Sasuke kicked it open "Manners Sasuke." He heard Hiro say with his back towards him, he was reading or writing, honestly he didn't care what he was doing "Let's talk."
"Not interested, thank you though." Dan knew why he was here; after all he knew Sasuke wouldn't have the patience for a week.
"I didn't ask." He could hear Keiji growl. Dan stood up and turned around to face him.
Both knew better that to be mentioning anything about what they had talked about. If anything Orochimaru had this place wired and if it involved Hinata or anyone he cared about he didn't want him to find out.
But now that he thinks about it, Orochimaru knew of Hinata' pregnancy before him. How? How does Orochimaru know everything that's going on in the village?
Hiro is from Konoha, plus the headband is a dead giveaway, so is he a spy from the village? I mean Jiraya knew him. His gut told him he wasn't though. Then why was he here? Is there a rat in Konoha and in Suna?
"Let's talk then." He knew Sasuke wouldn't stab him so he grabs a little control from his desk and pressed it "EMI, it interferes with the signals if there are any wires and or cameras and I'll allow for us to talk without Orochimaru hearing."
"So talk."
Dan looked at Sasuke "My real name is Dan Katō. I was a shinobi from Konoha. I chose to leave. I had to leave." Dan offered him a seat, Sasuke took it because they would be talking for a while.
"It was during the war, when Orochimaru betrayed the village. He had gain the trust of the Sound and had become their new leader and with that being said they attacked Konoha and wanted to overthrow Sarutobi. At that time Tsunade and I-"
"Tsunade-"
I guess he should have mentioned her first "She was my girlfriend at the time and she's currently Hinata' private nurse for her pregnancy. Anyway Orochimaru decided to take it personal and go after Tsunade."
Just thinking about it made him continue with his mission. Sasuke could see that it was hard. Guess there was more to him that met the eye.
"He tried ending Tsunade' life because she the granddaughter of the first Hokage. But of course Tsunade doesn't go down so easy. We both put a fight but-"

*Flashback*
"TsuTsu!" Tsunade looked back to see her younger brother run Kunai in hand towards her.
"Nawaki get out of here!" she yelled but as she was about to cover him from a sound shinobi heading his way, when…

"He stepped in a landmine." Dan finished "Next thing I remember was her screaming and crying and then…darkness. I had been out for about two days but in those two days was when I had overheard what was going on with Tsunade."
Sasuke didn't know what to say so he just listened.
"Seeing Nawaki' death was too much, her body went into a coma. She's was stable but when I overheard one of the nurses she was more worried about me because she said I could have permanent memory loss. So I took that as an opportunity to be where I am today."
"You left Konoha to revenge Nawaki?"
"I left because if I wouldn't have; Tsunade would have been dead. Within days of waking up Orochimaru had given me a visit."
…
"Ssseemsss as though you are finally awake."
"Who are you? Are you the doctor?" Orochimaru couldn't help but look at the file they had on him and smile "Ssso he hasss amnesia?" he thought "Thisss might work for me."
"Yesss, the doctor. What do you remember Hiro?" Orochimaru asked as he had given him his new name.
"I'm not sure, my head is throbbing and all I could remember was seeing you in a battle."
"Hmm-" so he had lost his memory and if he only remembered seeing him. He could defiantly use this to his advantage.
"Hiro is that my name?" Orochimaru smiled and nodded "That's your name. You are actually a shinobi of mine. You betrayed this village and in a few minutes I will be fighting a few shinobi, do not fight them, fight me and in the end you'll come with me."
"I understand Lord Orochimaru."

"He told me I betrayed the village because they had killed my brother, he was talking about Nawaki. He told me he was my brother was shot by one of the shinobi."
Orochimaru was one sick snake, twisting everything around to benefit him.
"Next thing I knew Orochimaru was fighting a few shinobi and I did what was told, I pretended to fight him. As much as I wanted to kill him right there and then I fought him and that was when he killed the three shinobi and knocked me out cold. Next thing I knew I woke up in the border of the Oto village, and said he was going to kill me."
Sasuke couldn't help but raise an eyebrow "What?"

"You are a wanted criminal now Hiro, you need to die." Dan couldn't go back now "-well at least people have to think you're dead."
…
"He had found a body that was a perfect match to mine. You could say he was my doppelganger from another village."
"All he needed was blood, and a lot of it. He had injected me with something that allowed me too loose blood and stay alive."
"The man was unconscious-" Sasuke could see Dan face "- the way he killed the man, those images will forever haunt me at night."

