Blair tasted metallic in her mouth. Her head was dizzy, she felt a liquid substance roll down her face. She was in so much pain.

"Blair are you okay?" Stephan's voice sounded so far away. She felt him pull her out of the car. She couldn't feel her body. "Blair?" She felt liquid enter her mouth, it tasted sweet. "Blair please, drink." She felt hungry and started to drink. She felt warmth enter her body. Suddenly she was feeling better, everything was coming into perspective.

"Stephan?"

"Oh thank God Blair, There was a deer in the road."

"How am I feeling better?" She said while sitting up. It was as if nothing was wrong with her. She felt the blood on her head but there was no more pain.

"My blood can heal you. I'm sorry it was the only thing I could think to do."

"Am I going to be a..." She couldn't finish the sentance. The thought scared her too much. She saw movies. If you drank the blood of a vampire than you would become a vampire, and that was the last thing that shew anted.

"No, you will not become a vampire, I would have to feed on you first. I would have to replace your blood with my blood and then you would turn."

"I thought I saw a person in the road. It was a deer?"

"Yes, it was..." He pointed ahead and Blair could clearly see the deers body sprawled on the road. "The car isn't in too bad of shape, but I don't think it's a good idea for us to drive in it."

"Just call someone to tow it." Blair said to him as she stood up. She couldn't believe how alive she felt. She felt like she was at the prime of her life, like nothing could stop her. She's never felt so healthy. "I think we can still go though, we might be a little late."

"Okay." Stephan picked up his phone and called a tow truck.

"I saw someone." Blair whispered when Stephan got off the phone.

"What do you mean you saw someone?"

"I mean I saw a figure, it wasn't the deer. I saw a black figure out there." Blair knew what she saw, she knew she wasn't going crazy. There was something else out there and she was afraid that it was Damon. He could have easily thrown a deer at their car. Damon seemed to have more powers than Stephan.

"I didn't see anything Blair, don't worry about it. If it was Damon, I would have sensed it." He put his arm around her trying to comfort her a bit. He didn't see anything, but that doesn't mean that she didn't. It worried him that she would have saw something. What happened to her during her lost time? He wasn't sure how he was going to find out, but maybe Meredith could help.

The tow truck guy came and offered them a ride home. He took the car to his shop and Stephan said he would just check up on it in the morning.

"So this is where you live? Very nice." Blair said eyeing his beautiful red brick home. "Big enough for a family to live in, but it's just you?"

"I have some live in servants." He said to her. Trying not to sound to showy, but he liked everything being in it's place at all times. "They live in the back house. Most of them should be back there now so we will have the place to ourselves." He said opening the glass double doors for her. She walked inside stunned by the beauty of his home. Mahoganay wood carved staircase, a beautiful big brick fire place with a bear skin rug in front. Everything just seemed so perfect and romantic in here. "The costume is upstairs." She walked up the spiral staircase and entered his bed room.

his room was quite beauiful as well, a King size bed covered in fine gold egyptian sheets, golden headboard with swirls of angels. The dresser matched with gold and angels as well. She was in awe of it's beauty. Then sitting on his bed was his costume. Leather tunic with a red silk cape bordered with gold.

"Wow, surprised you found something so nice online." Blair said while touching the fabric. Felt like the finest he could possibly by. "We are definitely going to look perfect together."

"I'm glad you approve." He said as he touched the small of her back. Blair looked into his haunting green eyes as they beckoned her. She found herself crashing into his mouth their tongues intertwined as they kissed deeper. His hand reached down and squeezed her buttocks softly and she moaned in his mouth.

"We should...ummm...slow down." Blair said breathlessly.

"Yeah sorry I don't know what came over me there. You just looks so beautiful."

"You mean so much like Katherine. I'm just confused with what happened to her. She disappeared?"

"The witch teleported her to safety. We didn't figure that out till later. We thought she hurt her so we ran before she could get to us. It's another long story...what happened to Kathereine...well she died."

"She died? How? Did Damon kill her?"

"Damon blames himself for her death. We hadn't seen Katherine in a long time, we moved on with our lives we moved to the Americas. Damon fell in love with a witch, but then Kathereine came back. The witch was angry and killed Katherine. Damon never forgave himself. He wished he could have just pined after Katherine forever. She was selfish though, she never wanted just Damon and she never wanted just me...she wanted the both of us for her. That's why I fell out of love with her, because she just saw us as toys."

"That sounds horrible, although honestly I was having trouble to. I mean Damon is so dangerous and mysterious, but now I know he's a cold hearted killer. You are sweet, kind, generous, and I don't see why Katherine had such a hard time seeing that you are the real deal."

"So you don't want both brothers?"

"No, one brother is fine with me." Blair said with a smile. Although something in the back of her head was telling her no, Damon was her true love. Damon just needed to be tamed and she was the only one that could tame him. Without her Damon would be destruction on earth, but with her he would bring peace. That was just her being a dreamer though. No woman can change a man and thinking that would only lead her into insanity.

"You okay?"

"Sorry just thinking too much. How long was I gone for? I mean I haven't even checked my phone." She looked at it no missed calls. "What was no one worried about me?"

"Pretty sure Damon took care of all of that. He always makes sure he has all his sides covered, probably used his abilities to tell your mom you are spending the night."

"Well do you mind taking me to Serena's? It's so late and I'm tired and I'm just sick of thinking right now."

"How about I take you to Merediths?"

"Why Mer?"

"I just have a feeling you are going to be more safe with her, can you trust me on this?"

"Okay." With that they got into Stephan's range rover and headed over to Meredith's house. "I'm really tired Mer can i just go to bed?"

"yeah sure. I will..."

"Can I come in a second Mer?"

"Ummm...sure come in." Stephan stepped inside.

"Please keep a close eye on Blair, if Damon ever comes over don't let him in the house."

"What do you mean don't let him in the house?"

"Just what I said, don't let him in. He's a bad guy. He's going to be after Blair and I know that you have some gifts Meredith. Explore them, empower them, and if you need help with it ask me, I think you will be the best defense for Blair."

"Okay, I do need help. I really don't know much of what I am doing. If it's going to protect Blair though, I would like to enhance them."

"It's late now, how about we meet up this weekend and I will tell you everything I know. Show you some places that will interest you."

"I was wrong about you Stephan, you are one of the good guys. Have a nice night." With that Stephan was gone. Hoping he made the right decision.

Meredith walked upstairs and laid in bed with Blair. Blair was crying and Meredith stroked Blair's hair.

"What happened?"

"I woke up in a motel, and I don't know how. I think it has something to do with Damon. I'm scared though Mer, like really scared. I have a feeling Damon has some sort of plan for me. Then I have this necklace with vervain that's supposed to protect me." Meredith looked at the necklace.

"they took out hte vervain...a witch did. There's a spell on it a forget me spell." Meredith took off the necklace. "I have vervain." Meredith stood up and walked over to her spell drawer she pulled out the vervain and mushed it and put it in a glass of water. "You have to drink it every day to keep it in your system. I always just used it as a healing herb. But if it protects you against Damon then you can have as much as you want."

"You take some too Mer and we need to have Serena take it as well."

"What's going on? You are kind of freaking me out here Blair."

"I will explain it all to you later. Right now I just need to sleep." with that Blair closed her eyes, let her last tears slip and then she slipped into a deep sleep.
