Best Friend Twist: Chapter Fourteen

Helga and Arnold were walking home together after they had dropped Phoebe and Gerald off at their houses. Helga and Arnold were kicking stones in silence.
"So umm…Helga…why were you so upset when I kissed Phoebe?" Arnold asked, trying to break the silence and get an answer out of her.
Helga stopped in her tracks. Arnold looked behind to see her standing there without movement and wide eyed. He raised his eyebrow at her. Helga gulped.
"Well…umm…I wanted…I thought maybe…oh I can't take it anymore!" Helga exclaimed as she stepped forward and kissed Arnold.
Arnold was startled but reciprocated, much to his and Helga's surprise. The two children did this for quite a while. Arnold pulled apart and blushed immensely, as did Helga.
"That was…nice," Arnold said as he looked down and avoided Helga's eyes.
"Arnold…I really wanted to tell you that I don't hate you or despise you or even hate the shape of your head. I actually really like you and when I told you that I…that I lo-loved you on the FTI building…I wasn't lying but telling the honest truth," Helga said shyly.
Arnold thought for a moment. Helga had always been there. Though she had been mean to him countless times, she was sometimes nice and he could never understand why. Now he understood those mysterious times when he would see her nearby or she would be nice and completely out of her character. He also realized that he liked her too…a lot. He had known for a long time now actually. That was why he got so jealous of Gerald and why they had this big mess in the first place. He hugged her and she sighed.
"I love you too Helga," Arnold said. Helga looked at him and fainted. Arnold caught her of course and sighed.
"What am I getting myself into?" Arnold asked himself as he took a deep breath and looked at the sleeping Helga in his arms with a smile.
AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER! Hope you enjoyed and the ending was good. I know it wasn't perfect but I hope you all enjoyed.
Arnold and Helga started dating and all that jazz. They eventually got married and had kids and lived happily together. The End! Lol. (They may have had some drama though! Lol. )