Itachi was currently sitting outside, with a cup of tea that Hinata had prepared for him when he heard the patio door open and close "Itachi-"
Itachi knew it was only a matter of time before Gaara would want to talk to him "You don't have to ask if we could talk, we are in your house Lord Kazekage."
He wasn't here to tell him that he hated Sasuke that he would bring him back; because honestly it's best this way. He wasn't going to tell him/or rather threated him that if he ever hurt Hinata he would have his head because the look Itachi had given Hinata on Sunday was the look of someone who truly missed her and cared for her.
"She's told me so much about you." Itachi looked back at him "How you saved her and how you've always been there for her."
"She deserves someone who can give her anything she wants. You're a good man Gaara and I know you wouldn't hurt her. I've seen how you look at you and I've seen how she looks at you."
Gaara didn't know what else to say but a simple "Thank you." Itachi knew that Gaara wouldn't let anything or anyone hurt Hinata. Hinata also needs to be happy and Gaara was making a fine job of doing that.
Hinata made her way back to the back where she figured Itachi was, since he's not much of a people person. She slid the door to see both Gaara and Itachi outside "Oh d-did I interrupt anything?"
Gaara shook his head "No, I was just heading inside. Did Kankuro show you your room, Itachi?"
Itachi stood up and nodded "He did, thank you." Hinata couldn't help but wonder if they 'talked' did they argue? Did they fight?
Gaara walked past her and looked down at her "We were simply talking, nothing to worry about." He could read her like a book "Oh, okay."
"I'll see you inside." she nodded and saw as he went inside and closed the door behind. Hinata smiled as she walked towards Itachi "How do you like Suna so far?"
"The weather has been nice and I've enjoined the food and company." Hinata looked at Itachi "Um, Itachi if you don't m-mind me asking, where have you been staying?"
"My house." Right they did have a house in Konoha "All by yourself?"
"It's quite but-" Hinata couldn't help but tear up. Over all it's her pregnancy and having Itachi back that made her emotional and just hearing him say that he's been staying alone made her feel bad for him.
"Itachi, y-you've been living alone?"
"Don't cry-" Itachi couldn't help but feel bad but added as he wiped the tears"-your father told me I could stay at your house." Hinata sniffled and looked at him "Will you?"
He didn't want to upset her and he would be spending more time with her "I told him yes." Hinata hugged him. Itachi hugged her back "Let's go inside."
The night had been relaxing, after a homemade chicken and berry salad made by Hinata, Tsunade and Temari' help and small talk everyone was simply enjoying each other's company.
Shikamaru was sitting on the couch with his arm around a now better Temari, Kankuro searching for a movie to watch and a frustrated Gaara. Hiashi alongside Jiraya and Tsunade were still in the kitchen talking about the old times. Gaara and Hanabi were talking; well she was asking most of the questions.
Hinata rubbed her eyes "You should rest." Itachi bent down and told her "-you've had a long day." he was right "Yeah."
"Oh and when you're ready to go back to Konoha, let me know I'll be more than happy to take you back."
She headed over to the kitchen "Sorry to interrupt, I'm here to say goodnight."
All three said their goodnights to her and she made her way to the living room "Heading to bed already?" Kankuro smiled "Yes, good night everyone."
In union they said goodnight. She made her way upstairs and was getting ready when she heard a knock "Hanabi?" she called out and opened the door to see Gaara "Oh, Gaara is something wrong?"
"No, I just came to say goodnight." Hinata smiled at him and grabbed him by the hand and pulled him in "You can come in." he didn't feel uncomfortable, caught off guard but not uncomfortable.
"How was your day?" Gaara asked as he took a seat on the bed facing the bathroom. Hinata headed to the bathroom to finish brushing her hair, she faced towards the bed, she smiled "It was nice and catching up with Itachi was great. I'm going to miss Suna."
Gaara stood up "Miss?" he walked towards her, only to have Hinata lean back on the counter, her hair over her shoulders "I'm only here until tomorrow night, I've been here over a week and don't get me wrong, I've loved every day and night here but-"
Gaara was leaning against the frame of the door, looking down at her "-I miss my friends. I miss spending time with them. Don't get me w-wrong I love spending time with you-"
He didn't want to upset her, making it sound like he didn't want her to leave, I mean he didn't want her to leave but he knew that this day would come, it was just too soon.
"Hinata-" he rested his hands gently on her shoulders "-you don't have to explain yourself. I'm just going to miss you that's all."
Hinata smiled "You still have a full day with me tomorrow." He nodded retrieving his hands back, "Itachi is a nice guy."
"I bet he is."
"You'll have to learn to like him if I ever come live here."
Gaara smiled "I love him already." she laughed "You know-" she tied up her braid and with his help she sat on the counter near the sink "- It's not a for sure thing but I've actually thought about living here after the baby is born."
"Why after? I mean-" Hinata grabbed his hand "If I were to move here for my whole pregnancy, it wouldn't be fair for them, they're like family." He knew she was referring to Naruto and all of them.
"I understand. So how long have you thought about living here?"
"A few days after coming here-" So it's been a while. "-after everything that has happened I want a fresh start."
"You deserve a fresh start." He corrected her "-you know how I feel about you and whatever you decided I'll be there one hundred percent." Hinata couldn't help herself and pretty much launched herself at him, of course he caught her "Thank you, Gaara."
"You should probably rest now." she stepped down and nodded "Yeah-"
"Hinata?" they heard Hanabi' voice "In the bathroom."
Hanabi popped her head inside but she was covering her eyes "Hinata, do you think I could sleep with you tonight?"
"Of course." Hanabi looked at Gaara "Unless-"
"Good night Hanabi" Gaara told her before she finished what she was about to say "Night." He looked back at Hinata "Sleep well." Hinata smiled stood on her tippy toes and gave him a quick kiss on the cheeks "You too."
Hanabi couldn't help but smile and feel really happy for Hinata.
After talking about what has happened in Konoha, minus the sad things like Tenten' mother's death and Sakura cheating on Naruto she told her how Kiba met a girl who was totally apposite to him because she's a cat person "-yet somehow they make it work. I'm surprised Akamaru hasn't tried to eat one."
Hinata smiled "They told me to tell you that hope you're having fun and-"
"I'm heading back to Konoha tomorrow."
Hanabi frown "but we just got here."
Hinata shook her head "No, I'm not telling you to leave Suna, you and dad just got here so have some fun. Itachi told me when I wanted to head back to tell him, I'm going to tell him tomorrow morning."
"Oh okay, well I don't think dad and I will be staying too long. A day or two more at the most."
After a few Konohamaru stories, both began to get very sleepy and soon both fell asleep.
She couldn't sleep, so she was currently outside with a glass of sake "Couldn't sleep?" Tsunade heard Jiraya' voice, sitting by the pool she nodded "Yeah, you?"
"Same." After their kiss and their talk, he's had a lot on his mind and having her here didn't help either. He wanted her; heck he needed her but at the same time he didn't want to scare her off.
Tsunade saw Jiraya take a seat next to her, and couldn't help but notice he only had shorts on, she tried to look away but his body got the best of her "Don't you own any shirts?"
"It's sleeping, didn't want to wake it up." he always had stupid comments.
"Jiraya-" she set her glass of sake on the table and swallowing the huge lump in her throat she said
"About what we talked the other day-"
"What about it?" he said as he looked at her.
"I don't-" there it was the 'I don't feel the same way about you' "Maybe we should leave things alone-"
Tsunade looked confused "Maybe this-" he sighed "-us, wasn't meant to be." It hurt him saying it.
Tsunade could see that just saying what he had said was hard for him. He truly did care for her. She couldn't help but tear up "Jiraya-"
"But that wouldn't mean I won't be there for you, whenever you need me." damn love was a bitch.
Tsunade stood up "Will you shut up Jiraya-" he was caught off guard with that "I wasn't going to say that I didn't feel the same way about you, you jerk. I was going to say that I don't know how it happened but that I-" he stood up, making them stand a few feet apart "-I fell for you. I care about you. You've always been there for me and-"
Jiraya was listening to what she was saying "-frankly it's been a while since I've had sex-" Jiraya face flushed as she said that but then again it's been a while for him too.
"I don't want just sex from you; I want to be able to wake to you every morning-"
He stopped her by bending down and kissing her, she quickly responded by wrapping her arms around his neck. She let her hands roam his back, feeling every muscle he had and didn't even know excited.
Her hands were now on his chest, roaming down to his V-line when she bit his bottom lip which made him pull away, both out of breath Jiraya took her in his arms and whispered in her ear "Tsunade will you be my girlfriend?" Tsunade hugged him, loving this moment right here "Yes."

Morning was here and everyone was in a good mood was now making breakfast. That is until Hinata mentioned that she was leaving in a few hours (noon to be exact)
"So soon?" Temari couldn't help but frown "I'll visit again, I promise." she smiled "I love it here but I've been a little homesick that's all."
Hinata looked at her dad "I don't want you leave because of me. Stay and enjoy it here." Hiashi smiled at her "Who's leaving with you?"
"Me." Itachi told him "I've got a few things I need to do back in Konoha."
"Yeah it's time for me to head back as well-" Tsunade chimed it "-I've enjoined my days here but where Hinata goes, I go. Plus I've missed that loud mouth Naruto."
Temari looked at Shikamaru "I'm not going anywhere I still have two days left. Unless they need me." she smiled, at least she still had him.
"Wish I could stay more but I've also got a few things to talk about with Naruto so I'll be heading back too."
"With Naruto?" Hinata asked him. Jiraya nodded "Long story short, I'm his Godfather. I haven't been there for him for the past few years but-" he looked at Tsunade "-I've decided to finally settle in back in Konoha with Tsunade and plan to get to know Naruto, hopefully it's not too late."
"Are you dating?" Hanabi asked Tsunade "Yes." She said happily.
"Oh Lady Tsunade I'm so happy for you!"
"Thank you, it was about time he asked, right?" Hanabi nodded "Hey! I-"
"Leave it alone, Jiraya, if you want to live." Shikamaru commented.
"Ah, women." He said agreeing with the lazy Shikamaru.
"It's not too late Jiraya. He'll understand and accept you." Hinata smiled at him "He's adjusted well to Tsunade and being that you two are together now, congratulations by the way-" Tsunade smiled and mouthed a thank you "-he'll have a family once more."
"You'll just have to pay up for all those years in ramen." Shikamaru commented. Hinata giggled at that because that was defiantly true.

