Stupid word and its stupid features that change my document to read only and I don't want it to be either.

The next few hours were particularly boring. I wondered if Hakudoshi was lurking in the bushes, waiting to see if I did something. As the sun was rising over the mountains, Sesshomaru came out to greet me.

"So, how was it after I left?"

"That Souleater's name is Hakudoshi. He showed up right after you left. He was waiting for you to leave."

"InuYasha told me that he made you angry again. If he would just think about what he was going to say before he said it, he would be fine."

"He left this for me." I handed him the note and crushed flower.

His eyes brightened and he laughed. "I think he has a crush on you. It's just like third grade but instead of pulling your hair or spitting, you're crashing his black van and almost killing him."

I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Almost only counts in horseshoes. So what do you need?"

He pouted. "I don't like hearing him walk back and forth in his room, it bothers me."

I giggled a little. "Just get over it. Nobe should be here soon so I'll go in with you so you won't be alone." There was a rustling in the bushes and Sesshomaru got into a stance I showed him, eyes and face hard. I drew and arrow and aimed.

Yura popped out of the bushes and froze. "I'm not an intruder, I have a boyfriend who lives here." She soon recognized us. "You can relax, it's just me." She put her hands on her hips.

I raised an eyebrow as Sesshomaru stepped forward. "We know what you did with Koga. You are no longer welcome here."

She glared. "That is none of your business or your choice to make." She turned to me and my drawn arrow. "Put your arrow down. You won't do it."

"Yura, it is time for you to leave."

She scoffed. "You need to back up. Unless you and me are having fun, get out of my business."

I narrowed my eyes and fired the arrow. It was an inch away from her neck and flew through her hair, cutting it a little.

"I believe he told you to go on somewhere."

She looked afraid and ran at us. We didn't move and she ran past us and into the house and locked the door. I took the key from my pocket and she backed away and ran up the stairs.

Sesshomaru and I laughed. "That was priceless! I wish I had taken a picture of that! You actually shot at her. I want to see InuYasha's face when she walks into his room."

We heard a rather loud voice a minute later from InuYasha's room. We both looked up and the light was on and he was at the window facing into his room. We saw Yura running back down the stairs and fumbling with the door. On her was past us we both tripped her. She fell and got back up and ran.

We were on the ground laughing by the time InuYasha came outside, face red with rage. "Why didn't you two stop her?"

"I-It was t-too funny to watch t-that!" Sesshomaru managed to get out. I was having trouble breathing I was laughing so hard.

"We tried, we really did, but she locked the door."

InuYasha rolled his eyes and yanked me to my feet and pressed our chests together. He reached his hands into my back pockets and felt around for the key. When he realized that it wasn't back there, he reached into my front pockets and pulled it out.

"You have a key."

"You had to assault me to find it? My back pockets are not that big."

"He wanted to feel you so he has a decent idea of what it feels like for his imagination." Sesshomaru wiggled his eyebrows. "Maybe Hakudoshi will look for the key as well."

"Sesshomaru, stop talking." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Wait, who is Hakudoshi?"

"He is Kagome's Souleater booty call."

I raised my eyebrows at him. "Are you drunk, high, or just sleep deprived?" I shook my head and InuYasha's mouth was wide open. "Close your mouth, boy."

"I can't help it! He just said something about a booty call and you, how can I not react like this? Sesshomaru, what is wrong with you today?"

He laughed and shrugged. "Maybe I'm just high on life or something, but I just think it's funny and I need some sort of entertainment."

I rolled my eyes. "Go inside and get some sleep. I think Nobe is here, I'm not sure though. Hey Nobe, are you out there?" I called out to the bushes.

He stepped out in the old uniform, like the ones before the change when I was in high school. "How have you been, kid?"

I smiled and rolled my eyes. "You're having a small flashback aren't you? You want to relive that time you almost died?" I laughed at his face.

"I'll do it only if you relive almost dying too." He froze and realized what he said. "Kagome, I am so sorry, I didn't mean it."

I rolled my eyes. "It is in the past and I'm alive now, aren't I?"

He nodded. "How does it look?" I put down the weapons and took off the belt my shirt was tucked into and lifted it so he could see the scar. He looked to me for permission and I nodded. He stepped forward and ran three fingers over the scar carefully. "It feels like it's getting better."

InuYasha shoved him away and stood in front of me protectively. Nobe got into a stance similar to Sesshomaru's and glared. "Don't touch her scar." InuYasha growled.

Nobe scoffed. "She gave me permission, as I hear it you've been touching her in other places and you didn't have permission. So at least I have permission to touch her, so how about you back away from her right now and you won't get hurt."

InuYasha narrowed his eyes. "Is that a challenge?"

