Bright lights, that's the first thing Glenn took notice of as he felt himself waking up. Groaning as he tried to turn away from the light that was directly on his face, Glenn heard someone gasp as he tried to see if anyone was there.
Pain wrecked his body as his eyes finally opened, blinking to adjust to the light that was directly over his head. "Where?" Glenn questioned painfully, looking down at his bandaged body, wires attached to his left arm, hocked up to his gauntlet as a machine beside him beeped ever few seconds.
"What?" he mumbled trying to figure out what had happened. And then it hit him like a ton of bricks. His eyes widened as he looked down at his chest, the bandaged holding some dried blood from the wound Ichika had caused.
"No, it wasn't his fault" Glen mumbled shaking his head lightly as he banished the thought about his friend. As he tried to sit up, the feeling of his fingers on his gauntlet felt off. Blinking in confusion, Glenn looked to see dried blood pooling around the edge of the device, his clawed fingers curling slowly as if trying to get used to moving with him.
"What's going on?" he whispered to himself his other hand grabbing his head as he tried to figure out what had happened. All he got was a blank spot after he body hit the water. Before he could think on it further, the door was swung open, three familiar girl bursting inside to see him.
"Glenn!" Rin yelled, tackling the boy into the bed, a hiss of pain escaping him as the girl held him tightly. "Rin stop, you're hurting him!" Cecelia yelled as she pulled Rin back, Glenn giving his fellow blonde a grateful look.
"What...happened?" Glenn asked, the expression of all three of the girls telling him it wasn't good. "Glenn..." Houki started, only to be silenced as the door opened again. "I'll inform Glenn about everything" Chifuyu's voice spoke as the girls and Glenn turned to see the older women staring at them with a stern expression.
"But..." Cecelia tried to speak up, only for Chifuyu to raise her hand. "I know, but right now he needs to know everything about what's happened and what will come of it" Chifuyu said as the girls lowered their heads slightly.
"What's going on, someone tell me?" Glenn asked as he started to worry about what had happened when he blacked out. "Leave" Chifuyu spoke, the girls staring at her in surprise. Rin was about to refuse when Houki pulled her and Cecelia out of the room, Chifuyu locking it behind them before turning back to the blonde wolf.
"This isn't going to be easy Glenn, but..." as she started to inform the boy about his actions, the strange IS shift he underwent to the loss of his hand and how he almost killed everyone else. When Chifuyu had finished speaking, she stared in worry as the boy face betrayed no emotion what so ever.
Just a blank stare that was directed towards the wall of the resorts infirmary. "Glenn" Chifuyu spoke softly, trying to see if he was alright. "What happens now?" Glenn asked quietly, the lack of emotion making Chifuyu inwardly cringe.
"We'll be returning to the academy in a few hours, we'll have to start training your muscles to interact with her new arm and then some medical checkups" Chifuyu explained as the boy nodded. "Does anyone know how I turned into that...thing?" Glenn asked.
"I already have Tabane looking into your IS's coding, from what she found out is that your IS has a primitive set of codes that have been classed as instinct, when your life was threatened that code along with the IS's natural ability to evolve created a second shift that would keep you safe, but the Hunting mode had evolved as well, making your IS act out against anyone it saw as prey" she explained as Glenn nodded.
"Will I be removed from the academy?" Glenn questioned as Chifuyu stared at him in surprise. "No, you're not at fault Glenn, the Japanese and American government know this, nothing going to happen to you" Chifuyu explained quickly.
"But what if..." he was cut off from speaking as Chifuyu placed a hand on his cheek, forcing him to turn to her. "No, I know what your going to say, so no, you're not a danger to the academy or the students, you're IS just evolved in a way no one predicted, there is nothing to worry about, so get those thoughts out of that thick skull of yours" she said sternly as Glenn could only nod slightly.
"Get some rest Glenn, this has be tiring on everyone, and you need it the most" she added. Before Glenn could react, she kissed his cheek and left the room, leaving the wolf blinking in confusion as he tried to figure out what had just happened.
"I think sleeping would be a good idea" Glenn mumbled as he let himself hit the bed, a groan of pain escaping him as he felt his stomach hurt again. A few hours later, Glenn was being helped towards one of the coaches that would take the students back to the academy. Houki and Cecelia were helping him walk, or limp in this case as the others were already in their seats.
