First thing is first: I am SO beyond sorry that this chapter took so long. I had no idea it had been a month since my last update. I will NEVER neglect my readers again! I adore you guys!
Second: I originally Abel (a new character) Oliver but thought that, that was a little too generic for me and wanted something a little different so I named him Abel. I had to go through and change the name about 100 times so if you see any left over "Oliver" in the story, I apologize.
Now on to the Story! (be aware that this is a filler and sets up the next chapter)
The last thing Greer remembered was feeling something hard hit her head. She woke up in a room with stone walls and a hard, cold floor. She touched her head and found a small wound from whatever hit her and knocked her out. She had no idea where she was but she assumed from what her kidnapper said that she was in England. She sat up and watched at the wooden door opened and a redheaded women came into the room. "Greer...how lovely of you to finally awaken. You were asleep for quite some time." The women wore a very gracious smile on her face and she reached her hand out to Greer. Greer looked at her hand and the women noticed her hesitation. "Don't be shy. I am trying to help you." Greer took her hand and rose to her feet.
"Do you recognize me?"
Greer shook her head "No...but I know you must be Queen Elizabeth."
"Why is that?"
"Because you kidnapped me, obviously to get to Mary."
Elizabeth smiled "clever girl."
"I assure you that I won't be of any help. I would die before I betrayed Mary."
Elizabeth began to circle Greer like a vulture "Do you love Mary?"
Greer nodded "Yes."
"I believe she loves you as well. She will do anything to keep you alive. Especially because she has lost so many other friends. Aylee and Alison."
Greer held her breath. Greer knew exactly where this was going. A trade.
"She will sacrifice herself for you...I just know it."
"She won't! She is a Queen and she loves Scotland. She won't do it!"
"Well if she does not do it...you will die. Your life is in the hands of Mary. How does that make you feel?"
"Like I will die for a good cause. Scotland is my home and she will defend it."
Elizabeth smiled "She will defend it with YOUR life."
"I would be glad to die for Scotland. It is the way of the Scots."
Elizabeth looked towards the door and two very large men came into the room "As you wish."
She signaled the men to come over to her and one kicked her knee. She was forced to the ground and she yelled out in pain. Her hands were tied behind her back. She knew she needed to get out of this. She felt a man's hand connect with her throat and her mind began to panic "I am pregnant!" She lies. Greer could not figure out why she said it. It just slipped out.
Elizabeth turns around "What?"
"How can you torture a pregnant women? What would your mother think of that?" Greer did not know much of Queen Elizabeth, other than stories but every girl knew the story of Anne Boleyn. The women that loved a king and became his second wife only to be executed.
"How dare you bring my mother into this?!"
"Anne Boleyn knew what it was like to lose a child in the womb. Please...don't make me suffer the same fate." Greer knew she was lying. She was not pregnant but she knew such a lie could prolong her life until she could come up with something. She felt horrible playing on Elizabeth's love for her dead mother. She was not even sure that Elizabeth had any love for her mother at all, but she knew if she did still have an ounce of love in her heart that it could buy her some time.
Elizabeth looked at the men and clenched her fists. Greer saw the wheels turning inside Elizabeth's head "Take her to a room...a decent room. Tend to her head wound and be sure she does not ever leave that room! Deliver meals to her and that is it!" Elizabeth left the room and the men untied Greer and forced her to her feet.
Mary and Bash sat with the general of Scotland's army "We need a course of action before Elizabeth can decide on one."
Bash nodded "There is no way to surprise them."
The general agreed "We will need France. I see no way in doing this alone."
Mary got up and began to pace "King Henry has no reason to wish to join this war!"
Bash ran a hand through his hair "What about Kenna? She was hurt during the first attack."
"Kenna is not Henry's true love. If it was Diane it would be different but it's not, it's Kenna."
The general tapped his fingers in the table "Maybe we can convince him some other way. Everyone knows he wants England."
