Here finally Chapter 14 and also a new Arc I hope you like this new Arc.
Chapter 14: Winter Break
After Ruby and Jaune's win against Sigma academy's ace team they parted with Amelia and Her team saying their goodbyes to the new friends. Ruby and Weiss were heading back to the dorm but they were stopped by Yang, "Where are you going we need to celebrate, let's go out and have some fun everybody" Yang yelled out to Ruby and Weiss.
Ruby's mindset quickly changed when she heard what Yang suggested and naturally went along with her sisters idea, "Sure it sounds like fun, come on Weiss lets go celebrate" Ruby said pulling Weiss back towards everyone else.
Weiss couldn't help but go along with Ruby and everyone else, not that she didn't want to but she had something else on her mind and she wanted to talk the Ruby about it.
Everyone had made their way to a restaurant that was close by the academy. They all walked into the restaurant, "Hello table for eight under the name Yang" Yang said to the woman. Everyone was surprised Yang had already booked for the eight of them to eat which made Ruby think for a second. "Yang… You're the best; you knew we were going to win" Ruby said thanking Yang for believing in them.
"Yeah no problem sis I knew you would win but… ah never mind forget it" Yang said looking to everyone else. Ruby became curious as to what Yang was going to say, "But… but what Yang, what were you saying?" Ruby asked.
"But you didn't expect me to win" Jaune said out loud. "To tell you the truth I gave up but then… I don't know something came over me and I just got my energy back. I don't blame you for thinking I would lose; I even thought that myself I still don't believe it. Let's forget about this and go have a good time shall we?" Jaune said to everyone.
"Yeah let's" Yang said smiling as the raised her fist in the air. The group walked inside and all sat down at one of the restaurants largest tables.
Ruby was curious about something; she looks to her sister sitting across from her. "Yang, how are you able to afford this?" Ruby asks her sister. Yang looks over to Weiss, "Hey Weiss you got this right?" Yang asks Weiss expecting that she could pay for dinner.
Weiss facial expression changed to a look of disappointment after what she heard Yang say, "How rude Yang, I should have known. Fine this one time because if I don't we don't get to enjoy this celebration" Weiss said to Yang hoping that she makes her feel guilty. "Thanks Weiss you're the best" Yang said smiling at Weiss.
"Shut up, I'm not doing this for you" Weiss said angrily. Everyone looks through the menus and decides on what they would like. The waitress came by their table to take everyone's orders. Weiss, Ren and Pyrrha decided on a small meal not ordering very much apart from salad and an ordinary dinner. Nora was reading the menu, "I want the scallops and the steak" Nora said to the waitress. Ren looked to Nora "Nora you do realize you ordered two dinners?" Ren said to her. "That's fine" Nora said back.
Ruby didn't feel like eating a meal so she order desert instead "The chocolate layer cake looks good, I will have that" She said to the waitress. Weiss looks at Ruby disappointed, "Ruby you can't just eat dessert, you need to eat properly" Weiss said to Ruby.
Jaune overhears Ruby's order and thinks it sounds good, "I will have that too" Jaune said to the waitress surprising Weiss and Pyrrha. Yang's order was the most surprising to everyone, after looking through the menu she decides on her order. "I'll have the pork chops with raspberry sauce with the honey roosted red potatoes on the side please" Yang said politely. "Fancy… I didn't expect that coming from you" Weiss said surprised at what Yang wanted. Yang puffed up her cheeks, "I know what is good and that sounds good to me" Yang said mad at Weiss.
Blake was the only one who hasn't ordered yet, "Miss have you decided on what you would like to order" The waitress said politely to Blake, Blake was still looking over the menu. Blake put the menu down and turned to the waitress, "I would like the smoked salmon and can I have some cold milk with that?" Blake said to the waitress.
"Of course miss your food will be ready in about 10-15 minutes" The waitress said then left. Blake was still looking away from everyone else when she felt something weird in the area, her ears twitched then she turned around and noticed she was being stared at by everyone else.
"What?" Blake said looking to everyone else. Yang started laughing "Ha ha Blake, how very cat like it was just purrfect" Yang said joking around with her girlfriend. Blake's face went red from embarrassment "Dammit Yang, Just because I want fish it doesn't mean anything" Blake said defending herself. "And the milk?" Yang said back. Blake turned her head away from Yang, "I… I like milk" Blake said still looking away.
Yang took the opportunity to play with Blake's ears, scratching them and petting her head. Blake put her head down trying to not admit defeat to Yang but she couldn't help but move her head closer to Yang. "See Blake you are enjoying it. ahh your so cute do you feel better meow" Yang said still making cat puns.
After the celebration team JNPR decided to go back to the academy, Blake and Yang also decided to go back leaving Weiss and Ruby alone. For the whole time they were out celebrating Ruby had noticed that Weiss has been acting strange, "Hey Weiss is something the matter?" Ruby asked.
Weiss figured that Ruby knew something was troubling her and that she wouldn't just leave it be, "Ruby you know that pretty soon we will be having winter break soon and that means we will be having no classes during that time. Are you going back home or will you be staying at Beacon during the break?" Weiss asked nonchalantly.
"Yeah me and Yang will be staying here and I'm pretty sure Blake is too, why do you ask?" Ruby said to Weiss.
"Well my family has organised that I stay at one of our holiday houses during the break so I'm asking if you would like to come with me. Blake and Yang of course are invited, so how about it?" Weiss asked quietly.
