Chapter 14: The Alliance and The Master Biggoron Sword

There Link was standing over a defeated Ganondorf, who wasn't sure what was the next plan for him. Link hadn't done anything since he made it to Ganondorf but just stare at him.

Link turned his head violently to the opposite direction and held out his hand. Ganondorf didn't know what to think of this notion at all, it was uncalled for and a bit different than what he had expected.

Ganondorf took Link's hand who helped him stand up and walked away. Ganondorf dusted off, curious as to what just happened, "Link? Why didn't you..."

After Link stopped a few feet away, he then interrupted, "Ganondorf, look. I know this may come as a shock to you because I even shocked myself with this idea. I didn't kill you, so what? Something told me it's not fated to be that way, your meant to do something later that changes history. I... I believe this and that is why I will ask you honestly, will you aid us in this final battle against Demise? I know you were the main target, but since Demise showed up, he's become top priority. So, what's your answer?"

Placing both of his hands behind his back, Ganondorf said, "One thing, why do you think you can trust me?"

Staring back at Ganondorf, Link then replied, "Because, you and I both know that if Demise is taken out then you take throne again. I have a feeling you'd might wanna take a part in that battle to revive your role as King of Evil. However..."

Sora then stepped up and began, "However, once he takes back the throne, we'll have no choice but to kill him afterwards Link. He knows this also, I don't think this is a good idea dude. Once and if we defeat Demise, Ganondorf will retake the throne and try to kill us again."

Ganondorf brings one of his hands to point at Sora as he agreed, "I concur with Sora there. If we manage to defeat him, I will just go back to my old ways. Why should I help you?"

Walking up to Ganondorf, Link stopped right in front of his face and said, "Look, you know it as well as I do, if we don't team up your just going to either be killed by us anyway or take on Demise on your own and die trying correct? Now answer me this! Would you rather die a pathetic try hard who couldn't do what he set out to do, or would you rather defeat your nemesis and have a chance to become something greater than a King of Evil!?"

Riku then started in, "Link what are you getting at dude?"

Frustrated because noone saw the point here, "LOOK! I have a theory here listen to it! I don't believe that Ganondorf is doing what he is just because he wants to! He has a goal to do something more than just rule the world am I right Ganondorf?!"

Knowing that Link was right, Ganondorf however tried to deny it, "N... not really Link. My goal is to rule the world."

Calling his bluff, Link then said, "Don't lie to me Ganondorf, what is your TRUE goal!?"

Ganondorf then sighed as he said, "You wanna know that? Fine, my absolute true goal is to be the most powerful creature alive in this world. If that doesn't work, I then have my backup plan that if I fail at that then I fail with honor."

Link then said, "There! Ganondorf! If you aid us in this final battle, think about it. You'll succeed both your first goal and your backup. You'll have defeated the most powerful being in the world and thus becoming said most powerful. Then you will be sealed up into the Sacred Realm as planned, but you'll have that feeling of victory still lingering forever from defeating the most powerful being ever! It's a win-win for you. What do you say Ganondorf?"

Turning around to the wall, Ganondorf then thought on it for a second, "Now that you put it that way. I have to say yes but here's the thing. I will never change my ways, I know this and you know as well. Don't ask why I am basically agreeing to lose anyway, I know for a fact that I cannot stop you if you were to challenge me again like before, that's been proven. I am not saying yes completely until I know you'll let me do one thing."

Seeing that he was talking Ganondorf into helping, Link then said, "Alright what is that?"

Ganondorf turned his head to Link and said, "You let me get the final kill shot on Demise. If you let me do that one thing, I will agree to everything. I don't know if this will do anything, but you have my word on that."

Thinking on Sora and Riku now, Link then said, "Look, I will make a serious promise that if you return Sora and Riku back to their world I will personally hold down Demise myself where you can deliever the final blow, but I would do it where I wouldn't get killed myself."

