Notes for this chapter; 1. Hanabi (Hinata's little sister) was born last year. There's a five-year different between the two so Hanabi should have been born when Hinata was five. 2. Naruto was given the apartment, finally, over the last two years. They weren't very clear about when Naruto got the apartment so I decided it was close to the Academy time.

My only excuse for the lateness of this chapter is a thing called laziness. SORRY!

[Time skip: around two years (Naruto and Hinata are now six)]

{Namikaze Training Room}

Naruto, Hinata, Ash, and Mismatched were all in the Namikaze Training Room. They were all siting in the middle of the room talking.

"Guys, me and Hinata should be starting the Academy in one more week. We need to focus on our training a little more before we start."

Naruto's hair grow down to his shoulder blades over the two years. His fingernails grow longer and turned into claws, and the whisker marks grow and darken from his training with Kurama's chakra.

"Naruto, we are all already very strong. We don't have to worry about us not being as strong as everyone else. Plus, only me and you are being tested at the end of the year. They won't test the foxes."

Hinata's hair also grow but only down to her shoulders. She painted her nails a reddish pink and she got a little tan from always training outside.

"Even though they won't be testing us that doesn't mean we shouldn't be strong. If we aren't strong then when you guys become genin and go on missions, we won't be any help."

Ash's spiky fur grow a little so the spikes are now longer, but he kept the straight fur the same length, and his claws grow to be about an inch and a half (he would have them longer but then he wouldn't be able to walk right).

"Ash is right. Just because we won't be tested doesn't mean we can be weak. Us being weak will only be a hindrance when you graduate and go on missions. I don't want to be the cause if you get hurt on a mission."

Mismatched grow in height and was now about a foot and three-fourths tall. His tail was about eight inches from his body to the tip. His fur only grow about inch.

"You guys are right. I bet we're even stronger than everyone else that's joining the Academy with us." Naruto flashed them all a fox-like grin.

"Naruto, will you please ask Kurama to stop making you look like a fox? You already look like one enough as it is."

"Why don't I pull you into the seal so you ask her yourself, Hinata?" Naruto had an evil glint in his eyes while he said that.

Hinata viably paled. "NO! You know I have had a fear of going in ever since the first time you pulled me into the seal!"

Naruto, Mismatched, and Ash all started laughing at Hinata's reaction. Ever since Naruto pulled Hinata into the seal to meet Kurama she's had a fear of going back in. She would still go in if she had to, but she tried to keep away from it as much as she could. But Naruto and all the foxes take every chance they get of making Hinata freak-out over the seal.

Hinata glared at everyone while they laughed. "I hate you all..."

[Six more days till Academy]

"Naruto, I have an idea for a training exercise today."

"Really? Great. What is it?"

"You need to get into a fighting position first."

"Why?"

"She's going to spar with you. Now get into the fighting position, she's coming at you."

"WHAT!?"

"Gentle Fist!"

[Five more days till Academy]

"Hey Hinata! I know a great exercise for today!"

"It's not going to be something to get back at me for yesterday is it?"

"What? Nooooo!" Shifty eyes

"You're lying."

"Hinata, trust me. I'm not lying."

"I'm going to regret this later. I just know it. Okay Naruto, what's the exercise?"

"First mediate and then put your hands on mine."

'Where have I heard that before?...'

[Four more days till Academy]

"Hinata."

"..."

"Hinata."

"..."

"Hinata!"'

"..."

"HINATA!"

"..."

"Come on, I said I was sorry. Please forgive me."

"..."

"You leave me no other choose." Naruto leaned in and gave Hinata a kiss on the cheek.

Blush "..."

"Don't make me go for the lips."

"... I forgive you."

"That's all I was asking for."

[Three more days till Academy]

"YOU KISSED MY DAUGHTER! AGAIN!"

"I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!"

Hinata, Mismatched, and Sunset were all standing to the side watching Hiashi chase Naruto around the Compound with the family sword. Again.

"How many times has this happened?"

"I lost count."

"H-how about j-just today?"

"Somewhere around four or five I think."

[Two more days till Academy]

"AH! Get her off me!"

"Ha! Ash, I can't believe a one-year old is defeating you! HA!"

"Shut up and get her off me Naruto!"

