Hey-Ho your author Gulefritz is here for another chapter of Decision: Game of fate! Haha!

It seems people still like this story, therefore I will try to see if I can regularly update my story, now let us continue hmm.

Back in the still burning city of Yungle, Timur enters the command tent of the Mongol camp. Inside sits Temujin on a throne made out of gold decorated with jade from Song quarries. This snow leopard clearly has been busy in the south. Surrounding him are four women, three snow leopards and one orange tiger, no doubt Siberian. These are his wives, come to support their husband in his conquest of the middle kingdom.

He smiles as he looks upon Timur entering the room, surprised he was able to do as he requested by letter, taking the highlands of Yungle is no easy task, even taking out Vachir, then again, he is Mongol, the strongest of the strong. He rises as Timur walks before him and kneels.

"Ahh, Khan Timur of the Gengki, Lord of the Timurids, Vanguard of Tengri. I see you have done as I ordered you to, and put some exstra to it. The death of Commander Vachir and Khaness Kara-Khitai is a success worthy of respect"

Timur would look down into the ground, seeking to avoid eye contact with the Khan. A silence continues for some time before Timur finally speaks.

"Only Commander Vachir fell during the battle of Yungle city. The Kara-Khitai has reached the Valley of peace, I tried to stop them, but was stopped myself by the masters of the Jade Palace"

The Khan would be silent and after some time he begins to laugh at what he has heard. Timur looks surprised and confused at his Khan.

"I expected her to live, and now the Masters of the Valley of Peace has started fighting us. Why fight two enemies when we can isolate one? Send out the Timurids, tell Kushluk to cut the bonds of the Thread of Hope, with its fall all hope for the survival of Jin will fall. As for you Timur"

Timur stands up and looks at the Khan.

"I need you to start the siege of Zhongdu (AU: Beijing) begin it, but do not force your way into the city, bleed it dry and wait for my arrival before you storm the city. Lord Tengri has sent me a vision, in a nearby cave a weapon that will remove all of our enemies with one strike. The hammer of Tengri, lord of the Sky!"

Boom! The deafening sound of thunder come as the Mongols god is by name and title. Rain soon follows a rain that spreads all over Jin. Meanwhile in the Valley of Peace, a confused and angry snow leopard can be heard from miles around. Before him stands "His mother", a khaness of the Mongol steppes no less.

"You're my mother! My mother is of the Mongol steppes, I am a Mongol. I am one of the barbarians who terrorize and pillage all of China! You are my Mother! Wait! Who is my father?"

Kara would look down into the ground, clearly sad to think what happened to her mate, to her husband. After some time does she finally deside to look up and looks straight into the eyes of Tai Lung.

"Your Father, Khan Karan, mighty Khan of the Kara-Khitai, died during a meeting between the Gengki, Merkits and our own tribe. Assasins from the Merkits, under the orders of Temujin killed your father for not supporting his uniting of the Mongol hordes, believing we would be subdued after this"

Kara would begin to tear up, telling the story of her husband. Her words feel like stone. Tai Lung is also affected by the story, not with tears no. he is angered, he is feeling hatred. Hatred towards Temujin, hatred towards the Mongols, hatred towards himself for being of the Mongol people.

"It was when your father died, I left you here in the valley of peace, I knew you would have a better live here, or atleast better than back in the steppes. It seems I was right, considering you're a master of Kung Fu, and you have a good looking girlfriend"

Tai Lung's jaw would literally fall on the last remark, he is about to speak back but his mother quickly shuts him up.

"She is the only other feline who trains Kung Fu, she couldn't keep her eyes of you when we went back from the thread and your scent is filled with hers. Unless you're very close to your friends, does it seem you and that tiger are lovers, besides she has listened in, in our converation"

Tai Lung would let out a sigh, he feels his cheeks turn red as he. His thougts suddenly goes to Tigress, who would be right behind him, trying to find words to say, but would blush aswell, unable to say anything she just walks up to Tai Lung, their tails begin to tie together, Kara smiles.

"Just like me and Karan, only difference he had to pick me, while you two decided all on your own"

Meanwhile, down in Mr. Pings noddle shop, Mia is working the dishes as she notices Ping. She smiles at him. In her time with Mr Ping has she grown to like the old man. She likes working inside the Restaurant, she likes doing the Dishes, and she likes serving the people of the Valley, though some are more "impolite" than others, which angers her some.
Outside, Mia notices several snow leopards walking. Not having heard of Tai Lungs return, she wonders who these people are. She notices they wear armor, and they enter the restaurant.

"Who are you?"

Both soldiers would look at her, surprised to find a tiger inside a goose restaurant, especially since she is of Bengali descent, the Bengali being the most intolerant towards smaller birds of all the tigers.

"We're warriors of Khaness Kara-Khitai. We seek refuge from the Hordes of Temujin. I am Cheng, and this is Ling"

The other snow leopard would bow before her, he smiles at her, and she returns the gesture with a nod.

"Our Khaness is at the Jade Palace, speaking with the masters of the valley, especially the one who is of our own kin"

Mia, and ping who has listened in and walked up to Mia by now, reacts to this with an instant reaction.

