Chapter 14: The Transformation's Complete!
The Tri-Fanged Dragon Arises And All Seems Lost
The Straw Hats were pulling out all of the stops when it concerned fighting against their possessed comrade. "Man, Zoro-bro is crazy SUUUUuuuuuper strong. How are we supposed to beat him," questioned the cyborg shipwright as he stood up after being sent flying by one of the attacks. Yamoniyo looked around as he saw the ground showed the scars from the attacks from both Straw Hats and himself. "What Is With This Group? His Crewmates Are Just As Powerful As Roronoa," he thought as his view caught sight of his wolf, carrying the last two pieces of the prophecy. A sinister smile crept onto the face of the transformed Zoro upon seeing his wolf, the two swords clutched tightly in its mouth. "Now Straw Hats. Prepare To Meet Your End. Come To Me, My Pet," hollered the enemy as the crew looked at him a bit dumbfounded. "Pet? What does he mean by tha...," muttered Nami as she turned to where Yamoniyo's eyes were directed. Her eyes widened in panic as she saw the creature standing at the edge of the clearing.
"Guys...GUYS! THE WOLF IS HERE," yelled the orange-haired girl, pointing in the direction of the wolf. The crew members turned to see the creature as it began to run towards its creator and master, carrying the swords. Usopp turned and began to take aim with his Kabuto, firing off several pellets. "Torimochi Boshi," shouted the long-nosed sniper as several pellets exploded into a sticky trap near the wolf's feet. Unfortunately, the wolf was more agile and nimble, able to dodge Usopp's attacks. "Damn it. I can't get a clean shot at the wolf, guys," yelled the sniper as he began to grab more of his attack pellets from his bag. The raven-haired captain turned his sights towards the four-legged creature and began to ready a punch towards it, "Gomu Gomu NOooooooo." Unfortunately for the energetic Luffy, Yamoniyo ran over and launched an attack at the young captain, "Goka Hono," spewing out a blast of black and red flames. Luffy barely managed to escape the inferno, screaming, "Hot hot hot HOT!"
The wolf continued to make its way towards Yamoniyo, dodging the various shots from Usopp. The wolf sprinted past the shots and was mere moments away from the enemy, carrying the last two pieces of the ritual when...
"STR-R-R-R-R-R-R-RONG RIGHT!" A large fist came flying towards the ground in front of the wolf, breaking it into several large slabs of rock. The wolf lost his footing and jumped backwards onto unshattered terrain. The fist flew back towards its owner, the cyborg Franky, as he sneered and said, "Damn it. I almost got the damn swords back." His iconic pompadour wilted a bit more, and the cyborg took notice. He gritted his teeth and thought, "Damn it. I'm running low on cola." "Usopp-bro, take the shot," yelled the blue-haired man towards the sniper. "Got it," he replied as he reloaded his Kabuto and fired some more of his sticky arsenal. The wolf dodged nearly all of the shots, but one lucky shot managed to snag one of the wolf's rear legs.
The dark-furred wolf struggled to free its leg from the sticky trap, growling furiously and holding tightly onto the swords in its mouth. An angered Yamoniyo gritted his teeth as he saw his missing swords just an arm's throw away. "Damn You, Straw Hats," yelled the furious entity as he begun to make his way to the final pieces to his takeover of the world. "Thinking of going somewhere, you even shittier swordsman," questioned the blond cook as landed a blazing kick to the swordsman's side. The possessed swordsman flew away from his prized swords and crashed through several trees as the flaming kick burnt part of the white iconic shirt. As Sanji landed, he felt a twinge in his leg. He cursed under his breath, "Damn it. That shitty marimo is thick as hell, but man, that felt good to finally do."
"Sanji! Are you okay," yelled the small doctor as he began to make his way to his culinary-inclined crewmate. "I'm fine, Chopper. Try and get the shitty mosshead's swords," yelled the fiery cook as he shook feeling back into his leg. Chopper nodded as he made his way over to the wolf, saying in his toughest voice, "Hey, wolf. Give me those swords." As Chopper got closer, the wolf just growled at him. "I said drop those swo...," started the small reindeer when he was cut off by a kick to the face and sent flying several feet away. Rubbing his sore cheek, Chopper looked up at his assailant, Miyakuro. "Sorry, you little runt, but we're gonna be taking those," said the gangster as he kicked the doctor further away. He walked towards the wolf and grabbed the swords. He pulled out a knife and sliced through the gunk holding the wolf in it's place. "Go have a bite to eat with the tanuki. I'll take these to Yamoniyo," he said with a sneer as the wolf licked its chops and began to walk towards the downed doctor.