"You sure you should be helping me?" Glenn asked, looking to Cecelia's bandaged arm. "Oh your too sweet Glenn, but I'm happy to help" she replied giving the blonde a smile as Glenn turned away a faint blush dusting his cheeks.
It wasn't his fault Cecelia was attractive and had a beautiful smile.
"We should get to the bus, you'll be able to rest more" Houki spoke up as she helped the blonde into the coach, Cecelia following as they went to get their seats. "Glenn, I saved you a seat!" Rin's voice yelled as the wolf turned to see the pony tailed girl waving at him from a few row into the back of the coach.
"Thanks" Glenn offered as he sat down beside her, Cecelia and Houki taking the seats in front of them. On the opposite side of them, Ichika was sitting beside Charlotte while Laura was behind them. "How are you feeling Glenn?" Charlotte asked as the boy let his head rest on the back of his seat.
"Sore, what about you?" he asked in return. "I've been better, my IS took a pounding against you, the right shoulder and gauntlet will need repaired" Charlotte said as Glenn winced at a reminder of what he had done.
"It wasn't your fault Glenn, we were told by Orimura sensei about what happened" Ichika said as Glenn nodded to the boy. "Thanks man, do you think we'll be given some time off after all this?" he asked as the girls gave him a confused look.
"Maybe, what do you have in mind?" Ichika asked as Glenn threw him a wide grin. "Set up a few PC's invite a load of friends and play some games and music over the weekend" Glenn said as Ichika grinned at the idea. The girths only watched in confusion as the tow boy bumped fists in agreement for the game night.
"What are you talking about?" Laura asked. "Guy stuff" they answered in unison as the silverette grew even more confused. "Hay, who's that!" Honne yelled form the front of the bus. Turning the group noticed someone had made their way on to the bus.
Everyone could tell she was older at least twenty years old with long wavy blonde hair and steely silver eyes. She seemed to be searching the bus until her gaze landed on Glenn, the blonde blinking in confusion as she walked up to him.
"I take it your Glenn Ventura?" the women asked as Glenn stared at her in confusion. "Yes?" Glenn replied uncertain as to what was going on. "That's good, I'm Natasha Fairs the pilot of the silver Gospel" Natasha introduce with a smile.
"Ugh..." Glenn didn't know what to say as the older women giggled at his seemingly tongue tided moment. "I just wanted to say thank you to the young man that saved my life and this..." she said, leaning over the teen as she kissed his cheek, the girls going wide eyed as a blush grew across the blonde wolfs face.
"I hope you recover soon Cutie" she said, leaving the bus as Glenn sat in his eat, utterly confused as to what just happened. "Did that just happen?" Glenn asked as he looked towards Ichika for help, only to see the boy looking behind him in terror.
"Glenn" a voice growled behind him. Turning the boy looked to see Rin staring at him with a scowl, one that was shared by Houki and Cecelia. "Why the hell did you let that women kiss you in front of your girlfriend!" she yelled wanting to smack the blonde across the face.
Only to pause as the bus became deafly silent. Everyone was looking at her, the only one that wasn't shocked was Cecelia while everyone else stared at the tow of them with mouth gaped open at the news.
"Glenn-kun, has a girlfriend?" one of their classmates whispered as Rin finally realised what she had said. The blush encasing her face as she hid herself behind her seat, leaving Glenn to be stared at as the wolf blinked in confusion.
"Fuck"
"No swearing Glenn" Chifuyu's voice cut through the bus before anyone could question the new information about the blonde wolf. "Hmm, Glenn" someone spoke up from the seats across from the blonde.
Opening an eye, Glenn saw that it was Honne who was speaking to him, her two friends listening in as he turned his head towards her. "Are you okay?" she asked, her innocent eyes staring his bandaged arm in worry.
"I've been better" Glenn replied as Honne titled her head, the cat like ears on her hood twitching much to Glenn's amusement as confusion. "I'll be fine Honne, no need to worry" he added, hoping to stave off the worry the girls had for him.
