"Looking for me?" Kasai said floating in the sky.
"Who are you?" Ruby asked making everyone fall (anime style)
Kasai chuckled, "I am Kasai, guardian of fire. I have waited a while to finally fight you. You must a worthy opponent to defeat my siblings."
"I will defeat you just like I did with you other siblings." Sakura said
"Oh, I am much stronger than my siblings."
"I doubt it"
Kasai smiled, "My style of fighting is much different than the others."
"It doesn't matter how different it is, I will still defeat you."
"We shall see." Kasai smiled, "Card mistress. You will be defeated."
Chapter 13
"I'm ready to finish this crap!" Sakura yelled getting into a fighting stance with her staff. Syaoran and Eriol were at opposite sides of Sakura while Yue, Keroberos, Spinel Sun and Ruby were behind them. Tomoyo moved away but stood in an area where she can still see every part of the action and not willing to miss anything.
"Seven against one seems unfair don't you think, card mistress?" Kasai smiled. "Don't worry I have a way of evening the odds. Hellhounds, appears!"
"Hellhounds?" Sakura asked. At that moment six hellhounds appeared at either side of Kasai. The hell hounds had black fur with glowing red eyes, there claws were long and looked sharp enough to kill a person and they looked like a combination between a dog and a hyena. As they growled their bodies suddenly covered in fire.
"Oh, we're in deep trouble." Ruby said as she saw the hellhounds on fire.
"I think we can take them" Syaoran said.
"That's what you think." Kasai said "Hellhounds take care of the card mistress friends" The hounds did as they command and stalked towards everyone except Sakura leaving her alone with Kasai. The gang had to back up in order to have a few feet between themselves and the hounds. The hounds growled before pouncing on them, Sakura watched as her friends fought the hounds and she was glad Tomoyo was away from the chaos. "Are you ready, card mistress?"
"More than ready" Sakura replied
Standing on Tokyo Tower, Chikaze was watching her brother and the card mistress fight, when Mizu appeared with Chi.
"Mizu, Chi what are you guys doing here?" Chikaze asked
"Wanted to see the card mistress being defeated by Kasai." Chi answered
"Wait, is that Kasai hellhounds?" Mizu asked
"Yeah he called them to take of the card mistress friends." Chikaze replied
"Why didn't we call our elemental beings?" Chi wondered
"Maybe because we truly did underestimate the card mistress" Mizu said, Chi and Chikaze nodded their heads.
Kasai smiled and he lifted his hand, summoning a sword that had a golden hilt and the sword itself was blazed in fire as he touched it, Sakura stared, "As I said before my style of fighting differs from theirs"
"It doesn't matter how you fight, I will still defeat you." Sakura said
"Are you going to defeat me with that staff of yours?" Kasai laughed
Sakura smiled, "SWORD!" she yelled out as the sword card took over her staff.
"How many damn cards do you have?" Kasai frowned
"That for me to know and for you to find out." Sakura said getting into a fighting stance with the sword in her hand. 'It a good thing I practiced with FIGHT and SWORD years ago.' She thought.
Kasai growled and ran towards her with the sword in his hands, he swooped in a downwards motion and Sakura held her sword in place. Both their swords met with a loud CLANG, their faces were only a feet away. "Hmm have you been practicing?"
"Of course, a girl never knows she has to fight guardians of a goddess."
Kasai chuckled, "How true" Kasai pushed Sakura back a few feet using his and her sword.
Sakura not wanting seem weak called out one of her cards; "POWER!" the card gave her the extra strength to push Kasai back.
"Now how is this, a fair fight, if you keep using those cards of yours?" Kasai said
"How is it fair that teen like me has to fight an old man like you"
Kasai frowned, "Who the hell are you calling an old man?!"
"Oh please, we both know that you're over a thousand, so don't even play. My guardians are younger than you."
Kasai growled, "My age does not concern you child."
"Your age is the reason why I have to use my cards against you."
Kasai growled and thrust his sword towards Sakura, which she blocked with her sword. He pulled back, but charged towards her again doing a quick foreswing then a backswing but Sakura barely blocked each attack with her sword. 'Damn I wasn't expecting him to be this fast.' She thought panting.
Kasai smiled noticing Sakura panting, "Are you tired card mistress?"
"Not at all" she answered
"Good cause we've only just begun." He then slashed at Sakura side but she quickly moved out of the way, he then kicked her hard at her gut causing her to fall.
Syaoran, who was still battling the hellhound, turned around to see Sakura on the floor. "Sakura!" Syaoran yelled. Syaoran turned to run to her but the hellhound jumped on top of him. As the hound was about to take a bite out of him, Syaoran placed in his sword in front to keep the hound from doing so. Struggling to hold the hound off, Syaoran took out his enchanted papers, "God of Thunder, obey the command!" The lightening attacks zapped the hound back a couple of feet. Syaoran got up and saw that the hellhound was lying still on the ground; he then looked around and saw the other defeating the rest of the hellhounds and walking to him.
"Sakura has yet to defeat the fire guardian?" Keroberos asked
"Unlike the other guardians, he's fighting her with his sword." Eriol stated
"I don't know if she could last long, Sakura doesn't have much training using a sword." Syaoran said
"Not true, Sakura trained with SWORD years ago." Yue replied
"When was this?!" Keroberos yelled
"The same time, she was training with FIGHT"
"Why the hell don't I know about this?!"
"You were probably too busy fooling around to notice"
"I was not!"
Yue looked at his brother, "This is not the time for this petty argument-"
"PETTY?!"
Yue continued as though Keroberos didn't interrupt him, "Our mistress needs our help"
Chi, Chikaze, and Mizu were watching Kasai and Sakura fight when Mizu noticed that Sakura guardians and friends had defeated the hellhounds since Kasai was too busy fighting Sakura he didn't noticed it. "Kasai hellhounds are defeated" he announced to his siblings" Chi and Chikaze turned their see what he said.
"The moment they sensed that their mistress can't handle to fight, they'll attack him." Chikaze said
Chi growled, "If only I had my powers, I would send my elemental beings on them."
"Well since you don't how about you leave this to me" Chikaze said
"Why just you? What about Mizu?"
"Look around Chi, there's no water around; his elemental beings won't survive in a battle and you're powerless" Chi growled at that. "And Kasai is busy, so that obviously leaves me" Chikaze smiled
"As much as it pains me to say it, she's right" Mizu said
"Ariga- hey, what the hell do you mean it pains you to say it?!" Chikaze said "Don't you know it's rude to disrespect your elders" she smiled
"Gomen demo, it's hard to remember that you're the oldest when you act like a child." Mizu grinned, Chikaze steamed. (AN: Doesn't this remind of someone?)
"Whatever Mizu" Chikaze lifted her hands, "Sylphs come to me, and attacks the friends and guardians of the Card mistress." As Chikaze said that, everyone felt a cold wind pass them. Chikaze smiled, "Let see them defeat something they can't see"
As the cold wind passed almost seeping into their bodies, everyone looked around except for Sakura and Kasai who was still fighting one another, "What was that?" Ruby asked
Yue looked around then looked up to see the three guardians standing on Tokyo Tower, "Something tells me it was them"
AN: I know I usually write more but lately I've going through some stuff so this is all I can give at the moment. Hopeful the next chapter will be longer. The story is coming to close and I want to thank everyone for reading and story with this story so fair. Till next time ja ne.