The diminutive doctor looked up with bleary eyes, seeing an imposing wolf staring him down with a hungry look on its face. He reached for a Rumble ball but hesitated. "If I use one now, I'll only have one that I can use later, and if Zoro does turn into a dragon, I might be able to use one safely by then," thought the doctor as he held the ball within his hand. As the wolf leapt forward, Chopper could only wince from the possible attack. He was not greeted with the feeling of claws and teeth, but he met with a thud sound and a painful shriek. He opened his eyes to see the speedo-wearing cyborg as stepped in and kicked out the carnivore. "Franky," cried out the reindeer as he shakenly stood up. "Oi, Chopper-bro, you gotta be more Super than that. Where are the swords at," as the cyborg as he lifted his glasses up to find the prizes they had been fighting for. "AAAAAHHHHHHH! THAT OTHER GUY HAS THEM," yelled the overly excited doctor as he pointed towards the man who had kicked him moments ago, eyes bulging from their sockets at the shock. "WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO," yelled the pompadour man as his eyes bugged out of their sockets as well. He regained his composure and began to run after Miyakuro.
Miyakuro was making his way towards his boss with the two swords when he heard a furious scream come from behind him as he saw the perverted cyborg running towards him. "Dammit! Gotta get these to Yamoniyo," said the man under his breath as he scanned the battlefield. Finding his boss, he threw the first sword at the possessed swordsman, unsheathing itself as it spun through the air. "Yamoniyo, catch," he yelled as the sword flew towards his target. The heavy-bladed Shuusui found itself within the grasp of the evil spirit, giving it more demonic strength into his acquired body of the swordsman. A wave of dark energy radiated from the green-haired man as his body began to change shape once again. The sickening sound of bones breaking and reshaping themselves echoed around the being as his shape started to look less human. He became more elongated, both in his spine and his limbs with his frame growing to twelve feet tall. A short tail sprouted from his backside, the scales darkened all across his body, and his face began stretch out a snout. The boots he was wearing exploded as his feet morphed, with talons forming on his fingers and toes. Small horns protruded from his forehead as he let out a powerful roar. "This Power Is Incredible. I Must Have That Final Sword. Throw It To Me NOW!"
Miyakuro prepared himself to throw the last piece of the cataclysmic puzzle, but as he reached back to throw Sandai Kitetsu, an oversized hand grabbed hold of his shoulder. "What the hel...," he started to say as he was thrown further away from the demonic being. "It's bad manners to turn your back on your opponent," said the pompadoured cyborg as he grinned, pointing his thumb at himself and saying, "Especially one as SUPER as me." The blue-haired man pulled the skin off of his fist and pounded it menacingly in his other palm. Before he could land a punch on the former host of Yamoniyo, a sinister voice chimed in from a short distance away. "Same Thing Applies To Me, You Blue-Haired Buffoon," said the demon in Zoro's altered body as he launched an attack. "Futago No Goka Saikuron." Two flying cyclones of dark energy flew from the slashing blades towards the cyborg's exposed back. "Shit," yelled Franky as he had no time to react.
"Yohohohoho, now, now Franky-san. Now isn't the time to die," said the afro-bearing skeleton as he held up a sword to block one of the flying infernos. "I agree with Brook-san. We have to save our nakama first," said the stoic raven-haired woman as she held up Wado Ichimonji to counter the other one. It seemed to be repelled by an unseen force, as it veered away from the archaeologist several feet in front of her. Yamoniyo's teeth gritted in displeasure as he saw the bane of his existence continue to stand. The now twelve-foot tall being growled in anger as he stared down the woman, spouting out, "Hurry Now, Miyakuro. The Final Sword. THROW IT TO ME, NOW!" The street thug stood up from where Franky had thrown him and started to make his way over to his boss, prepping himself to throw the sword. "Shit," yelled the cyborg as he prepared to launch his Strong Right attack, but his hair wilted in front of him, causing to yell out, "Double shit!, I'm out of cola!" The cursed sword began to fly through the air, nicking Miyakuro's hand in the process as it too came out of its sheath.
