So, Stefan walked me home. It wasn't that special, so I don't know what to tell you. We walked, one beside the other

on the sidewalk. I bumped into him and blushed when a lady and her son walked by. He smiled at me. And then we

we're at my house. The miseries of living close to school. We walked up the steps and across the big blue porch. I

looked over at the bench sitting at the far end of the porch, swinging lightly in the wind. A sudden burst of courage

and idiocy made me speak: "Stefan, would you like to stay for dinner?" He smiled, "As much as I'd love to, I must be

elsewhere today." He must have seen a frown on my face because he continued, "But how about we get together on

another day?" I smiled and must have blushed because Stefan brushed his fingers, oh so lightly, across my cheek;

which made me blush more. He said goodbye and then he was gone. I opened the door and walked inside. Closing the

door behind me and ran up to my room and looked out the window to see if I could see him walking down the street,

but he wasn't there. "Odd." I thought. I shrugged and walked to my bed, laying down on my back. "Elena, supper!"

called my brother from the bottom of the stairs. I got up with a sigh. There goes relaxing. I walked downstairs and to

the kitchen. Aunt Jenna was standing in front of the kitchen counter cutting up some fruit and Jeremy was putting

places on the table. "What's for supper" I asked walking in to find something to help with. She looked up at me and

smiled, replying: "Pancakes." I laughed. She continued, "I had no effort in making food, seeing as we are going out

later." I frowned. "The Founders Day Party is tonight... And Aunt Jenna got invited by Mr. Saltzman." Jeremy said. I

laughed as Jenna hit him with the rolling pin. I sat at the table and played with my fork. Jenna came to the table with a

fruit salad. She placed it in front of me. "And Stefan told me that he was going to be there, so you had to be." she said

then walked back to the kitchen. I must have been blushing because Jeremy came to the table and sat across from

me, saying: "Ooh, Elena's blushing". I threw a grape at his face and he laughed. We ate in silence and then cleaned

up and went to our own rooms to get ready to leave.
