Chapter 14
Amy's Pov
A month has gone by and Shadow and I were waiting at the Bakery with Silver and some of the guards. I checked my communicator to see it was 12:00 o'clock. I second later it started beeping. It's time I said loudly as I pulled out the ring. I placed it on the ground and it expanded. Shadow and Silver both stepped forward and nodded to each other before jumping in. It's been an our and I was slowly pacing back in forth. Every now and then I would rub my round belly as I continued to pace. I stopped for a second as I heard distant gun shots. I got closer and next thing I know 5 figures jumped out. I stepped out the way as the guards held the five up. My favorite one was the blue one. "Sonic!" I screamed walking over to the blue hedgehog. Before I could take one step I was lifted off my feet and spun around. "Amy I missed you so much." A muffled voice said. I was soon set back on the ground and to see forest green eyes staring back at me. My eyes began to water as I looked at my Mate and the I growled at him. I slightly pushed and pulled out my piko piko hammer. "You asshole what took you so long I could have had our baby and died!" I screamed at the blue hedgehog. "Please Mrs. Amy if it wasn't for Sonic we wouldn't be here now." A voice said behind me. I turned around and my face instantly reddened. It was Austin who was carrying a tiny hedgehog. A blush instantly formed on my cheeks as my hammer disappeared from my hands. "How embarrassing I can't believe Austin has to see me in this disgusting outfit." I said in my thoughts. "Oh um sorry about that and Sonic don't ever scare me like that." I said. A loud growl was heard and everybody's ears twitched to the left. I took a step forward as the noise got louder till I was tackled by a tiny black hedgehog. His aurora was black and his sharp white teeth were bared. "Amy!" Sonic said taking a step toward me but I stopped him. "Wait Sonic his scent is familiar." I said quietly. The black hedgehog soon started sniffing me. He stopped and his ears lowered and he started whining. He jumped off and stood on his two feet as his aurora and revealed a bloody and bruised Caiden. "Caiden?!" I said grabbing the tiny hedgehog and pulling him into a hug. "It's good to see you Amy." Caiden mumbled into my hair. "Wheres your sister Caiden?" Silver said. A frown appeared on Caiden,Sonic and Austin's face. "We're not sure but she saved our lives." Sonic said looking at the ground. I gasp was heard and I looked at were it was coming from. It was Silver and he was staring blankly. "What's the matter Silver I said. He didn't say anything but started running. "Amy you stay here until Trent gets here." Shadow said about to leave. "I'm coming too." I said standing up. "Sonics here Amy I can handle this on my own." Shadow said crossing his arms. "I don't care what you can do until I get ready for this baby I'm going to find my best friend no matter the consequences." I said. Shadow just sighed and I flash appeared besides me. "Is everybody alright."Trent said pulling me up and taking Caiden out my arms. I nodded and looked at the direction Silver and his Guards went. "Trent take Sonic,Austin, and Caiden; were going after Silver" I said as Austin walked near Trent I noticed some fur in his arms. I looked a little closer and noticed a little hedgehog in his arms it was light blue and its quills were dipped in orange. I couldn't tell if it was a girl or a boy. "Who's that?" I asked Austin getting a closer look. "I don't know Sonic and I found this little fella in a bear trap. I gasped and got closer to the child. I noticed some bloody leafs around his leg. I was reaching for the little hedgehog but he turned and jumped out Austin's arms. He looked at us all and tears began to swell in his eyes. "What's the matter Sport?" Sonic said getting down on one knee. The hedgehog looked at Sonic before running into his arms. "He killed my family." I heard him murmur into Sonics chest. I gasped and held my belly. "Who did?" Shadow asked. "The King! He slaughtered my family my dad held him off long enough so me and my mother could escape. My mother was injured and couldn't run until she just collapsed. She told me to run so I did." The little boy said. I looked at him as my eyes began to water. I squatted down to his level and and tapped his shoulder slightly he peaked from Sonic and tears were visible. "Listen sweetie my friend Shadow and I are going to get this King cause he has my Best friend and we'll make sure he gets what he deserves." I said with a smile. He slowly turned toward me and smiled. "Thank you" I nodded at him before nodding at Shadow who returned the gesture. I was about to walk off but someone grabbed my hand. It was Austin and a blush instantly formed. "You be safe dear Amy Rose we don't need another beautiful lady in peril." He said kissing my hand. "Oh I know to be extra careful." I said as my blush reddened. A sweat dropped appeared as I could feel green eyes on me. Somebody grabbed my other hand I was pulled in a deep kiss. Once I realized who it was my blush reddened to no return. I could feel small kisses be placed on neck and face. "Sonic please people are watching." I whispered as continued kissing me. "Just making sure you know who's your real man." She whispered in my ear. Chills went down my spine as I kissed him one last time and squeezed his butt cheek. "Let's go Shadow." as we took off in Silvers direction.