She was now packing her things when she heard a knock "Need help?" she smiled back at Gaara
"Please." He took he suitcase and both made their way outside "I'm won't say I won't miss you because I will but I know you'll visit soon."
"I will. I'll miss you too Gaara."
After putting everything in Itachi red 2016 Terrain Denali, and opened the door for the dogs to get in he looked at her "Text me when you get there."
"I will." She hugged him goodbye. He opened the door for her and she got it "Drive safe."
"Thank you for your hospitality, Lord Kazekage."
"Anytime."
On the drive home Itachi and Hinata were pretty quiet, enjoying the drive "I approve of him."
"Huh?"
"He's a good man." she knew he was talking about Gaara "-I've seen how he looks at you."
"Thank you."
They arrived in Konoha at around three o'clock, both parked in the streets "So where does Naruto live?" Jiraya asked getting of the truck "Wow never heard you so eager to see your godson."
"I'm nervous, not going to lie."
"He'll be coming once he finds out Hinata' back, trust me." Tsunade said "-but maybe you should rest first before he takes you out and about?"
"I'm not tired though."
"You idiot I was talking to Hinata." she said "I'm fine; he's less hyper when he's near me because of the pregnancy."
Hinata took out her phone and sent the quick 'I'm home' text to Gaara and within a minute or so he had replied 'Okay, hope to see you soon.'
Once Tsunade unlocked the door she yelled "We're back!" quickly they heard steps coming from upstairs "They're back! They're back!"
They could hear Tenten' voice come from upstairs "Hinata!" Hinata smiled as she saw her come down the stairs as if the ice cream truck was outside "Oh Hinata!"
"Hi Tenten-" Tenten quickly hugged her "You have no idea how much I've missed you!"
"I've missed you too." she said as she hugged her best friend. It felt good to see her, to hear her voice.
"How are you?" Hinata asked as she pulled away from the hug. Tenten knew she would have to tell her at one point but maybe it was best if she didn't know "I've missed you for sure. How was Suna?"
"Don't I get a hug?" she heard Neji voice comes from behind Tenten. Tenten stepped aside and Hinata hugged him "Did you have fun?"
"I did."
"Well don't mind us, we'll be heading over to Ichiraku to find us a blonde knucklehead, who so happens to be Jiraya' godson."
"What, really?" Tenten asked while Neji couldn't help but look at Jiraya, a well-known shinobi; heck he's a Sanin so this was big.
"Don't wait up." Jiraya told them as he dragged Tsunade by the hand.
It felt good being back. Neji looked back at Tenten, Tenten looked down. Hinata knew something was wrong "Did something happened while I was gone?" Hinata looked at Tenten, who was currently trying to look brave.
"Kyoko, she-" Neji couldn't finish "She passed away." Tenten let the tears fall "No-" Hinata hugged her, her own tears falling "I'm so sorry." Itachi looked at them "I'm sorry for your lose Tenten."
"Why didn't you call me, I-I could have been here for you." Hinata cried.
"I didn't want you to worry; I wanted you to enjoy your time in Suna because you've gone through so much yourself."
Both girls cried in the sofa, Itachi was currently pouring tea for them.
"It's been hard but Neji' been here with me."
"You know you're not alone."
"I know, thank you for everything you and your family have done for me."
"Neji asked your dad if I could live here for a while."
"Oh Ten, that's wonderful."
Hinata knew it was hard on Tenten. "Itachi will be staying here, as well."
"Really?"
Itachi looked at Neji, who were currently in the kitchen "She's a strong girl." Neji nodded "I tell her all the time that she doesn't have to be strong by herself but that's her personality."
"So Itachi I hear you will be staying here?"
"I want to be able to spend time with Hinata."
Tenten then thought about it "So if Tsunade is staying here too, does that mean Jiraya is staying here too?"
"Maybe." Don't get it wrong she would love for all of them to stay, rooms were not an issue. But Jiraya had said that he wanted to settle in, so her guess was that he wanted a house or apartment of his own.
Neji wrapped his arm around Tenten waist and looked at Hinata and Itachi "You hungry?"
"Yes." Hinata smiled "Well it's a good thing we already have the things ready for tacos!" Tenten smiled.

