Toni was shoved abruptly into a cell with a battered looking man with a goatee and a glowing circle in the middle of his chest. He frowned. "Rhodey?" he asked weakly.

"Huh? Oh. JARVIS, remove faceplate please," Toni said.

"Of course." The faceplate slid up.

"Sorry, Mr. Stark. I'm Toni. Toni Pond," she introduced herself.

He nodded and waved. "You know who I am, I take it."

"I certainly do. I'm your rescue."

"Oh, wonderful. Did your plan include getting caught?"

"Absolutely," she lied. She shook her head. "No, not really. But that's okay, we can improvise."

"Nice suit."

"Like it? We call it Sneaky. It's a stealth suit. It is virtually invisible to early-warning systems. The armor can darken or lighten to match the environment," Toni recited proudly.

Tony's eyes widened. "You're kidding?" He sat up straighter. "Who built that?"

"Remember Bethany Cabe?" Toni asked.

He sighed. "That's a name I wasn't sure I'd hear again. Is she alright?"

"She, and Ms. Potts, and Rhodey are coming to rescue you," Toni announced. "And me."

"Pepper? No, she can't come," Tony said, starting and folding his arms. "This'd be too dangerous."

"We couldn't stop her," Toni explained. "She has a suit too. We call it Nightclub. It's another stealth suit. It has more weapons than Sneaky here," she rapped on her suit. "But it's primarily designed for stealth missions," she said.

Tony sat back. "Bethany?"

"Heartbreaker! It's an artillery level RT suit with an oversized chest RT, which can fire owerful blasts, narrow or wide beams. It can also generate a repulsor shield for protection."

"That woman is insane."

"Bethany?! Insane?!" Toni laughed. "She's a genius! Don't worry, we'll have you out of here soon."

He sighed. "I hope so. AIM is using my tech to attempt a strike on New York. If they succeed, they'll take over Philadelphia, Washington D.C., San Francisco. The U.S.'s biggest cities."

She gasped. "Jerks."

"Exactly."

~With our backs to the wall, the darkness will fall~

Bethany stood. "JARVIS, status?"

"Recharge complete on Heartbreaker, War Machine and Nightclub, Ms. Cabe."

"Thanks, JARVIS." She ignited the thrusters.

Pepper followed suit.

Rhodey hovered. "So, where are we going again?"

"We're going to Albany, New York."

"What? It was just outside New York, New York the whole time?!" Pepper cried.

"Irritatingly enough, yes," Bethany said.

Rhodey sighed. "Let's go to Albany."

~We never quite thought we could lose it all~

"You know, of course, they'll be coming for Stark and the other one?"

"Of course." Actor turned. "And when they do, we take them as well."