After listening, contemplating and agreeing to everything in his mind, Ganondorf said aloud to Link, "Fine, you have my word that if you let me have the final blow then I will send those two back to their world and then get sealed up in the Sacred Realm no questions asked. Seems fair."

Link still noticed one problem, "Um, there is still one thing left Ganondorf. We cannot defeat Demise without finishing what we started by powering up this Biggoron Sword to it's max potential and making it the second Master Sword. Where is the last flame?"

Ganondorf walked over to the middle of the arena and said as he lifted a foot, "You might wanna clear this part of the arena guys."

With a firm movement Ganondorf slammed his foot into the ground. After his foot landed he and the others stepped back and watched as the last flame showed itself.

From within the floor, a large pedastal started raising from the floor. Right from where the crack was in the floor, believe it or not.

Link was relieved to know the flame was alright as he stepped forth with the Biggoron sword in hand and presented it to the flame. Fi appeared and possesed the flame and forced many little flames into the Biggoron Sword causing the Sword to power up and change form one last time.

The Bigorron Sword began changing as its hilt changed from a plain purple hilt to a bright glowing three part hilt. Its next part halfway branched off outward and curved back inward toward the middle hilt. The other half branched upward and into a heart shaped piece. The blade itself, was a round piece and then went off into and created the actual blade.

The thing about this sword was that the entire blade was a bright off white and glowed brightly. Link held it with one hand and swung it away from everyone as he liked how the blade felt in his hand.

Link then sheathed it and said, "Alright, now Ganondorf listen. I am entrusting you with this Master Sword 2 ok? The only thing is, it is of pure power and can't kill anything made from the same power. Meaning you can't kill us, but I am giving this to you because I know we can weaken Demise down, this is to ensure his defeat and your final blow to him alright?"

Ganondorf took the sword and said to Link, "Well, I guess it's only fair you give me a sword that won't kill you. Alright, this'll do for now. So, what's the plan guys?"

Link starts by saying, "I don't know yet. I have a feeling their closing off every exit and entrance to Kokiri Forest. I have no clue what we're going to do. I mean, leaving now through the Ocarina is a bad cause we'd never get back. Let's make out plan in the Forest Clearing then go for it alright?"

Sora agrees with Link, "It sounds like a plan, not much but it's better anyway. Let's go."

They made it to the Forest Clearing and began divising their plan.

Link, Sora and Riku were all sitting around the stump in the clearing, Ganondorf was standing with his arms crossed and a foul look on his face as they planned.

Link saw Ganondorf just standing there as he said, "Say Ganondorf, why not help us out here? You know the castle's layout right. I mean you did build it correct?"

Uncrossing his arms, Ganondorf then walked up the stump and said, "Fine, it'll help this process move faster then sure. Alright, the castle has three entrances, the main front, the side and the secret one I made."

Thinking about it for a second, Riku then asked, "Wait a second, you built a secret entrance to your new castle? Why exactly did you do that?"

Ganondorf sighed heavily then he explained, "I know it seemed stupid because of everything. Look here, when you have plans on ressurecting old evil friends, you have to have a way out if they ever decide to over take you. That's what happened just not like I thought. Demise does not know about it either so if we take that entrance, we'd be taking him by surprise."

Looking back at Ganondorf, Link said, "You thought of everything didn't you? So, where exactly is this secret entrance? I mean, there aren't many places I can think of around Kokiri Forest to be 'secret' to me."

Placing his hands on the stump, Ganondorf then said, "It's a bit ironic but I put beneath your old house Link. I saw the sign and it made me think, 'That Link is always thinking of ways to get out of things, I'll put it here.' Now I know what your about to ask Link, the rest of the Kokiri are locked away in my dungeon. So, when are you planning on attacking?"

Link looked at Ganondorf and said, "Alright, he'll expect us tonight and tomorrow for sure. How about tomorrow night? If he is anything like what I think he is, he'll drop his guard then. If not, well then we'll still take on the onslaught anyway. So, we'll sleep tonight and attack tomorrow night and everything got it? We'll need to take shifts to watch Ganondorf here unless you can watch yourself?"

