For those who haven't noticed Kantis has a natural dispostiton towards wanton chaos, and reckless shenanigans. Which is a good thing, I guess (unless you are an unsuspecting victim!)

Why do I like randomness? Well that is because I am Chaotic/Neutral and for the lolz is a perfectly legit reason! I was tricked into starting a totally boring organization. Anyway, Kantis did do that and he is also Sasuke's great grandfather on his mother's side. Some of itachi's better traits will actually stem from Kantis' bloodline.