"England." Mary thought for a moment and turned to Bash "If we won we could give Henry england and then it would go to Francis. We don't ever have to rule it!"
"But would it be enough for Henry?"
"Of course! He only cares about controlling England...I'm sure he even has dreams about it."
Bash stood up "It could work...we need France."
The general nodded "My soldiers are not large enough in number. To be able to make a dent in the English Army. We are strong but we are few.
Mary took a deep breath and Bash noticed as her expression went blank "It's settled. I will send word to King Henry." Mary walked from the room and Bash followed. He saw Mary learning against the wall with her head in her hands.
"Are you alright?"
"War. I hate the sound of it."
"It's sometimes necessary."
Mary placed her hand on Bash's chest "You won't go! You can't, I won't allow it!"
"But Mary-"
"NO! You won't risk your life. I need you...I need you with me!"
Bash smiled even though he knew he lost the argument before it really even began "I won't go."
Mary smiled and hugged him "I can't believe it has come to this."
Bash stroked her hair "I would start a thousand wars if it meant keeping you safe."
"I don't want England! I never have wanted it and from the moment it was brought up that the Tudor queen was ill all England has been is a painful thorn in my side!"
"I know." He put his hand under her chin and raised it slightly so he could look into her eyes "We will make it through this. We always do."
"I wonder if our luck is running out."
Bash could not say anything to counteract that thought because deep down inside, he wondered too.
Greer sat on the bed and a man stood in the corner watching her "You know that's very creepy."
The man said nothing.
"I know. I know. You are just doing your job and you were told not to talk to me but honestly...how am I supposed to function with you watching me like that? How am I to undress?"
She saw the man blush. "Don't flatter yourself. I don't plan on looking."
Greer turned around and her jaw dropped "So he speaks...and he is cheeky."
She walked over towards him "Name?"
He stayed silent.
"Oh come on, it's just a name."
"Abel."
Greer crinkled her nose "I'm sorry."
"It's my fathers name."
"Even worse."
"And you say I'm cheeky." The man shifted from his right foot to his left. "And your name is Greer. How can you insult my name?"
"Greer is beautiful!"
"Sure."
Greer was insulted but also enjoyed this witty banter between them. She was not sure how being kidnapped usually went, it's not like it had ever happened to her before. She thought that considering the circumstances it was going quite well. Abel was very tall with large muscles and a scar on his forehead. He had dark eyes and light brown hair. Greer found him rather interesting. He seemed dedicated but at the same time he seemed free. He was different than the other guards and seemed like an actual human being "Will you have to be in the same room with me while I bathe?"
The man nodded and looked away.
"How very wonderful for you. You must love your job."
"It has it's perks." He smiles.
Greer laughs "At least they gave me a guard with a sense of humor." The man laughed but stopped himself and composed himself once more.
"I'm not going to tell anyone that you laugh."
He nodded and smiled again.
The door opened and Elizabeth entered with a man with a doctors bag "This man will look over to you and inspect the baby. The carriage ride that brought you here was rough and I wish to ensure the babies safety."
Oh Lord did this backfire quickly "No. I am still not bleeding the child is fine."
"Indulge me." Elizabeth smiled and exited the room.
The doctor motioned for Greer to lay on the bed so she did. After several moments of being horribly uncomfortable the man smiled "The baby is doing just fine."
Greer almost passes out at those words "WHAT?"
"The baby is doing wonderful. It appears you are about a month and a half pregnant."
"There is a baby inside me?"
"Didn't you already know?"
Greer realized she was still in the middle of her lie and she nodded "Yes...of course. Wonderful. Please leave."
The doctor nodded and exited the room.
Greer was freaking out inside. She and Leith had gotten too carried away one night and now she was pregnant. Her virtue was all she had because she did not have a title and now the world would know. She thought of Leith and wondered if he noticed she had not shown up that night. She touched her tummy gently but removed her hand when she heard Abel's voice. "You did not know...did you?"
Greer shook her head "No."
"You lied to the Queen?"
