Breaking Free Part 14

A/N I do not own Rizzoli and Isles, I, along with a thousand other fanfic authors, just write them as they should be. Long live Rizzles.

Jane absolutely loved this feeling. When she was on top of a full bosomed, naked Maura. In between slick, spread thighs, thrusting, penetrating, slipping and sliding in and out aided by the copious wetness born of their passion. She loved the feel of Maura pulling the straps to the strap-on, making it ride against her clit harder as she pounded into the smaller woman.

Sometimes she wished she had a penis to really know how it would feel to be tightly sheath inside her woman. Jane thought it was strange that even though the phallus was not real, she swore she could actually feel Maura's vagina contracting and relaxing as they both spiraled towards climax.

She watched her love, sometimes she still couldn't believe that someone as beautiful as her could be attracted to herself, the 'Plain Jane'.

Jane watched as Maura reached the point of no return. She knew that it was now time to make sure she carried her lover over the zenith of their love making and down the other side.

Adding a hip roll at the end of each thrust caused Maura to acknowledge the new move with a desperate grasp and a fierce gaze with widen, hazel eyes. Jane felt herself get closer to cumming. Knowing she wouldn't last much longer, Jane doubled down and increased her speed.

Soon, she was swept up along with Maura as they both crested amid clenching muscles and panting breaths. After a few minutes of being lost in the white noise, muscles relaxed and Jane rolled off her lover. After quickly stripping off the strap-on, she rolled over so Maura could cuddle into her side.

"I needed that Maur, all the stress." Jane gently brought her arm around her lover and rubbed her shoulder and arm.

"Jane, for right now let's just let everything stay on the other side of our bedroom door and just rest."

Jane inhaled and nodded in agreement. Tomorrow would come soon enough. Tomorrow Maura would exhume Casey's body and conduct a second autopsy.

Next Morning, Monday, 8:00 am BPD

Cavanaugh was making his morning rounds. Checking in where he needed to or just nodding hello to the detectives, acknowledging their presence. He did a double take when he saw the top of a head with dark curly hair. Changing his path, he headed over to talk with his top detective. Quietly he took a seat at Jane's desk.

"Morning Rizzoli." Sean stated kindly.

"Good morning, Sir. May I help you with something?" Jane eyed her superior.

Sean took a moment to take in the Jane Rizzoli, hero cop. A cop's cop. She deserved all the happiness this world could offer. He liked to think that maybe he had a small hand in making her who she was, but no he could take no credit for her drive or instinct for the job. She was born to do this.

"No, I was wanting to check in with you. You know you don't have to be on the job today. I would understand if you want to get out of here."

Jane studied her boss and then looked away. It was tempting, but the girls were back in school and the only people at home were Joe and Bass.

"No thank you, sir, I think I would better serve my time being here. If doing nothing else but riding a desk, doing paperwork." Jane replied in all honesty.

"Well if at any time today you feel you need to leave, just give me a heads up that you're leaving, other than that feel free to go." He hesitated, but finally added. "I know it might be hard with what's going on in the morgue today."

"You mean with Casey and Maura doing her thing?" Jane said as she tossed a pen aside and gave Sean her full attention since he was getting personal.

"It can't be easy." Sean stated carefully examining Jane's face.

"Sir, do you have something you want to ask me?" Detective Rizzoli came to life in a second. He may be her mother's companion, but she would not tolerate half assed back handed questions.

Sean sat back and chuckled to himself, he should have known better.

"No Rizzoli, I was really trying to let you know that I'm there for you. I guess I need to work on my people skills, yeah?"

Jane just looked at him.

"Ahem…well…I guess I better get to that paperwork, I got a pile myself." With that, Sean stood and quickly made his way to his office and shut the door.

Jane watched the now closed door, pondering what Sean was trying to get at. Finally, she decided to let it go and turned back to her paperwork. Besides, it could be that he was just trying to reach out to her, after all he was dating her mother.

9am Cemetery

Maura watched along with Frost and Korsak as the heavy machinery removed the dark soil from the grave of Casey Jones.

