I lay on a bed in the hospital wing, Lily sat on a chair beside me.

" Don't worry about it. You're over thinking it. You could be sick for a completely different reason," she said.

" My thing didn't come last month and it was supposed to come two days ago and it still hasn't," I said. Madame Pomfrey walked towards us with a piece of parchment in her hand.

" I'm afraid you were right Miss Simon. Here are the results and what you can do about the baby," she said. " I'll give you a few minutes."

I looked at the parchment.

Conceived: 3/11/77

Due: 4/8/78

Gender: Female

Parents: Taylor Simon and unknown.

I looked at Lily and then handed it to her.

" I can't get rid of her. That's murder," I said.

" It would be too hard to give it up for adoption," Lily said.

" I'll keep her, but I can't do it alone," I said.

" You won't have to," she said, as the doors to the hospital wing flew open and Sirius and James ran in.

" Daffy said you were here. What happened?" Sirius gasped, out of breath. Lily handed him the parchment and he read it. He looked at me and Lily stood up.

" Come on James, I've homework to do," she said, grabbing him by the hand and pulling him away. Sirius sat in Lily's empty chair.

" It'll be fine T, I'll be right beside you until she's born," he said.

" How do I tell everyone? I'm going home tomorrow, my parents will probably hate me. I won't be able to stay there and Lily is going to see her grandparents and Daffy's house can't hold another person," I said.

" You can stay with me and James, the Potters won't mind," he said.

" I'd be imposing," I replied.

" They love guests," he said.

" I'll think about it," I said.

" Good. Do you want something to eat?" He asked.

" Not really," I said, swinging my legs off the bed and standing up.

" Are you sure? Because you're eating for two now," he said.

" Sirius, are you hungry?" I asked and he nodded. " Then I will come with you so you can get food."

" Thanks," he said, taking my hand. He kissed my forehead and mumbled something that I couldn't understand.

" What?" I asked.

" Nothing," he said, with a smile.
