I had a million thoughts running through my head, but only one of them seemed important. "Why the hell is she here?!" James sighed closing the fridge taking out a can of Coke. He tossed it to Carlos who caught it gracefully and then jumped up on the counter by the stove. The three of us were standing around the kitchen, just staring at each other. James knew why this was a problem. Yet did nothing to stop it. "James I don't know if you realize this, but that's my ex-girlfriend, and my current girlfriend out there. Do you know how awkward it's going to be?"
"Dude…calm down. It's one night. Tomorrow morning her boyfriend is picking her up and then we have three days without her. I think you can deal." I frowned crossing my arms over my chest and glanced over at Carlos who looked amused more than anything. "Besides…Anna is a classy chick. She won't start anything, and Camille and Sam and Katie can be the girls buffer." I swallowed hard hearing girl giggles from the living room, coming closer. I turned to the door and watched Camille and Sam walk in, arms linked. Sam walked to Carlos, standing between his legs. He kissed her forehead gently making me sick to my stomach and turn back to James. Camille got right next to me and sighed out also crossing her arms over her chest.
"Well…we made Logan and Katie stay out there with them but…I don't know. If Anna doesn't stay or do something mean to Jo…I might." I glared down at her making her smile and shrug. "We've never gotten along so thanks for that James…" He sighed pushing off the counter was leaning on and stared between all of us.
"She's staying. Get over it." He rushed out of the kitchen, making me follow.
I stepped into the living room and locked eyes with Anna who jumped up from the couch fast and put on a fake smile. "Hey…we were just thinking…of hiking down to the lake? Go for a swim?"
