Sorry guys this was a slow chapter for ideas hence the shortness and also the late update.

Chapter 13: Is it over already?

Darkness.

I woke up. My head pounding against my skull as my eyes opened slowly. I groaned and sat up, looking around me. I was in the back of a street. The floor was wet from rain, cigarette buds covered the dirt.

Rubbing my temples I heard a female voice behind me.

"Sleeping beauty awakens,"

I frowned and turned my head seeing the small woman I recognised from before I passed out or whatever.

"You didn't pass out, I knocked you out,"

I stared at the woman in leopard print as she bent down to me. "Who are you?" I asked.

She smiled or really smirked, like I should know exactly who she was. I cocked a brow to the top of my forehead.

"I'm Trish, Ally Dawson's best friend. You wouldn't know that because you didn't take an interest in her,"

I scoffed and stood up as she pushed on her knees to her feet.

"I'll have you know I know a lot about Ally,"

She stared at me.

"That's where you're wrong,"

I rolled my eyes "So you knock me out and drag me into an ally just to tell me I don't know anything about the girl that's currently living in my house, sounds like a fun hobby," I replied sarcastically, turning around to walk away.

My arm was grabbed violently as she pulled me back to face her.

"I'm not finished yet, Moon."

I winced a little as her death stare burned its way into my eye sockets.

"Basically," she let go of my arm "I know you like Ally,"

I blushed and stepped onto each foot awkwardly.

"It's not hard to figure out, Moon. Now, there's one thing you have to know,"

I waited in anticipation as she looked around for any listening in ears.

"Ally, well, let's just say she's got something she has a deal with at the moment,"

"What?"

She sighed "I can't tell you, she just…she's in trouble and it's your fault. I had to fix it,"

I glared ever so slightly.

"And what are you going to do?" I hissed.

She tilted her head to the side and grinned.

"It's already done," She replied, handing me a small mirror.

I frowned in confusion and she gestured to me to look in the mirror. I raised it up to my face and prepared to look at my hideous form.

I didn't.

I was my normal self again, no marks or scars, my bright blonde locks were back, I was 'beautiful' again.

And...it didn't please me. It made my heart clench with disappointment. Disappointment that now, I had appositely no chance to make it with Ally now I was back to being my old self.

I tightened my jaw and passed the mirror back to her. "What have you done?" I mumbled weakly.

She put the mirror away, smiled and placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.

"Don't hate me just yet,"

I scoffed quietly.

"Just listen to me," she removed her hand "I asked Karlie to remove your curse, it took convincing and I had to make a deal that I regret and-"

"What deal?" I asked, cutting her off.

She pierced her lips together.

"I can't tell you,"

I rolled my eyes.

"Is there anything about this you can tell me?" I asked, meaning to sound sarcastic but it came out more as desperate

"The curse is still there, that's all I can tell you, and that you still need to find someone to love you for you, not your looks,"

I nodded.

"I understand,"

I shut the door behind me as I walked into my comfortably warm house. My body slummed over, shivering from the cold air outside. Sighing, I kicked my shoes off.

"Good day?"

Pulling off my jacket I turned to Dez "Not really," I grumbled.

He tilted his head to the side, his short red hair flopping a little.

"How come?" he asked, his innocent kid-like voice annoying me.

I sighed, trying to release my anger in that one single breath.

"It was just a bad day," I replied.

Don't get me wrong Dez was my best friend and I wouldn't change that for anything in the world, he always stuck by me even if I acted like a dick, which I'm trying not to do anymore, but Dez was slow. Very slow. It took him 3 years to learn his two times table. Regardless he was a great man, he wouldn't even hurt a fly, and he'd actually probably want to keep it as a pet, and I have to admit, I do love him he's like a brother to me. He's probably the only person in the world that can truly stand being around me.

"Have you been brainwashed or something?" Dez's voice said, pulling me out of my brief, soppy thoughts.

I shook my head, a small smile on my face. "No Dez, I haven't been brainwashed,"

He grinned as happiness spread across his face from relief or something like that. I sighed as my small smile grew into a large cheesy grin from his innocence. "I'm going to go…read in my room,"

He gave me a funny look and spoke up, "Is that code word for having a wan-"

"No," I cut him off before he could finish.

He nodded and walked into the kitchen.

I ran my fingers through my hair as I walked upstairs, waiting to see that blue door to her room. I walked up to the door, standing a foot away from it.

I smiled as I heard her humming from inside the room. So cute.

I raised my hand and light tapped my knuckled on the door. The humming stopped and I could hear footsteps from the other side of the door.

"Who is it?" I heard her ask.

I rubbed the back of my neck in a nervous habit.

"It's um…Ross,"

There was a pause as the butterflies increased in my stomach and my skin began to build up a single layer of sweat.

"It's open,"

Okay that was appalling I know but my brain hates me and wont let me write at all lately. I will make it up to you all by adding an Auslly moment in the next chapter. Peace.