Naruto quickly put his shoes on "Hinata' back!" Iruka smiled seeing Naruto smile once again, it had been a little over a week now since he had called it off with Sakura. Iruka knew the pain of losing someone he cared about but he now had Hana back, "Tell her I say hello."
"I will. Come on Kyuubi!" he called to his now full grown red fox, as ran out the door. Iruka let out a sigh as he headed back to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
He didn't even bother on driving there, Hinata' house was only a three blocks away. He ran the doorbell and waited. As expected Hinata opened the door and he couldn't help but hug her "I missed you!"
Hinata smiled and hugged him back "It's good to see you too, Naruto." He released her from his hug and smiled down at her "Come in." of course he did, Kyuubi right behind him.
"Hi to you too Kyuubi-" Hinata smiled as he nudged her belly gently.
Hinata couldn't wait to see everyone else tomorrow.
"You have no idea how much I missed you." Naruto told her again. Hinata smiled "Suna is beautiful at this time; you and Sakura should have gone for a few days." Naruto smiled sadly "I uh kind of broke up with her."
Hinata hugged him "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know."
He hugged her back "It's fine." he knew Hinata worried about him, that's what he loved about her.
"Are you okay?" she asked looking into his blue eyes "I'm better." Hinata knew it wasn't her business to ask what happened so she didn't ask, if he wanted to tell her that would be up to him.
Naruto then realized there were other people in the room "Hey guys."
Tenten knew what he was going through so it wasn't her business to tell Hinata "Hey Naruto."
Hinata knew Naruto would want his alone time with her "Would you like to go for a walk?" she asked him, he smiled and nodded "I'd like that."
"Hurry back, were making tacos okay," Tenten told them.
He opened the door for her and both began to walk and Hinata knew he'd talk when he was ready.
Naruto took a deep breath and looked down at her "She cheated on me-" Naruto felt her hand on his forearm.
"-after everything I've done for her, she just sees past that and screws another guy."
Hinata stopped him and looked at him "The sad part is that I still like her but-"
"Everyone deserves a second chance but you're risking getting hurt again." she told him "I don't want to see you get hurt again Naruto."
Naruto smiled and swallowed the lump in his throat, "It's just hard letting go of someone you care about"
"I know the feeling." She told him.
"Sorry I didn't mean-" he felt like an idiot saying that, after what she went through with Sasuke.
"It's fine Naruto. Letting go of him was the best thing for us." He knew she was talking about her and the baby.
"Listen Naruto I'm not telling you this because I think Sakura deserves a second chance. What she did was wrong but if you'd like to give her a second chance who am I to stop you? I just want you to be happy."
Naruto smiled "Thanks Hinata." he wasn't sure if she deserved one but they needed to talk, that's for sure.
"I'm living with Iruka now." he tried to change the subject into something more pleasant. Hinata smiled at that "Really?" she knew it had to do with Sakura but she was just happy to hear that he won't be living alone anymore.
"He says hello by the way."
"If you don't mind, I'd like to stop by the place?"
"Sure-" he smiled and Hinata then wondered "Did you see Lady Tsunade this evening?"
Naruto thought about it "Yes, she was with some white haired guy. I wanted to ask about you but then they kind of saw me and turned the other way."
Hinata tried not to laugh, her guess was Jiraya got nervous and dragged her along.
"But then I figured if she was here so where you so I went home, took a shower and went to your house."
They were about half a block away from Iruka' place when Naruto stopped and Hinata saw why. Sakura was walking towards his direction. Hinata saw Sakura walking in this direction, she was on the phone "He's not picking up-" then she looked straight ahead and finished "-I'll call you back Ino."
"Hey Hinata." Hinata smiled and said hello. Don't get it wrong, she had no problem with Sakura but just knowing that she had caused Naruto pain made her feel a bit of anger towards her.
By now Sakura figured that Hinata knew about what she did, because after all Naruto and Hinata have a special bond in which they knew everything about each other, they are best friends.
"How was Suna?" Hinata smiled "It was nice." Sakura could not feel anymore awkward. She wanted to talk to Naruto; she needed to tell him she was sorry.
Kyuubi couldn't help but pace around and cry. Kyuubi could feel his father (Yes, Kyuubi saw Naruto as the father and mother he never had) tense body and knew it had to do with the girl who had been in the apartment a few days ago.
He made his way over to her and tried to pull and or push her away.
Sakura was currently tried to get Kyuubi to stop but it was no use, he kept grabbing her by her jeans.
Naruto knew Kyuubi meant well "Come here Kyuubi." He listened. Hinata looked at Sakura and smiled "I c-could leave if you need to talk-"
Sakura wanted to say yes but Naruto beat her to it "No, if you need to say anything you can say it right here."
Sakura took a deep breath "I'm sorry-" she swallowed "-for causing you…for cheating on you. I still care about you and-"
Hinata was currently behind Naruto, holding on to his shirt. He didn't want her to leave and of course she wasn't going anywhere but she did hide behind him holding on to him, letting him know that she was here for him.
Naruto shook his head "I honestly don't know if I could give you a second chance-" Hinata could hear the pain in his voice "-you hurt me Sakura. I never thought I'd say this but…I cant look at you the same way. I would say I'd like us to remain friends but it's going to take time to forgive and forget."
Sakura nodded, "I get it. I wish you nothing happiness Naruto." it hurt but he was right "Goodbye Sakura."
With tears in her eyes and pain in her heart Sakura said "Bye Naruto." Hinata saw Sakura walk past both of them wiping her eyes. Hinata walked to face Naruto and hugged him, he didn't say anything and neither did she.
She just hugged him and he hugged her. After a while Naruto smiled down at her "Come on, I think Iruka would love to see you."
Naruto opened the door and called out "I'm home."
"What took you? Dinner' been ready for-" he smiled "Hinata!"
"Hello Iruka." Hinata greeted him, after a quick hug he looked down at her "You look great."
"Thank you."
"Have you eaten dinner already Hinata?" she nodded "I have, thank you." Iruka looked at Naruto
"Someone is here to see you Naruto." Naruto furrowed his brows but before he asked Jiraya stepped out from the kitchen "Hello Naruto."
Naruto looked at the man and couldn't help but feel like he's seen him before but where? Then it clicked!
"Name's Jiraya-"
"You're a pervert!" Naruto yelled as he pointed at him.
"Naruto!" Iruka yelled.
"I'm a what?!" Jiraya couldn't help but yell.
Naruto stood in front of Hinata "I knew I've seen you somewhere. A few months ago you were in front of the women bath house-" Jiraya then remembered "-you said you were doing research!"
Hinata couldn't help but blush at that comment. Tsunade had mentioned that Jiraya was an odd ball but-
"You idiot-" he furrowed his brows "-I was looking for you!"
"That doesn't sound any better!" Naruto told him. Jiraya furrowed "Hey that was the old me, I've moved on from doing uh-"
"From being a perv?" Naruto asked.
"Stop calling me that!" he cleared his throat "Listen Naruto." he rubbed the back of his neck "I want to tell you that-" it was nerve wrecking because he called him a perv; so first impression was out the window, the cool godfather was no more, shit he didn't even have a chance to be the cool godfather.
"I'm your godfather." Naruto furrowed his brows "Huh?"
"When you were born, your father asked me if I wanted to be your godfather." Jiraya looked at Naruto
"And watching you grow into the man you are now is something both your parents would be proud of."
"You knew my parents?"
"I did." He said he could see the blonde smile but then frowned "And it took you 22 years to come and find me!"
"Whoa, hey I'd come every month or so but I-" Jiraya was a bit caught off guard by his outburst he got serious "-I just couldn't…I-"
"I'm not mad at you." Naruto could tell that he was having trouble expressing how hard it had been for him to finally approach him and be here "I'm just happy that you're here now."
Hinata couldn't be happier for both of them. Jiraya couldn't help but feel like a ton of bricks had been lifted off his shoulders.
Iruka felt happy "So are you staying in Konoha now?" Jiraya took a sip of coffee "Finally had the guts to ask Tsunade out and I'm hoping Naruto and I get to know each other."
They were now outside of Hinata' house, Naruto smiled "A lot has happened to me, huh Hinata?"
"How do you feel?"
"Good, Jiraya looks like a good man."
"He is."
"To think I have a godfather now." he couldn't help but smile "That's a lot of ramen!"
A giggle escaped Hinata "We warned him already but try not to leave him without any money, okay Naruto?"
"I will, I meant I won't." after a quick goodnight hug Naruto waited for her to get inside before he made his way back to Iruka' place.

Sasuke finally understood everything.
"I'm deep in this mission and if anybody is killing the snake-" he looked at Sasuke "-It's going to be me."
Sasuke was now confused. His mission is to kill Orochimaru from destroying the village. So does the Hokage know about Dan?
"Orochimaru is waiting for your little girlfriend to give birth to make his move." Sasuke looked at him and couldn't help but grab him by the collar of his shirt "What do you know about Hinata!"
"You need to work on controlling your little emotions. Because if you can't you'll hurt the ones you love or Orochimaru will do that for you! Trust me, I know."

Two weeks had passed since Hinata had come back from Suna. Jiraya was still in the process of inspecting the house and making an offer.
Even before asking Tsunade to be his girl, he had his eyes on this house he and the real estate agent were walking around making sure there was no damage while he was out of the village.
"How was your trip?" the women asked. Jiraya smiled "It was nice, thanks for asking Kim. Thanks again for leaving this out of the market while I was gone."
"You did give a down payment and you did the A-Okay on your credit for the mortgage so in the end it's just doing the inspection and a few paper works and within a few days you'll have the keys to your place."
Tsunade woke up looking for Jiraya but of course he was gone "That bastard." This was the seventh time. She knew better than to think that he would be cheating on her. Jiraya wasn't the kind of guy to do that. Then what the hell was he doing?
She turned to her side and smiled seeing a single rose with a piece of strawberry cake and a note that said 'Good morning beautiful, I didn't want to wake you. I'll see you soon' okay so she felt better "Where are you though?" she asked out loud.
Kim had opened the front and with a smile she looked at him "Since you had asked so nicely I took the opportunity to have someone polish the wooden floors and clean the carpets."
"Thank you again Kim." Jiraya smiled and allowed her to go in first only to hear a loud voice "Hey you perv!"
"Naruto!" he couldn't help but say under his breath "Are you cheating on granny Tsunade!"
Kim couldn't help but cover her mouth as she giggled "You idiot, I'm not cheating on Tsunade! I'm buying a house. Now would you get out of here?"
Naruto smiled "Really?" he walked past Kim "Excuse me, I want to see!" first she accused him of cheating and now he's tagging alone.
Jiraya then let Kim go inside before he entered "Naruto!"
"Oh this is a nice place, she'll love it!" Kim couldn't help but smile "Grandson?" Kim asked.
"Godson actually." He then couldn't help but smile at what he said "You really think so?"
"Are you kidding me, even I like it I don't live here." Jiraya smiled "Well actually-" Kim could feel a family thing coming "I'll be upstairs to check on the new doors." She said as she made her way up the stairs.
Jiraya looked at Naruto who was currently looking in the bathroom "-since I've lost so many years away from you-" Naruto looked back at him "-well the house has three bedrooms and if you'd like this could be your house too Naruto."
Naruto didn't say anything at first so Jiraya continued "-I know you're living at Iruka' place right now and if you want to stay there, that's fine too, just know that this will be your house too."
Naruto smiled "Thanks Jiraya-" He said it, he finally said his name and not perv "-but-"
"Just know that you wouldn't be a bother here, Tsunade likes you, you know. And I'm sorry you've been living alone all these years." He really was because he'd see him a few times coming home with a sad smile.
He knew it had to do with no one greeting him with either a hug or a 'Welcome home Naruto' it pain him to see that. Now being a house owner he wanted to change that, he wanted to give him a house where he knew he would be welcome.
Naruto couldn't help but choke up. Was this actually happening? He always saw himself living here but since Jiraya come back to the village and into his life, he's actually like his company. Naruto looked down, not wanting Jiraya to see his tears.
He clenched his fists "You think you can just offer me a home and I'll melt like butter?" Jiraya smiled at him "I want to make sure you're eating well and to spend time with you. To give you anything you want."
"I have them." Naruto looked at him, as he wiped the tears away "I mean-" Jiraya began but Naruto told him with a grin "I don't need fancy things; having you back is enough for me."
Jiraya hugged him "So what do you say?"
"I'd like that, thank you Jiraya."
This day couldn't get any better. Jiraya smiled at Naruto and with a pat on the back he said "Come on and let's check the upstairs so we can some ramen."
Apparently it just did. Naruto made his way upstairs, Jiraya right behind him.

