We keep our promise to Prince Iriak to show him the Destiny Islands before we take him to King Mickey for protection. As we're preparing to the leave the world, Prince Iriak frowns, "What an extraordinary place.."

"Isn't it?" Kairi asks, "So, why the sudden interest to see this world?"

"Rumors," he shrugs, "Now, I suppose it's time to see this king of yours, is it not?"

"It is," I reply, summoning my Keyblade rider, "Hop on, Your Highness."

Prince Iriak gets on the back of my Rider, and as Kairi summons hers, I shoot off into the sky. Flying through the Between Space, the Lanes Between, I turn back to say something to Kairi, and that's when I realize she's not there. I turn back and land back on the shore of my Islands and I find Hikari there with Kairi. He has Kairi by her throat, her Keyblade in his hand. I gasp and summon my blade to me, "Release her!"

Hikari smirks at me, "It seems you always know when to thwart me, doesn't it?"

"Let her go, Hikari!" I reply.

He simply shakes his head, "You still don't get the big picture, do you?"

"Enough with your games!" I say.

Again he shakes his head, "Not time to best you again, I have pressing matters to attend to."

He smiles then and opens a coridor of light behind him. He then pushes Kairi through it and it closes behind her. He continues to smile at me, "Now, the prince, please."

I step in front of Prince Iriak and he chuckles, summoning his Keyblade, "Come on, Sora, I even said please."

"Brig Kairi back!" I say.

His smile never leaves his face as he raises his blade against me, "You can still join the winning side, afterall, why should a warrior of light defend the darkness?"

"I fight for the balance of the worlds!" I raise my blade and run at him.

He sigh and swings his blade, a strong gust of wind knocking me back. In a flash he's standing before Prince Iriak, and I before I can even blink, he and the dark prince are gone. I grunt, "Not again!"

I want to go after Hikari, but I know I'm no match for him alone. I need my friends. I summon my Rider back and ascend into the Between Space, heading for Disney Castle a fast as I can. Hikri's gathering the Dark Princes and the Princesses of Heart, he's aiming for Kingdom Hearts! He must be stopped! I make it to my destination quickly, and I rush in, "Your Majesty! Aqua! Ven!"

Finding the halls empty, I head for the library, where we usually meet up. I push open the doors and I find my friends, but something's wrong. The faces of my friends are not ones of joy or even relief. I frown, "What happened?"

"Those Reversed stormed the castle, there were just so many. King Mickey, Ven and I left the library to fight them off, but it was a trap," Aqua explains.

"Reversed?" I asked.

"We thought the creatures of light needed a name.. They resembled Heartless, so we named them Revsersed.." Ven replies.

I shake my head, frowning, I turn back to Aqua, "What happened? Where are all the princesses?"

"It was a trap, Sora. Hikari got them," she replies.

My frown deepens, "He got Prince Iriak ad Kairi, too. And none of the other princes we found would leave their worlds. We've failed, Hikari probably has them, too."

The room is silent, and I look around, my eyes stop on King Mickey, "Where's RIku?"

King Mickey sighs "Hikari has him, too."

My eyes widen, "What? Why?"

"Hikari wants to open Kingdom Hearts. To do that, he'd need the true X-Blade. To get that, he'd need seven lights and thirteen darknesses. He has the seven lights, and seven darknesses, he's trying to make up the missing six." Aqua states.

I gasp, "He's turning people dark?!"

"It would seem so," Ven frowns, "What are we going to do?"

"We storm Daybreak Town and get our friends back," I say.

"That didn't go so well the last time. And besides, Hikari's been playing with us this entire time, we're still not certain what he's actually capable of," Ven frowns, "We need a real plan."

"We could try to ambush Hikari," Aqua suggests.

"That's not a bad idea," King Mickey say, "Catch him off guard, we could bring him down all together!"

"You're coming, too?" I ask.

King Mickey nods, "It looks like we'll need all the help we can get."

"I agree," Aqua says.

Ven nods, "Ambush it is, let's go."

We head to the courtyard and summon our Keyblade Riders, even King Mickey, who's Rider is a gold spinning disk. All four of us head into the Lanes Between and make our way back to hikari's homeworld, Daybreak Town. We get there and everythig is still, silent. The world is still as dead and broken as it was when we first came. Whatever Hikari did tothis world, it did a number on it. I'm not sure how long this world will stay inhabitable. I'm guessing it's not much longer..

King Mickey takes the lead, "All right, is everyone aware of the plan? Sora wil go up and talk peace wih Hikari, then Aqua and Ven will attack from both sides once Sora gives the signal. Then, I'll catch him from behind by using a coridor of light, as Ven and Aqua will. Everyone ready?"