The eagerly awaiting Yamoniyo stretched out his arm, anticipating the grip of the sword to greet his hand. A puff of steam appeared in front of towering dragonoid as the raven-haired captain gave an angry stare to the surprised Yamoniyo. "Gomu Gomu No," said the rubbery boy as he threw his hands back quickly and returned them even quicker, "Jet Bazooka." The captain's hands crashed into the chest of the enemy, sending him flying into the mountainside. Before he could catch his breath, the boy's hands grabbed onto his shoulders as he flew towards the embedded foe, "And Missile!" The crash shattered the chunk of mountain into rubble. The sword clanged on the ground as the hand had waited for it was no longer there to catch it. Brook ran towards the sword, knowing that it was all that stood between stopping the enemy and the end of the world. Miyakuro ran as fast as he could towards the final piece to helping his boss take over the world.
Franky knew he was in no shape to fight, so he grabbed Robin's wrist and ran over to the cola riders. "What are you doing, Franky-san," questioned the archaeologist as she was hesitant to letting Brook be the only one to go after the sword. "Look, Robin-sis," started the cyborg as he pointed to his limp pompadour, "I'm out of cola, so I need to harvest as much of it from the riders before he gets back up, let alone more powerful. I need as much help as I can get to collecting it all. The others are getting ready in case as well." He pointed his large finger towards Sanji, Nami, Usopp, and Chopper, who were doing what they do best. Sanji was getting checked out by Chopper, and once he was given a thumbs up, he began to spin around, as his focal point leg began to glow a dull red and grew brighter with each revolution. Nami was spinning her Perfect Clima-Tact pieces around, creating a black thunder cloud. Usopp went through his sack and grabbed all of his remaining ammo and placed it in a jury-rigged bandolier. "I trust in Brook-bro. He'll get there before that other jerk," said the blue-haired man and gave Robin a thumbs up. Robin bit her lip in a bit of unease, but she reluctantly smiled at the robotic comrade, agreeing with his plan.
The foot race between the afro-bearing skeleton and the street thug was closer than one would expect. As the musical man ran as fast as his legs could carry him, he thought to himself, "The fatigue from the earlier fights are taking their toll on me. Although, I don't have any muscles to tire out." He chuckled a brief "Yohohoho" as he continued to run his fastest, starting to take the lead in the race for the world. Miyakuro cursed under his breath as pushed himself harder, getting closer to the Straw Hat pirate. Pulling out a dagger, the thug started to slash at the running skeleton, hopefully to cause him to falter. "I won't let you damn pirates stop us from ruling the world," shouted the angered Miyakuro as his slashes nicked at the musician's clothes. "If you want, I can help you dream of that world," he said as his bony fingers pulled out his violin. He dragged the blade of his cane sword across the strings as if it were a bow. "Nemuri Uta: Flanc." As the blade finished its notes, the melody it played struck the ears of his enemy. Miyakuro fell to the ground, fast asleep before his head even touched it.
Yamoniyo stood up from the large pile of rock and stone, covered with bruises from the captain's onslaught. He spotted the skeletal figure running towards his final piece towards his goal. "How Hard Is It To Get One Damn SWORD?! GO, MY MINIONS," yelled the behemoth, raising his arms up. A large number of dark wolves appeared from the various shadows that surrounded him. The wolves looked at their creator, a red glint in their eyes. "Retrieve The Sword, And Kill All Of The Straw Hats." This command from the dragon-like being set off the horde of wolves like a wave of destruction. Several of the wolves ran towards the sword and the musician. The rest made their way towards the remainder of the pirates. As the enemy lowered his arms in satisfaction, he felt the force of the young captain. "You thought I was done with you? Gomu Gomu No Jet Rifle," said the young man as his spiraling arm collided with the back of the demonic Yamoniyo, sending him careening into several nearby trees.
The shipwright and archaeologist had taken apart the engine components of the cola riders, harvesting about a bottle and a half of cola for the cyborg. "Damn, I was hoping for more," said the cyborg as he installed the refilled bottles into his compartment, saying, "But I guess it'll have to do." Robin's ears picked up the sound of running legs only to look up and be greeted by the sounds of howls and snapping jaws. The mass of fur and fangs made their way towards the collection of Straw Hats that were preparing to take on the wolves' leader. "SHIT! THERE'S MORE OF THOSE WOLVES," yelled the timid sniper as he spotted the pack rapidly approaching.
