Valerie's POV
This has become quiet boring just floating here. I keep going through every memory and can find none where that man appears and tells me about the profeccy. I try to wake up, and I still can't. I need to get out of here!
Puck's POV
Lily's still sitting in front of me crying and I keep trying to ask her what's wrong but she wont talk to me. "Lily tell me why you're crying or I'll leave without you." Her head snaps up and she slaps me across the face. "I know I was rude but I cant do anything unless you tell me whats wrong" she tries to stop crying and I finally think I realize why she was crying.
Ethan's POV
Its been nine hours and I am right around the corner. I pull up to her house and grab my bag. And remember the last time I was here. I was trying to convince her parents to let her come back to Louisiana with me to meet my parents, they didnt like me from the start so it was difficult. They finally said no and kicked me out of the house. Paige cried and I told her not to and that I would see her again soon but her father came in and yelled at me saying I wasn't good enough for her and that I was worthless. I had to leave but we defied her parents and still dated and I swore to her I'd get her out of there one day.
Today was that day, I had called her while I was on the road and told her happy birthday. It was her 18th birthday and in a month it will be my 19th. I would finally be able to take her away from here. Her father beat her every time he found out we talked. Her mother told her she was a whore. I was done. I got a job and saved up as much money as I could to buy the thing thats in this little box. And I was finally gonna use it today.
I walked up to her doorstep and knocked loudly. Her father answered. "What the hell are you doing here boy? I told you to leave my daughter alone!" He yelled trying to scare me off. "I'm here for your daughter, today is her 18th birthday and she can leave with me now" I said calmly. "She's not going anywhere with you!" He screamed and slammed the door. I walked around her house to the window and threw a few sticks at it. She opened the window and she said "ethan? What are you doing here, oh my god." She smiled so wide. "Pack your bags, were going." She then rushed back into the house and I heard her start getting things together. She threw her suitcase out the window and climbed out her first floor window. She started to fall a bit and I rushed over and caught her.
She hugged me tight around the neck and whispered "I missed you so much" I held her tighter and placed her down on the ground. She looked up at me and kissed me. My head started to feel dizzy and I felt like this wasn't even real. She stopped and picked up her suitcase. "Come on, lets go!" She said and grabbed my hand. She pulled me back to my truck and I put her luggage in the back. I opened the door for her and said nervously "I have a question to ask you paige" she looked at me puzzled and said "yes ethan?" I reached into my pocket and said "I-i know this is k-kind of sudden but w-will you do me the honor of becoming my wife paige?" I got down on my knee and opened up the box.
Paige's POV
My head was spinning. Ethan just asked me to marry him! I felt tears forming in my eyes and I looked at the ring. It was probably his entire savings but I knew he didnt care. It was my favorite color. It was a black band with three small blue diamonds on top. I started crying and said "Yes! Yes! Of course!" He slipped the ring on my finger and I hugged him tightly. He kissed me with a passion and I kept crying. "I love you so much paige" he whispered. "I love you so much ethan" I whispered back.
Lily's POV
I try to stop crying but the tears keep coming out. Why does he have to be with her? I curl up into an even tighter ball and finally stop crying. "Lily" Puck says for the hundredth time. I look up just a bit and see him moving closer. He lifts my chin and says to me "you love me don't you?" I got up and tried to walk away but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back. I lost my balance and fell down on top of him. "You don't love me though" I said and tried to get up. But he wrapped his arms around me and said "Lily, I love you." I looked at him with shock. He leaned up and kissed me. For a moment I didnt kiss back but I finally did and it made me breathless.
A voice startled us and we broke apart. It was a man in a cloak. "Who are you?" I said. He didnt answer. We waited a moment and he finally spoke. "The one who you shall steal for will be your destroyer. The one you truly seek is right beside you. The profeccy is not for you Robin. It is for kerrian, first son of Meghan & Ash Tallyn. "What?!" We both yelled.