I'm left alone in the dead world and I make my way to the tower in the distance, where else would Hikari try to gain Kingdom hearts? Finally making my way there, I go inside and climb a set of stairs. A huge door meets me at the top and I go through, coming into a large round room. To my horror stands the seven princesses, all standing in a line, they all seem out of it.

Across from them are the seven princes, and beside them, Ienzo, Even, DIlan, and Riku, also all out of it. And in the middle of the lights and darknesses, is Hikari, his back to me. He suddenly turns then, "Ah, Sora. So nice of you to come see the unveiling of the end of darkness!"

"I've been thinking of your offer," I lie, "I'd like to join you after all. I mean, what was I thinking? I was so misguided, I actually thought I was doing what was right."

"What changed your mind?" he asks, eyes narrowing.

I shrug, "After I realized what you were doing, I knew I couldn't stop you, you're far too strong. So I decided to join the winning side."

"Do your friends know you're here?" he questions, eyes never leaving me. Does he suspect? He can't..

"No" I reply, "I snuck away while they were discussing ideas of defeating you. You have nothing to worry about. They'd never have a chance against you."

He smirks, "True."

I'm safe. Hikari turns and looks at the lights and darknesses around him and he smiles, "I've always wanted to see the true X-Blade, and soon the moment will be apon us."

"When do you pan to open Kingdom Hearts?" I ask.

"As soon as I have two more darknesses to complete the count, and they will be here very soon," he smiles at me, "You'll be so surprised wen you find out who I've chosen to finish the count. It's such an honor to be a part of desroying the darkness for good."

"Who'd you choose?" I ask.

He shakes his head, smiling, "You'll see soon enough. Oh, so soon.."

I watch him walk between the lights and darknesses, my eyes immedietly finding Riku and Kairi, I have to get them out of here, need to find the right moment to signal the others! Hikari turns back to me and summons his Keyblade. I fight the urge to summon mine. He turns to me, "Almost time for Kingdom Hearts. Now, I'm going to unlock the hearts of light."

He points his blade towards the princesses, I have to save them!

"Hikari!" his name was the signal, and now I summon my Keyblade as Ven and Aqua appear from corridors of light on either side of Hikari. Hikari easily stops Aqua by trapping her in a Stopza spell and he quickly turns to Ventus and shoots a beam of light into Ventus' chest. I gasp as Ventus falls, clutching his chest, darkness erupting around him. Hikari then turns to me and smirks, "I'm not an idiot, Sora."

King Mickey comes out of the wall behind Hikari and he goes for an attack when Hikari uses Stopza on him as well. I stare at Hikari, "How did you know?"

"For one, this is my world, I know everything that goes on, and two, I've beconed you to join me since we met, and you've never let up your misguided ambitions. So, doingso now, I knew you were trying to trap me." he replies.

I stare at Ventus and then turn back to Hikari, "The two missing darknesses.."

"You and Vanitas," Hikari says, smiling, aiming his blade at me, "You get the honor of being the final key. You should be proud."

I raise my Keyblade as he shoots a beam at me, I try to block the beam, but the beam goes right through my defenses and hits me in the chest. I gasp, my Keyblade disappearing. I clutch at the pain in my chest as I fall to the floor. Hikari walks over to Ventus and points his blade at him. I groan, rolling onto my side, "Leave.. Him alone.. Hikari.."

Hikari just smiles, "Wait your turn, Sora." He then points his blade at Ventus' heart and a beam of light hits him. Ventus cries out and I try to push myself to my feet, but I can't fid the energy to get up, my chest just hurts far too much. Ventus continues to scream as darkness rises around him, and when the dark cloud disappears, someone is standing beside Ventus now. Someone I don't want to see again, never wanted to see in the first place.

The darkness that takes my appearance now stands across the room from me. Vanitas. Hikari suddenly shoots Vanitas in the chest with his Keyblade and suddenly Vanitas' confused/relieved face turns blank. I gasp and Hikari leads Vanitas to he side of the darknesses, and then he turns to me. He smiles at me and points his Keyblade at my chest and I gasp, "Don't do this, Hikari.. If you take the darkness from Kingdom Hearts.. You'll destroy everything, there will be nothing left!"

"I am doing what is right. I am ridding the worlds of darkness forever, so no one can be taken by its curse any longer," he replies.

"Hikari, please reconsider, you have to know what you're doing is wrong.." I say, "You're a Keyblade wielder, you have to know the worlds are going to become unbalanced, and then they will destroy themselves. If you go through with this, you will destroy everything!" I explain.

"I know what I am doing is just, your petty words have no affect on me," Hikari replies, shooting a beam into my heart. I scream as I can feel the darkness slowly creeping into my heart. Is this the end for me? It can't be. I can''t go out this way, lost to the darkness. I have to stop this, stop Hikari. I have to make him see his mistakes before I completely lose myself..