"God, I'll be happy to put this case behind me." Korsak looked around, he always hated desecrating graves. It never seemed right disturbing the dead.

Frost watched as the men hooked the casket to a hook and chain and started lifting it from its resting place.

"Man, I'd hate to be a grave digger." He watched as the box tilted sharply and he suddenly had an image of a zombie Casey falling out and coming after them. Before his imagination went totally wild, Maura spoke up.

"You know, Detective Frost, the official name for grave diggers is Fossor root of Fossus. It's Latin, the past participle for Fodder. It's first known use was around 1833."

Frost and Korsak looked at one another.

Maura gave them a look.

"Too much?" Maura asked hesitantly.

Both men answered in unison.

"No, no, Dr. Isles, we love your fun factoids."

Maura beamed.

4:28pm Morgue Autopsy Room

Maura was finishing the last of the Y stitching on Casey Jones, when Susie came into the morgue.

"Good afternoon Susie, what can I do for you?" Maura asked without pausing her work.

"Dr. Isles, I finally finished processing the victim's clothes and I found a large amount of GSR on his shirt." Susie replied as she studied Rizzoli's deceased husband. Personally, she never could stand him. There was something about him that gave her the creeps whenever he was around her.

"Good work, Senior Criminalist Chang. Your findings support mine. Walk with me, please." Maura directed as she turned to the industrial sinks located along the wall. Reaching forward she turned on the tap with the foot pedal while unwrapping a bar disinfectant soap.

Susie watched as her hero thoroughly washed all the way up past her elbows. She found herself, for once, feeling brave enough to ask a personal question. Should she though? Probably not.

"Sooo you and Detective Rizzoli, eh?"

Maura stopped the process of drying off and looked at Chang. Her subordinate stood there in front of her and the doctor could tell that Susie was wishing for the proverbial hole to pop up and swallow her whole. She decided to go easy on her Senior Criminalist.

"Yes, Rizzoli."

Susie wanted to jump for joy, but chose to play it cool.

"Nice, you go Dr. Isles." Susie's face almost held the smile that was just this side of bursting forth.

Maura shook her head and decided to table this conversation.

"Susie gather everything relevant to this case so we can put together a file of findings for the detectives."

Susie nodded once and dashed away.

Maura finished drying and tossed away the paper towel. Heading to her office she sat down and called, Rob, her lab tech and instructed him to prepare Casey's body for transport back to the cemetery tomorrow. After preparations were made, return the body to cold storage.

When she hung up, Susie returned and she sat down and turned over all the reports to her boss. Chang sat quietly as Maura read over the papers.

Maura confirmed it was as she thought. She would never understand how Popov kept his license. She would really have to make time to reevaluate her group of pathologists.

"Thank you Senior Criminalist Chang, thank you for your hard work. You are truly an asset to my staff."

Susie blushed a bit at the hard earned praise.

Thank you, Dr. Isles."

"You are most welcomed."

Susie stood and left the office.

Maura picked up her phone again and dialed Korsak's extension. When she didn't get an answer, she disconnected and dialed Frost.

"Frost."

"Detective Frost, this is Dr. Isles."

Frost smiled, he loved it when Maura got all official. He, like Jane, had accepted the quirky side of their M.E. with a smile. Truth be known, if known only to him, when he thought about his partner and the Doc together, things came to life. He was a man who loved the ladies after all.

"Detective Frost?"

"Yes, Dr. Isles, I'm here."

"I have my findings on the Jones case finished. Are you and Korsak available to go over them?"

Frost looked over at Vince's empty desk and sighed.

"Korsak is at the Division One Café, right now. I'll go and grab him and then we will come to you, is that okay?"

"That's fine, I'll be waiting."

Frost hung up and headed to Cavanaugh's office.

"Hey, Lieutenant, Dr. Isles has her findings. I'm going to grab Korsak and head down to her office."

"Praise Jesus, now maybe we can put this case to bed and move on. Thanks for keeping me informed, Frost."

Frost smiled and left the bullpen. He was happy himself that this case was hopefully coming to an end.

Only the results would tell in time.