Chopper and Nami hugged each other tightly as they let out a collective scream of fear. "Nami-san," said the blond chef as he leaped in between the navigator and the attacking horde. "You shitty bastards are trying to kill poor Nami-san? Not while I'm here. Frit Assorti." The young man let loose an onslaught of painful kicks amongst a large group of the wolves. "Chopper, it's a man's duty to protect women, not to scream along side with them," shouted the cook as he was starting to get overwhelmed by the numbers. The reindeer stared at the cook, stunned by his words, but he swallowed his fear and nodded in agreement. "Heavy Point," shouted the diminutive doctor as he grew to his "human" form and began to punch the various wolves away. Franky and Usopp unleashed a torrent of bullets and pellets as Robin tried to trip up and clutch as many of them as she could.
As the majority of the Straw Hats were occupied, the skeletal swordsman bent down and grabbed a hold of the red scabbard of the Pirate Hunter's cursed sword. "Yohohohoho. Don't worry, Zoro-san. I've got your swo...,"said Brook as he was interrupted by an assault of fur and paws. The snapping jaws of the wolves were flying towards the bony buccaneer, nearly missing his limbs that looked tasty to the quadrupeds. "Yohohoho, you nasty dogs scared me bad enough to give me goosebumps," he said as the cane sword was drawn and ready to strike. "Although I have no skin," he finished as he gave a low menacing "Yohohoho." The wolves sneered as they watched Brook bare his blade at them while holding Sandai Kitetsu behind him.
"There are too many for me to take on myself and holding onto Zoro-san's sword prevents me from using my sleeping technique. If I can get to the others, we can protect Zoro-san's sword more expeditiously," thought the musician as he looked around him for a weak point in the circle of wolves and a strategy to exploit it. "Alright, now we dance. Gavotte Bond en Avant," said the sword-wielding skeleton as he lunged forward, hitting several of the wolves. As the circle of wolves began to collapse around him, Brook turned back towards the grouping of wolves with a wild "Yohohohoho" leaving his mouth. "And now," said the gentleman as he pointed his blade towards the oncoming mass, "Aubade Coup Droit." A blast of air tore through the pack, creating a hole, allowing the skeleton to run through towards his nakama. The spry skeleton sprinted to his fellow pirates while being chased by the horde of wolves.
He continued to evade his pursuers, weaving through the trees with the hopes of slowing down his four-legged foes. Though they were wolf in appearance, they were an extension of Yamoniyo's will and couldn't be tricked so easily. "Damn, these wolves are a pain in my ass. Although, I don't really have one. Yohohohohoho," he laughed as he tried to make light of the situation. He began to run towards his nakama, hopefully greater numbers would mean a better chance of protecting the sword and saving his green-haired companion. A grim look crossed Brook's face as he saw that his path was blocked by foes. He prepared to launch another Aubade Coup Droit, however his sword-wielding arm was lunged upon by one of the wolves. He turned to face the wolf, allowing the other to begin their assault as well. "Shit," Brook said as he began to swing his sword to alleviate his situation.
The misfortune of being surrounded by foes all attacking at once is the blur that comes from not being able to focus on that one enemy that isn't attacking and preparing to strike. Unfortunately for Brook, the one wolf that wasn't attacking him was circling around the entire fight, keeping its eyes on the red sword. Brook's wriggling form made the sword harder to focus on, but it wasn't ready to strike until it knew that it could grab it. He continued to fight his fur-covered foes with slashes left and right, but the closeness of the wolves made his slashes not very effective. "Get out of my way, you unruly wretches," Brook angrily yelled as he made a hard slash, clearing a narrow path in front of him. He began to make his escape through, but his relief unintentionally allowed him to relax his grip ever so slightly. This was the moment the wolf had been awaiting and lunged for Sandai Kitetsu hilt. Brook felt the wolf's mouth latch onto the sword and tightened his grip, but that moment of relaxation allowed the wolf use its weight and the leverage from the swayable sheath to unsheathe the sword.
