Aurora POV

I wasn't sure if I was happy, sad, pissed off, or apathetic towards the whole situation at this moment. Randy knew to give me space and John was in the ring at the moment. I was hiding out on a back dock. I didn't want to talk to anyone because I didn't even know where to start.

"Hey?" a voice said and I turned to see Dean. I sighed and looked back towards the city. He honestly was the last person I wanted to see.

"I wanted to talk." he said and I didn't respond. I felt the crates shift when he sat down; he was persistent.

"What do you want?" I finally asked as I plucked the cigarette out of his fingers and took a drag. He looked surprised, but didn't try to get it back.

"To talk." he said.

"I got that part… talk about whatever it is you want to talk about." I said and he sighed.

"I'm sorry doesn't cover everything that's happened, but I want to know why… why Cena?" he asked me and I chuckled.

"I have known John for a long time… you can't fight it forever." I admitted and he looked surprised.

"So… it was an act?" he asked me and I looked at him confused. He pointed between us.

"No, I did like you. You were different and you showed it when you were around me. I liked it, and I had hoped that you weren't going to cheat on me with her. I guess it was just stupid to think that." I admitted to him.

Dean POV

I sat there and listened to Aurora. I knew that she had seen me and Renee. I never got to explain my side of the story. I knew that I had wanted to kiss her, but I also instantly knew that it was a mistake. I never meant to hurt Aurora and I never meant to drive her to John.

"You weren't stupid. I am an asshole. I did kiss Renee, but I regretted it the instant it happened. I didn't think you would see it. It doesn't make it better, but I didn't want to hurt you. You have to believe that." I said and she sighed.

"I can believe it, but it doesn't change anything now." she said and I nodded. I knew that once John dates someone they are hooked because he assures it until he's bored of them.

"It can change to friends." I said and she looked at me conflicted. We had never slept together, so it wasn't completely awkward.

"Yeah, because John is going to like this." she said and pointed between us. I sighed and knew that she was right. She stood up to walk away from me, but I grabbed her arm.

"I'm sorry." I whispered and pulled her in for a kiss. She struggled for a second, but then responded. I had missed the feeling of her arms sliding over my shoulders. She stepped away and looked at me. She was going to say something when the door flung open; it was Randy.

"What the hell?" he asked as she tore her gaze way from me.

"I came out here a second ago and he was out here. He didn't do anything, so just shut the fuck up." she said and he looked from me to her. I shrugged and he slowly nodded.

"You are needed." he said to her. She stole one last glance at me before walking into the building. The kiss had made my night.

Randy POV

"He wasn't bothering you?" I asked Aurora.

"No, if anything I bothered him." she said and I nodded as we headed towards gorilla position.

"Wait, what's going on?" she asked me as she looked around.

"You are debuting tonight." I said and I saw her fist clinch.

"I know you don't like it, I don't think it's fair, but I need you to do this right now." I said and she sighed.

"You have asked for a lot." she mumbled and nodded.

"Thanks sis." I said and explained to her what was going to happen. John walked up as I finished.

"You need me to wait with you?" he asked her.

"No, go to the trainer, but keep an eye on Randy." she told him and he exchanged glances with me before walking off.

I went out and was talking to the crowd when Kane came out. People were still wanting The Authority to get back together, but I had to deal with this part of the storyline. I was talking to him when Rollins come out dragging Aurora. She was playing her part rather well, but I knew that she probably really was struggling. She really didn't want this.

"Orton, look what I got!" Seth said as Aurora tried to get away from him.

"Leave her alone." I said as Kane tried to come at me. I punched him as I heard the crowd go wild. I looked up to see Seth trying to kiss Aurora. I knew that was his way of spicing up the storyline, but he paid for it when she kicked him in the stomach and RKO'ed him. I had to stay in character, but I wanted to laugh when she perfectly executed the move. The crowd was now in a freezy as she was backing down the ramp, away from Seth, as I ran to her. I grabbed her and she was ready to swing again.

"Come on." I said and pulled her off the ramp and we went around the back.

"You did great." I said and she took a deep breath.

"Never admit to dad that I liked that." she said and i started laughing.

"Nice, RKO." I said and hugged her.

"You gotta cut down on the baby oil." she said and I feigned hurt as J0hn came running up.

"You couldn't even tell your boyfriend?" he asked her and I saw Dean nearby. He looked jealous when he said that to her. I wasn't sure why, but I felt for Dean. I also knew better than to interfere in her life, but I had a feeling more had happened outside earlier.