"You say there is a master of -your- kin, a snow leopard?"

Both soldiers nod.

"That son of a-. Ping, I am going to the Jade Palace, can I have the day off?"

"You can and I will go with you, if these men speak truth, my son has returned to the Valley"

Both Kara-Khitai soldiers look confused at one another, they deside to shrug and sits at an table. Better sit and wait, hoping for them to serve in the night, than walk the city in this heat.

Meanwhile, the Jade Palace. Tai Lung, Tigress and Kara sits together with Master Shifu at the Pond of heavenly wisdom. All, except Kara, would be meditating, Kara simply sits and watch them, but also relax after one day of hardship.
Suddenly the doors slap open, making all masters and khaness jump up, their guards raised right up until they see it's Mia Dong of the Noddle Shop, and Mr. Ping. Both of them looks at Tai Lung whose hand holds Tigress'es, their tails also united.

"Where is he!"

Mia would be the one yelling. Tai Lung knew he forgot something, he forgot his father and friend. He would put his hand behind his back head and walks forward, only to be slapped by Mia.

"Wha-"

"That, Tomcat! Is for making us believe you were dead!"

She slaps him again.

"And that is for not speaking to us when you arrived! How long have you been without saying?"

She softens up, and notices the paw and tails united between the two felines, she looks hurt, hearthbroken even, she raises her paw to strike him, but never do so. He looks back at her, not knowing what to say. He finally speaks.

"Mia… I am so glad to see you!"

He walks forward, leaving Tigress behind, looking at his "father" and Mia.

"Father, Mia, I am sorry for not coming to the shop right away, but I returned to the Valley four days ago. I intended to visit you people earlier but I… I was too tired to go you, I was near exhausted when I returned, and I had other things to think of"

Mia points an accusing claw at Tigress.

"Like that"

Tai Lung would look at Mia with an angry look, he sighs.

"Yes Mia, I decided to love Tigress, just like she loves me. I am sorry, but I cannot give you what you seek in me"

Mia would turn into tears and run outside the temple, her head in her paws. Tai Lung would go after her, only to be stopped in his tracks by Tigress who shakes her head at him.

"Let her go, she will be better alone"

At the thread of Hope, Kushluk and the Timurids arrive at the rope bridge. They look around for any enemies, but find it all empty. He grunts and signal for the men to cut the ropes.
The thread of hope, the one connection between the Empire of Jin and the rest of China to the Valley, no longer exists. Now, no one is able to walk back and forth, thus allowing the Mongols to lay siege to Zhongdu, without having to fear the Kung Fu masters of the Jade Palace.

At Zhongdu, the emperor of Jin, Shao the mighty, one big tiger. He, together with Temutai, warrior king of Thi-Dah stands upon the Palace walls. They look over the field, as massive amounts of people enter the Walls of the city, behind them smoke rise. The Horde of Genghis Khan has arrived.

War cries, echoing through the valley spreads as the smoke appears. Where the Mongols go, ash is all that is remaining of the once majestic wooden buildings of Jin. Crops burned, women raped and slaughtered, men impaled on spears. However, some people have been spared, the monks, the elderly, and a few young men and women to look after their old people.

As the hordes of Genghis gets advance, panic spread out among the people seeking the safety of Zhongdu. The men guarding the gate is beginning to close the gate, and if they do not get there in time, they are dead.

The city walls of Zhongdu are tall and well defended. What is left of the imperial jin army is here, in the capital of the north. The wall itself is five meters tall. There are four gates, with only four ways to them. A moat would be covering the rest of the city.

Nonetheless, the hordes of Genghis Khan, believing this to be an easy victory charge the southern gate. With a ram, they hit the gate, but it costed many men just to reach the gate. Meanwhile at the walls, Mongol archers fire their accurate volleys at the defenders, but they are out ranged by the height of the wall.

Now, the crazy and fierce tactics of the Mongols show. As their men are shot by arrow, they take them out again. They wear silk under the armor, silk does not break and allows them to take the whole arrow out. But this is not the most eyecatching event of the day.

The Mongols slung their men onto the wall, by the use of long bamboo sticks. Their men gets up, ready to fight. The defenders of the wall is shocked, but quickly regain their senses and fight on, driving the invader into a rout.

Meanwhile at the gate, as the Mongols hit the gate it breaks more and more. However, the defenders of Zhongdu got something for the Mongols. Hot oil is left loose from the wall. It lands upon the Mongol warriors, and they flee, as the oil is set ablaze, burning anyone near it, to ash.

Just like the Mongols burned the lands of Jin, the soldiers of Jin burns the Mongol soldiers. The battle is lost for the Mongols and they are forced to retreat back to their camp. There they find the wrath of Timur.

"Temujin calls for these walls to be breached upon his arrival! I wish to see it done!"

"Bu-But sir! How! The walls are to thick for us to break. The gate is made of ironwood, the walls of marble"

"Glad you asked me Kushluk. You see. In the south, one of Temujins men found a very interesting formular in a temple"

Timur takes out a bag with a black powder in it.

"This, is going to break the walls, and with it, the empire of Jin!"