The wolf landed and dashed away with the sword clenched in its jaw, much like Zoro does. Brook gasped at the realization of his mistake and began to pursue the wolf so as to fix it. As he began to chase after the wolf, the growls and howls from his previous opponents began to draw closer behind him. "Shit, I can't let these wolves stop me," said the skeleton as he began to sway from side to side near the trees. With his sword, he slashed the trees and low-hanging branches, creating barriers and crushing his pursuers. Turning his sights back on the runaway wolf, Brook focused on his target. "Damn it. I can't launch my flying attack at the wolf while I give chase. If I stop to launch it, it'll be out of range. I have to think of something," he thought as he looked ahead and saw the last few trees before the clearing where Yamoniyo stood. "And fast."
His eye sockets caught sight of Robin along with the others fending off their own furry assailants. "Robin-san. Everyone. The wolf has the sword," said the skeleton as he continued to chase the wolf. Robin caught sight of the wolf and turned to her nearby nakama, "Everyone, cover me. I'll get the wolf with the sword." This was the cue for Sanji play the knight in shining armor, jumping in between Robin and the wolves and shouting, "I shall protect you, Robin-chan." As the cook launched an onslaught of kicks, Robin focused on her prey, "Quatro Fleur." Four arms sprouted from the back of the wolf, one over each of its limb joints. "Spread," she commanded as the arms grabbed the paw of their assigned leg and stretched them outwards, causing the wolf to fall onto its stomach. The force of it falling opened its jaws, causing the sword to be free once again.
Robin wanted to create more arms to secure the sword, but she had to focus on the wolf in her clutches or else it would take possession of the sword once more. "I've got it," said Brook as he ran as fast as his legs could carry him towards the fallen sword. As the hilt was mere inches away from his bony fingers, a swift and powerful kick was delivered to his chest, knocking him away and gasping for air to fill his non-existant lungs. "Sorry, but finders keepers,"said Miyakuro as he reached down and picked up the red-hilted sword. "Here's the sword, boss," said the gang leader as he hurled the sword towards Yamoniyo. Robin tried to create more arms but had to wait until the previous arms had finished, but it was too late. The sword had found its way into the hands of Yamoniyo as he shifted his dark sword into his mouth to free up his hand.
"At Long Last, I Will Be All-Powerful Once Again," said the evil entity as he began to laugh with delight. As his laughter continued, the sounds of bones snapping and reforming began as a dark and ominous flame enveloped his form, growing in size and intensity. Through the flames, the silhouette of Yamoniyo can be seen, as the transformation began to change Zoro's once stoic form into a towering monstrosity, already over three stories tall. The three swords levitated around the changing form before slamming hilt-first into what could be perceived as his snout. The laughter continued but grew deeper and more vile with each cackle, making Usopp, Chopper, and Nami's skins crawl.
As the transformation continued, the Straw Hats gathered back together as they fended off the wolves. Brook was the last to arrive, feeling ashamed that he allowed this to happen. "I am sorry, everyone. I have let you and Zoro-san down," he said apologetically as he held his head down with tears welling in his sockets."No one person is at fault here, Brook, but we all have to now work together to bring back our nakama," said Luffy, showing the reason why he is the captain. Although he generally acts childish, there are those moments where he shows his maturity that comes with those who are seasoned veterans. As Brook rebuilds his composure, they all turn to see their nakama continue with his transformation.
"If we attack now, we might be able to halt the transformation and perform the ritual with him in a weakened state," surmised Usopp as he tried to stop his knees from shaking violently. "LET'S DO IT," yelled Luffy as he rushed towards the mass of flames, with the rest of the Straw Hats in tow. As they approached, they were greeted with Yamoniyo's sinister voice, "It's Too Late, You Fools! Jigoku No Arashi Hariken!" With that, the tower of green and black flames exploded outwards in all directions, sending flames and a massive shockwave that could be felt in all corners of the island. With the flames gone, Yamoniyo's final form was revealed, showing a dark-green dragon standing over fifty feet tall. Three huge fangs protruded from the snout, two on the upper jaw and one on the bottom jaw between the two of the upper fangs.
