Shots In The Dark: The Taiorato Collection

Disclaimer: Two things. One.)Sonfaro has not now, nor ever has owned anything involving or relating to Digimon. He just has a lot of fun writing about them. Do not sue.
Two.) Unlike oneshot, which has a set ending, I'll just post little stories in here that I write about anything dealing with these three characters that has no place in any other story. There is no time table for these, only when inspiration moves me. The next installment may be days, weeks, months, minutes later. Sonfaro hopes you enjoy them when they finally arrive. Thanks. - Sonfaro
Fourteen.) Snow
Sora Takenouchi hadn't always loved snow.
When she was younger she hated it. Snow meant no outside recess, which meant no soccer, which meant no Tai. Sure they were in the same class, but he sat two rows back and the few times they'd attempted to whisper beneath their lessons or pass notes they'd been caught and sent home with notes. Some of the kids had even teased them about like-liking each other, which Tai always denied and Sora always found puzzling. It meant they'd have to trounce back to school slowly in their snow boots so that they wouldn't hurt themselves slipping on the black ice, while wearing layer upon layers of cloth that was stifling and limiting to move in. Sora was happiest in summer, with the sun and rain and mud and Soccer, and Tai. And as far as she knew, there could be no changing that.
As she grew older though, Sora began to appreciate it. She still got annoyed when snow cancelled soccer or tennis, and still missed playing around outside with Tai, but the negatives were outweighed by the positive of hanging out with Matt. Matt loved the stuff. He once told her that his first memories included he and his father building a snowman outside before coming back inside for hot cocoa with his mother cradling T.K. in her arms. And while having such fun with his parents had become a distant memory, Matt was thrilled when he finally convinced Sora to come outside in the cold.
It was snowing the day Matt led her up the hill near his grandmothers during their eighth anniversary. It crunched softly under her boot heels with every step she took. And when Matt suddenly stopped and kneeled behind her, the snow clung to his dark blonde hair in a way that made him look so innocent that the 'yes' slipped off her tongue before he had even asked.
They were sick for a week afterwards, as happens when it snows in your life. But the red nosed pictures they sent their friends bundled up together, the diamond shining like a snowflake on the ring, was worth it. Tai would later tell her he'd never seen her happier than that winter, with the snow and ice and cocoa and Matt. And as far as she knew there could be no changing that.

A/N: Oh. Hi there. I'm Sonfaro, and I used to post on here alot. You'll notice I haven't in a while. That's for a few reasons.
A.) I'm a professional actor/singer with a busy schedule.
B.) I'm becoming more interested in doing original work. Especially in light of FFN authors getting book deals off some of their stuff. (Seriously though, a One Direction fan got signed because her lemon fic has a lot of foot traffic on the internet. -_-)
Rest assured those few who still follow my stuff, I'm still working on it. The next chapter of Memoirs of Victory should happen before August... in theory. I will Finish Anniversary before I log off for good. But if it's months and months (and months) before I post something again... "A" and "B" are why.
Anyway, thanks for those who read these little oneshots and drabbles. Check out my other stuff (If you want hilariously bad fics search the older stuff). I also highly recommend Tanya Takaishi's stuff in general; if you haven't read Innocent Games yet you're missing out!
Happy reading -
Sonfaro
