Link

We got the lens of truth once more, its strange finding all my old weapons in new places followed by my new mission. Right now Dark and I are resting in the hot spring. I lay between his legs my head on his chest as he pets my hair in a rhythmic beat.

"Link… what's going to happen after this all ends? what's going to happen to us?" He whispers drawing my face up so I can look up into those beautiful ruby eyes.

"I don't know, do you think the goddesses would separate you and Dark Deity into two separate bodies?" I question as he sighs softly.

"I truly hope so." he murmurs drawing me in for a gentle kiss. I press my lips to his my arms sliding over his shoulders to his neck as I tilt my head to deepen the kiss. After a few moments we pull away from each other knowing that our time together is ticking, slowly but surely our time was running out. "Let's go love, we can't start time over without getting a little progress in." He says with a small smile, but it's a bit forced and I can see it in his eyes.

"You're right." I whisper as we step out of the warm spring water to get our clothes back on. Together we walk out of the cavern, Dark uses his shadows to bring us to the entrance to snow head. We walk onward hearing a loud whistling sound as the wind from the top of snow head breezes past us. Dark and I held hands bracing ourselves against the breeze and snow that was being thrown in our direction. I could feel my boots slipping in the snow and before I knew it I was on the floor my palms bracing me so I didn't slide back any further.

"What the fuck…?" Dark mutters his eyes glued to the top of Snow head temple. I blink in surprise grabbing the lens of truth and staring in the direction Dark was. I see a large Goron sitting at the top of the entry way of the temple. That's why we cant make it any further that damn thing is so close to blowing us away.

"How do we stop it?" I question making Dark pull out a ruby ocarina that looks similar to my own. He closes his eyes as he brings it to his lips playing a lullaby. I plug my ears watching as the Gorons eyes begin fluttering shut as he fights to stay awake before us. Before long the Goron curls up falling asleep instantly before rolling off the side of the icy canyon. I can feel Darks guilt as he pulls me on to my feet dragging me towards the new temple we were about to face. When we were in the hot springs we got another mask that allows us to transform this time into a Goron, I refused to use it so I gave it to Dark who took it without question. I hear Dark sigh in frustration next to me.

"W-what's wrong?" I mumble trembling from the cold.

"Link I know you hate using the shadows and im sorry for this." He says softly diving after me as he tackles me down. I expect to fall into the frigid snow but the impact never comes and when I blink open my eyes Dark is crouched in front of me a worried look on his face as I sit up surveying our surroundings. I am sitting on a platform shaped like Majora's mask while there are icicles surrounding us.

"are you feeling alright darling?" he questions his hand running through my blond bangs.

"F-fine." I stutter trying to calm my nauseous stomach.

"From here on out we may have to part ways Link, Take care of yourself alright?" He whispers softly lifting me to my feet before slinking into the shadows in the floor leaving me cold and alone. I sigh missing the warmth of his body as well as the hot spring as I stare at the large wall of stone blocking my way. I step forward bracing my palms against the cool ice covered surface shivering slightly before pressing hard on it, I dig my heels deep into the snow covered ground throwing my whole body weight against the block. Slowly it inches forward inch by inch until im forcing it to fall into a gap in the next room allowing me entrance. The room is small and circular with three doors the one to my left is a light grey with a large padlock preventing me from entering.

The one in front of me is red covered by a thick sheet of ice, there is no way in hell im getting in there unless I have fire. I turn to my last option being a blue door to my right, the only one that im able to make it through at this time. Just as I am about to walk through the door I feel a strange presence in the room. I whirl around drawing my sword as a white wolf appears in the room. It stares at me with eerie crimson eyes before howling loudly making me flinch at the sound.

I'm caught off guard when it tackles me, I bring my shield up just barely in time to block it from tearing my throat out. I use all my strength to hold my shield back as the wolfos keeps snapping at my throat. I tilt my head to the side one of my hands searching desperately through my pouch for anything I can use. Suddenly I feel a stone in my grip and judging by its warmth its Dins fire.

