ARC IV - Hearts Festival
Chapter 14 - Meet Sylvia
It was the time of the Special High School Festival. The school was jam-packed with people coming in and out, the hallways was littered with booths and stalls as far as the eyes can see, everyone was busy and everyone was trying something.
"Special High School, this is it. Its so far from Johto." a brown haired girl with pigtails was entering the gate of the school.
"Hi, please try our game booth."
"Uhh,"
"Would you like some yakisoba and takoyaki?"
"Well..."
"Come to our classroom for the best foie gras croissant ever!"
"Excuse me..."
"Hey lady, you going to buy or what?"
"Ummm..."
"LYRA!"
Suddenly, the girl was pulled aside by another girl with pigtails but the peculiar thing was she was wearing a maid outfit.
"I'm so happy you could come, hehe." Crystal said happily while walking with the new girl.
"Uhh, yeah. Crys, can I ask you something?" Lyra said while pointing to the maid outfit. Crystal laughed with embarrassment and sighed, "Well, you see..." And then Crystal told Lyra the story of how she was forced by Gold to make the class activity into a maid cafe because she lost a bet that Gold could pull off a perfect score on a Math Test.
"Oh, so that's why." Lyra said as they were walking towards the Johto classroom. The Johto was full of girls wearing maid outfit while the boys man the register and the kitchen. And the floor coordinator is none other than...
"WELCOME TO MY SWEET CAFE, HOW MAY THESE BEAUTIFUL LADIES HEL~" Gold said in a very, very elated fashion with added feelings and tears.
*smack*
"Who on earth told you it was your cafe?!" Crystal punched Gold, hard, again and again.
"Hehe, I was just kidding." Gold said trying to run away from Crystal who is still in a flesh- beating fury. "Stop, Crys. Ow! I said I'm sorry."
Crystal let out a big sigh before letting Lyra in the classroom. The three talked about Lyra's travel towards the school from Johto and what was her first impression of the school.
"Oh, you must want to check out the other classrooms right?" Gold said while snickering. Lyra nodded, and Gold whistled, signaling someone to come out.
"Lyra, this is Sylvia. She'll be escorting you around the school." Lyra was a bit shocked at the girl. She was wearing a beautiful maid outfit yet it looks like she has very broad shoulders. She also wouldn't make eye contact with her and she doesn't like to be touched.
"Uhh, nice to meet Sylvia. So you're going to show me around?" Lyra said acknowledging the girl.
"Uhh, hi." Sylvia said in a high squeaky voice. 'Damn it, I can't speak well like a girl. That damn Gold, he must be enjoying this.' The girl looked at Gold and Crystal and saw them trying to keep in their laughter. The girl then remembered the events leading to this uh, predicament.
*flashback*
"No way I'm going to do that." Silver said almost disapproves Gold's suggestion of cross dressing.
"Come on Silver. you're the one who wanted to know what Lyra thinks of you." Gold insisted on the idea. The truth was Silver and Lyra has been friends for a long time, the only problem was he was unsure if if this was the time to do it. Plus, there was also the instance of Lyra not meeting Blue and vice versa.
*sigh* "Okay fine, I'll do it."
"Great! Let's do it! Come on, let's go to my room." Gold then dragged Silver to his room, got Ruby to make him a dress.
*flashback over*
"Okay, I think its time for Sylvia to show Lyra around the school building." Gold then pushed Lyra and Silver uh, sorry Sylvia out the door. "Now time to go back to my lovely cafe. E-eh?" Gold then turned to see Crystal's murderous aura.
"Who's cafe is this again?" Crystal then proceeded to throw steak knives at Gold who manages to evade them.
"Uhh, Sylvia, where should we go first?" Lyra asked Sylvia.
"I-I guess, we should start with the haunted house." Sylvia thought about going to the Kanto classroom but then decided not to because Blue might see Lyra.
"Silver, is that you?" Sylvia immediately pushed Lyra to the stairs hearing Blue's voice.
"U-uhh, why are we running?" Lyra asked Sylvia who was busy with the running towards down the stairs to make sure no one from the Kanto classroom would ever, EVER see him.
"We're here." Sylvia said in a light, squeaky voice.