"Why don't you just force her off?"

"Are you kidding me? Hinata would kill me if I hurt her little sister!"

"Right. Why are we doing this again?"

"Hinata tricked both you and me into baby-sitting her sister remember?"

"Oh right. We need to get back at her for this."

"Way ahead of you. I already thought of a plan..."

[Academy's Tomorrow!]

"Ready?"

"Ready."

"Operation: Get back At Hinata For Tricking Us Into Baby-Sitting start."

"Y-you do k-know that N-Naruto and A-Ash are u-up ahead a-and they a-are planing o-on doing a-a trick o-on you, r-right?"

"Yep."

"A-are just g-going to f-fall for i-it?"

"Nope. I'm going to make it backfire on themselves."

Sigh "N-Naruto is s-starting to i-influence you a-a lot."

"Not too much..."

[ACADEMY DAY!]

Hinata had shown up at Naruto's apartment that morning with a present in her hands. The present had little foxes running all over the wrapping paper and a pretty red bow tied on top on of it.

"What's this for Hinata?"

"I just thought I would get you something for the first day of the Academy."

Naruto thanked her and then took off the bow and wrapping paper. When he opened the inside of the box he found a pair of goggles inside. The rubber was a greenish blue color and the glass over the eyes were round and they looked like they were coming out of the rubber. (A/N: Ya, that's the best I can describe them. You all should know what the goggles look like anyway and if you don't, SHAME ON YOU! Look up "goggles Naruto" if you really don't know or don't remember and my describing just screwed up your brain.)

"Wow, these are cool Hinata. But I didn't get you anything... Sorry." Naruto looked away with a dejected look on his face

It hurt Hinata's heart to see someone really close to her heart look sad.

"It's okay Naruto, I wasn't expecting you to get me anything anyway. I just wanted to get you something since you were able to get into the academy. Let's face it, we already know that the teachers won't like you because of Kurama. I still find that a very stupid reason to not like you by the way."

"Thanks Hinata. I still can't believed I was scared about me telling you about Kurama a couple of years ago."

"Scared? How about down-right terrified! You almost had a panic attack over it!"

"Shut up."

"You and what army will make me?"

"Sometimes I really hate you."

"Love you too!"

Naruto just sighed, put the goggles on his forehead, and started walking out the door with an irritated expression. Hinata looked at him strangely for a second before she shrugged her shoulders and followed Naruto out the door.

{Academy}

Naruto and Hinata made it to the Academy with about ten minutes to spare before they needed to go to class. They decided to look around the school for a little bit with the time they had.

The only thing they really saw were classrooms and the schoolyard. The classrooms did have different things in them for the different things they taught in there. The classrooms mostly had the same design but with different teachers and different books and things.

After they finished looking around they needed to get to class or else they would be late. They made it in just as the class was about to start. They ran through the door but ended up tripping over each-other and falling on their faces in the classroom. They whole class erupted in laughs but the teacher was able to calm everyone down.

"Hello you two and thank you for deciding to come to class today."

As they looked up towards the source of the voice they saw their teacher. He looked to be in about his twenty's with brown hair in a spiky ponytail, tan skin, black eyes, and a scar running across the bridge of his nose. He wore the standard uniform for a Konoha shinobi; green flack jacket with the Konoha symbol on the black, a black shirt with the Konoha symbol on both upper arms, Konoha forehead protector, black pants and shinobi sandals.

Hinata got up first and apologized to the teacher for the both of them. She helped Naruto up and pulled him to the back for their seats.

"My name is Iruka and I'll be your new teacher. Since it's the first day of classes I'm just going to tell you how things will work for the rest of the year. But before we do that I'm going to do roll call. Say 'here' when I call your name."

"Aburame Shino."

"Here."

Naruto looked over and saw the one that said 'here'. He was wearing a light gray jacket with another dark gray jacket over that. He had brown hair and wore dark sunglasses so he couldn't see his eyes.

"He's a Aburame so he uses bugs in his fights. They're able to use bugs to gather information on the area and are able to talk to the bugs. They also care very deeply for the bugs and hate to see them hurt."

"Akimichi Choji."

"Here."