"Okay, but if you need anything I'll be here to help" she said cheerily as Glenn smiled, Honne always seemed to have a positive outlook on life. At that thought, Glenn glanced down towards his claw, the thought that if this never happened to him, he wouldn't have lost his hand.
Sighing to himself, Glenn glanced towards a still blushing Rin, the girl being subjected to Houki's glare as the bus started to move. "I hope this isn't a long trip" Glenn mumbled, closing his eyes as he felt like sleeping this journey away.
"...enn...Glenn...Glenn...GLENN!" a voice yelled as the blonde jolted awake, looking around in confusion. "Finally" the same voice spoke as Glenn looked up to see Rin staring down at him. "I didn't think you would wake up, come on everyone already got off" she said.
Glenn nodded as he pushed himself out of the seat, hunching over slightly as pain shot through his chest. "You okay?" she asked, supporting him as they moved to get off the bus. "I just want to go to sleep" Glenn mumbled as the two exited the bus, Glenn noticing that all the bags had already been taken back to their rooms, leaving only Rin and him to head back inside.
"Where are the others?" he asked as Rin nervously looked away. "I...ugh...asked them to let me speak to you in private for a bit" she said as Glenn rose an eyebrow in confusion. "Remember what we talked about on the beach?" she questioned.
Glenn thought over her words, before his eyes widened as he remember what their deal was. "It's just, I know you need to sort out your feelings for Tatenashi, but, I guess I just don't want this to end" Rin whispered before gaping lightly as Glenn pulled her into a hug.
"I know I don't have any idea what I'm doing, and I don't know what's going to happen when I talk with Tatenashi but...do you, I don't know, want to go out this weekend" Glenn mumbled looking away as Rin stared up at him in surprise.
A giggle caught the blondes attention as he looked down to see Rin giggling into his chest. "I don't think this is funny" he mumbled as Rin openly laughed as she looked up at him. "I'm sorry, it's just I didn't expect you to ask me out like that" Rin said calming down as before looking back at him.
"But I would love to" she whispered kissing his cheek before she left, blushing badly as Glenn stood there in confusion. He was about to walk forward, only for pain to wreck his chest as he tried moving.
"Shit" he cursed, hunching over as he felt a rush of pain going up his spine, making him dizzy as he tried to stay on his feet. Before he could fall over, some caught him, a familiar giggle echoing into his ears as he glanced up to see the familiar aqua blue hair.
"Come on I'll help you to my room" Tatenashi said, draping one of Glenn's arms over her shoulders as she supported him. "Thanks" Glenn replied as they started walking, Glenn wincing ever so often. "I got the reports of what happened, I can say I'm impressed and angry at what you did" Tatenashi said as they walked through the dorm doors.
"I did what I could" Glenn replied as Tatenashi sighed. "That's the problem Glenn, you almost died saving some random person" Tatenashi scolded as they moved towards the stairs. Before she could go on, someone had stepped in front of them.
"Oh look, the presidents boy toy got hurt" a familiar voice spoke as Glenn looked up. He noticed the short dirty blonde haired girl that he had threatened to shot that one time. Ah, good times. "What happened, train him to hard?" the blonde asked as Tatenashi growled at her.
"Actually, Glenn was hurt taking an energy claw to the chest in order to save the American representatives life" Tatenashi said as the blonde gaped in shock. "Wait, you, you saved Natasha Fairs!" the blonde yelled as Glenn raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, so?" he asked as the blonde stared at him. "She, she's my sister, I'm Nicole Fairs" she said stuttering over her words as Glenn just stared at her. "Can we please move on, I need sleep" Glenn mumbled as Tatenashi giggled at Nicole's shocked face.
"Sorry girl, my boy toy is tired, see ya" Tatenashi said, walking past them as she helped Glenn limp towards the room. "Hay, wait!" Nicole tried to get his attention, only for the door to slam shut. Growling Nicole grabbed her phone, marching towards her room as she went to call her sister and get every bit of information out of her.
Inside their room, Glenn was laying on the bed, Tatenashi standing beside the mini kitchen as she placed some ingredient for lunch inside a pot. "You okay?" Tatenashi spoke, making Glenn raise his head slightly.