Greer nodded "Yes...but it appears it is not a lie after all."
"Will he be happy?"
"If I ever see him again...yes, I think he will be very thrilled."
"I don't know much about Queen Mary but I think she will come for you. Why wouldn't she?"
Greer's breath was shaky "Because...because If she does she will die and her country needs her. I am never leaving this place. If Mary is wise she will not come."
Greer could not believe this, she was pregnant. There was life growing inside of her and it tortured her. This baby would either be delivered and given away so that she could die or this baby would die with her. So many possibilities ran through her mind. What if they killed the baby in front of her after delivery? What if it was raised by Elizabeth to believe it's mother was nothing? Greer could not breathe. It was as if the walls were closing in on her.
Mary was busy writing her letter to France. She went over the letter about a hundred times before she decided it was perfect. It sounded desperate but not too desperate and Mary supposed that was as good as it was going to get. She applied her seal to the letter and went to seek out a messenger but a messenger came to her instead. He bowed and presented her with a letter. She noticed how frantic the boy looked and she tensed up. She took the letter and noticed it had no noticed marks that could distinguish where it was from. She broke the plain wax seal and read it. She cried out in pure horror and fell to her knees. "No! NO!" She got up with fury in her eyes and ran to the throne room where Bash was attending to villagers. She burst through the doors and ordered all of them to leave "Go!" None of them moved "NOW!"
A council member approached Mary "But Sebastian is listening to their requests."
"I'm sure whatever pig was stolen can be replaced at a later date. Anyone other then Sebastian who remains in this room on the count of three will have their necks become very close and personal with an a blade. 1...2..." Everyone in the room scrambled and left before she reached three. Bash stood up from his throne
"What on earth is going on?"
Mary gave him the letter "Leith. He said Greer was supposed to meet him but never showed. It has been a full day and he has still yet to see her. He has searched her room and neither Francis or Anya have seen her!"
"There must be some logical explanation." He read over the letter carefully. "Maybe she just went on a trip."
"Without any of her belongings? Greer is a very rich girl, she travels with an entire wardrobe even if she is leaving for a day. Her room as been untouched!"
Bash looked at Mary and saw the distress in her eyes. "What do you believe happened?"
"I...I don't know. How could no one have seen her leave or be taken?"
"Taken? If she was going to visit him in the kitchen...it's possible no one was even around to see someone harm her."
Mary placed her hand over her mouth "We must go to France."
"This is a crucial time, Mary. We can't just-"
"This was not a question! She is my friend and I have already lost Aylee and Alison. I will NOT let go of Greer this easily! I am going with or without you. I will find out what happened and I will bring her home." Mary turned around and began to walk away but Bash grabbed her arm
"Prepare a carriage for two."
Mary turned to him and nodded. Bash was amazed that she did not smile. She always smiled when he agreed with her or gave into her. She found it amusing when he gave into her demands. She knew he could not resist her but this time she found nothing amusing. He knew deep down inside that her suspicious, the ones she was not letting come to the surface were accurate. Elizabeth took Greer. In the back of Mary's mind she knew this but in her heart she did not want to believe. She wanted to believe that she went on a walk or at the very worst was taken by some thug but that just was not true.
Greer looked around at all the people dancing and she could not stand any of it. Lola was gone so now she was no one and Kenna was always with the king. She decided to go and do something fun and go and find Leith. She made her way to the kitchen and she saw him kneading dough. She watched for a moment and said nothing. She just watched. She looked at his hands and the way he was so focused. Too bad this could not make him more money, he was so passionate about it. She loved that about Leith. The way that he had no real care for money and he values what he does. He feels like it's important even though many would disagree.
He looked up and saw her. He was covered with flour and she laughed and glided over to him. She wiped the flour from his chin and smiled "You are so messy."
He looked her up and down and placed his hands on her hips "You look beautiful."
She smiled "I know. Too bad the party was boring. I wish they would allow you to come."
He kissed her gently and placed his forehead on hers "I am never far away."
