Sarah's POV

I'm running. I'm running far away. Away from this place I used to call my home. I don't even want to fly away, what's the point? I hate my powers. I looked back at the Bounty for one last time from the ground, my conscious friends yelling, "Sarah!" And then, I ran. I don't know where I'm going or where I'll end up, but as long as it's away from them.

Here's what happened a few hours ago…

"Sarah," Zane said.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Um, can I talk with you alone for a few minutes?" Zane asked.

"Sure," I replied.

We walked into another room, away from the chattering friends outside. "I know you don't like to remember it, but remember when I touched your healer and I flew back unconscious?" Zane asked.

"Sadly, yes, and your hands were burning, why?" I asked.

"Well, while I was out, I saw your family, and you."

"Really? How did they look like?" I asked excitedly.

"Well, first off, you looked different; you didn't have your colorful hair that you have now. You had dark brown hair."

I didn't show it, but I was kind of freaked out when he said that. The other day, while I was messing with my hair, I found one long, dark brown hair mixed in with my colorful hair. "Oh, I see, go on."

"Well, the female, I'm guessing your mom, had brown hair and blue eyes while the male, I'm guessing your father, had dark brown hair and eyes."

"So I look more like my father, wow."

"Well, you have your mother's facial features."

"Oh."

"Sarah, I've been meaning to tell you something.

"Yes?"

"I… I love you, and I don't care if you don't love me back the same way. You are so beautiful, no one can match your… Your way of doing things, it's just amazing. And I wouldn't mind if you didn't have your powers or your colorful hairstyle, as long as it was you, just the way you are. You will always be I my heart, even when you must leave Ninjago, I will always think of you. You make up my heart when you're happy, and when you're sad, I want to help you. Sarah, I love you." He went forward and kissed me on the lips.

But right when we kissed, Joe walked in, saying, "Hey guys, I just wanted to say…" When he saw that Zane and I were kissing, he was clearly shocked. I broke away from Zane. "Why you little creep!" Joe yelled to Zane, clearly outraged, "Why are you kissing my girl?"

"Because I love her," Zane replied.

"She's already mine you… You… ARGH!" Joe leaped from the ground and tackled Zane to the ground. Joe started punching Zane like no tomorrow, Zane trying to protect himself. Joe was punching so hard that he broke through Zane's fake skin.

The others soon came running in. "What's going…" Cole started. Then he saw Joe punching Zane.

"Zane!" everyone else yelled. The other ninja rushed over to break them up.

Kai put Joe up to the wall, Cole helping too. "What are you doing Joe?" Kai asked, bewildered.

"He kissed Sarah!" Joe yelled angrily. There was a nearby plant and I saw that Joe's hands were moving. Then the plant started to grow and soon it was lashing at the now delirious Zane, who was now being protected by Jay, who was yelling, "OW!" I realized it was Joe's doing.

"Well, did she mean to kiss him?" Cole asked.

Jay grabbed the plant by the stalk and said, "Hold up, who kissed who first?"

They all turned to me since Zane was in no condition to talk. The plant even stopped thrashing. "Did you kiss him?" Kai asked.

My mouth felt dry. I knew I didn't kiss him first, he did, but I couldn't say truthfully that I did try to breakaway before Joe walked in. I was so confused. "He kissed me…" I said slowly.

"I'm going to kill you Zane!" Joe yelled, breaking from Kai's and Cole's grasp and running towards Zane.

"STOP," I yelled, "STOP IT NOW!" Then I did something I still regret even now.

I felt like I had no control over myself. I lifted everyone using levitate (except for Joe and Zane) and threw them out of the open door. Joe was looking at me, confused. So were the others outside. "Sarah?" Joe asked.

Before anyone could react, I used my telepathic powers to shut the door and my body went towards Joe and Zane. I made Joe fall to the floor and he stayed there. O placed my hands on Joe's and Zane's heads and I heard myself say, "Sleep and forget me." Darkness sputtered from my hand and onto them and after a slight moment of hesitation, they both fell unconscious.

When I had control of myself again, I fell to the ground, crying. "I'm sorry Joe. I'm sorry Zane," I cried. I heard the guys outside were yelling and banging on the door, demanding to be let in.

I looked at Joe and Zane one more time. This was unforgivable, I thought. "I'm sorry," I said, "Goodbye, forever." I then went towards the window, opened it, and jumped out, hearing the door finally bust open.

Now

I let out a few more tears. I hate myself. I hate what I've become. I don't care what happens to me right now, as long as Joe and Zane are… "Ah!" I screamed as I ran into something that was invisible.

"We meet again, little girl," Pythor said. He laughed evilly and formed in front of me. "Get her," he commanded.

Before I could try to get away, six serpentine grabbed me and started taking me away. "Let me go!" I screamed. They merely just covered my mouth with duck tape and took me farther away, in the direction of the Serpentine Base.