The bluenette's usual aloft expression was gone, replaced by a concerned one as she sat down beside him. "I've lost my hand, what do you think" Glenn mumbled as he cast a glance towards the metal limb.
"I...I know, and I'm sorry, for everything" Tatenashi whispered as Glenn looked up at her in confusion. "If I didn't drag you to that IS, if I just let you leave nothing would have happened to you" she said, lowering her head as she refused to look at the blonde beside her.
Only for Glenn's normal hand to gently make her face him, his tainted blue eyes staring into her ruby red ones. "Don't" he spoke as Tatenashi looked at him in confusion. "Don't say that you caused this, you never would have thought I would lose a limb or almost die" Glenn whispered as he pulled her further into the bed, Tatenashi staring down at him as the blonde looked up to her.
"But..." she was cut off as she felt the boys lips press against hers, her eyes widening in shock before slowly closing to kiss him back. "If it wasn't for you, I would never of been able to do that" Glenn whispered softly as Tatenashi found herself snuggling into his chest, a few tears leaking from her eyes as she heard the boys words.
"Thank you" she whispered, cuddling closer as the two of them they stayed on the bed in each other's arms. Staring up towards the ceiling, Glenn was conflicted on what to do, he had just kissed Tatenashi, someone he had no idea how he felt about and at the same time was taking Rin out on a date.
And then there was Houki and Cecelia, wait, what?
Sighing to himself, Glenn glanced down to see Tatenashi looking up at him, a glint in her eyes as he glanced down slightly to see that her school skirt as rolled up slightly, his clawed hand brushing against her, ahem, inner place as a light blush dusted her cheeks.
"I didn't think something cold could feel so...good" she whispered teasingly as Glenn blushed while trying to move away, only for one of the spikes on his knuckles to brush against Tatenashi, erecting a low moan form the blue haired girl.
"Kinky, but I have food to make, maybe later wolfy" Tatenashi said, slipping out of the bed with a wink as she went to finish lunch. Leaving Glenn blushing up a storm as he stayed in the bed unable to move. Why did he have to move in with Tatenashi again?
"So what are you going to do about all of us?" Tatenashi suddenly spoke up as she placed the pot on the cooker. "What?" Glenn asked as she looked up to see the bluenette shaking her head in amusement.
"Oh you know, dating the girl, I think her name is Rin, and then there the little British girl and the sister to Tabane to worry about, how will you ever keep us all happy?" she teased giving the bed ridden blonde an sly smile.
"Umm..." Glen didn't know what to say as Tatenashi started to giggle uncontrollably. "That face is so cute!" she squealed as Glenn let his head hit the pillow again, a frustrated sigh escaping him. "But, I'm being serious, what will you do, you have four very attractive, possessive young women after you wolf boy" Tatenashi said as she moved away from the kitchen to stand over Glenn, pointing the wooden spoon she was using at his nose.
"I...don't know, tell me, how do you go from being someone who has no experience with girls in this kind of situation to making them all happy?" Glenn questioned as he let his un-clawed hand drape over his eyes.
"That's what I thought you would say" Tatenashi whispered as she sat down beside him, her hand idly stroking through his golden blonde locks. "Since I am one of those girls" Tatenashi started as Glenn lifted his hand to give her a strange stare.
"Oh don't look at me like that, I did kiss you first remember" she said as she lightly hit him on the head with her spoon. "But as I was saying, I would want to keep you all to myself, and never let you go...but I'm just happy that you will have time with me" she said smiling softly as Glenn blinked in surprise at her words.
"But that doesn't mean the others will accept it easily, maybe Rin but she a feisty type" she added as she leant down, giving the blonde a chaste kiss before standing back up. "But for now, I get you all to myself" she said with a smirk as she returned to finish cooking.
Glenn could only lay in the bed, staring at the bluenette's back, wondering how this ever happened to him. "I wonder how Ichika's doing, does he have to go through this as well?" he asked.
In The floor below the second year dorm room, Ichika sneezed as Laura and Charlotte looked at him in confusion. "You okay?" Charlotte asked as she placed one of the dishes she was making for the boy on a plate.
"I don't know, someone must have been finally realised my pain" Ichika replied, whispering the last part as both girls gaze him odd stares.