She broke contact and grabbed an apple and bit into it "You know the cake was very good tonight."
He turned his attention back to the dough "Of course it was. I made it."
Greer rolled her eyes "So self involved."
"I'm good and I know it."
Greer came up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist "What else are you good at?"
Leith smirked "You flirt."
"What? Me? No."
Leith turned around and had white flour smeared across his cheek. "You will fall in love with a man with a white mark on his face." She mumbled as she remembered the prophecy.
"What?"
Greer shook herself out of her trance "Nothing." She wiped the flour streak off his face and kissed him. This time it was a fierce kiss. She placed her hands on his chest and he placed one hand on her neck and the other on her waist. She pushed her hips up against his and he pulled away.
"Don't. We can't."
"Why?" She wanted this. She wanted him.
"Because we both know that you can't be with me. Not forever. You need someone with money and-"
Greer cut him off by crashing her lips against his "To hell with it! To hell with all of it! Who cares about the money and the land and the titles? I want and need you. I love you."
Leith's heart stopped in his chest "Greer...God, I love you too." He kissed her passionately and pulled the strings on the back of her dress. Greer opened her eyes only for a moment to make sure that no one was around. They were alone in the kitchen and Greer placed her hand under his shirt. She felt the muscles and the soft skin. She had felt this so many times before but this time it would be more then just touches. They lowered themselves to the kitchen floor and Greer laughed as the cold, stone floor touched her back.
"Are you sure?"
Greer looked into his eyes and had never been more sure of anything "Positive."
He kissed her and his hand traveled under her skirt. Greer gasped at the contact.
Greer sat up from her sleeping position and gasped. Abel came rushing towards her but she put her hand up to silence him "I'm fine." He slowly backed away and went back to his position. Greer touched her belly. She had relived that moment that her and Leith first made love a million times but this time it was different. It felt sad to her because she did not know if she would ever see him again. She remembered how after, when she was putting her dress back on it was covered in flour. She remembered moaning in discontent and she remembered how Leith laughed at her. Greer laughed out loud.
"Greer?" Abel said. He watched as she laughed for no reason and he could not help but smile odd girl.
Greer kind of liked Abel. He was annoying but pleasant enough. As a captive she could not exactly be picky about her company. "I lost my virginity on a kitchen floor." She began laughing again.
"Uh..."
"I come from a very high class family and instead of being on a fluffy bed with silk sheets It was on the French Court kitchen floor that was covered in flour." She laughed some more and fell back onto the bed "I loved every minute of it." She rose up again and looked at Abel "Have you ever been in love?"
He shook his head "No."
"Why?"
"What kind of question is that?"
"Well you are very handsome. I'm sure that some women has taken a liking to you at some point."
Abel shifted "No."
"Lies."
Abel remained quiet and Greer rolled her eyes "Fine. When does that other guard with the bad attitude come to relieve you?"
"Morning."
Greer had no idea what would happen in the morning. She knew that Elizabeth did not want to harm the child and that was the only reason she was even alive now. Greer also knew that Elizabeth did not want to harm the child but she would if she absolutely had to. She touched her belly gently If I have the power...I won't let anything bad happen to you.
Mary watched as her maids packed her things. Charlotte spoke with conviction "You will find her! Then you will bring her back to Scottish court along with her lover and they will live happily together." Mary could tell that she really believed those words with all her heart but Mary was no so sure. She feared the worst. What if Elizabeth took Greer? What if she was dead? What if she was being raped and tortured? All these thoughts brought Tears to Mary's eyes.
"What if I can't save her?"
Margret placed the last dress in a chest and closed it "You will find her. One way or another you will bring her home."
Mary nodded. Dead or alive...she was bringing Greer home. Mary glanced over and saw the sun rising and her heart felt as if it would explode in her chest. "Sun rise is when the beatings begin for captives. Stay strong Greer." She said a silent prayer and Charlotte confirmed that her carriage was ready to go to France. She was going to speak to Leith and get to the bottom of this. In her heart she knew it was England but she could not go and attack without France.
