in a secluded place.

While the couple are still young adults, have both families (including Romeo and Juliet) meet at a public place. Have them fight with each other, argue, anything negative.

Here are when cheats are needed:

Make sure Romeo and Juliet are in the middle of the action
then hit CTRL+SHIFT+C then type "testingcheatsenabled true" then hit ENTER

Go to your Romeo's needs and kill him by clicking on his hunger and dragging it down so he starves to death (that sounds pretty gruesome, I know!) Do the same for Juliet.

Watch the families mourn the two star crossed lovers.

Challenge Over.