"Of course Weiss, I'd love to and I'm sure Blake and Yang would like to come as well. Let's go ask them" Ruby said ecstatically. Weiss felt better now that she had asked Ruby what she wanted to and now she is happy that she will come with her during winter break. Ruby and Weiss both headed back to Beacon to go tell Blake and Yang.
Winter break was close by and Weiss was excited that Ruby would come along with her, Ruby asked if Blake and Yang would come with them and they decided to come thus making team RWBY's plans for winter break complete.
Weiss made the preparations for them all to spend winter break at her family's holiday home and during the next couple of days they did what they normally did and eagerly waited for the winter break to come.
Finally winter break has started and team RWBY were ready to set off and go to Weiss holiday home. Weiss walked into the dorm room, "Hey are you ready we need to hurry, we need to be there in 20 minutes or we will be waiting hours for the next train" Weiss said nervously because they could miss their train.
Ruby, Blake and Yang were trying to get ready, they haven't got there stuff in order and are trying to figure out what to pack. "Give us a minute, were almost done" Yang said.
"Come on, you should have had this ready yesterday we need to go" Weiss said still panicking that they are not ready.
Weiss walked outside and waited for a couple of minutes, Blake Yang and Ruby who are now ready started bringing their stuff out with them and are now rushing to get to the car Weiss' father sent for them.
They all made it to the station and rushed over to the train, it was about to leave but they all got on just before it left and took their seats.
"See we made it" Ruby said to Weiss. Weiss was tired from running, "Yeah we just barely made it, you really should have been ready yesterday" Weiss said to Ruby.
A couple of hours have passed by and they are almost to their destination, Weiss looked out the window and started to notice familiar sights and she knew that they were almost there. Weiss looked towards Ruby who is trying so hard not to fall asleep but in doing so she is moving her head around and she appears like she would fall asleep any second. Weiss grabs Ruby and pulls her close and lets Ruby lay on her, Ruby didn't react because she was too sleepy and she started to doze off to sleep.
Some more time passed and they arrived at their stop, Weiss woke Ruby up and they all walked out of the train to be greeted by an old man in a suit. "Miss Schnee nice to see you again, I will be transporting you and your friends" He said to Weiss.
He looks towards Ruby and Yang "Hello my name is William and I have served the Schnee family for years and I am Miss Schnee's acting butler, I hope you all will have a present stay" He said introducing himself.
Blake was last to leave the train and she walked up to Weiss, William noticing that she is a Faunus tries to stop her from getting any closer to Weiss. Weiss immediately stands between Blake and William "Blake is my friend, you will treat all my friends with respect" Weiss said out loud trying to clear up this misunderstanding.
William goes down on one knee and apologies to Weiss and Blake "Sorry Miss Schnee, I was just following your fathers initial orders. If you trust her I shall to" He said.
Blake started to feel a little out of place here but Yang goes over to her and hugs her. They all get inside the car and they started heading to Weiss holiday home.
Once they arrived Ruby, Blake and Yang got out and were surprised to see this massive house in front of them. "Wow Weiss, you call this your holiday home… more like mansion is the right word" Yang said surprised.
They all walk up to the front door and William opened it, "Welcome, I hope you all will enjoy your stay" He said as he held the door for them as they walked in.
Ruby, Blake and Yang stared in awe at how big and beautiful it looked inside. "Would you like a tour" William said to the girls.
Ruby still in awe agreed to the tour and William proceeded to show them the rest of the estate first showing them areas such as the kitchen, "This the house's kitchen and this your chief who will be in charge of your meals" William said as he introduced the chief. The chief walked up to the girls and introduced himself properly, "Hello my name is Richard but I prefer Ricky nice to finally meet you Miss Schnee" Ricky said to Weiss.
After that William took the girls to see the rest of the house, he showed them the library which caught the interest of Blake then William showed them one of the many bathrooms of the house which were really big. Finally after showing most of what the house has to offer William showed the girls the bedrooms. "I have prepared your sleeping quitters, there are four bedrooms on this floor" He said showing off one of the bedrooms to the girls.
"Me and Blake will be sharing a room" Yang speaks up. "My apologies, I will clear the room that is not need then, will that be all" He said to Weiss. "Um…" Ruby was about to say something about sharing a room with Weiss when she was stopped by Weiss. "Yeah that will be all William" Weiss said as she started walking away.
Ruby was confused for a second but figured out quickly why Weiss did that but she still felt a little sad.
The rest of the day became a little awkward between Ruby and Weiss, Ruby knew why Weiss did what she did and she decided to keep their relationship a secret. During dinner the girls ate there food papered by the chief, they arrived to the house around 7 pm and they ate dinner around 8pm so they were all really tired and they were ready to sleep.
Ruby laid in bed alone and she felt a little sad being in such a big room without Weiss. Ruby didn't realize that Weiss had entered her room until she heard the door close; Ruby looked to see Weiss standing at the end of the bed in her sleeping attire. "Weiss, What if…" Ruby said but stopped when Weiss held Ruby down onto the bed, "Ruby I'm sorry… I am really sorry… I shouldn't have done that to you" Weiss said while on top of Ruby, her tears falling and hitting Ruby.
Ruby lifted her hand and wiped the tears from Weiss face, "It's fine" Ruby said to Weiss. Weiss still felt bad "But… I hurt your feeling didn't I" Weiss asked. Ruby smiled at Weiss, "Nope" she said. Weiss overcome with joy, crying tears of happiness now; she put her head down and started kissing Ruby.