Greer saw the sunrise and she put her hand on her belly "Another day. I wonder what will happen today? So far this being a captive thing has not been too bad. I suppose that's because I have you inside. You are already protecting mommy and you have not even come to greet the world yet. I wonder if you are to be a boy or a girl. Since me and your father don't have title...I suppose it does not matter. I hope you are a little girl but if you are a little boy you will look just like your father. Maybe you will even have his cooking skills." Greer giggled to herself until she heard Elizabeth's voice
"How beautiful."
Greer bowed slightly to the women and Elizabeth smiled "Are you excited for the baby?"
"I suppose."
"I am sure you find it odd that I remained a virgin."
"Your virtue is your business."
Elizabeth sat near the window "Why did you chose to give up your virtue? If you don't mind me asking. I know your family is wealthy but because of poor investment you are their last hope and yet you give up something so precious to a man who has nothing. Why?"
Greer though for a moment "I love him with all my heart and I don't care about the money."
"Sacrificing everything for love...how odd"
"Surly you have loved some man."
Elizabeth looked at the window and she smiled softly, as if remembering something fondly. "No." She lied.
"That is a shame."
Elizabeth stood up "I don't want to kill you or your baby. This is nothing to do with you but if Mary will not surrender herself over to me then that is exactly what I will do. I just...I just want you to understand that."
"I never did like politics." Greer said dryly.
"And that is exactly what this is. Pure politics." She turned and exited the room and her new guard for the day came into the room. She looked at his eye patch and felt sick to her stomach. Oh God-she was sick to her stomach. She ran and grabbed an old vase and vomited into it. The guard crinkled his nose at her, which angered Greer. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just being help captive with a death threat hanging over my head and on top of that I am pregnant. Sorry to inconvenience you!"
Mary hated carriages. She sat next to Bash and he touched her leg softly "She will be alright."
"You don't know that."
Bash nodded "But I hope she will be alright. I like Greer too, she is very kind."
Mary smiled and touched the hand that rested upon her knee gently. She could tell how nervous he was. He did not want her to lose anyone else and she knew that. She knew that he wanted her pain to stop so her happiness could really begin. Mary wondered to herself if that would ever happen. She looked at Bash and inspected every inch of his face. If she had to go into England and save Greer then this could be the last chance she ever has to truly see his face.
Greer watched as the new guard watched her. He did not say a word and he was stiff and professional. Greer hated him. "When is Abel coming back?"
The man said nothing.
"Of course." Greer rolled her eyes
She went to the window sill and looked out at the trees and the grass. She wanted to shimmy out of this window and escape but she knew very little about the do's and do not's of pregnancy and she thought throwing herself out a window would be a bad idea. She turned around and looked at the man "Abel is much more suitable company."
"I don't care." His voice was raspy and a little scary.
Greer had, had enough! Her pregnancy hormones were going crazy and it was as if something snapped inside of her "Get me the Queen."
"What?"
"NOW!"
The man nodded and left the room. A few minutes later Elizabeth was in her room "What is the problem."
"Get a bed. Put it in that corner as well as a trunk for his things."
"Whose things?"
"Abel's! He is kind and I don't feel as awful being in here locked away when he is near. I have been getting sick non stop since this man entered this room." She point at the new guard. "I hate him! I understand that Abel needs sleep so set up a bed in that corner and let him sleep in here."
"With you?"
"I assure you nothing will happen. I am in love with the father of my child."
Elizabeth let out an annoyed breath and rolled her eyes. "Very well." She looked at the guard "You heard her." The guard bowed but gave Greer a dirty look and left the room.
"Thank You."
Elizabeth nodded "Abel is very kind but very firm. He also looks relatively normal. I understand that Eye patch Peter might make her uncomfortable."
Greer could not help but chuckle "eye patch Peter?"
"It's a running joke around the castle."