As the crew was knocked aback by the destructive and powerful wave, Yamoniyo laughed at the crew and said, "Now It Is Time To Plunge This World Into Darkness." He positioned himself looking up to the crimson moon and began to recite an ancient spell. "Atat Tywyllwch, Y Byd Hwn Ei Eni, Ac I Mewn Tywyllwch, Bydd Yn Dychwelyd." Upon completing the spell, a sinister glow came from the dragon's mouth, shooting a beam of darkness at the moon. The beam took the shape of a dragon as it collided with the moon and began to slither across the moon's surface, shrouding it in total darkness. "Once I Have Covered The Moon With This Darkness, I Will Have Total Control Over It And Will Place It To Blanket This World In Total Darkness. All Will Be In My Domain. All Will Be Under My Power," said the malicious dragon as it laughed haughtily. Yamoniyo's laugh echoed across the island, causing the residents of the island to awaken and see the terrifying sight of the red moon being swallowed up by a dragon of darkness. Panic broke out as people were rushing to the boats docked along the island's coast.
Yamoniyo continued to bask in his glory, unaware that the Straw Hats weren't done yet. "Everyone," called out Robin, "get into your positions. We have to take this chance now." The exhausted and beaten crew began to slowly get to their feet. The crew rushed as fast as their weary legs would let them to their positions that they stood in on the Sunny's deck earlier. "Cien Fleur," called out Robin as a hundred arms bloomed from the ground in the same eight-pointed star pattern as before. Robin looked down at Wado Ichimonji and saw that it began to glow white and grow in brightness. A purplish aura began to resonate around her as she started to pass the blade along her hands to Luffy, the blade glowed brighter and a red aura began to appear around the captain. He passed the sword to the hands and watched as it made its way to Chopper. A pink aura appeared around the diminutive doctor as the sword continued its journey. With each exchange the the sword made, it grew brighter and auras appeared around the others: a black and white swirling aura with Brook, a yellow aura for Usopp, an orange on for Nami, a blue aura for Sanji, and Franky glowed it a light blue aura.
The brightness of Wado caught the eye of Yamoniyo, and he swung his tail towards Robin. The dragon's appendage was repelled by an invisible barrier, preventing the dragon from attacking the crew. "It's working. We'll have Zoro back soon," exclaimed the reindeer as his pink aura grew brighter with another pass of the sword. "Wolves, Kill Them," commanded the trapped dragon as his lupine cohorts appeared around the Straw Hats. They leaped towards the stationary pirates, but they too were repelled by an unseen force. "We just have to hold out a little longer," said Nami as the sword had made it to her. The sword was picking up speed as it continued to make its rounds causing the auras of the sword and crew to grow brighter. "If You Think I'll Let You Stop Me After All Of These Centuries, You Are WRONG," roared Yamoniyo as he began to thrash about within the barrier. His forceful actions shook the very ground as the Straw Hats struggled to stay standing up. "Hold on guys. We've got to save Zoro," yelled the young captain. The violent thrashing from Yamoniyo began to take its toll on the exhausted crew, as they resisted against their own fatiguing legs.
As the crew resisted against their own bodies, cracks began to form along the barrier containing Yamoniyo. "Everyone, grab hold onto the arms," said Robin as the crew responded by grabbing hold of her arms. She got into position again and said, "Noventa Fleur: Cage," as ninety arms extended from the ground and began to form a cage around the dragon. Before the cage of arms could form completely, Yamoniyo struck back. "You Think You Can Stop Me With This? You Can Not Stop Your DESTRUCTION," he yelled as he unleashed a hellish roar that shattered the barrier and caused the Straw Hats to fall.
Zoro looked on from the inside of his mind and watched as his friends' plan had failed. "I have to get out of here and stop this before she...," said the swordsman as he struggled against his bonds. "It's no use. We are trapped here for all of time and your friends are...," said the ancestor as he finally looked at the screen. His frail form struggled to stand, but he accomplished it. "It can't be. Is it really you, Casablanca," questioned the old man as he walked towards the window to the outside world. "Casablanca? No that's my nakama, Nico Robin," said the confused swordsman as he saw the frail old man turn towards him. "I suppose it is, but I get the feeling she means more than that to you," said the old man as he shambled over to Zoro. He took a piece of his tattered cloth in his hand, stretched out his arm, and placed it onto the swordsman's hand. "Take this, my descendant. It is the legacy of the Roronoa clan and yours to pass along," said the old man as he began to glow with a faded green aura.
