Bonnie was hammering away on the stairs of their in-progress home. She tried the power tools, and even though she felt powerful using them, the feeling of her drilling unless holes in the floor scared her. She didn't want to be the reason why something collapses once weight is applied. Stefan watched her from afar. He was on the other side of the house measuring out room for the dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and microwave. Or so he was supposed to be. Maybe it was looking at a woman at work, maybe it was the shorts that she was wearing exposing her legs and apple bottom ass. Maybe it was the sweat rolling off her that made him stop all his measuring to focus on his fiancé. Maybe it was all the above.
He walked up to her and placed his hands on the sides of her hips. Bonnie looked over her shoulder to see him smiling down at her.
"Is there something that you need?" Bonnie asks.
"Actually there is," Bonnie raised a brow. "I need to know why you aren't on your toes kissing me right now."
Bonnie rose to her feet and Stefan licked his lips ready to kiss his beloved. Bonnie aligned their lips by standing on her toes and leaned in,
"We need to get back to work."
Stefan rolls his eyes but his hold on her hips tighten.
"Not without some motivation." Stefan says before connecting their lips.
Stefan moved her until her back hits a wooden log that will soon help create the wall. He brings her legs up on his waist and carefully carries her down the stairs to their pickup truck. Stefan breaks away from the kiss for a second to open the door and lay her flatly on the seats. He hovers over her and starts attacking her neck as Bonnie runs her hands through his hair and pushes him off to have him sit down so she could get on his lap. Stefan raises his waist up to her and she lets out a moan. Stefan's hands slid up her shirt slowly sparking every nerve.
A car door slamming shut is what breaks them away and Bonnie quickly moves off his lap sliding to the driver's seat. Looking in the mirror she sees Josh and Amber making their way over. Bonnie opens the door hopping out trying to act as if they just got there themselves. She tried her best to hide her smile when she looks to the side to see Stefan trying to calm himself down so that what was about to happen between them wouldn't be so obvious.
"Hey sis, I didn't know you guys were coming today."
"Well we weren't at first," Amber started after hugging her sister, "but we figured that you guys needed some help."
"Come on. I'll show you our progress." Bonnie led Amber up the stairs.

After another long day of work, they finished what they started earlier in the shower and were now cuddled up on the couch.
"Stefan about our unborn kids, I think we should wait until the house is ready. I don't want to have to worry about it getting done in time while I'm pregnant."
"I know. I would also like to marry you first, Bonnie. You shouldn't have a big belly walking down the aisle; I know that's not what you want."
Bonnie looked up at him and smiled. He kissed her forehead and pulled her closer to him.
It seemed like her to-do lost stretched across the Atlantic. They didn't exactly set a date but they knew that they wanted to get married in August which gave them a few months to get everything ready in time. It seemed like a long time, but Bonnie knew how fast time would fly.
Once the wedding planner was decided on, all she and Stefan had to do was tell her what they wanted. They decided that their colors would be purple, white, and black. Instead of a church they opted for an outside wedding. All they had to do was pick out the venue and flowers and then they'll be done with wedding aspect of it.
After the meeting, they went cake testing. They knew that it was going to be the highlight of their day.
"Hello I'm Chrissy, how may I help you?"
"I'm Stefan this is my fiancé Bonnie, we called earlier about cake testing."
"Right, follow me to the back."
Stefan grabbed Bonnie's hand and followed behind Chrissy. They were in a private room with five sample cakes set up on the table.
"Do you have an idea of what you want?" Chrissy asked taking out her notepad.
"Uh, not really."
"That's fine." She smiled. "In front of you we have five cakes, starting on the right we have your basic vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, next to that we have chocolate cake the top layer as you can see is vanilla frosting and the bottom is chocolate. Moving on we have my favorite, red velvet cake with cream icing. Beside that we have marble cake and lastly we have another of my favorites, confetti cake with vanilla creme icing."
After showing then the cakes, Chrissy had to attend to another couple but she told them that she'll check back up on them in a few minutes. They took turns feeding each other sometimes they would use a fork and other times they would exchange the cake with a kiss.
