A/N

I'm back! This time it is without a bone snapped in half but with a brain nearly melted! :D

Now I know that no amount of 'sorry' can fix this, but I'll try anyway. I apologize for my leave of absence without giving a prior warning to it in the previous chapter. My excuse this time around is not something I will post publicly, it is a bit personal. But know that work is winding down and I'll do my best to get back on track.

I suppose those that I have wronged the most would be the Warfang Elite. I was invited into their amazing group then I go and do something like this; sorry guys.

I'll keep this A/N short, so let's get on with the disclaimer.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own the Legend of Spyro, any companies that have anything to do with it or any locations therein. Hell, I don't even own the laptop I am currently typing this with. It's my dad's and he will no doubt open a law suit the moment he reads this because I took it without his permission. You know what? Screw you world! I'm taking this laptop and nothing can stop me! Why? 'Cause Phoenix Wright will be my defense attorney! WOO!

"I'm telling you! Glacia is lying to us!"
'Damn it, they know...'
::Shall we dispose of them mistress?::
Try and figure out what this all means!

xXx

After two hours of finding and calming down the terrified dragonfly, Spyro was finally able to get some rest to prepare for the long day of flying ahead of him.

Spyro had his usual wake up call, consisting of Cynder looming over a screaming Sparx followed shortly by a shrieking golden blur fleeing the room.

Breakfast was just as uneventful when the two heroes arrived at the cafeteria. Sion was holding his sides in laughter while Michael was standing in front of a madly blushing Ember and confused looking Flame. It took Cynder all of two seconds to figure out what happened.

Combat classes were a bit more interesting than usual. Flame and Pyro got into a very heated debate on who could replicate what Inferno did the previous day, resulting in Flame gagging on smoke while Pyro kept prematurely igniting the flammable gasses within himself with a closed maw. Needless to say the twin jets of fire from the arrogant fire dragon's nostrils fed Cynder's laughter for the day even more.

After the comically combustive combat class Spyro and Cynder were confronted with the last dragon they expected to see.

"Spyro."

At the mention of the purple dragon's name, both Spyro and Cynder turned around to face the source of the voice.

"Hi." Quake greeted them.

"Hi..." Spyro replied awkwardly.

"I heard you were going on an overnight expedition." Quake stated more than asked.

"Yes, we are." Cynder answered. "Why do you ask?"

"Can I come with you?" The stoic earth dragon asked.

"Uhm...if you want to, I guess." Spyro replied before Cynder could turn him down. He was unaware what the true purpose of the trip was.

"Is there any reason you want to go with us?" Cynder inquired.

A rare occurrence took place that day. The stoic dragon, Quake, smiled and spoke more than ten words. "I wish to experience the natural beauty one could only find in the uninhabited expanses away from civilization and our busy everyday lives. To break from the repetitive norm we live in and have gotten accustomed to."

To what Quake said, neither Spyro nor Cynder could come up with a suitable reply.

After several moments of awkward silence, Quake spoke. "At what time do we leave?"

"One hour...we meet in front of the Academy." Spyro replied automatically.

"Thank you." Quake said with a nod, leaving the two baffled dragons alone.

xXx

With not much else to do after class, Flame decided to go through the marketplace alongside Amber.

Neither were specifically looking to buy anything but they had some gems in case they found anything of interest. Although that didn't mean the natural female instinct of shopping would not surface from Amber.

"Oh! What about that thing over there?" Amber exclaimed while pointing towards what looked to be gauntlets with sharp looking tips.

Flame merely sighed while replying. "Amber, you are able to charge your claws with electricity. So you can not only slice your enemies but also electrocute them. Why in the name of the Ancestors would you need those things?"

"They look nice. I want them." Amber said defiantly.

"Fine...let's see how much they cost." Flame gave up while quoting the words of a very wise male. 'Never get between a woman and her shopping.'

The two dragons walked over to the stall, only to find it unoccupied. "Well, nobody is here, let's go Amber."

At that moment Flame heard a familiar voice. "Oh no need to leave! I am right over here!"