Greer watched as men brought in a bed and a trunk as well as Abel "What is going on?" Abel looked so confused as he rubbed his sleepy eyes.
"From now on you will be Greer's personal guard. She is now free to roam the castle walls but can't step foot outside the walls. If she does...I will kill you."
Abel nodded
"You will live in this room with her and attend to her. Greer if you try anything...your little friend will die. Understood?"
Greer nodded and watched as Elizabeth left the room. She turned to Abel "Sorry I dragged you into this."
He shook his head "It's fine. Can I sleep some more?"
"Of course. I am very tired myself."
"Please don't try anything." He begged.
"What?"
"I have a mother...no one else but I still have her. If I died she would be lost. Please don't try anything."
Greer smiled softly "I have no interest in putting your life in danger."
Abel nodded and laid down on his cot and drifted to sleep.
Mary saw the castle in the distance "Thank God. I need to stretch my legs."
Bash chuckled a little "You always have hated carriage rides."
"They are so tedious. Someday I hope someone comes up with a better way to travel."
"There's wonderful minds in this world. I'm sure someone will."
They pulled up to the castle and Henry came out to greet them "Hello!" He hugged them both and led them into the castle "Why have you come to see me?"
"Father...we need help."
"With?"
"Elizabeth. She...She tried to Kill Mary and in the process killed one of Mary's ladies. Not only has she attacked Mary but she has also killed Alison, injured Kenna, and Now...possibly kidnapped Greer."
"Greer? Your former lady?"
Mary nods
"Impossible! She resides in my castle."
"Henry...Leith is a servant who she loves very much. He wrote me saying that she never came to meet him. He has asked around and no one has seen her anywhere. He went into her room and it is untouched. All her belongings are still there. What does that sound like to you?"
Henry looked angry and ordered them to follow him into his chambers. When they entered his room Kenna was sitting on his bed. She rose up as soon as he entered the room "Mary?"
"Hello Kenna."
Henry paced back and forth "So Greer has been taken? Where? By who?"
"Our best bet is Elizabeth."
Kenna came towards the king "Greer is gone?"
Bash rolled his eyes "She is your friend and she lives down the hall from you. How could you not notice?"
"Well..I..-"
"Never mind that!" The king placed his hand on his forehead "Elizabeth has reached into this castle and THAT...THAT I can't tolerate!"
"We need to get Greer back and stop this once and for all." Bash said.
His father nodded "I will prepare my men."
Kenna touched his chest gently "What? No!"
"They took someone from this castle. They snuck into my home, Kenna!"
"You can't go. I won't let you."
Henry pushed Kenna away "One thing Diane understood that you never seem to grasp is that you have no say in matters such as these!"
He walked from the room and Kenna looked at Mary with pure hatred "He is going to war...because of you." Kenna pushed Mary out of her way and followed Henry.
"Isn't she just a big ray of sunshine."
Mary smiled at Bash "Behave yourself."
"She should care more about her friend!"
Mary nodded in agreement. "Yes, she should." Mary remembered when they seemed so unstoppable together. They were powerful when they were together. She missed those days.
Henry, Bash and Mary all stood in the throne room discussing plans of action when Catherine came bursting through the door "I think you may want to see this." She waved a paper through the air and handed it to Henry. "It says that Elizabeth won't kill Greer if we provide a trade. Mary for Greer."
Henry read the letter "We will stab that witch through the heart!"
Catherine shook her head "No. Elizabeth will kill Greer at the first sign of attack, you won't make it in time to save her. Once Elizabeth sees our men she will not hesitate to remove Greer's head." Catherine turned to Mary "You are Greer's only hope."
Everyone looked at Mary for an answer. There was no way to save Greer unless Mary sacrificed herself. Mary thought of all her memories with Greer and suddenly there was nothing to consider. "Prepare a carriage so I may leave for England tomorrow."
Bash's heart began to beat rapidly "What? NO!"