"Mmm," Bonnie sounded after kissing Stefan.
"You like that?"
Bonnie nodded her head and took the fork to take another bite.
"Do you like it?"
"I think I need another taste."
Bonnie took her fork to feed to Stefan but he put it down and tasted her lips instead. They pulled away when they heard a knock.
"Did you guys find your cake?"
"Yeah, we'll take this one."

The following day, their wedding planner Ashley called them up saying that she found the perfect venue. It was the next state over, but if they liked it then that's where the wedding will be.
"What's up?" Bonnie answered the phone as she was packing the cooler for their trip.
"Hey sis I know its last minute, but could you and Stefan take care Joël for the rest of the day? Josh has a doctor's appointment and I have a lot of errands to run."
"Uh, hold on a sec."
Bonnie walked back to their room to find Stefan packing a bag. "Hey Stef, Amber needs us to take care of Joël, she sounds really stressed and busy. Do you think we can take her?"
"Yeah I think we can make the room." Stefan smiled.
"Hey sis," Bonnie said once she picked up the phone, "we can take her."
"Thank you so much, Bon, you and Stefan are life savers."
"No problem."
Amber dropped Joël off at their place so she could start on her errands a little before Josh's appointment. Bonnie decided to not tell Amber about their trip because she knew that she would feel bad and not let them have Joël.
After preparing extra bottles and warming them up, they set out for their trip to West Virginia. The trip was about five hours so they hoped that the trip wouldn't be that bad. After feeding Joël, Bonnie placed her back in the car seat and watched her until she fell asleep. Bonnie climbed up to the passenger's seat and kissed Stefan.
"She sleep?"
"Yep. By the time she wakes up we should be there or at least almost."
"You hungry? I can stop at a drive thru."
"Maybe later." Bonnie leaned back and turned up the radio slightly and hummed along to the tune.
Bonnie's eyes flickered open then blocked out the sun with her forearm. She turned to the side and didn't see Stefan but when she fully turned around she saw him holding Joël feeding her a bottle walking her along the grass. She wanted to take over and tell Stefan to relax, but the sight was beautiful. A smile was on his face and nothing but love was in those green eyes of his. It made Bonnie realize just how important children are to him and how much he wanted one of his own because if he could look at this little being that's not even related to him (yet) with so much love and adoration, then there was no telling how he was going to look at their kids. Bonnie snapped a picture then walked out to join them.
"Hey,"
"Hey, sleepyhead."
Bonnie smiled. "When did she wake up?"
"Just a few minutes ago. I changed her and now we're just enjoying this day." Bonnie brought her arm around his waist. "You hungry yet? We're about an hour away till we get there."
"Yeah, I could eat."
Bonnie took Joël in her arms as they headed back to the car to try to find something to eat. The only place that sounded decent to them was McDonald's and so Stefan could eat easier, they decided to eat inside.
They received several compliments on 'their' child and would say thank you, but tell them that they were only babysitting for the day.
"She's so precious! What's her name?" Another person walked up to them.
"Thank you, her name is Joël." Bonnie said with a smile.
"You two have a beautiful daughter." The lady complimented.
"Actually she's-"
"Thank you." Stefan said over Bonnie.
"Have a nice day you two."
"Thank you. You too."
Bonnie waited until the woman was out of hearing distance. "Why did you day she was ours?"
"It's not like we're gonna see her again, why not have a little fun?"
Bonnie shrugged signaling that what he said was true.
"I'm gonna call Amber and see how things are going."
"Alright, we'll be here."
Bonnie smiled and stood up dialing her sister's number. Amber sounded stressed and Bonnie's heart went out for her and told her that they'll keep Joël until tomorrow which Amber was thankful for. Also, that way Bonnie wouldn't have to worry about getting back to Mystic Falls by the time she was going to pick her up. It was a win-win.