Coming out from the store behind the stall was none other than the oversized bear that sold Flame and Sion Celsius' map. "So terribly sorry for the wait, I was packing away my newest shipment." After looking over the dragons, Moneybags recognized the red one. "I say, aren't you that dragon I sold the map of Celsius to?"

"I am, good to see you again Mr. Moneybags." Flame greeted the supersized bear.

"You know each other?" Amber questioned after their greeting.

"More along the lines of business associates." Moneybags corrected. "And who might you be my lovely young lady?"

Flame rolled his eyes while Amber seemed to brighten up at the compliment. "My name is Amber! Nice to meet you!"

"Oh the pleasure is all mine. Are you on break from your modeling career?"

At this point Flame got a twitch in his eye while Amber was enjoying every second of it. 'Oh, this guy is good...'

"Aww, how nice of you to say that!" Amber gushed.

"We should get going Amber, I need to be at the Academy soon." Flame said in a vain attempt to save his-soon-to-be hurting funds.

"Nonsense, Flame! We have plenty of time." Amber stood her ground. "Do you have any interesting items for sale Mr. Moneybags?"

Inwardly, Kuma smirked. 'Gotcha!' "Why yes, I do! In fact, a very interesting item came in with this shipment. One moment please!"

As Moneybags went into the store, Flame addressed his female friend. "Please don't tell me you are listening to the garbage he is talking?"

A vein appeared on Amber's head. "I'm sorry, but did you just say everything he said was a lie?"

"Of course it was!" Flame pressed on, not noticing the sparks appearing on Amber's scales. "He just said whatever he had to so you would buy from him! I wouldn't be surprised if-"

CRACK

A single, well aimed bolt of electricity arced between the two young dragons. The bolt caused Flame to fall to the ground with slight burn marks while twitching constantly.

"I found it!" Moneybags proclaimed as he stepped out of his store. "What happened to him?"

"I haven't the slightest idea." Amber calmly fibbed before taking notice of the strange helmet like item Moneybags was holding. "What's that?"

At the first sign of interest, Moneybags completely forgot about the potentially dying dragon and turned to face Amber. "This is a true wonder of both magical enchantment and smithery! This helmet has the capability of magnifying the power of electrical attacks!"

A skeptical yet hopeful look overtook Amber's features. "How does it work?"

"I cannot say I completely understand the engineering behind this object, but basically it absorbs the static energies from the air around the user and compacts it into a high voltage charge within the crystal here." Moneybags explained while tapping a bright orange crystal on the forehead of the helmet.

"What's the catch?"

"Attractive and perceptive!" A groan could be heard from Flame's unmoving body. "The same crystal that makes this possible possesses limited power and needs to replaced every now and then."

"How much?"

"Normally such an item would cost 700 gems." Amber's face dropped a bit. "However I am sure I can take the price down to 400 gems this one time."

Amber mentally weighed the need for the item with the cost and upkeep for the item. Merely buying it would take up a considerable sum of her savings. She briefly considered walking away when a mental image of Darman was added to the scales, completely shattering the mental weighing instrument. "I'll take it!"

Amber dug around in her bag for a little before pulling out twelve purple gems. 'Hmm...I don't have enough on me right now...'

Amber looked around in search of a bank. As luck would have it she saw a small red bank nearby. Amber quickly walked over to the red bank, dipping her claws into Flame's satchel before taking it out with a pawful of yellow gems.

Amber quickly counted out ten gems before handing them to Moneybags. "An excellent purchase my dear! I hope to see you again soon!"

"Thank you Mr. Moneybags!" Amber said while dragging Flame towards the infirmary.

KNOCK-KNOCK

Darman was brought from his blissful sleep by a series of loud knocks on the door "Come in." He groggily called out in between yawns.

A second later the door opened to reveal Ember followed by a limping Glacia.

Darman immediately brightened up when he saw two of his friends visiting him. "Hi Ember! Hi Glacia! How's it going?"

