SOO, I feel like every time I start a chapter I start with a capital filled letters with SOO. Gee, give me a break. So I decided to rather you guys have to wait I decided to write all the chapters when I'm in a good mood. So I have written two chapters in two days. I am proud. Nah, jk. So here we goooo.
Jane woke up and tried to turn off her alarm clock. She muffled when she didn't find it. She felt something squeeze her tight, a warm embrace. Something was on the other side of her bed. Wait, was this her bed? She turned her head as much as her spinal cord would allow and saw a tired all-cried-out Dr. Maura Isles. ''Good morning Detective'' The doctor said without opening her eyes. Jane smiled as she turned over herself to give her a good morning kiss. Maura leaned back and made a face. She opened her night stand and handed Jane a mint. She took one herself and returned the kiss Jane was supposed to give her in the first place. Jane laughed and hugged her. Jane tried to deepen the kiss but Maura pressed her away. ''We have to go to work, Janie'' Jane blinked and tried to give her the puppy eyes. ''Jane'' She stretched out her name, which she liked. ''Oh Snap!'' Jane joked.
They both got out of the bed and chased each-other down the stairs. They laughed, and when they got to the end of the stairs they kissed. They kissed their way to the kitchen. ''Hello Girls would you like some egg's. I have it o- Oh my god.'' They both stiffened and turned around to see Angela. She dropped the frying pan and gripped for the counter to lean on and took a deep breath. ''Ma..?'' Angela didn't even look up. ''This explains the sleepovers! Girls I'm so happy for you!'' Jane stared at Maura openmouthed. There was a light color of begonia spreading quicker than fire onto Maura's face. Angela ran to them and gripped their arms. ''Ohmygod! Everyone is gonna be so happy for you guys! There have been going around rumors about you to and I never believed in them!'' Maura was in shock. Angela knew about Maura's 'condition' but she had never seen her ''marks''. Also for Jane both of them standing in their shirts bra-less and Jane in a girl-boxers and Maura in a thong. ''My oh my is people going to be happy! You know students which have been visiting the BPD has been shipping you guys!'' Now Jane turned red. ''Ma knows about shipping?!'' She whispered. ''A-Angela c-could you p-please let go off m-my arm'' Maura stammered. Angela looked down at Maura's arm seeing her scars and flinched. Maura quickly rubbed her arm carefully. ''I-I'm sorry..'' Angela hugged Maura. ''I-I excuse me.'' She faked a smile. ''Maura!'' Jane tried. The blonde kept walking. ''Is this my fault?'' Angela pressed. ''No, Ma. Just give her some time.''
AT THE BPD
Jane was at her office stuck with at-least 4 meters with paperwork, and Maura was sitting alone at the One Division Cafe. Angela came by with her bunny pancake's. ''Maura I'm sorry about this morning.'' She tried patting Maura's shoulder as she layed down the plate with the pancake on. ''It's OK Angela. I just had a brief moment of panic. I'm fine'' Angela sat down besides her. ''Look, I'm gonna get my own place, I'' Maura interrupted. ''Angela, I like having you around. Your like the mother I never had'' She said as she put a bite of the pancake in her mouth. ''Thank you Maura. I've always wanted a doctor in the family.
Maura went down to the morgue. She picked up the last case file and looked a final time. ''Woman 31, pregnant week 12.''. A not-noticed tear slipped out of her and she closed the file. She went out of her car and started driving home. She stopped by a cafe to pick up some coffee and she took her waiting time to call Jane. After the second ring a familiar raspy voice she adored so much started speaking. ''Hey Maur'' The blonde smiled to herself as she got her coffee. ''Hey, I just wanna say that I'm on my way home'' She could hear the person on the other end groan. ''I miss you..'' Maura got into her car and placed the coffee. ''I miss you too, sweetheart.'' She noticed a baby-store on the other side of the cafe she just had been to. ''Look Jane, come to my house, we can have a sleepover.'' She got out of the car. ''I'd love to Maura. But I gotta go now. Sorry, see you later tortoise'' Maura laughed. ''Bye, Love you''
She put the phone in her pocket and went over to the baby store. The whole place was filled with joy and families. Mostly mother's with their boyfriend, pregnant. The place smelled like cookies she thought as she went over to a tiny baby jumper and smiled to herself. The clothing piece were so small. Weird that something would fit into it. She held on to it as she looked to the next piece of clothing, and repeated. ''That will be 198,51 $ Miss'' She payed and got back in her car and placed the bag happily in the passenger seat.
