Yuffie: So now the story can get a move on?
MoC: Yep, at least untill they start visiting other worlds.
Xion: Why?
MoC: I only have a few small ideas for worlds.
Sora: That'll work.
MoC: Maybe.
Roxas: Master of Chaos owns nothing.
(Kitchen)
"Good morning everybody!" Matthew shouts as he enters.
"Well, look who finally decided to wake up." Riku said as he was buttering his toast.
"And Kairi said I was a lazy bum." Sora jokes as he dodges a punch from Matthew.
"Oh, but you are Sora, I can't think of anyone who's lazier." Kairi remarks while Sora starts to pout.
"Thanks a lot Kairi." Sora says with fake hurt. "That was mean."
At this everyone starts breaking out in laughter, until Mickey shows up.
"Your majesty." Matthew says as he kneels.
"Aw shucks Matthew, let's have none of this 'majesty' stuff, it's embarrassing." Mickey says as he blushes.
"Sorry sir." Matthew says as he goes to sit down.
"Now then, on to business, Riku, when are you guys heading off to the Radiant Garden?" Mickey asked.
"We leave as soon as possible." Riku replied.
"Excellent, Matthew, Master Yensid wanted to talk with you before you leave." Mickey said as he went to the rather large fridge.
"Okay, I better not keep him waiting." Matthew said as he dashed off.
(Sorcerer's Loft)
"You wanted to speak with me Master Yensid?" Matthew asked as he poked his head in through the door.
"Yes Matthew, please come in." Yensid said as he motioned to a chair.
As Matthew sat down Yensid began to speak.
"Matthew, I don't know what part you will play in this battle against the forces of evil, but I know you will be the one to restore peace and order to the worlds."
"Thank you master, I shall not fail." Matthew said as he stood up. "I swear on the keyblade and my very life I will find the answers I am looking for and end the evils that Xehanort has brought upon the worlds."
"An answer truly befitting a Keyblade master." Yensid said with admiration. "In the next room, the three good fairies will give you a better set of traveling clothes, those aren't exactly the most suitable for this war."
Matthew looks down at his clothes and he can't help but agree, his red t-shirt is ripped pretty badly, and his blue sweatpants have some holes in them.
"I guess you're right sir, these clothes aren't exactly the best." Matthew says as he walks toward the wardrobe.
(Wardrobe)
"Hello, may I come in?" Matthew asked as he looked around the room.
"Yes dear, please come in." Fauna said.
"I've come here for a new outfit." Matthew said.
"Yes, I see." Merryweather said as she began to take measurements. "Okay now that we have your measurements, we can begin."
Over the next hour the fairies worked to come up with a good design.
"Okay, now let's work together girls to get this right on the first try." Flora says as they ready their wands.
"On three." Fauna says.
"One, two, three." Merryweather says as they send their magic towards Matthew.
Poof
All of a sudden Matthew's outfit changed into a white t-shirt with a gold and silver keyblade crossing each other on the front, a black and blue stripe crossing in the back, and a purple crown over the keyblades. The pants were a midnight blue, with gold and silver lines twisting around his legs. The vest was blood red, with black and white lines intersecting.
"Oh my!" Flora exclaimed.
"Astounding!" Fauna said.
"That is probably our best work yet!" Merryweather stated.
"Now Matthew, these clothes are extremely special." Fauna said.
"What do you mean?" Matthew asked.
"These clothes will allow you to learn skills quicker than ever before." Flora said.
"Cool!" Matthew exclaimed.
"Now hold out your hand, we have one more gift for you." Merryweather said.
Matthew held out his hand as a red orb got absorbed into his outfit, suddenly a great burst of strength surged through Matthew, lighting his entire being on fire, as he disappeared in a flash of light, when he reappeared he was wearing a blood red outfit and wielding a second keyblade. (Valor Form)
"Whoa!" Matthew exclaimed.
"These clothes will allow you to change into many different stronger forms; you will have to unlock them as you travel." Fauna said.
"Thank you; this will really help my journey." Matthew said as he started to leave.
"No problem, now go teach Xehanort who's boss." Merryweather said.
"I will." Matthew said as he left.
(Kitchen)
"I wonder what Yensid wanted to talk to Matthew about?" Sora pondered as he grabbed a slice of toast.
"Aw, who cares, we'll find out soon enough." Donald said angrily since he coincidently lost a piece of toast.
Suddenly the door opened and everyone turns to see Matthew in the doorway in his new outfit.
"Sup guys." Matthew says as he enters.
"Whoa, Matthew what's with the new duds?" Axel asked.