"O-okay." Lyra looked at the display. 'Why is it full of glitters? is this even a haunted house.' The display was full of red and blue glitters that gleamed. They entered the hallway to find a very pale guy with green hair wearing a blood stained polo.
"Welcome to the Hoenn Haunted Hallway or HHH, how may I be of ser~" Wally stopped in the middle of the sentence because he recognized Silver wearing a dress. "Uhh, Si-silv~" Wally was pushed aside by Sylvia.
"Listen Wally, it was a prank by Gold, just go with it." Wally nodded.
"Sorry about that, that would be 100 Pokedollars." Wally happily said. "Enjoy the sceneries."
"Uhh, this is scarier than I thought." Sylvia said to Lyra obviously lying. The hallway was filled with plastic heads with MORE glitter on them and velvety walls just makes it look campy. Then suddenly, someone dropped from the heavens.
"Bwahahaha..." a boy who is wearing a glimmering purple cape and a red tuxedo dropped by the heavens.
"Ruby, you idiot I told you to not do that." a girl wearing rags and covered in red paint showed up.
"But the entrance is the most important, and how you present yourself." Ruby got up and started arguing.
"Nu-uh, the way you be scary is more important, you prissy." Sapphire shouted getting in Ruby's face.
"Entrance!" Ruby shouted back.
"Scary!"
"Entrance!"
"Scary!"
"Barbarian!"
"Prissy!"
Then suddenly, the two of them was limping on the ground, a hearty yet sinister laughter was heard from behind.
"You two have been naughty and therefore are deserving a good round at electrocution." Suddenly, Emerald appeared who is wearing a white wig, impersonating Dr. Frankenstein, he was holding a remote that apparently shocked Ruby and Sapphire (A/N: Shocking, isn't it? Sorry, I had to.)
"Uhh, I think we should leave them alone." Lyra said to Sylvia who nodded. It was best to leave the mayhem behind.
"So, Miss Escort. Where are we headed next?" Lyra asked Sylvia who was not responding. "Hey, umm... Miss Sylvia." Lyra tugged at Sylvia's dress which shocked the boy and quickly pulled back.
"I-I'm sorry." Lyra quickly said facing downward.
"It's okay." Silver quickly said.
"Umm, is there something wrong with your voice?" Lyra asked knowing that the voice she heard was from a guy's.
"No, uhh. I think we should head to the Sinnoh Cafe now." Sylvia said in a high squeaky voice.
"Okay."
As the hours passed the two of them went through a lot of booths and stalls and they went through almost all of the classrooms. Then suddenly, it was the end of the school festival. They stood in the middle of the school fountain while some of the school officials started to make the bonfire.
"So uhh, why did you come here?" Sylvia asked Lyra who was watching the faculties make the bonfire.
"Well, umm, I was hoping to spend time with a certain someone,"
'Is she thinking about me?'
"but I guess he's too busy or something."
"So who is this certain someone?"
"Well, ummm, its a secret."
"Okay, can you at least describe about this certain someone?"
"Well, he's very stern, he doesn't smile often like he should, he's very serious all the time and he doesn't realize that he can push people away of he acts all cold."
'Well this is hard, I've never been in this position before. I guess that's what she thinks about me. I guess I should've known better.' Silver wanted to say something, no coming from Sylvia but form Silver, he wanted to reveal that Sylvia was Silver, that this was just a plan to known what does Lyra think of Silver. But he was too hurt to say something, he wanted to shout for the second time in his life. He tried to say something.

"But he's very kind, he's the kind of person that doesn't sit around when his friends are hurt, he tries so hard to be with other people. I like the way he is, I wish he was here though."
"Bye, Lyra!" Gold waved Lyra goodbye at the gate of the school.
"Yeah, see you next week." Crystal shouted.
"So Lyra's going to go here now?" Gold asked Crystal.
"Yeah."
"Great, more ladies."
The speed of the punch Crystal made at Gold was incomprehensible that Gold started shining as he was knocked into another dimension
"Special High School huh? I wonder what will be my life there? I hope it's good."
Well this is the start of the new arc. I'm so sorry for the bad writing on this one, its been stuck in my head for too long and a few parts got tweaked and revised. I hope you like it though. Please review and tell me what you think :)