Ganondorf begun to lay down on the ground and said, "Don't worry your head off about me Link. I am not rushing anything, if I do, I'll just end up rushing my imprisonment and not enjoy any of my free time. I'll be alright."

Still uneasy about the whole thing Link was taking a huge chance, "Fine, I will trust you this once Ganondorf. We have a big day ahead so we all need rest ok?"

Everyone agreed as they all laid down and went to bed. In the middle of the night, Link awoke to the sound of calm rustling near him. Link sat up slowly and looked around, he saw Ganondorf sitting on the stump looking like he was writing something.

Link stood up quickly and grabbed his sheathed sword as he asked Ganondorf, "What are you doing?"

Ganondorf then put his utensil away and spoke to Link, "I am writing up everything you'll need and how to create that portal to send Sora and Riku back. I am writing this now to help you guys out. This process is a good hour long and it could go wrong if you don't do it right. Here is everything, I've written it all out for ya."

Taking the paper which had LOADS of info on making the portal and everything and put it in his pocket. He then went on to ask Ganondorf, "Why did you write this out?"

Laying back down, Ganondorf then said, "Look, I know that I will be sealed immediately after killing Demise, then again I might not even make it out alive. I wrote it out as a precaution in case alright? I think things through when not under pressure."

Putting the sword away and laying back down, Link said to him, "Look, I really want to think you can change Ganondorf but really, evil is always evil. Oh well, best get some sleep."

During the night, Ganondorf didn't sleep at all, in fact he stayed up staring into the sky. Link, Sora and Riku got up and Link asked Ganondorf, "Did you sleep Ganondorf?"

He looked at Link with a dull face and said, "No Link, I didn't sleep at all. I'll sleep when I'm sealed up."

After those words Link began keeping a close eye on Ganondorf who seemed a bit off since he last saw him. They waited all day until sun down where they waited at the entrance to Kokiri Forest from the Lost Woods.

Link thought about their plan and sneaked a peek in to the Kokiri Forest village. He noticed the villaged looked unharmed, but where the entrance to the Deku Tree was, now sits the bridge into the castle.

Beginning from the path to the Deku Tree beyond, the castle now stands. Tall as Hyrule's Old castle, and looks like the old Ganon's castle nearly.

Their were spotlights patrolling the grounds of Kokiri and watching for intruders. There were even Moblins pacing certain areas while holding their powerful spears.

Link stared long enough to notice they had actually had a pattern to their patrol. He then saw out a plan visually and went back to the others with the plan.

After Link made it back to them, he then spoke breathing heavily, "Ok, it doesn't look good out there. However, I noticed the Moblin guards have a pattern to them. We can make it only one at a time."

Ganondorf placed a hand upon his chin and chuckled, "Hmm, they never change do they? They always have whatever patterns you give them, their so dumb that way."

Giving Ganondorf a strange eye, Link then said, "Alright, here in an hour I want to begin this infiltration and fast. I'll draw it out for you guys to get a better idea alright?"

After Link drew up Kokiri Forest and everything with a stick in the ground, he then finished the explanation, "One by one, I'll go first to show you guys the route, then you follow alright?"

He showed them the route once and they got it. They went to the entrance and took a peek and noticed everything was still as it was before.

Link then took a deep breath and said, "Guys, when your ready let me know and we'll begin."

Guys! Here it is, a little sooner than planned I know but I was bored. Here's the thing, the entire night scene with Ganondorf does seem a bit out of whack for it being from Zelda I know, I couldn't do anything better honestly. Anyway, if you guys didn't like this Chapter I understand why fully, if you did like it, more power to ya. Chapter 15... it'll be done later of course but how much later? I dunno, I been writing a bit more here lately to waste time honestly. Lemme know what you guys think of it if you want, until next time guys~ Stay awesome!