"Oh, these, Yensid decided I needed a wardrobe change, so here's my new outfit." Matthew said as he grabbed some toast. "So, when do we leave?"
"As soon as you're ready." Riku said.
"Well in that case, race ya guys to the Gummi ship." Matthew said as he took off like a bat straight out of hell.
"No fair, you had a head start." Axel said as he ran after him.
Riku and Sora just look at each other before chasing after them.
"Boys!" Kairi and Yuffie say at the same time in exasperation, and chase after them.
(Wayward Stairs)
"You'll never catch up guys!" Matthew yells as he bolts down the stairs.
"That's what you think!" Sora yells back before turning to Donald. "Ready?"
Donald nods. "Let's do this."
"Give me strength!" Sora yells before transforming into Wisdom form. "Now I'll catch up!" Sora yells as he zooms after Matthew.
"Think again Sora." Matthew says as he leaps over the edge of the stairs.
"Matthew!" Yuffie screams.
Everyone hurries to the bottom of the stairs where they see Matthew completely unharmed.
"What the hell happened Matthew!?" Yuffie yelled.
"Well, as I fell, I quickly changed into my new form right before I hit the ground, it broke my fall." Matthew said as Yuffie walked over to Matthew and smacked him upside the head.
"Don't ever do something like that again." Yuffie said as if she were reprimanding a child.
"Okay, I won't." Matthew said as he walked outside the mysterious tower.
(Lanes Between: Inside the Gummi ship)
"So Yuffie, what's Radiant Garden like?" Matthew asked as he stared out the window at the calm empty expanse of space.
"It's a very large world, with a bunch of people, and a large castle, of course, at the moment it is only a shell of its former glory." Yuffie said sadly.
"Why's that Yuffie?" Matthew asked.
"Over ten years ago, an evil witch by the name of Maleficent came and plunged the world into darkness, the town became a bunch of rubble, and everyone had to leave, then about three years ago Sora came and drove Maleficent out, we've been restoring Radiant Garden ever since." Yuffie explained.
"Wow, that's amazing." Matthew said in wonder.
"Anyway, we're almost there, you can see it in the distance." Yuffie said while pointing at a small speck.
"Oh yeah, I can see it." Matthew said.
"Let's get ready for your training." Yuffie said as they left to get ready for what Matthew would encounter in Radiant Garden.
(Radiant Garden: Marketplace)
"Okay Matthew, welcome to Radiant Garden!" Yuffie said as Matthew looked around in wonder.
"This is amazing." Matthew said as he stared at the giant castle.
"Well let's go, we need to get you to Leon." Yuffie said as she started pushing Matthew along.
"Hey Donald, Goofy, isn't that Cloud over there?" Sora asked as he pointed towards a head of spiky blond hair.
"Gawrsh, I think it is." Goofy said as everyone walked over to the guy.
"Cloud, is that you?" Sora asked.
"Huh, oh hey Sora, Donald, Goofy, and." Cloud stops mid sentence as he sees who's with them. "Thomas?" Cloud asks.
"Hey dad." Thomas says as everyone's jaws drop.
"Dad, you mean to say that Cloud is you're father!" Sora says in disbelief.
"Yep, hey dad, did you ever find my half brother?" Thomas asks.
"Actually I did Thomas, look to your left." Cloud says.
Thomas turns to his left and only sees Sora. "You don't mean…" Thomas said.
"Thomas, meet you're half brother: Sofa Strife." Cloud says as Sora just stares in shock.
"You mean, you're my dad?" Sora asks slowly.
"It's actually not that hard to believe Sora, I mean we do look a lot alike." Cloud says.
"This is so awesome!" Sora shouts for joy.
"Excuse me, but if you're done with the family reunion, we have to go see Leon." Yuffie said.
"Oh yeah, we got to go." Sora says as they all head for Merlin's house.
(Merlin's house)
"Matthew, welcome to the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee." Yuffie says as they enter the house.
"Yuffie you're back!" Aerith says happily.
"Yep, and guess what, I found someone who is looking to join the committee." Yuffie says proudly.
"Who is it?" Leon says with his back to the wall.
"Come on in." Yuffie says as Matthew enters. "This is Matthew, he needs our help to train him."
"Why?" Leon asks.
Whoosh
Suddenly the keyblade appears in Matthew's hand.
"That's a good reason." Leon says as he walks over to shake Matthew's hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Leon, leader of the committee."
"It's a pleasure to meet you sir." Matthew says. "When will my training begin?"
"We can start right now; first I need to test your skills." Leon says as he draws his gunblade.
"Okay!" Matthew says as he steps outside for the first step in his training.
Matthew: So my training begins.
MoC: Yep.