Nobe scoffed. "You think you can take me on? You can't handle your own brother let alone me, but I'll take you on." InuYasha stepped forward and they circled each other.

"Bring it on. I know you've had feelings for Kagome. Why else would you be there every time I saw her? You were jealous of me and you know it."

Nobe let out a loud, short laugh. "There's nothing to be jealous of. You broke her and you don't have a chance with her. You were never even in the same league as her. She always deserved better than you." He sneered at InuYasha.

InuYasha jumped and they began. I rolled my eyes. "You have everything in the world to be jealous of. My lips have touched her lips, her neck, her hair. My arms have held her close to me and my heart. My hands have held her hands and have caressed her cheeks. Have yours?"

He smirked. "My hands have held the sorrows which she held secret from you. My arms have held her form when she ran to me when you broke her in half. My ears have heard those past memories which she withheld from you. I think I have you beat." He smirked, knowing he won this.

I was kind of pissed right now. InuYasha was mostly at fault, but Nobe didn't need to make things worse. "Both of you, stop acting like children, would you? Knock it off, Nobe. He might have started it but you didn't need to keep it going."

They jumped again. InuYasha really does better when he's angry. He was actually a challenge for Nobe and that was hard to do, believe me I know. "You're angry that she was always mine!" InuYasha yelled at Nobe.

Nobe and InuYasha kept fighting each other. "Both of you stop!" I yelled as both of them were about to make a decent blow to each other and Sesshomaru and I both got in between them. Nobe got Sesshomaru in the arm but InuYasha got me in the eye. Both of us fell backwards though.

"Kagome, no!" InuYasha leaned down to look at me but Nobe threw him across the yard.

"Kagome, what happened? Where did the bastard hit you?" He looked all over until he found the spot that was starting to bruise and sting like a bitch. "You're going to have a nasty bruise." Nobe was thrown where InuYasha was.

"I am so sorry Kagome. I didn't see you in time to stop it. What do you need?" He smiled fondly. "This reminds me of the time I was in your house and you came home with a cut on your head."

Nobe threw him away. "Here, let me help you." Nobe went to pick me up but InuYasha took me and it was just a fight from there. I didn't get two feet from my original spot!

"Both of you will stop this and give her to me now." No one saw InuTaisho come out, but he scared both of them and he took me. He carried me inside. "Sesshomaru, pull the couch into the kitchen now." Sesshomaru yanked the couch into the kitchen and InuTaisho set me down on it. "Get a pillow for her head." Sesshomaru lifted my head and placed it gently on the soft pillow. "Don't let her sleep just yet."

Sesshomaru was doing what his father told him to do. He kept asking me questions. "Do we really have to do this? You couldn't maybe ask me some questions that won't bore me to sleep?" I smiled.

InuTaisho moved Sesshomaru and kneeled next to me with a wash cloth and a pot next to him. "Here, it's bleeding a little bit." He put the cloth to my head and it was cold and painful. I slouched away from it. "I'm sorry, but it needs to be done." I nodded and winced as he continued.

"Can I sleep now?" Sleep was starting to flow into me like crazy. "I'm really tired now."

He sighed. "Give me a moment and you can sleep, okay?" I nodded slowly and kept my eyes open. "Hold this to it and I'll have Sesshomaru carry you back up to your room." He looked down. "Do you want me to put something on that?"

I shook my head. "It'll be just fine." Sesshomaru lifted me from the couch and my upper body went slack so my hands and head were dangling from his arms. "Thank you." I fell out.

I woke back up in the same clothes and under blankets. I rose and a cloth fell from my head. I had the biggest headache in the world and found pills next to my bed, along with InuYasha in a chair, fully awake.

"How are you doing?" He stood to be next to me.

"Don't come near me, I'll be just fine." I stood and swooned a little, but caught myself. I took the pills and sat back down. "How long?"

He sighed and sat next to me on the bed. I scooted as close to the head bored as I could get. "You've been out for a few hours. We still have loads of time before we have to leave, so you're good. You never seem to be able to stay out for more than four hours at a time, can you?" He smiled.

I huffed. "I sleep as long as I need to." I tried to scoot away from his advancing form. "Could you maybe not get closer? I scooted away from you to be away from you."

"You owe me an explanation, Kagome."

I raised my eyebrows. "I'm sorry, did you just tell me that I owed you something? Who is the one here with a black eye and a cut?" He looked guilty, but put his hands on both sides of my face against the bored behind us.

"I know and I'm sorry. You told Nobe?"

I sighed. I knew what he was talking about. "It's complicated InuYasha."

"I don't give a damn. Tell me why he knew and I didn't."

I sighed. "He was there when the transformation happened and when…" I didn't like to tell people that I killed my boyfriend.

I am so ending it right there.