"Hello Darman," Ember greeted the void dragon as she stepped into the room. "Nothing new, how's your recovery going?"

"Pretty good actually, doc says I could be out of here in two or three days!" Darman was ecstatic about leaving the hospital. Sure, his friends visited him, but with only the tiles on the roof to count, it got boring, fast. "What about you Glacia? When did they say you would be out?"

"I-I...uhmm...also about three days." Glacia spoke softly from her half hidden position behind Ember. "I won't be able to use my element, but I will be able to walk around normally."

"Oh, stop being so shy!" Ember scolded her. "We're friends, we won't bite...much." Ember finished the last part with a snap of her jaws in Glacia's direction electing a small 'eep' from the ice dragoness.

"Not that I don't appreciate the company, but what are you doing here, Ember? Aren't you supposed to be on that trip with Spyro?"

Ember stopped antagonizing the other dragoness to answer him. "I came here to say goodbye actually, we are leaving pretty soon." Ember grinned a grin that would rival that of Michael's. "I also didn't want you to be lonely, so I brought Glacia over to spend some quality time with you. Don't worry; I'll make sure nobody comes in..." Ember finished with a blink.

Darman, having spent enough time around Michael, immediately knew what the pink dragoness was implying. A blush overcame his dark blue scales in an instant.

Glacia may have taken the guise of an innocent, weak dragoness. But that does not mean she couldn't have fun every now and then. "Oh, how thoughtful of you Ember." Glacia said only slightly louder than she usually spoke. "It would be wonderful spending some alone time with Darman here."

"W-W-W-Wait! We are supposed to be recovering!" Darman said in protest as Glacia slowly limped towards him.

Ember seemed shocked at this, she only wanted to tease the two, she wasn't serious! 'Amber is going to KILL me!'

Ember opened her maw to stop the ice dragoness, but as she was about to speak, Glacia winked at her. Ember knew that this was an opportunity not to be wasted. "Come now Darman, loosen up a bit. You are both healthy enough. Just go with it."

When Glacia was only a few feet from his bed, Darman looked like he was part fire dragon. The void dragon had been completely paralyzed from shock by the dragonesses' actions.

Glacia crossed the small gap between them and slowly sat down next to a still motionless Darman.

Glacia leaned in towards him and softly whispered. "Gotcha." Before she started giggling, which escalated into full blown laughter once Ember started laughing as well.

Darman asked the only question his embarrassment- clouded mind would allow. "W-Wha?"

Nearly a minute passed before the laughter of the two dragonesses calmed down enough to allow them to speak. "I never thought you would be one to tease him that much, Glacia!"

"Hmhmhm...The look on his face was just priceless!" Glacia replied.

With his clouded mind finally clearing, Darman spoke again. "What are you two talking about?"

"I'm sure you can figure it out, Darman." Ember answered him. "After all, this isn't the first time someone did this to you."

The gears within the void dragon's head slowly began turning again. Once they were fully operational, Darman realized what just happened. His blush returned two-fold in embarrassment, causing Ember to laugh some more.

During Ember's laughing fit there was a knock on the door. "That must be Flame!" Ember exclaimed and threw the door open.

Pure, unrestrained fear gripped her heart once she saw who it was. Amber stood in the doorway with a strange helmet on while Flame was lying limply behind her.

Without wasting a second Ember moved to block Amber's view of the rest of the room. "Hi Amber! What are you doing here?"

Darman's eyes widened with the same amount of fear that Ember had. "Quick! Glacia! You need to get off!" He said in a loud whisper.

"Hi Ember. Flame got himself electrocuted. The receptionist told me to bring him here and she'll get some Red Spirit Gems." Amber replied while trying to step in. However Ember stood firm.

"Why?" Glacia asked in the same loud whisper as Darman.

"Umm...Ember, could you please move?" Amber asked while bringing Flame in closer to her. "I need to get Flame onto something a bit more comfortable than the floor."

"Because she," Darman said while pointing a claw at the doorway. "is going to shock me to death if she sees us like this!"