The light flowed into Zoro's hand and throughout his body as he felt new vigor and strength. Jan grew older and more frail as he passed on the last of his spirit unto Zoro. Jan's body fell to the ground, but before a single knee touched it, Zoro's arm broke free from its bonds and caught the elderly man. The rest of Zoro broke out of the restraints and he lowered his ancestor down. "Go now, young Zoro. I pray that you will be able to do what I could not," said Jan as he relaxed. Zoro opened up his hand to see the cloth. A look of shock washed across his face as he saw a family crest, similar to that of Ryuuma's from Thriller Bark. It was a thistle blossom inside of a white circle on a black cloth. "What is this? Old man, tell me," said the swordsman, only to be hushed by the old man. "Learn of your legacy after you save it," he said as Zoro nodded. He carefully took his arms from behind the old man's head and made his way toward the cage wall. Zoro grabbed hold of the bars and ripped them out of their holds. He made his way over to the viewing port leading to the real world. "Now, how do I get out of here? This is my mind, but I'm not in control," said the swordsman as he stared into the portal, feeling powerless.
Yamoniyo could sense that Zoro had freed himself from his bonds, but he knew Zoro couldn't stop him now, since the transformation was complete. He looked towards the archaeologist as an evil sneer grew across his face. "Now, It Is Time To Rid The World Of You, And Then, The Light Itself," said Yamoniyo as he reared back, preparing to strike. All of the other Straw hats were too tired to get to stop the attack from hitting her, she was too weary to run. All she could do was grip the sword tightly as she shed a tear. She looked up at the dragon as he was about to attack and yelled, "Zoroooo! If you can hear me, I just wanted to let you know that I...that I..." She couldn't force herself to say the words, though she had said them before to the others. It was the thought of telling it to him that made her hesitant. As the dragon began to lunge forward, Robin swallowed her pride and fear, yelling out, "ZORO, I LOVE YOU!"
Zoro watched this confession from the portal and felt an overwhelming surge rush through his body. He yelled at the top of his lungs, "THIS STOPS NOW!" The hurtling dragon stopped as he was just a couple of feet from swallowing Robin whole. "No! This Is Not Possible! This Body Is Mine To Command," yelled out the dragon as he attempted to lunge forward. Zoro ran over to a wall and grabbed a hold of it with both hands. "YOU'RE GONNA STOP, AND I'M GONNA RIP MY WAY OUT OF HERE," yelled the swordsman as he positioned his arms to rip his way out through the wall. "You May Be Stopping My Body, But You Cannot Stop My Breath. I Am Going To Destroy This Bitch, And There Is Nothing You Can Do To Stop Me," yelled Yamoniyo as he took in a deep breath, preparing to roast Robin alive. Zoro gritted his teeth as the wall gave way, yelling, "YES...I...WIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLL!" With all of his might, he ripped through the wall, which in turn, created a hole through the center of the dragon's chest. Green flames flew out from the hole as Zoro's body fell through it as well. His nakama all gasped as they saw their first-mate's silhouette outlined by the fiery hole fall out of the dragon's chest. Robin reacted as fast as she could, sprouting arms from the ground to catch Zoro and bring him towards her. The giant dragon convulsed as the flames flew out of the hole in its chest, and Yamoniyo fell to the ground, having had his host removed.

A/N: First off, I want to apologize for the HUUUUUUUUGE delay that came between the previous chapter and this one. Many things have happened in my life since I last updated, mostly school and military. Not to mention the writer's block that came with this chapter, hence why "Demons Honing Their Claws" got started.
But the funny thing is, I had written the next chapter before the 12th chapter actually. I had to make these last two chapters good enough to lead into that chapter, especially with the intensity you are about to read. Chapter 15 will come out exactly one week after this chapter. I guarantee it. Just enough time to get everyone excited about what happens next and to calm themselves down from this chapter.
If you've been reading along this entire time, you can tell from that I want only the best stuff for you guys. I appreciate everyone's feedback as well as their support for my first post-time skip story, "Demons Honing Their Claws." As soon as these next two chapters are up, I'll be hard at work on these two projects once again.
Who knows? Maybe, I'll do some more one-shots or do a full LuVi short multichap for a bit as well? Any thoughts on that?
