A/N: I decided to update this now. Replies to reviews:
Mutecadence (I hope I got that right)-I'm sorry, but it had to be done.
Mirandalovespie: haha it's fine. The song was Don't Wish by Tonight Alive. You'll have to wait a few chapters to find out if he fixes it. I didn't want it to be overly cliché, so I hope it was okay.
ON WITH THE CHAPTER!

CHAPTER FOURTEEN (I THINK)
Max POV:
Of course it couldn't be an easy day for me when I got home. Why would you ever give Maximum Ride a break? Because I'm Maximum Ride. As soon as I walked in the door, I grabbed a canvas from behind the living room couch. Even though music is the world to me, I also love art. I was headed up to my room when I felt something cold on my foot. A giant puddle of black… paint? A huge puddle of black paint was in a container. I sighed and started to hop on one foot towards the bathroom, leaving a trail of black on the way. I turned on the bath and filled it up about halfway. I grabbed an old towel and started to rub my foot in the water. Of course it couldn't be acrylic paint, it had to be permanent wall paint. Great. I rubbed it off the best I could. Luckily, the paint was on wood floors, so I could mop it up. I went up to my room to see Lissa, Brigid, and Ella in my room. They had put a mustache in Sharpie on my Mitch Lucker poster. I ran up to it, and remembered I had a Magic Eraser (Mr. Clean Magic Erasers-erase even paint off of things. Except skin.) in my closet. I wet it in the sink down the hall and came back, leaped on my bed, and rubbed it off. I saw Ella holding my signed Mayday Parade poster (I met them before Jeb left me with Anne when I was fourteen), ready to rip it.
"Why are you doing this to me?" I asked, pulling the poster carefully from Ella's hands. "Fang likes you, obviously. I'm not even talking to him anymore. He's a player, and you can have him. I don't care." I didn't sound like Max; I sounded like a hurt girl. Ella started to snarl, but then realized what I said. "Huh?" She asked, then a look of mischief flashed on her face. "Oh, I knew that. So, you really don't want to fix things?" "Why would I? He hurt me. Get out." I sounded like my old violent Max again. "Fine," Lissa said. They tramped out of my room. "Note to self: lock door," I said. I put the canvas on my easel and got out my acrylic paints.
I painted the guy on the A Lesson In Romantics by Mayday Parade cover and then put a line of hot glue around it and wrote the lyrics to Jersey in the background. I then did blue crayon art so that it ended at the umbrella and looked like the umbrella was stopping the rain (I got the idea off of BitsySmurf's Instagram-Three Cheers For Five Years was in the background) When I finished, I went downstairs. Anne was waiting. "I need you to do these. Now," she said and handed me a list of chores. Considering I had nothing better to do, I nodded. "Okay," I said obediently. I looked at the list.

I got out my skateboard and decided to get the groceries now. It was only 3:30, so I had three hours. I got to Giant and grabbed everything I needed, and put it in a shopping cart with my skateboard. When I got to the checkout line, I started to load all of the stuff on to the thing that moves to scan stuff (I have no idea what they're called), and the clerk asked, "You're buying a skateboard?" "Yeah, you have a problem with that?" I asked, not looking up, as I grabbed my skateboard off of the thing. I handed one of Anne's many credit cards to the clerk when he asked, "A bit young for a credit card, aren't you, Max?" I looked up, and saw none other than Fang. "Just swipe the card and give it back," I growled. "Max, please, let me explain. I didn't say anything like what you think to Ella. Please, listen to me, Max!" I just death glared at him and said, "People are in line behind me, moron. Do your job and plead with me some other time." He handed me back my card. I grabbed my bags and ran outside, hopping on my skateboard as soon as I was out. I skated home as fast as I could.
I handed Anne the groceries, and she smiled at me. Okay, I thought. Anne smiled at me? She was in this plain green dress, her blond hair over her shoulders. I did the rest of the chores and finished at 6:29. Yes! I finished on time! I heard the doorbell. That must be Anne's date, who she made dinner for. I heard Anne saying, "Are you here for the twins?" The other person said something, but I don't know who or what was said. "Max? She doesn't talk to boys. Max! Someone named Nick is here to talk to you!" I ran down the stairs. "Fang?" He grinned a little at me, and I growled and glared. "What, here for your girlfriend? She's upstairs with my wonderful step-sisters. Go ahead." "No, Max, I'm here to talk to you." I just snarled back, "Well, in that case, no. Get out before I call Ella down." He looked scared. "I'm not leaving until you let me explain. "Fine," I said, and walked upstairs. He started to follow me. "Did I tell you to follow me?" I asked. He shrugged. "ELLA! YOUR BOYFRIEND IS HERE!" I screamed, and then sprinted into my room, locking the door. I heard Ella saying something. Fang replied, "No, not right now. Go away." He started to pound on the door, and I turned on Suicide Silence. O.C.D. started to blare out of the speakers, and I ignored the pounding on the doow. There was no way I was letting him anywhere near me.
I heard my stomach growl about a half hour later. I unlocked the door and threw the door open. Fang was standing there. I shoved past him and rushed into the dining room. Anne was there with her date, who was named John, I learned. I loaded my plate up and sat at the table with the twins, Ella, Anne, and John. I'd rather be in my room, but I figure that Fang wasn't going to sit near Ella. He walked down the stairs.
Anne asked, "Nick? Do you want some dinner?" He nodded and got a plate. After he got his food, he looked for a seat. The only seat was in between Ella and Lissa. I smirked at him.
Fang POV:
I don't know how to explain to Max what happened between Ella and I. Nothing happened, but Max didn't believe me. As I sat through the torture of being in between Ella and Lissa at dinner, I thought of some plans. Maybe I could sing to her again. No, that annoying voice in my head said, Max wouldn't want you to try and prove yourself through a song, again. You're lucky she was okay with it the first time, but there's no way you could make her believe you by repeating the past. I knew it was true. I guess there's only one other thing to do: Make Max jealous.
A/N: Sorry it was so short! I thought I'd actually tell you his plan this time. Do you think it will work? I know if it will or won't, but I don't want to ruin it for you.
Last chapter's SOTC: Don't Wish-Tonight Alive
This song's SOTC:
I'll admit I was wrong about everything I'm not strong enough for the both of us Please just stay
Cause I'm high and I don't wanna come down
All the fun that we had on your mothers couch,
I don't even wanna think about
What was I supposed to do
You know I love you
Whoa-oh
Stay
I hope you enjoyed it!