"Why would you bring him in here?" Ember nervously asked the electric dragoness. "It's already so cramped in here, I'm sure there is another room open!"

"Why? Is she your mate?" Glacia innocently asked. However that innocent question got Darman to blush just as intensely as before.

Amber now had her eyes narrowed at the nervous looking Ember. "I'm coming in. Now."

"No! She is not my mate!" Darman said in a loud whisper while attempting to push Glacia off of the bed.

"Like I said it's very cramped here! Just give Flame to me and I'll-eep!" Ember's protest was cut off when Amber threw Flame at her, causing the fire dragoness to stumble back, revealing the scene inside for Amber to clearly see.

Amber was not impressed by what she saw. Amber saw Darman with all four of his paws on the ice dragoness' body while adorning a scarlet red blush on his face. All the while Glacia was protesting against what Darman was doing.

After drinking in the scene of Darman touching the protesting dragoness with all four of his paws, Amber's scales and helmet started sparking furiously with electricity. "YOU PERVERT!"

xXx

After the last class of the day, Sion and Michael stayed behind in the Academy to receive an additional thirty minute class with Cyril and Terrador. Sion was being taught about the Elementals by Terrador while Michael was receiving a lecture (though it sounded more like a berating) about his ability.

"That is all for today." Terrador said after his previous statement regarding the weaknesses of the Ice Elementals. "I will not be here tomorrow, so you will have the day off from these classes."

"Awwww..." Sion moaned. "But what am I supposed to do then? Most of my friends are going away as well."

"Do what a dragon your age is supposed to do." Terrador answered with a satisfied smile. "Have fun."

"I expect you to use that slap in the face to the ice element to a minimum." Cyril said to an uninterested looking Michael.

"Yeah, Yeah." Michael replied offhandedly. "You told me that at least once every minute."

"Do I make myself clear?" Cyril continued unfazed.

"Perfectly." Michael lied with a bored yawn.

"Then you may leave. Begone!" Cyril dismissed with a flare of his wings.

Once outside the two friends contemplated their next move. Sion was adamant about getting a second lunch whilst Michael argued that he needed to be at the infirmary to practice his healing.

"Michael. You are my friend, so I'll share a secret with you." Sion told the hybrid. "Eating food is required for your metabolism to do its job. Therefore eating would technically count as healing! I vote we get some fish, yum!"

Michael simply rolled his eyes before replying. "So you'll go to the cafeteria instead of the infirmary if you were to get, say, a non lethal yet somewhat painful cut on your shoulder?"

"Of course!" Sion instantly answered while drooling at the maw. "There is nothing a big, juicy salmon can't fix-OW!"

Michael retracted his claw as he spoke. "Oh look, a non lethal yet somewhat painful cut on your shoulder! What're the odds? Shall we go get some fish and venison?"

"Fine! You win...let's go to the infirmary..." Sion conceded, causing Michael to grin widely.

The two dragons made their way towards the infirmary, Sion complaining the whole way about sadistic dragons along with mentions of Michael, Amber and Cynder.

Upon arrival they were met with the receptionist mole.

"Hello." Michael greeted, getting the mole's attention. "I am here to practice my healing on my injured friend."

The mole briefly looked up from the pile of papers in front of her as she spoke. "Room 21 should be available. Go there and record your observations."

"Thank you." Michael said before heading to the room.

"Isn't Darman in room 25?" Sion asked as they strode down the hall.

Michael contemplated the question before answering. "You're right! We should go see him when we got that nasty looking cut sorted out. Mind telling me where you got it?"

"Go to Convexity."

"You first."

Shortly after their little exchange of words ended, they arrived at the designated room. Inside was a single high standing bed, obviously for the patient, while next to the bed were several small steps, most likely for the moles to use.

In the far corner was a table lined with scalpels, needles, anesthetics and some Red Spirit Gems.

"Did the mole give us an operating room?" Sion asked the hybrid while observing the room further.

"Seems like it." Michael answered. "Get on the bed, this shouldn't take long."

"Sure thing, doc." Sion replied sarcastically.