Itachi looked at the silver haired man "Is there a reason you called me here?" Kakashi closed his book and looked at him "Kakuzu and Hidan were spotted near the Oto border."
"With?" Itachi couldn't help but ask.
"Orochimaru. It seems like they have agreed to work together."
If he knew Kakuzu, which he did he wanted his money. Kakuzu knew he himself wouldn't be able to come in and just take it.
He was only one greedy bastard he wasn't going to come and fight the whole village, he went to find Orochimaru and he knew that while Orochimaru got his hands dirty he would find the money and disappear.
"Where is it?" Kakashi set his book down "Where's the money?" Itachi knew Kakashi meant well "This is my problem Kakashi and both Hidan and Kakuzu will die by my hands and my hands only."

She had been at home with Tenten when Neji come in Kiba and Shino behind him, saying that he had found these two pacing outside like caged tigers; mostly Kiba.
"We weren't sure if you were sleeping, so we didn't want to ring the doorbell." Kiba had commented as he ran and hugged her "Augh, I missed you." Hinata hugged him "I've missed you too."
"If you don't mind, Kiba, I believe it is my time to greet Hinata." Hinata smiled as Kiba growled "I've missed you too Shino." She said as she hugged him.
Kiba couldn't help but smile as he looked down at her "You look amazing!" with a slight blush she thanked him.
"So anything new?" Hinata asked. Kiba scratched the back of his head "Actually-" he said with a smile "-I met someone."
"Really?" a smile reappeared on her face "What's her name?"
"Tamaki. I met her while I was running, she had told me she was new and well I introduced myself and offered to show her around."
"That's good." She told him. Kiba had grown so much from being rambunctious, (in a good way) short tempered and impulsive.
To a…well he's still short tempered and impulsive but hearing him talk about Tamaki she could see that he cared for her "Her grandmother past away a month ago yesterday."
"I'm sorry to hear that. How is she doing?"
"It's still a fresh wound but she's managing. She's living with her brother here in Konoha, so it looks like I'll be seeing her a lot."
"That's good."

Tsunade was currently out with Jiraya "So you're really not going to tell me where we're going right now?"
"It's a surprise." Tsunade' heart skipped a beat about how mysterious he was being.
"You're not planning on kidnapping me, right?" she teased "What do I get to do to you?" he teased her right back, she stopped and grabbed him by the collar and slightly pulled him down and whispered in his ear "Whatever you want."
She told him as she gently bit his earlobe. That got Jiraya a bit more than excited and couldn't help but clear his throat "You can't take back what you just said Tsunade." Still grabbing on to him she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
He responded to her kiss, he wrapped his arms around her waist, as they kissed he couldn't help but smile as his hands roamed down to her butt "Hmm-" she pulled back "Hey." But before she said anything he kissed her "Come on, we're almost there." He told her as he grabbed her hand.
Tsunade couldn't help but smile at Jiraya. They made their way towards the woods near the Hyuuga household.
"Okay, this is the part where I have to cover your eyes." He saw Tsunade raised an eyebrow "-okay, just close your eyes and no peeking. Promise?"
"I guess." Jiraya then thought about something and picked her up "Jiraya!" she said as she quickly opened her eyes, due to the surprise of being in his arms "I said no peeking. You promised."
"I said I guess, I didn't promise anything."
"I figured this is what women like-" he smiled; Tsunade wrapped her arms around his neck kissed him and closed her eyes "I won't peek, I promise this time."
After a while he stopped "I'm going to put you down now but don't peek."
He walked behind her and bent down and kissed her neck "J-Jiraya-" she stuttered, feeling his breath on her neck and a kiss.
"You can open your eyes now." he whispered, she opened her eyes and as Jiraya saw that she opened her eyes he said "Walla-"
"Oh-" she couldn't help but cover her mouth with one hand "Do you like it?"
"I love it, it's beautiful Jiraya!" there were string lights with lanterns the nearby trees and around a table with a white table cloth and two settings and she couldn't help but notice the candle light style lights around the floor.
Tsunade turned around and hugged him, "I love it and I love you." Jiraya smiled down at her "I love you more."
Tsunade still in his arms couldn't help but tear up "Woah, hey-" Jiraya lifted her chin and with his thumbs he began whipping the tears "-TsuTsu, baby don't cry."
Tsunade couldn't help it; she'd never thought she'd ever feel this happy again. Jiraya kissed her forehead and said "Come on-" he grabbed her hand "-foods getting cold." Tsunade whipped the rest of the tears and smiled as he pulled out her chair.
"Kyuubi-" he called out and within a few seconds the red fox come out with a pizza box on his mouth "Pizza?" Tsunade question but couldn't help but smile.
Jiraya took the box and set it down and opened of only to find out it had two missing pieces "Naruto!"
Jiraya couldn't help but say under his breath. Tsunade chuckled and grabbed a piece of pepperoni "Thank you Jiraya." Jiraya sat down and grabbed the two cold orange sodas and handed her one. They made small conversation, enjoying the nice cool evening together.