After exchanging I love you's and good byes, Bonnie walked back in the fast food restaurant and folded her arms under her chest and raised an eyebrow. Disapproval and jealousy was written all over her face as she continued to look at the scene before her. A yellow teeth havin, ripped clothes wearin, hairy legs woman was flirting to her Stefan (really her teeth were white, she had a great fashion sense and her legs from what Bonnie could tell from far away were smooth like butter. But whatever, she was still flirting to her Stefan).
Not wanting to watch any longer, Bonnie licked her teeth, adjusted herself, and walked right on over there.
"Hello." Bonnie interrupted the woman mid-sentence.
"Bonnie, this is Veron...ica..." Stefan realized by the look on her face that he shouldn't have said her name at all.
"Nice to meet you."
"Likewise." Bonnie said with a sarcastic smile on her face.
"Ah, well I guess we should hit the road again huh, babe?"
"Ye-"
"Where are you headed?" Veronica interrupted directing her question to Stefan and covering his hand with hers.
Did this bitch really just interrupt me and have the nerve to touch my man?
Bonnie cleared her throat and Stefan quickly and slid his hand from under hers. He stood up just in case he needed to break up a fight. He could hear Bonnie's feet tapping on the floor meaning she's losing her patience.
"West Virginia." Bonnie said instead. "We're getting married soon and we're checking out a venue."
"Oh, congratulations." She said with no excitement at all. "I hope it doesn't rain on your special day."
That had done it. "Alright you know what you got a lot of nerve-"
"Whoa, whoa, Bon, let's just-"
"Don't 'whoa' me, I'm not a freaking horse." Bonnie censored since the baby was present.
"Alright, I'm sorry." Stefan wrapped an arm around her. "Come on, we should go."
"Bye Stefan." Veronica called out.
"I'm gonna kill that bitch."
Stefan was at a disadvantage since he had the baby in one hand while trying to hold Bonnie back with the other, but somehow he managed to get her out in time.
"Is this a bad time to tell you that I find you extremely sexy right now?" Stefan told her once she was done ranting about 'Veron-a-bitch'. He managed to put Joël in the back seat and trap Bonnie between his body and the car.
"Shut up, Stefan." Bonnie rolled her eyes even though she smiled.
"Kiss me."
"No, you were flirting with that bitch."
"I was not flirting with...that bitch."
Bonnie laughed.
"Bonnie, this is Veronica." She mimicked Stefan's voice.
Stefan laughed. "You call that flirting?"
"No, but you must've done something to have her twirling her hair like a freaking teenager."
"She was not twirling her hair."
Bonnie brought her head down close to her shoulder looking at Stefan like he was an idiot.
"Aw, is my baby jealous?" When she didn't respond but instead look away, Stefan knew it was true. "My baby's jealous, my baby's jealous..." Stefan repeated over again kissing her neck and face until she started laughing and moving her head away from him.
"Stefan" Bonnie said though laughter. She saw from the corner of her eye Veronica exit the restaurant so for a little payback, Bonnie moved her head towards Stefan and kissed him. She welcomed his tongue in her mouth then opened her eyes to stare at Veronica dead in the eye. She smiled when Veronica rolled her eyes and walked away and suddenly Bonnie felt much better.
"Mmm, you want to save some for tonight?" Stefan bit down on his lip.
Bonnie kissed him again because of the move. "Actually, we have to keep Joël for the night."
"Everything okay?"
"Yeah, Amber just sounded really stressed out and I figured that we give her a break."
"Alright, your loss."
Bonnie chuckled and turned to her in the car but Stefan pulled her into another burning kiss.

It was perfect. The grass was green; the flowers were blooming in bright colors of pink, yellow, and violet. Bonnie could picture it; her walking down the aisle with her father by her side and when she finally gets to Stefan them standing under an arch of white. Nothing else mattered after they would be announced husband and wife because they're finally united as one.
"So, what do you think?" Ashley asked.
"It's perfect." Bonnie breathed.
"Yeah, I love it." Stefan agreed.
"Awesome," Ashley smiled, "now let me show you were the reception would be held."
/x/
Everything was perfect in their eyes and all the excitement wanted to make them get married next week.
"We're going to have the baddest wedding these people ever seen."
"You're damn right."