Shadow's POV
After we caught up to him;he took the warp ring from Amy's bag and opening it to his castle. We all jumped in and once we landed my eyes widened with horror. Amy screamed to the top of her lungs as she collapsed to her knees with tears falling from her face. I guess there was a battle because there were bodies spread across grounds. I looked at Silver who was froze in place. He was pale and his eyes were paling. "They weren't suppose until tomorrow." He whispered. "What are you talking about." I said trying to calm Amy. "They weren't suppose to come until tomorrow I don't understand how could I be so wrong." He responded as he told his guard to find life. I heard Amy gasp and she took off toward the Castle. "We need to find Blaze and the Kids." Amy said. Silver and I eyes widened as we took off after her.
Amy's Pov
One we arrived at the castle there were even more bodies and the castle doors were destroyed. "Blaze,Silver,Darla? Anyone!?" Amy said yelling in the giant castle. We went searching around rooms until I heard someone whisper my name. I followed the voice which was behind the throne. I noticed a white bird with an orange beak protecting something in her arms. "Darla thank goodness your safe. Where's Blaze and the children. Hey you guys I found them." I said helping her up. "Amy?" A small voice said behind Darla. It was sliver and was dirty and had a couple of scars on him. His cape was ripped and filthy and his crown was missing. "Silver all you alright where's your mother?" I asked taking the hedgehog in my arms. "We're not sure she told us to hide and she ran outside to battle." Darla said. Next thing I know Silver walked over to us and grabbed his two children and snuggled the close. "I'm glad you all are alright I'll have the guards move you to the emergency castle." Silver said as the guards came right on cue. "But Silver won't they attack there next?" I asked. "Don't worry Amy this castle is under ground." He said with a week smile. I nodded and walked over to Blaze's throne. There were a couple of blood spots. It led down the side of the chair and a trail formed. "Ughh Silver you better come see this." I said as I slowly began to follow it down a hall." The smell of smoke and blood and an unknown smell was lingering deeper into the hall. I was getting oddly harder to breathe until we that was a large opening in the master bedroom. My eyes widen as the one whole side of the room was blown off. I walked towards the bed to see a pool of blood beside it. There was a wet spot and a few spots of white. I gasp as I nearly collapsed. My eyes began to water as I slowly began to stumble back but somebody wrapped their arms around me. "Amy are you alright?" Silver said. I didn't say anything as i started at Silver regretfully. "What's wrong A-?" He said before starting at the spot on the bed. He walked past me and began pulling the sheets off the bed and staring at them angrily. "Silver?" I said taking a step toward him but he stopped me. "Don't Amy, I'm fine lets just hurry and find out family." Silver said. I looked at him worriedly as I could hear his voice get a little shaky. I was surprised he didn't shed any tears even though he's a king and all shedding tears isn't weak." I thought as I followed Silver out. I looked at Shadow who was talking to one of the injured knights. "Shadow were leaving!" I yelled over to him. He nodded at the knight before walking over to us. "Let's get we do no need more territory taken over. Silver said before taking off in the trail on his land.