Hinata smiled as Kiba handed Hinata the chocolate cone "Here." with a smile she grabbed it and said thank you. Shino paid and all three of them went to sit down at a nearby table.
"So how many months are you right now?" Kiba wondered "I'm going on three." She told him as she touched her belly "I'm actually getting the ultra sound next week." She was so excited to finally see her baby.
"That's exciting! So when will you know the sex of the baby?" Shino asked.
"At five months." Kiba nodded as he smiled "Would you like for a little boy or girl?"
"I don't care, as long as she or he is healthy." Kiba nodded. Hinata smiled at them "Clothing for me is hard right now."
"Have you done any shopping?" she shook her head "I'm not big right now but buying clothes and later trying it on and not fitting is frustrating." She couldn't help but pout.
"Have you done any shopping?" she shook her head "No but Tenten and I are going tomorrow."
"Clothing wise, leggings are my best choice right now." Hinata commented. The night was soon taking over. Shino told him he was about to leave soon because he was meeting with his dad in the field.
"Bye Shino, thank you for the ice cream. Get home safe."
They were now making their way back to the house when Akamaru began to whine and wagged his tail, the happy kind of cry that made Kiba question who he was happy crying for because he only happy cried for Hinata and himself and sometimes Shino (if he had food.)
"Kiba?" his heart raced a bit hearing her voice.
"Tamaki? Hey, what are you doing?"
She smiled "I just came back from a job interview."
"Job interview?"
"I applied at the Pet store." he could see that, after all she likes animals, mostly cats but I'm sure they had those there.
"You heading back home?"
"Yeah, my brother called me to go check on Yukari-"
"Yukari?" Hinata' soft voice questioned.
Tamaki looked at the pretty girl who was next to Kiba.
"Are you Yamato's sister? Is she okay?" Hinata asked.
"You know my brother?" Hinata nodded. Kiba mentally shook his head "Oh sorry, Tamaki, this is Hinata."
Kiba looked at Hinata and smiled "Hinata, this is Tamaki."
"It's so nice to meet you, Kiba talks a lot about you." Hinata smiled "He's talked about you too, a lot actually."
"Oh-" Tamaki looked up at him "-does he now?"
"Is Yukari okay? You said you were going to check on her."
"She's fine, Yuki is a bit sick."
"Um, would you like to come over?"
"We don't want to intrude. And I'm sure she'll want to rest."
"You won't be intruding and I'm sure Yukari would like to catch up with you." she smiled at Hinata.
Hinata walked a few feet back from them with Akamaru and she smiled seeing Kiba smile down at Tamaki.
"I was going to text you." Kiba told her as he scratched the back of his head.
"Yet, no text." She teased him.
"Sorry, I had a family thing." something was bugging him, she stopped and grabbed his forearm and looked up at him and just for a quit second she saw a bit of anger before they went to their usual mischievous brown colored, she saw his jaw clench a bit before she closed his eyes and shrugged.
"Everything okay?" she asked with worried in her voice.
Kiba looked down at her, since she was about a foot taller than her. He clenched his jaw but she shrugged "It's nothing." He really didn't want her to be in the fire zone with his family problem.
Tamaki was a bit disappointed. She really thought they had something, where they could tell each other anything.
"Tama-" he didn't get a chance to finish because they had arrived and he couldn't help feel like he had just kicked a puppy as he saw disappointment in her light brown eyes. He screwed up.
She walked up to the front door and opened the door "Yukari, I brought visitors."
"Who?" she asked as she walked out of the kitchen "Hinata!" Yukari smiled as she hugged her. Hinata smiled as she was greeted with a warm hug.
"You look amazing." She gently led her to the living room "Take a seat, oh my god, you're glowing."
"Thanks, I've been doing well, how about you?"
"Good." She let out a heavy breath.
"You look tired."
"Yuri is sick; I've been up, so I haven't had much sleep. Yamato went to get her medicine and some soup."
Hinata looked at her "You could have called me-"
"I didn't want to trouble you."
"It's no problem. I would be more than happy to help you with Yuki. Plus, it would be good practice for me." she smiled.
Yukari nodded "Okay. I'll call you next time I promise."
"Tamaki scares me." Kiba told Tamaki, trying to make a conversation again and hopefully apologize.
Tamaki tried to brush it off "She's harmless." She told him in a flat voice as she made her way to the kitchen "I'll make tea."
Yukari smiled "Thanks." Kiba excused himself and followed her "Hey-" she opened the bottom cabinet and took out a pan, filled it with water, turned the stove and put the pan on in.
She was making herself busy so she wouldn't have to be near him; but it didn't help that he was a few feet away from her "-Tamaki-"
"Where are those damn tea bags-" she tried to sound mad and frustrated but she sounded more like she had heard news of her kitten escaping, never to be found again. She opened the top cabinet and of course they would be there "Yamato." She said under her breath.
Kiba saw her struggle as she tried to get the box of tea bags. He took a step forward and could feel her body tense a bit as he reached for it. He set it down on the counter and she turned around "Thanks."
"Look-" Kiba sighed "It's not that I don't want to tell you-"
"It's fine." She said "You don't have to explain yourself."
"I want too-" Tamaki couldn't help but feel like she had won the lottery with Kiba but it was all too familiar.
It's been a while since she's had the feeling of the butterflies fluttering in her stomach, her heart racing two times faster (like he's going to burst out of her chest) the swelling of the tongue and not being able to think straight.
"I can't do this." she pushed him away and made her way to the door that led to the back yard. He ran right behind him and stopped in front of her "Hey Tamaki-" he grabbed on to both her shoulders and looked down at her.
He could feel her body shudder a bit as she looked up at him with watery eyes. "It's just-" she let out a long shaky breath "-it's just; it's scary how fast I'm falling for you." it's scary because she's felt like this before and ended up getting hurt.
"Tamaki-" Kiba looked down at her and gently embraced her. Why did he get the feeling that she's been hurt before.
"I would never hurt you. I care about you and it's scary for me too Tamaki." she's really the only other person he truly cared about (girls wise) besides Hana and his mother and Hinata and a few others but that wasn't the point.
He cared about her, they were opposite in so many levels but they fit. She made his problem go away; she's a great listener and always knew how to make him laugh.
The last few days in the house have been nothing but absolutely nuts. His mother had gone ballistic "My father called-" his voice held sadness and those three words held so many questions. She looked up at his brown eyes which now held so anger and remorse towards a man he could barely remember.
"After 20 years, he decides to call and asks how I'm doing!" she could feel him slowly breaking down which made her heart ache so she wrapped her arms around his waist and gave him a gentle squeeze "Kiba-"
"I just-" Tamaki didn't want to see him like this anymore so she tiptoed and kissed him; she could feel his body relax a little.
Kiba felt her lips on his and he didn't hesitate to respond to her. His hands found their way to her beautiful face as he deepened the kiss and wiped the tears that had fallen earlier. After they pulled apart, he rested his forehead oh hers and smiled down at her "Thank you."
"I'll be here for you, no matter what." That did it. Kiba knew he had found the one. He gave her another squeeze and rested his head on top of her forehead.
"I don't know what I would if he ever stepped foot back here."
"Don't worry about that now."

"And Gaara hasn't asked you out yet?" Yukari asked her. Reconnecting with Hinata after these few weeks felt great; so much had happen to both.
After Tamaki' grandmother passed away, it had been hard on Tamaki. It took Yamato a few visits after the funeral to just get his sister to agree to some to Konoha.
She knew Yamato wasn't as close to his grandmother like Tamaki was and from what Yamato had told her, their grandmother never liked living in a large city. She had lived in a small house away from the city life with her cats.
"He's a busy man." Hinata smiled. Yukari took a sip of her tea and looked at Hinata "So when is the ultra sound?"
"Next week." Yukari smiled and put a hand on top of hers "Are you excited?" Hinata smiled at her "Yes."

It had been a few days that he had spoken to Hiro (Dan) and a few days since Orochimaru' been gone.

Sasuke knew he'd have to shut down his emotions completely; it should be easy for him because he's done it before. But ever since he met Hinata… he mentally smacked himself. He couldn't keep thinking of her.
"I don't love Hinata. I don't love Hinata. I don't love Hinata." he kept repeating those words in his mind. His eyes closed he heard the door open Keiji growled like he's never growled before which only meant the snake was back.
"Back so soon?"
"Did you behave?" Sasuke didn't have to worry about Orochimaru approaching him Keiji wouldn't allow that he heard him chuckle "-I have sssomthing for you." Sasuke didn't move, didn't open his eyes honestly he didn't care what it was.
He felt something hit on the bed and then the sound of the door closing. He waited five minutes before he opened his eyes to see a yellow envelope nest to him.
Did he really want to know what was inside? If he opened it and it were pictures of Hinata he would probably want to kill Orochimaru.
He took a breath and grabbed the envelope and put it in the drawer next to him. He wasn't going to fall for Orochimaru' little test. He rolled to his side and began to erase Hinata from his heart.