This the boy had light brown puffy hair, swirl marks on his cheeks, and had more weight on him than the rest of class (1). He was wearing a green jacket with light green at the top part and the rest was dark green, and black pants.

"Akimichi so he uses his body for attacks. They're able to expand their body for they attack and are mostly close range fighters. Don't take him lightly just because he has more weight on him."

"Haruno Sakura."

"Here!"

This time it was a girl with short pink hair, large round green eyes, and fair skin. She was wearing a dark blue short dress that cut at the side next to her waist that stopped below the top of her legs, bright yellow pants that stopped just below her knees, and red sandals.

"Anything on Haruno?"

"No. But they can become very loud and the girls scary when angered."

"Hyuga Hinata."

"Back here."

"Don't think I need to tell you anything about the Hyugas."

"Ha. Ya, no need for that."

"Inuzuka Kiba."

"Here!"

"Arf!"

This boy had brown hair that looked untamable (like Naruto's), black eyes with slit-like pupils, long canine teeth, red fang markings on his cheeks, and lightly tanned skin. He was wearing a light brown shirt with dark brown under the elbows and blue shorts. There was also a little white dog sitting next to him with brown spots on his ears, and brown around his lips, nose, and eyes.

"Inuzuka use dogs for their attacks and they can under stand with the dogs are saying. Their like the Aburame clan when it comes to the dogs. They don't think of the dogs as weapons they think of them as partners. They can be very powerful when they work with the dogs so watch out if you every fight him with his dog."

"Nara Shikamaru."

"Here."

"Nara? That was Shikaku's clan's name right?"

"Ya. Shikamaru must belong to his clan also. The Nara can use shadows for their attacks and they are a clan of geniuses, but also are more lazy than a sloth. Don't be foiled by that though, they are very strong."

"Uchiha Sasuke."

"Here."

This boy had black hair that was spiked in the back (A/N: DUCK BUTT!) with bangs that hang above his eyes, round onyx eyes, and fair skin. He was wearing a light blue shirt with blank pants and sandals, and had a smile on his face.

"Uchiha so he should be very skilled as a fire Jutsu user. I doubt that he has the Sharingan yet because he is so young. The Uchiha can be very strong so be careful when you battle him. And watch out for any fire Jutsus he throws at you."

Iruka was about to call out the next name but he stopped when he read it. He looked up and around the room before he called out the next name.

"Uzumaki... Naruto."

Naruto noticed the hesitation and the hate in Iruka's voice but he pretended not to. Instead he just said 'here' in fake happy voice. Hinata took note of that and shot him a worried glance. He just waved it off.

"First off the Uzumaki are loud mouths that have no inside voice. Second they are very stubborn and never give up. And lastly, they are a bitch to kill."

"First, mean. Second, you got that right. And lastly, we are?"

"You guys NEVER stay down and seem to never die no matter what attacks come at you. And you have a bonus with me and my chakra. You'll be like a cockroach to kill. But that doesn't mean you're invincible. You're still young so don't get cocky. You can still get over powered, pass-out, and a lot of things could happen where you're too weak to continue and I can't help. Play it safe."

"Yamanaka Ino."

"Here."

It was girl with blond short hair, blue eyes with black around the pupils, fair skin, and a blue hair clip in her hair. She was wearing a purple lose choker, a pink shirt with a picture of flowers on the front, and black short with sandals.

"Yamanaka use a Jutsu that can transfer their mind to their opponent's body and take control of them. If the Jutsu works you have a higher chance of losing then winning. If it doesn't work it takes a few minutes for the mind to come to the body and you can use that time to get in a winning shot."

"So if I fight her make sure I don't get caught in her Jutsu."

"Right."

'Looks like Naruto and Hinata got themselves some very powerful classmates. Wonder how the teams will work out when they get assigned...'

(1) I really hate the hate the word fat and I refuse to call Choji it. He's not fat damn it! He has more weight on him than normal people and if you must, call him chubby! T^T

So Naruto has met his classmates. Time for the fun part for me. :) The next (or few) chapter(s) will just me trying to work with the people and then making people friends. I was waiting for the Academy.

I read on Narutowikia that Sasuke was respectful, nice, and NOT a jackass before Itachi killed the whole clan. I plan on taking full advantage of that. WUHAHA!