Michael rolled his eyes before turning to face his friend. Since Michael had healed Sion in the past, Sion knew what to do. As such, he was already on his side with the injury facing upwards.

Michael was now standing above Sion, his paws outstretched with a single, tiny drop of water formed between them. "Sion, just bear with this, I'm going to try a new healing method."

"Why? Didn't the old one work fine?"

"It did." Michael nodded. "For small injuries such as this one. But I'm trying to make it better so I can heal larger wounds such as broken bones or deep gashes."

"Then why are you trying this new method on something as small as this?" Sion asked, not having moved an inch from his position.

"I need to get the concept down first on small wounds first." Michael answered, the water in his paws was rippling and jutting out in random directions. "Think of it as learning to walk before learning to fly."

"So what's different with this o-oooouch!" Sion began to ask but was forced to end his question as his shoulder felt like hundreds of icy, microscopic needles were busy poking into his scales with an even colder thread following them.

In all, it only lasted about four seconds, but the lingering pain remained. "What was that?!"

"The new method." Michael answered as if he didn't just cause his friend even more pain.

"I know that! But why did it hurt so much? Usually it feels like your healing takes away the pain!" Sion nearly shouted as he rubbed his sore shoulder.

"Simple. The old method numbs the wound while speeding up the recovery, much like small Red Spirit Gems." Michael explained. "But the new method forces the wounded area to generate cells and replace the dead or missing cells with the new cells. Doing that causes the pain you felt."

"Are you going to be healing us all like this from now on?"

"More than likely, yes."

"I'll try not to get injured then."

"You do that." Michael smirked at himself. In truth, this was the first time his newest healing method was able to fully heal a wound and leave no scars behind.

Before any further conversation could take place between the two friends, a very loud crack of electricity sounded out, though it could have been mistaken for an explosion given the volume.

"That sounded like it came from inside the infirmary!" Sion shouted frantically.

"Think those Elementals are attacking?" Michael loudly asked, already on high alert. "Did they find a new species for them or something?"

"If they are, then we best move now! Darman, Glacia and other patients are still in this building!" Sion ran to the door, unceremoniously slamming it open as he sprinted through it.

Michael shortly followed suit. They both went directly for Darman's room, room 25, fearing their friend to be an easy target for the onslaught of incoming Elementals.

The closed door offered no resistance when Sion rammed it open. "Darman! Are...you...ok?" Sion trailed off, a blush of embarrassment slowly forming.

"Oh...err...hi, Sion." Ember greeted her earth dragon friend. She had received the worst of the shout when he came charging in. "With a limited definition of 'ok', yes."

Darman, still on the bed of cushions, now looked more like a shifting mass of shadows instead of his normal deep blue colorings. Just to the side of the bed lay Glacia, looking at the void dragon with eyes as large as Pyro's ego.

"Darman! We need to run! The-" Michael was swiftly saved from the same embarrassment Sion suffered by Ember who clamped his muzzle shut with one of her paws and pointed towards Amber.

Both of the newest additions to the room followed the pointed claw. There they saw Amber, literally sparking with electrical power and an expression of unbidden wrath etched upon her face.

Words could nearly not express how thick the awkward atmosphere in that room was at that moment. "Ember looks nice with shiny scales..." Flame muttered at an inconvenient time in his unconsciousness. The awkward level was now well over 9000.

It was Michael who finally decided to break the ice. "I'll-uh...go heal Flame real quick." Michael said as he went to pick up his unconscious friend.

When the two male dragons left the room, Sion spoke. "Could someone please explain what is going on here?! Where did the explosion come from and why does Darman look like he's ready to develop the shadow element?!"

Amber answered before any of the other dragons could give the real reason for the strange occurrences. "Darman forced Glacia into the bed with him!" A distinctive 'WOOHOO!' followed by clapping could be heard from the hallway. "I just shocked him more than I ever shocked him before!"

"That was you?" Sion asked, only now noting her new accessory. "Where'd you get that weird helmet?"

