I don't own anything but well what can they do *police sirens*
Through the heat waves, glinting in the sun were cybermen. "Turn back" the Doctor said quietly.
"Are they cybermen?" Clara asked.
"Yes different design but yes" the Doctor said. The group turned back "We need somewhere to hide" Rory whispered. Everyone looked around for a place to hide "Look there's a cave over there" Amy whispered pointing at a cave. They ran over quickly and went into the dark, damp cave. "Quick behind those rocks" Jack said moving behind the rocks. River sat down and took Amelia out of the basket and held her in her arms. The familiar metal footsteps rang out in the cave. A cyberman walked past the entrance to the cave. Amelia gurgled; the cyberman turned its head and walked into the cave. River held Amelia all the tighter. Amy held Rory's hand. Jack lifted his gun and shot the cyberman. It fell to the ground sparks flying. "How?" the Doctor asked.
"Gold bullets, I always carry them" Jack said.
"We need to get away!" River said putting Amelia back in the basket.
"Maybe we could go deeper into the cave" Clara suggested.
"Good idea" the Doctor said. They started moving through the dark "I hate the dark" River remarked "It's so uncertain"
"That's true" Amy agreed.
"I hated the dark when I was little" Clara said coming to walk next to River "Especially after my mum died"
"Oh I hated it too" River said "I know what it's like to grow up without parents"
"That was no fault of ours" Rory protested.
"I know" River smiled back. Amelia rolled over in the basket. The baby started to cry "Oh sweetie" River said setting down the basket and picking Amelia up. "Doctor do you mind taking the basket" River said wrapping Amelia up in a blanket and giving the basket to the Doctor. They carried on walking the cave growing damper and colder. "Do you want to take Amelia?" River asked "My arms are getting tiered"
"Oh ok" Clara said. River gave Clara the baby. Jack came forward "So Clara, have you got a boyfriend?"
"I wouldn't tell you" Clara said holding Amelia.
"Sweetie, how are we going to get home?" River asked the Doctor.
"Um I'm working on it" the Doctor said.
"He hasn't got a clue has he?" Amy whispered. Then she and River cackled with laughter. There was a metal clang. "They've found us" Rory whispered. The Doctor looked up there was a hole in the rocks above them. "Quick up" the Doctor said lifting Amy, who was closest up. She scrambled up into the rocks. The Doctor took Amelia from Clara and passed her up to Amy, who was sitting in the cavern above them. The Doctor lifted River up and she pulled herself into the cavern. Clara was delivered into the cavern. Then the Doctor, Rory and then finally Jack lifted themselves into the cavern. The first cyberman passed just after Jack got his foot in the cavern.
The cybermen passed under them. The group sat in the large cavern "Now what?" River asked.
"Um to be honest I don't know" the Doctor admitted.
"We could follow the tunnel" Rory suggested.
"Good idea" the Doctor said "We'll crawl along the tunnel" the cavern was large but low.
"I'll cover your backs" Jack volunteered.
"Great I'll go first" the Doctor said.
"How do we move Amelia?" Clara asked.
"Um hang on" the Doctor pulled out two lengths of string. He fastened them to both ends of the basket. "Two people can pull it along"
"How there's no wheels?" Amy pointed out. The Doctor got 4 wheels and soniced them to the basket "Voilà" he presented.
"Let's get moving" Jack prompted. The Doctor started crawling into the tunnel, Clara followed; she was followed by Rory, Amy took one of the strings and followed her husband. River took the other string and started crawling. Jack finished the line. "Nice view River" Jack remarked.
"Hmm I getting déjà vu" River smiled.
"Oh yes. You, me, a ventilation shaft and the little black" Jack smiled remembering.
"River?!" the Doctor called after over hearing Jack and River's conversation.
"Don't worry sweetie nothing happened" River assured her husband.
"Melody!" Rory called.
"Don't worry daddy I was just crawling in a ventilation shaft wearing a little black dress" River teased.
"Definitely your daughter Amy" Rory said to Amy.
"Yep" Amy agreed.
"What are you family innuendo?" Clara asked.
"How did the cybermen know where to find us?" Rory wondered.
"Someone must be helping them" Jack said. There was a bang behind them. "They've found us" Amy breathed.
"Move" Jack said. They crawled quickly through the tunnel fully aware of the cybermen behind them. "Dead-end" the Doctor called.
"Cover your heads" River said. Amy reached for Amelia. River shot the roof of the tunnel. The tunnel didn't collapse but a clear circle of sunlight appeared "Up" River ordered pulling herself up. Once she was in the sun Amy paced her Amelia. Amy climbed up followed by Rory then Clara, Jack and finally the Doctor climbed out "Run" he instructed. River took Amelia out of the basket and started running. The cybermen marched behinf them. They dodged trees and ditches as they ran. After a mile the cybermen stopped, the Doctor turned round "There's a forcefield" he stopped running. The group came to a hault "Let's see why they are here" the Doctor walked over to the metal monsters "Why are you here?"
"Silence" came the mechanical reply. The cybermen teleported. The Doctor walked back over to the group "River settled Amelia down to sleep" the Doctor said he walked away and sat against a tree.
"What's up with him" Amy asked.
"I don't know" River said "Better get her to sleep likes he says"
"Why don't you sing to her" Clara smiled.
"Um I don't know many lullabies" River admitted. She started singing in a soft voice, the only song sang to her when she was a child "Doctor brave and good, he turned away from violence, when he understood the falling of the silence"
"Voice of nightingale" said a cold voice.