Hinata has now braiding her hair while having Gaara on speaker "How is the Tenzou family? Did you eat?" he asked. He's so caring, so thoughtful "They are good, they say hello and yes, I did."
"I miss you."
"I miss you too."

"I don't love Hinata." He kept repeating that in his head over and over again and would keep repeating it until he believed it himself.
Dan looked at Orochimaru "Is something troubling you Lord Orochimaru?"
"It seems like there is a rat among the sound."
"Shall I find out who it is?"
"I believe I know who it is."
Dan looked at him "Who?"

Tenten moaned "N-neji-" as he kissed her neck, their sex life was great. Although they didn't have sex every night when they did, let's just say it's the best sex ever. Today happen to be that night.
Tenten looked at him "What?" she couldn't help but blush. Neji loved seeing Tenten' body, she was toned because ever since he could remember she'd taken Taijutsu and Tae Kwon Do.
Due to her mother's death she had taken a break from it but she had promised to go back and that's exactly what she did last week.
"What?" Tenten repeated herself, she rolled her eyes at him as she was about to walk away only to have Neji grab her and kiss her.
Of course she didn't pull back, she felt his hands roam her down her back and scooped her up an "Hmm" come out of her mouth as he had both his hands on her ass.
She wrapped her arms around his neck. Neji smiled as he looked at her "God you're beautiful."

Hinata woke up with her phone chiming, she had received a message from Gaara Good morning beautiful, and how did you sleep?
She smiled Good thank you, how about you?
I would have slept better if I had had you in my arms.
Her heart throbbed as she read that and she replied Same before she headed downstairs to make a quick breakfast before she had to leave to the independent living for her therapy class.
"Good morning," Itachi greeted both Hinata and Hiashi as he entered the kitchen "Good morning, how was the run?" Hiashi asked as he handed him a bottle of water. Itachi took it and thank him "It was good."
Itachi had volunteered his afternoon to go with Hinata to the senior home independent living, where she volunteered in the dog therapy.
Itachi parked in the visitor parking lot and Hinata got out. Itachi let the dogs (Kuro, Kimi, Kira and Kilo) out. Hinata and Ai (since she was always by her side and Yuji was at home.) made their way around the building to the front entrance.
The first automatic door opened and she signed herself in along with Itachi and rang the bell. As the second door opened she was greeted by the elder women in the front desk.
"Hello Hinata."
"Hello Mei."
"The residents have been asking about you." that put a smile on her face and asked "Where's Kin?"
"She was just here-" she looked around "-I don't know."
"Will you tell her I'm here? I have to use the restroom."
"Sure" Mei nodded as she picked up the phone.
Kuro made his way towards the front, the rest following him all except Kimi. Itachi looked around "Kimi?" he called him as he looked around only to see her walk towards the parking lot.
"Kimi." Itachi called him but she didn't listen. He knew the dogs would be inside now so he went to follow his beloved Doberman.
"Dammit Zaku-" she shook her head "I saw you!" her voice held anger and sadness "I can't do this anymore." she swiped the tears with the back of her hand "I don't ever want to see you again. I'll pick my things tonight and I'm taking Okami and Pancake with me!" and with that she hung up. Kimi slowly approached her "Oh-"
"She's friendly." Itachi said only for her to turn around quickly wipe her eyes "I'm sorry." He apologized.
"It's fine." She cleared her throat "I um-" she looked at the Doberman who was looking at her with those light brown eyes "He's a beautiful Doberman." She smiled.
"Thank you." it wasn't his business but "Are you okay?"
She nodded "Yeah, I have to go." she excused herself and made her way to the back of the building.
Itachi couldn't help but wonder what had happen and who this so called Zaku is. Kimi looked up at Itachi and whined "What?" Itachi said with a raised eyebrow, Kimi only barked and made her way to the front.
Itachi rang the bell because he knew Hinata would have already signed him in. The doors opened and there she was, the girl from the parking lot who was now smiling. She looked up and their eyes locked.
They were so dark, so beautiful. And her hair he hadn't realized how long and beautiful her black hair was. She had half her hair up in a braid.
"There you are. I was a bit worried about you." with that being said Hinata looked at Kin and back at Itachi and back to Kin "Kin, this is Itachi Uchiha. Itachi this is Kin Tsuchi."
He saw her smile at him "Nice to meet you." he told her as she shook his hand, she kept her smile and told him "Likewise."
Kin then looked back at Hinata "I'm sorry again I didn't tell you earlier. I made you drive over here for nothing."
"Technically Itachi drove."
"What happened?" he looked at Kin.
"The therapy classes got cancelled." Hinata told him.
"Mei just found out herself too. Apparently a piano player is coming in today, so the classes will be next week."
"It's fine; it's not your fault. Plus you also drove here too. so we both lose." Kin chuckled at that "That's true."
"But I should have called you when Mei told me about the cancellation but something had come up. I'm sorry."
"Would you stop apologizing-" Hinata told her with a smile "-You're fine. Better question, will you join us for lunch."
Kin looked at Itachi and her eyes landed on his onyx black eyes which were staring back and oddly enough she couldn't help but be a little nervous. Plus as much as she wanted to say no this was Hinata, she couldn't say no "Sure. Let me just use the ladies room."
"We'll be outside."
"Okay."
After about 10 minutes she come out and took a deep breath "Sorry, I got held up with – it's not important." Itachi saw her eyes, they were a bit watery.
He then saw a dark gray Ford Mustang drive by only for Kin to look nervous while she looked over her shoulder. Zaku169 was the license plate number. Itachi would remember that.
"It's okay." Hinata said as she got up and walked towards her "So you want me to drop the dogs off at the Inuzuka household?"
"Please." Hinata felt uneasy "Kiba' been distant lately…he says he needs something to do and it's close to their checkup." Kin rested a hand on her "You can come with me, just give me directions."
Itachi nodded and thanked Kin after he opened the trunk door of the black Tahoe and the dogs got in.
"I'll see you both in a bit." Itachi told them.
Hinata opened the door and let Ai in to the back "Thanks for letting her tag along."
"No problem." She smiled "Pancake would like Ai if she met her."
"Pancake?" Hinata looked at Kin.
"Pancake is my 4 old month female Corgi. I just got her two weeks ago."
"I didn't know you had a dog."
"Two actually, I have a 2 year old black long haired male German Shepard named Okami."
"I hope you bring them by soon. I would like to see them."
First she had to get them back from Zaku, she just hoped he didn't put up a fight, she past about six houses when Hinata said to stop "It's the gray house, right here."
"You're house is nice Hinata." Kin said as she got out of the car.
"It's actually Itachi' house." She commented as she let Ai out.
"I thought we were going to your place?" Kin felt a bit nervous.
"Itachi offered to cook today. I hope that's okay?"
"Itachi cooks?"
"Yes."
"Wow, I would have not pictured him much of a cook."
"Itachi is full of surprises." Hinata couldn't help but smile while she said that "He makes amazing spicy cabbage soup and rice balls to go with it."
"Okay." They headed to the front and Hinata opened the door "He gave me his key." Hinata opened the door and Yuji gave a warning bark but his whole rear end shook as he saw both Ai and Hinata.
"Hey Yuji" Hinata greeted both of them but stopped as he saw a total stranger. He began sniffing her but stopped as Ai ran past him. "Come in, he's friendly." Hinata told Kin "Yuji is one out of four of Kujo' and Kimi' pups."
"So you kept all of them?" Kin said as she entered the house.
"Well Neji had bonded with Neji and his girlfriend Tenten. Yuji obviously bonded with Itachi, Ai never left my side." She said as both headed towards the family room, Hinata open the back door to let them outside, where they began to play.
"Sit down, make yourself comfortable."
"What about the fourth pup?" Kin asked. Hinata gave a sad smile "I'm not sure, I'm just hoping he's okay." She said as she headed to the kitchen to pour Kin some juice.
Kin tried changing the subject "So tell me about Itachi."
"He's single." Surprised my Hinata' comment she cleared her throat "Not what I meant."
Hinata handed her the drink and smiled "What would you like to know about Itachi?"
"Um…I don't know, I'll think of something though."
"Well when you do, just let me know." Kin jumped in surprise hearing Itachi' voice behind her "I didn't hear you come in." she said as she placed a hand over where her heart is "Nearly gave me a heart attack."
Hinata was aware that Itachi was now in the room and Kin having her back towards him Hinata smiled seeing Itachi had put a finger over his lips, motioning to stay silence as she had asked Kin "What would you like to know about Itachi." And the timing couldn't have been perfect.
"He knows CPR." Hinata teased her.
Itachi smirked as he made his way towards the patio door to let Yuji and Ai inside. Kin didn't even know what to say "It's true, I do." Itachi commented as he made his way towards the kitchen.
Kin felt her face a bit warm, she was usually good at comebacks and snappy remarks but she had nothing. She could see Itachi still smirking as he began to get the things ready to make lunch.
Watching Itachi cook was something worth watching, he looked good behind the stove.
"So how is Zaku?" Kin blinked as she looked at Hinata.
"Um, well-" she gripped on to her glass "We're-" she let out a long breath "…I broke it off."
"Oh no, I'm sorry." Hinata put a hand on hers.
Itachi stopped cutting cabbage and turned to face the girls "Are you okay?" he saw Hinata giving her a concerned look. Kin put a brave face and nodded "I'm fine." She let out a laugh "Live and learn, I guess."
Itachi turned around and finished cutting the cabbage "It's not your fault." He commented "So don't blame yourself." He could see guilt and a million questions running through those dark eyes of hers.
Hinata nodded "You can do so much better; you're a ten after all."
"Thanks Hinata. That means a lot." Her voice was soft but thankful.
"Wow, I'm surprised, foods good." Kin teased.
Itachi smiled back "Thank you."
Hinata was currently in the family room giving Yuji and Ai a rice ball each "Good, aren't they?" she smiled at them and then looked up towards the kitchen where Kin was now having small talk with Itachi.
Kin looked down "What did you mean it's not my fault?"
"I could see guilt in your eyes." He simply told her. Itachi didn't want to make her anymore upset than she already looked so he changed the subject; or at least tried too.
"I cared about him for 2 years and he cheats on me with-" her voice cracked "-my closest friend." her eyes watered and she put the back of her hand over her mouth and looked away.
"He isn't worth it." Itachi told her "He'll regret losing you." Kin looked at him and seeing those dark eyes of his, it made her nervous.
"I don't mean to interrupt but I'll be leaving in a bit" she went around and hugged Itachi "Thanks for the food." He hugged her back "Want me to take you home?"
Hinata shook her head "Naruto texted me that he's outside. He wants gelato, and I didn't think I wanted gelato until he mentioned it."
"I should get going too; I still need to get my dogs from his place." Hinata put a hand on her shoulder
"Will you be okay?"
"I will."
"Itachi you should go with her, just in case."
Kin shook her head "You don't have too, I'll be fine."
Itachi looked at Hinata who smiled; he then looked at Kin "I'll go."
"Okay, well I'll be going now." Hinata hugged him again and gave a quick hug to Kin "Text me if you want to stop by later when you get the dogs so we can have a doggy date."
"I will, enjoy your gelato." Kin smiled.