"Like it?" Amber asked, adjusting the helmet to sit more comfortably. "I got it from this vendor named Kuma Moneybags." Amber said as she thought back to the long string of compliments the kind bear sent her way, completely forgetting her desire to murder the void dragon.

"Moneybags sold that to you?" Sion asked with a raised eyescale. "Did you make sure he didn't overcharge you? He asked Flame and I like 100 gems for one map."

"That sweet bear would never overcharge me!" Amber defended the vendor.

"I think he-"

"We are getting off topic here." Ember interrupted their argument. "Can I tell you two what really happened?"

"It's plain as day what happened!" Amber shouted while glaring at Darman.

"Give her a chance Amber, this might just be a misunderstanding." Sion intervened.

After considering it for a few moments, Amber relented. "Fine..."

"I came here to visit Darman directly after classes and since I haven't seen Glacia in a while, I decided to bring her here." Ember began explaining. "When we arrived here, I may have coaxed Glacia into teasing Darman a bit. That led to her lying next to him, but nothing happened!"

Amber scowled as she spoke again, much calmer this time. "What about the way I saw Darman touching her?"

"They grow up so fast..." Michael said from the door, wiping a non-existent tear from his face and sniffling loudly.

"GET OUT AND HEAL FLAME!" Amber shouted, unleashing a second explosion like attack, obliterating the poor, defenseless door Michael was hiding behind. "Continue."

Ember gulped before speaking once more. "He was trying to push her off before you would see them like that." At her words, Amber glared at the undercover Corrupted Guardian.

'Great work Flake!' She berated herself. 'Because you wanted to have a little fun, you now have a potential enemy! I may have to eliminate her...no, that would cause too many questions to surface and will bring unwanted attention to me. Perhaps I could get an Elemental to kill her if she leaves Warfang.'

While Flake contemplated her options, Ember managed to calm down the enraged Electricity dragoness. "So it was just one huge misunderstanding, let's please just get ready to leave; I'm sure Spyro and Cynder are already waiting for us."

Amber huffed. "Fine. I'll let it go for now. But if I see him doing anything perverted like that again, I'll test this new helmet to its limits!" She promptly turned around and left the room. "Michael! Flame! Hurry up before I personally restart both of your hearts!"

xXx

Half an hour later all the dragons that were going on the trip were gathered in front of the Academy. Sion, who decided he was not going, stayed with Darman to keep him company while Amber stayed with them to ensure Darman didn't try anything with Glacia while her back was turned.

"What's he doing here?" Flame questioned while pointing a paw at Quake.

"Coming with." Quake answered.

"Why?" Flame returned.

"For fun." Quake returned to Flame's return.

"Long story short, Quake enjoys the outdoors more than he lets on." Cynder added to end a potentially long series of three worded answers, getting shocked looks from most of the dragons present.

"Shall we go?" Quake asked, either ignoring or not caring for their reactions.

"S-Sure." Ember said while attempting to regain her composure. "Does everyone have what they need?" 5 nods were given. "Good, then I see no reason to remain here."

Wasting no further time, Ember leapt into the air, followed closely by Flame, Quake, Spyro, Michael and finally Cynder.

Once they gained enough altitude, Cynder went to the back of the group to provide a good tailwind, decreasing their overall time to reach the Cheetah Village, completely oblivious to the events transpiring there.

On the same hill overlooking the waterfall leading to the Hermit's cove, the same group of Elementals sat, patiently observing and awaiting for their superiors to arrive.

::Report.:: A large, four legged Earth Elemental commanded.

