Sister of the Pharaoh: Hey peps! I know, been almost a month since I updated. I hope this chapter was worth the wait though!

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Tea walked through the village in her torn and tattered nightgown. She knew that Bakura would probably want to be with Ryou which is why she didn't go with them. Tea could somehow tell that the two had feelings for each other. This way they could be together and not worry about their Father's judgment. She hoped the two found happiness as she decided to try and make a life for herself on her own.

Tea was feeling lost and empty as she tried to find some place that would take her in. She tried to apply for work, but no one would accept. Even some of her friends, turned their nose to her after taking one look at her. They could easily tell that she wasn't rich any longer. Tea had never felt so alone in her life. It had been the first time since the lost of her mother that she felt that way.

After wandered around for a whole day, Tea wearily walked into an alley. It was the only place she could find for shelter. It was dark, cold and the wind picked up hard as night began to fall. Tea sat against the wall, crying with her whole body shaking. She was scared, alone and had no one on her side. It made her realize just how much she took simple things like, food, water and a soft bed for granite.

Tea continued to cry in sadness. About to fall asleep when she heard footsteps come into the ally. Tea looked up slowly to see a man who looked no older than nineteen. He had spikey black hair in a pony tail and deep emerald green eyes. They were piercing and seemed to look right into the soul. He was dressed in a red suit and pants with a black tank top and matching boots. The man bent down next to Tea and spoke softly so as not to scare her.

"Excuse me, Miss. Are you alright?"

The man's compassion surprised Tea greatly. Especially since he was the first person to show her any that day. Tea turned her gaze to the man as she answered.

"My house has burnt down last night. I was hoping to find somewhere to work here, but I haven't had any luck."

The man's eyes grew wide with shock at Tea's words. Unable to believe how she was able to survive such an ordeal. After a moment of silence, the man smiled at Tea and spoke.

"Well, want kind of work are you looking for?"

"Anything really. I don't have many skills, but I can cook and clean some." Tea answered.

"Well, it just so happens that I need help at my manor. Would you like to come with me?" The man asked.

Tea's eyes went wide from surprise by the man offer. He didn't even know her and yet he was willing to give her a chance. Without a moment's hesitation, Tea agreed. Allowing the man to help her up from the ground.

"Thank you. I promise to wok very hard sir." Tea said.

"You may call me Duke. Duke Devlin. What's your name?"

"Tea."

"Well, it's nice to meet you Tea. Now let's get you out of those clothes and a hot meal. Once that's done and you've rested a bit, will talk about your job duties."

With that, Tea and Duke left the alley to get inside from the cold night air.

Yugi was sitting in the lounge of the palace. He was talking with Bakura and Ryou about what happened he left the house. How Darts tried to set him and Tea up with the price and princess at the ball, and how he set fire to the house after losing his job and dying in he fire. After Barkura explained everything, Yugi placed a hand on Bakura's shoulder. Knowing that it must have been a difficult experience for him.

"I'm sorry, Bakura. I wish there was something I could do."

"You've done more than enough by giving us a place to stay. I can't begin to think of a way to repay you. Especially after you forgave me. I know I didn't treat you as bad as Father or Tea, but it's just as bad that I didn't do anything to help." Bakura said sadly.

"It's okay. You were always kind to me in your way Bakura. And I appreciate that a lot. We'll get through this together. I promise."

Bakura's eyes went wide from Yugi's words. He couldn't believe how kind Yugi was. Even after what he had been through. With a small smile, Bakura placed a hand on Yugi's head. Ruffling his hair slightly before getting up from his chair. Before he left, Bakura turned to Yugi and said words that the young never expected to hear from him.

"Thanks. I suppose your not so bad, for a little brother."

Bakura then left the room with Ryou following behind. Leaving Yugi with a big smile on his face. He was glad that Bakura had excepted him as family. A moment later, Yami walked into the room and sat down next to Yugi. A sigh of frustration was exhaled from his mouth. Yugi turned to see his prince with a rather irritated look on his face. Without a word, Yugi got up and stood behind Yami to start messaging his shoulders.

"Ahhh, that's nice. Thank you, love." Yami said with a relaxed smile on his face.

"Your welcome. Is something bothering you?"

"Nothing out of the normal. It's just stressful with all the extra work and meetings that Seto has thrown on me. Not to mention that we still have a wedding plan."

"We won't have to worry about that for another month. I wish I could do more to help though."

Yami smiled at Yugi's words.

Knowing that he wanted to do more. Yami figured that he must have been board with all the studying he was doing to become a royal. Yami decided that both of them should take a break. As Yugi sat back down next to Yami, the prince grew a sly smirk on his face. He slowly snaked an arm around Yugi's shoulder and came within inches of his face. Making Yugi blush as he smelled the scent of cinnamon on Yami's breath .

"Yami?" Yugi asked shyly.

"Yugi...what do you say we enjoy this moment together while we have it?" Yami whispered.

Yami then quickly pushed Yugi down on the couch. Using his gasp as a chance to slide his tongue inside as he gave Yugi a passionate kiss. While using his tongue to explore the caverns of his mouth, Yami used his hands to caress Yugi's body as he moaned softly. Yami smiled as he felt Yugi wrap his arms around his neck. Giving into the kiss as tears of happiness fell from his face.

Yami broke the kiss a moment later and pulled Yugi close to him. Stroking the little one's hair as he kissed his tears away.

"Yugi? Why are you crying?" Yami asked.

Yugi didn't answer as he clung to Yami's chest for dear life. Yami rubbed his back slowly as he continued to speak soothing words to him.

"If your scared, we don't have to continue. I'm willing to wait until your ready to go further."

"I'm not crying because of that Yami. I just realized that I'm so happy. I haven't felt this happy in such a long time. Not since my mother was alive. I never want this to end...this is like a dream. Yet, part of me is scared. I'm afraid that this might actually be a dream and that when I wake up, I'll be alone again. I'll be without you again, and I couldn't bare it if that happened!"

Yami gasped at seeing the fear in Yugi's eyes. It was clear that the fear of being alone and abandoned still frightened him greatly. Yami's softened and tightened the grip he had on his little one. Nuzzling his face in Ygi's hairs he spoke.

"Oh Yugi...Sweet Yugi...you need not worry about that any longer. This moment that were sharing right now, is not a dream. It is real and always be together like this from here on. I swear it. If anyone dares to steal you from me or hurt you or make you cry, they will deal with me. So you can rest safely. For I shall protect you. Now and always."

Yami then surprised Yugi with another passionate kiss. Sealing the vow he had just made to the man he loved. Yugi returned both the kiss and Yami's embrace as he closed his eyes in contentment. Feeling peace and happiness for the first time in his life. After they broke away, Yugi smiled up at Yami and cupped his cheek as whispered softly with a smile.

"Thank you, Yami."
