"SPONGE BOBBLE!"
Kaito couldn't hold it in anymore. He cracked up laughing, leaning helplessly into Shinichi's shoulder, who was staring at the McDonald's TV commercial in open bemusement.
"That's a cute commercial and all," Shinichi wryly said, looking a bit pained. "But you know that when the Americans see this, they're going to think that they are completely justified in believing that we're all lunatics."
Kaito snickered.
Somewhat breathlessly, he said, "What's even worse is that they won't understand a single word they're saying...unless they put up a translation. Did you SEE that kid in the blue shirt? He looked psychotic!" Kaito burst out laughing again.
Shinichi laughed, agreeing with him. "There is such a thing as over-exaggeration."
Kaito just giggled helplessly.