"This is not up for discussion. Tomorrow I will become prisoner to my cousin, but I know that you all will find someway to save me." She looked at Bash and took his hand "It will be alright."
Bash could not stand it any longer. He pulled away from her and stormed out of the room. He heard her calling his name but he did not stop.
Mary looked at Henry and Catherine. Catherine's face was full of worry for her "Are you sure, Mary? You might die. We might not save you in time."
"Just make sure you save Greer. I know that she is not a queen but she has so much to live for."
Catherine nodded and Henry smiled softy "We will try to save you both."
"Mary smiled softly with hurt and pain in her eyes "If I die...Bash will rule my kingdom but he will need your help."
Henry nodded "Of course."
Mary turned around and began to walk from the throne room. She wiped a single tear away from her face and kept walking to find Bash. She went to his old room and saw him sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. "Don't be upset."
He looked up at her "how can I not be upset?"
"I will make it through this."
"I'm not so sure."
Mary walked towards him "I'm sorry that it has come to this."
He turned his back to her "Why is it not up for discussion?"
"What?" She placed her hand on his shoulder but he quickly turned around
"You told me it was not up for discussion. Why?"
"Because it's my friends life as stake."
"And it's also my wife at stake."
"Why are you saying this? Greer is your friend too."
Bash ran a hand through his hair "Yes, but you are my wife. Mary, don't you see? I love you more than anyone. I like Greer but I would let her die in a heart beat if It meant keeping you alive!"
Even though his worst were a little harsh Mary knew exactly what he meant. He loved her and in his eyes she was the most important person in the world. Mary wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his chest. "Even if tonight is our last night together...We will always love each other. Even in death, I will always be with you."
She saw a tear stream down his cheek and she wiped it away "You had a dream of us having a child. That dream will come true." She kissed him and he felt her tongue asking for entrance into his mouth. He opened his mouth and allowed her inside. He tangled his fingers into her hair. If this was the last night they were ever going to spend together, he was going to make it count.
Dot's Note: HEEEEY! I am really unhappy with this chapter because it is a filler and sets up the next chapter. I wrote this really quickly and it has a lot of flaws but I promise the next chapter is going to be not only exciting but really romantic! (hopefully) I apologize again for being so late.
This story has 106 followers and 60 favorites! That is so incredible, Thank you guys sooo much! I love writing this story and sometimes it's really difficult to write but when I see you guys really enjoying the story by following it and adding it to your favorites, it makes me so happy! I have noticed I am getting a lot more reads then I am reviews so I am assuming I have some ghost readers and I would love for all you silent readers to tell me what you think. Don't be shy, I don't bite ;)
Greer and Abel and pregnancy (oh My!): Greer and Abel are obviously forming a fast friendship but I want you guys to know this does not secure her place in this story. Just because she is forming a friendship and just because she is pregnant does NOT mean she will live. It's all still hanging in the balance. I have yet to make up my mind.
Reign: OHHH MYYYY GOOOODNESSS! Poor Bash =( Those last 2 episodes just broke my heart into so many pieces. I have to admit that I don't really like Mary in the show anymore because she has just changed so much. She almost seems like a mini Catherine in the making because of the tone in her voice and her facial expression. I don't like where it's going. This new girl that Bash met in the woods is interesting and I want to see where it goes because lets face it, the Mash ship has mostly likely sank. That does not mean I am ending the story! I love Mash and will always continue to love them but I am open to possibilities when it comes to Bash and this new lady (I forgot her name). Shipping is forever 3
Question: I am considering writing an AU Mash story set in modern day times but I just don't know what you guys would think of that. Should I? Should I not? Do you guys like AU? I am so often on the fence about it because when it is done well it's fantastic and when it is done poorly it is usually REALLY bad. Let me know what you think of this idea because I really want my readers opinions.
I apologize ONE MORE TIME for being so late and for this chapter being a little on the boring side. Like I said, it's a filler. Next chapter is going to be an exciting one and I am sorry for any grammar mistakes since I wrote this so quickly.
So much love
