Harry Potter of the Elite 4

"That stupid Weasley cost us points" Malfoy complained pacing in front of one of the many leather couches in the Slytherin common room

"It's bad enough what he did to that stupid Mud blood and got caught but with that stunt with Faust today Slytherin is going to look worse in the eyes of the student body"

"You are aware how we look already to the student body right Draco" Blasé Zabini pointed out while writing his transfiguration paper

"Yes Zabini I am but the idiot red head is making it worse for us" since they had been saddled with the two red heads in November the elder one was harmless bossy and grating on the nerves but a good student and harmless

The other one however was a much different story first was the outright refusal to wear the Slytherin colors and the purposeful disruptions believing if he got Slytherin house into enough trouble he'd be allowed back into the lion's den as a conquering hero

Then there was the gloating over his newfound wealth and some nonsense about 'screwing his plan' now that they had a vault full of galleons but the older red head yelled at him for that

And then of course there was his overall lethargy for studying and doing his homework in class his abilities even with a new wand were the cause of much headaches so much so that prefects had been ordered by Snape to spend their Saturday s tutoring him which led to fights arguments and more points lost

For the first time in seven years the house cup went to Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin which made the snakes hate the Ogrebum even more

"I swear if I could I'd curse the lazy little troll back to whatever pit he crawled out of" Malfoy seethed "the year is only a day old and he's already lost ten points"

"You're not wrong" a female voice said Malfoy turned to see the speaker was Julia Spencer a girl in his year with blonde hair and brown eyes sitting in front of a chess board

"It's not entirely the red heads fault" Julia said setting up the board "Oh and whose is it then Spencer" Malfoy asked

"Everyone's true enough Ogrebum is a spoiled prat and he lost quite a bit of points for the house but if the rest of us worked on ways to gain back the points instead of bullying others we'd at the very least wouldn't get in last again"

Malfoy chuckled "do you really think that will work" Julia shrugged "not if I said it but if someone whose father is on the board of governors proposed the idea"

"People would follow or at the very least listen" Zabini said entering the conversation

"Why should I tell people this insipid idea" Julia shrugged "how about this Malfoy I'll make you a deal we play chess you win I'll do your history homework for a month"

'That was a very good deal' Malfoy thought 'Spencer's second in history right under the know it all granger'

"And if you win" Malfoy said "I tell people your idea" Julia nodded Malfoy sat down and they played

For five turns before Malfoys king was taken "again" Julia nodded and they played again Malfoy smiled having taken her queen but he didn't see the trap until it was too late

"Checkmate again Mr. Malfoy" Julia said "aren't we in the house of cunning" Malfoy thought of not holding his end of the bargain but he didn't he had lost fair and square twice and he'd keep up his end

He'd have to write his father for help on this project of Julia Spencer's along with advice on chess

"Daphne what's wrong with the Slytherin's" Harry asked after three weeks he had noticed that the members of Slytherin house who bullied people had taken a drop even Malfoy and his cronies hadn't harassed them recently

And without the Slytherin camouflage other houses bullying was revealed like Ravenclaw and a first year named Luna Lovegood or Zacharias Smith and his gang from Hufflepuff there were even bullies in Gryffindor getting detention without Slytherin's to hide them

"I don't know why but Governor Malfoy the actual one has been shaking hands and making donations to Slytherin house including seven Nimbus 2001 for the Quidditch team"

Well that explained how in Quidditch practice a long story on how Harry got on the team that wood put them through hours of speed drills

Now before you think that Slytherin house has gotten all nicey nice no there are still plenty of bullies and jerks in the house of snakes their head of house a good example was Ogrebum

The former Weasly was hot tempered stupid and quick to get into a fight over the stupidest reasons last week he got into a fight with Seamus Finnigan for accidentally bumping into him

"Ok can we stop talking about snakes please" Hermione said "no offense Daphne" Daphne waved it off she and the rest of her house knew how they were viewed

"Yeah Harry we're going to find that lion statue again" Carter pointed out "what lion statue" asked Neville

"Ok do you remember during first year and I noticed this really old lion statue when I asked the older Ogrebum about it he looked at me and pretended not to hear me" Harry asked

Neville and Hermione thought about it and it did seem weird "so we're going to find this lion statue" asked Hermione

Harry nodded "yeah who knows what could be so special about it"

"It could be a secret passage to a vault or Hogsmede or maybe a library full of old books"

At the mention of library Hermione grabbed Harry and Carter and ran out of the great hall trying to get to the lion statue herself

Which she could if she knew where it was or could see it "Hermione let us show you where we saw the thing" Harry pleaded before she pulled his arm out of it's socket

"I don't see anything" Neville said "neither do I are you sure there's something here" daphne asked

Harry nodded in front of them was a life size statue of a lion on a marble base inscribed with the words

Leo Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

"How can you not see it it's as big as a lion" Harry asked "because we don't see anything"

Harry walked to the statue and began tickling it which to his friends looked weird

"dude what are you doing" Carter asked "I'm tickling a sleeping lion"

The statue eye's glowed Gryffindor red before it sank into the floor and the wall rose up "whoa how did you do that" Neville asked

"magic" Harry guessed before they walked in the wall closing behind them "congratulations potter we've found a tunnel" Daphne said sarcastically

"well let's see what's at the end of it" the five second years walked for a bit more before they arrived in a large room a wall of which was filled to the brim with "BOOKS" Hermione said rushing to what looked like ancient tomes

"well you were right about the library part" Harry said to Carter the four explored while their bookworm friend was busy they found a potions lab four bed rooms and a place like a common room with four portraits

The subjects were all sleeping and looked important "this one guy looks familiar" Harry said pointing at a bald grey haired wizard in a black robe

"He does" Daphne admitted walking over to the portrait she used a spell to clear the plate of dust when she saw the name she gasped "sa-sa-sa-sa"

"what who is" Neville said "Salazar Slytherin"

The wizard then woke up "who dares disturb the nap of the great and mighty Salazar"
