If you do not want spoilers for later chapters I suggest you ignore this chapter entirely.
Some people have complained that Ianto and Jack's relationship isn't portrayed well, that Jack just seems like someone Ianto screws sometimes. You have to understand this whole story is mostly done in Alex's point of view so short of having Alex tag along on their dates there's not much I can do on that front. I will try in the future to have Alex walk in on some mushy scenes between the two or something or have him have a heart to heart with one or both of them or something. You also have to consider the fact that Jack isn't very emotionally mature when it comes to real relationships on the show, he mostly seems to show his affection through flirting and sex and more recently by trying to date normally and vocalise his feelings (and Ianto seems ok with that, seems patient and willing to wait).

This story will end as a Jack/Ianto/Alex pairing, so if you do not like that idea and don't want to give it a chance feel free to stop reading I will not be offended. The pairing does not happen suddenly and doesn't begin like you might expect, I will try to make it as interesting as I can and try to develope the Jack/Ianto relationship a great deal before we reach the final pairing.