::Sir, the amount of dragons, cheetahs and moles entering and exiting the cave has not decreased but has in fact only grown since the previous day.:: The scythe armed Ice Elemental informed the larger Earth Elemental. ::In fact, in my observations I have noted that more dragons and cheetahs have entered the cave than left it. I believe they are guarding something.::

::If what you say is true, then we must waste no further time with our assault, lest they build enough defenses to keep us out.:: The large Elemental turned to the three icicled Ice Elemental accompanying him. ::Contact every Elemental within a day's distance of this position and give me a rough estimate of the forces you can detect.::

The Ice Elemental went silent for a minute, all three icicles glowing brightly on its head. ::Within one day's worth of hasted march of this position of the Ice Elemental variety are approximately 91 Grunts, 30 Scythe users, 14 Healers, 4 Commanders and a single General.::

The large Earth Elemental was pleased to know one of their strongest warriors was within the area. ::What of the Earth Elementals?::

::Within one day's worth of hasted march of this position of the Earth Elemental variety are approximately 30 Grunts, 9 Adapters, a single Manipulator and 2 Juggernauts with present company included. The Earth Elementals are still recovering, therefore their forces will still be limited.::

::I would have preferred to have and Earth General partake in the fight, but we shall make due.:: The large Earth Elemental looked towards the waterfall from their hidden position. ::We shall strike tomorrow on the Ice General's orders. Tomorrow, we retake the Elden Elementals!::

A/N

And there's the long awaited Chapter 14! Once again, sorry for the 2 or 3 weeks turning into 2 or 3 months. Unfortunately I can make no promises as to when the next chapter will be released. However, I have a vacation coming up that will last just over 2 weeks. In that time, I will do my best to finish chapter 15. Keep in mind that I will be gone for at least a week out of those 2 weeks to visit family over Christmas.

Now, I don't want to leave too much confusion as to the ranks of the Elementals. I am sure most of you already have a general idea of the strength of the Ice Elementals and some of the Earth Elementals, so I'll compare their power to each other (keep in mind that this does NOT cover specific strengths and weaknesses, it is only meant to give a general idea). If you don't feel like reading this, then skip it until you see the second 'xXx'.

xXx

Ice Elemental Grunts will be at the same strength of the Earth Elemental Grunts (duh). The main difference is that the Earth Grunts can take a considerable more amount of damage than the Ice Grunts while the Ice Grunts are still capable of using weak ice abilities.

The Ice Elemental Scythe users will be about as strong as the Earth Elemental Adapters (those mounds of earth that look like the obelisk). Again, the main difference is the pain threshold. While the Scythe users rely on causing unfelt wounds (numbing them while slicing them) the Adapters will deal their damage using blunt force. The Adapters are obviously not nearly as agile as their Ice Elemental counterparts.

Next up are the Ice Elemental Healers. They will be the same as the Earth Elemental Manipulators (yes, a new type of Earth Elemental I have not yet introduced). Now I really want to avoid spoilers, so I'll just give a basic rundown. The Healers as the name implies, can heal injuries during combat. Manipulators are pretty much the opposite (let's see if anyone can guess what they do).

Ice Elemental Commanders are those 3 icicled Elementals while the Earth Elemental Juggernauts are obviously the four-legged-four-armed Elemental that appeared last chapter. Since neither have been seen in combat yet, so I'll avoid any potential spoilers.

Finally there are the Ice Elemental Generals and the Earth Elemental Generals. Both have been seen briefly, yet neither have fought as of yet (that will probably change in the next 2 chapters). So again, no spoilers will be given; but feel free to post what you think their abilities are.

Anyone who guesses close to the abilities of the 2 Generals, the Manipulators, the Juggernauts and the Healers shall be posted next chapter.

xXx

As always, thank you Unit Omicron for being such an awesome beta for my story! Valiantly fighting the war against comma-less sentences! Couldn't have asked for anyone better!

Now I won't make this any longer than needed, so I'll just add in one last thing.
Mr Teggsy has started a new fic called Broken Ends. It's a really well written fanfic, go check it out if you don't believe me! :D

This A/N is already ridiculously long, so I'll end it here by saying that any and all reviews are welcome, especially those containing constructive criticism since they help me improve by showing me what I am doing wrong! But please, no flames. We all know that flames are nice to have around a camp fire and on any One Direction songs, but this is an electronic fanfiction people! Adding flames to the mix will just burn up the electronic paper used to write this. How will people read your flame if the entire electronic paper has been burned away?!