I came as soon as you texted me. What's up? You okay?" Naruto asked as he got out and looked at her "I'm fine-" she smiled at him.
He opened the door for her and gave her a questionable look "Want some Gelato?" Hinata smiled up at him as he closed the door.
"Sure." Naruto smiled heading to the driver's seat.
"Whose sexy Purple Challenger is that?" Naruto questioned her as he looked one last time through the rearview mirror.
"Her name is Kin; she volunteers at the independent living as well."
…
Both were now in the living room "Can I use your bathroom?" she couldn't help but feel nervous, especially since they were alone.
"It's just around here." he motioned around the wall "Second door."
Kin was now grabbing her wallet from the coach when Itachi asked "Where are you staying?"
"Huh?" she looked up and noticed he was closer than she thought which made her suck in a little breath.
"Earlier, I couldn't help over hear you-"
"Oh-" she knew he was talking about when she said she was getting her things "Um-" she wanted to think of something but she let out the breath she had been holding in defeat "I don't know."
Itachi walked past her and grabbed his phone from the mantel "You can always stay here."
"I couldn't." Kin told him.
"Let's get your dogs, and then you can let me know." Kin nodded but asked "Why are you doing this?"
"I want to."
"Why?" her voice was soft.
"Because, I think you've gone through enough and I wouldn't want you to worry about where you are staying for the night." Kin bit her bottom lip and didn't have time to turn around before the tears rolled down.
Itachi handed her a tissue and said "So what do you say?" she nodded "Thank you." she let the tears fall as she hugged him "Thanks you so much." Itachi was so caught up in the moment that he didn't have time to hug back as she pulled away "Sorry."
"It's okay." He wiped the last of her falling tear and told her again "Let's go get your dogs."
…
He opened the door to his black Tahoe and Kin got out he then let out Yuji out the back. They arrived at the apartments near the forest of death. They made their way to the second floor and they arrived; 2B. she knocked and the door opened
"Hey babe-" his voice was cocky "I knew you'd come back." he finished with a laugh.
"I'm here for Okami and Pancake." Her voice held anger but her voice cracked "-not for you."
Itachi was waiting in the hall, since Kin asked him too.
"They're my dogs too sweetheart, they aren't going anywhere."
"Where are they?" she could hear Pancake' cry "Pancake?" she said as she pushed Zaku around, she gasped as she saw both Okami and Pancake cramped in the medium size crate "You have them locked
up?"
"They wouldn't shut up and the little shit peed in kitchen!"
"I'm taking them!" Itachi couldn't take it anymore and entered the apartment "Who the fuck are you?"
Itachi looked at Zaku "We're taking the dogs." Itachi told him.
Pancake was now in Kin' arms' crying from happiness and Okami was just happy to be out of the crate.
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way." Itachi looked at him; his eyes were now a crimson red.
"You're not taking them!" Zaku walked over towards to Kin only to have Okami bare his teeth.
"Try to stop me Zaku, I dare you." Zaku knew he was out numbered "Get the fuck out!"
Kin handed Pancake to Itachi and made her way to what he guessed was the bedroom and his eyes focused on Zaku.
"You'll regret this." Zaku commented. Itachi didn't even bother on saying anything. He looked at Kin who had a medium suitcase "Ready?" she asked Itachi.
The pup still in his arms he nodded and opened the door "Come on Okami." The black German Shepard followed her and Itachi closed the door. Once inside the car, she was quiet. Pancake was clearly happy to be in her mom's arms. Okami was in the back seat sniffing away, smelling the Dobermans scent.
Yuji stopped seeing two new dogs "Be nice, Yuji. They'll be here for a while." Itachi took Pancake from Kin and put her down and couldn't help but smile seeing the little bundle run towards the family room.
Kin was standing in the middle of the living room when he looked at her "Kin?" he softly said her name only for her to break down, he hugged her "It's going to be okay."