I huff a sigh of relief as I clutch the stone tightly whispering a prayer to the goddess. Then the magic erupts around my body throwing the wolfos off of me with a whimper. I roll onto my feet charging at it slicing vertically down its body making it disappear in a blue flame.

Dark

I didn't just want to leave Link there, but I don't want him in anymore danger, with the shadows I can go straight to the boss room.

When I drew myself up I looked around what I assumed was the boss room seeing very high ceilings as well as what could only be described as a race track?

I don't exactly know but there was no boss to be see…. never mind. He's incased in a large block of ice and I wonder if Dins fire will do the job but part of assumes that it won't be enough. I bite my lip, I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to this but… What Link doesn't know won't hurt him.

In the end im doing all of this for him, to save him from Majora. I close my eyes allowing myself to relax enough to establish a connection with him. "Well look who came crawling back… What is it you want Dark…?" His voice echoed through my mind making me shiver as I opened my eyes seeing him in the same place that had been our meeting place for ages. He was leaned his back up against the old willow tree. This was the place where we had both appear to Link, where he proved that I meant something too.

"Shadow… I want to get through this temple without having to involve Link much. I need you to lend me your strength because deep down I know you love him too." Shadow narrowed his eyes.

"You realize by using my power you bind our souls together. The man you were trying to prevent me from having and from utterly destroying will be mine." I take a deep breath swallowing hard because his words are true.

"I love Link too much to let him die here. So if forcing our souls to bind allows Link to survive then it's worth it." Shadow stares at me for a moment before walking closer to me a smirk plastered to his lips.

"Why not forget about him and come back to me, the passion of our fire will always burn brighter." Shadow murmured lacing his fingers through mine as he leans closer. Instinctively I close my eyes allowing him to press closer until I can feel his breath against my lips.

"Never." I whisper back as he finally presses his lips to mine. My eyes shoot open as pour surges through my veins, his power. I stare at the ice enclosing Goht and I pull the stone matching Links from my pouch whispering a prayer to the goddess. The flames that erupted from the stone were unlike anything I had ever seen before, they were an abysmal black color that ate away at the ice containing Goht. I used Shadows instincts to guide pulling out the mask that Link had gotten from Darmani before raising it to my face. I felt my body transform with ease as I stared through new eyes at the monster I would be facing.

"DARK WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" Link screamed making me turn to face him, his eyes became wide before he drew his bow aiming for the ancient beast that was now dashing towards me. I blinked finally regaining my senses as I curled into a ball using my magic to send me speeding forward and away from danger as Link shot Goht not even receiving a whimper of pain. I didn't think much of it as I surrendered myself to Shadow allowing him to fight this battle for me. Our body raced around the room until we were barely at Goht's heels, we used one of the bumps in the terrain to our advantage allowing our body to come crashing down on Goht momentarily stunning him. "LINK!" I screamed and instantly the blonde ran with his sword drawn as he attacked Goht getting a few good hits in before the beast threw him back and stood once more racing around the room recklessly. If we weren't careful he'd bring the whole temple down on us.

"DARK YOU NEED TO DO THAT AGAIN, I THINK WE CAN BEAT HIM!" That was the only incentive I needed to curl my body into a ball again and outrun Goht. After a moment I can over a bump that launched me up into the air crashing down on his back. LInk once again ran forward effectively destroying Goht. I took off my mask as Link picked up the mask from the floor, I don't know what urged me forward until my arms were wrapped tightly around my heros waist making him flinch slightly before he relaxed into my arms.

"Dark what happened back there?" He whispered turning in my arms until he was facing me.

"What are you talking about darling?" He stared at me with worried cerulean eyes as he pulled away slightly.

"Your eyes, they… I thought they looked like his…" He whispered shivering slightly. I held him tightly kissing his forehead as he wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"Let's go I don't want to spend any more time in here than I have to." I said pulling him towards the blue light not even waiting to hear his response.
