Naruto: Primary Step Chapter 14
Around 5 years has past since Sasuke and his group had past, most of Naruto's class mate had moved up in the shinobi world
Path to Kiri
"Naruto-sensei when are we going to get there" said an impatient Miki, Miki wore the standard chunin attire but she had a scroll hanging on her back similar to her father
"Yeah I want to get back and eat I miss the ramen" said Konohamaru, he wore the standard chunin attire as well in addition to a staff on his back and his regular long scarf wrapped around his neck almost hanging to the ground
"Shut up baka we will get there when we get there right Naruto-sensei" said Hanabi batting her eyelashes at Naruto making Konohamaru fake barf with Miki laughing "Shut up baka"
"Now now be nice to each other, we should get there tomorrow if nothing happens along the way" said Naruto
"Aren't we supposed to rendezvous with Kumo along the way?" asked Miki
"Yeah but no worries I'm friends with the group we rendezvous with so you can relax firecracker" said Naruto putting his hand on Hanabi's head making her cheeks puff with embarrassment
Meanwhile
"So Sasuke are you ready to see all your own friends" said Itachi
"Of course I'm ready and can't wait to beat the crap out of Naruto and-" said Sasuke until he got elbowed in the side
"Be nice on your first way back Sasuke-kun" said Hinata glad she was back home
Hokage Tower
Jiraiya was talking to one of his toad until the door started to open and the toad poofed away forcing Jiraiya to put on his serious facade
The door opened to reveal 4 ninjas, Hinata Hyuuga, Hana Inuzuka, Itachi Uchiha, and Sasuke Uchiha
"Ah your all back that took longer than expected but hey your here I take it the trip was successful" said Jiraiya
"Yes Jiraiya we stopped numerous occurrences that would have been bad for the village and we all got some training, I recommend that Hana, Sasuke, and Hinata be promoted to Jonin" said Itachi
" I see so I'll have either Tsume or Kiba test Hana since there both jonin of the Inuzuka clan" said Jiraiya starting to write some scrolls
"My little brother became Jonin before me!" said Hana with shock written all over her face
"Oh yeah actually most of his class became jonin with only a few slightly lower than that but they have there reasons such as that Lee kid" said Jiraiya
"Give me my brother I need to show him that I am big sister of this family" Said Hana "Um...please Jiraiya-sama?"
"Sure sure, Hinata will be tested by Neji or Hiashi or even her little sister since accordingly Hinata is still a genin while Hanabi was recently promoted to chunin along with her old genin team" said Jiraiya arching an eyebrow at the irony of there being a 18 year old genin in the villages ranks
"Yes sir"
"And Sasuke there was actually a request for who you should be tested by" said Jiraiya pulling out a paper and reading it thoroughly "It was requested by one of my top jonin actually you know him quite well"
"Is it Kakashi-sensei?" asked Sasuke thinking how Kakashi is one of the villages elite jonin when he had left
"No it was by Naruto Uzumaki, he wants you to challenge his genin team since he claims if Sasuke should be jonin he needs to be able to beat my elite team" said Jiraiya quoting the letter
"Hmph fine I'll take on the dobe's brats" said Sasuke shrugging kinda pissed he isn't challenging a jonin but a genin team
"Alright the test will take place in a few days in the old stadium meanwhile get yourselves situated at home you guys been gone for awhile" said Jiraiya dismissing them
Later on
Hana went home taking Itachi with her for whatever reason, Hinata decided to go home as well to catch up with her family, leaving Sasuke to go to him and Naruto's apartment
Apartment
He unlocked the door to his apartment for a surprise, the whole apartment was almost abandoned only seeing a few boxes packed looking ready to be moved
He walked in to take everything in, everything Naruto's was gone including some other stuff that was once his, he quietly sat on the only piece of furniture he had left, the couch he started to think about what he should do in the mean time already telling himself to meet up with his old classmates the next day his thinking was interrupted when he heard the door opening
The door opened to reveal a beautiful young lady, Sasuke immediately mistaken her as Tsunade but the hair color gave it away, there was a young lady with a red haori with the Haruno white circle on the back, underneath was a white kimono style sleeveless blouse held by a red sash, along with black pants and black sandals to match, she wore her hair down with her headband tied across her head and had a green diamond marking on her forehead matching her eyes along with a soft pink lipstick
There she was Sakura Haruno the first girl to leave Sasuke speechless
"Sasuke?...Sasuke!" said an excited Sakura running up to the Uchiha "When did you get back?"
"we had just gotten back today, we all decided to part ways and I wanted to head home but..." said Sasuke gesturing around him to the empty apartment complex
"Oh sorry I moved in after you left and sometime after that we decided to get a bigger place" said Sakura starting to get last remaining boxes picking them up with one hand surprising Sasuke "What its only clothes?"
"Hn, so wheres my stuff?" asked Sasuke
"Oh we put all your stuff in your room at our place" said Sakura motioning Sasuke out the apartment with her
They walked a little bit seemingly nowhere just wandering around the village until Sakura just walked through a fence, Sasuke not knowing what happened he reached out his hand towards the fence until a hand stuck out and grabbed towards the fence and through it as well
"Wh-what the?" asked a confused Sasuke noticing the paradise like area it had a huge wooden building with a waterfall next to it and a training ground next to it
"Pretty neat huh? Come on everyone would love to see you"
"Everyone?" questioned Sasuke until he walked into the house and saw all of his old classmates even Hinata who he had thought was going to her clan compound "What is going on here?"
"Sasuke along me to reintroduce yourselves to the konoha 10" said Sakura getting into the mix of her friends
"I'm the green beast of Konoha Rock Lee!" said Lee doing his nice guy pose
"And I'm his girlfriend the number one weapon specialist in Konoha" said Tenten resting on Lee's shoulder doing the peace sign
"Neji Hyuuga the 7th best jonin in the village and commander in chief of our defense" said Neji standing next to Tenten making Sasuke feel nostalgic of the previous team gai
"And I am Ino yamanka this stick in the mud girlfriend and co-captain of the poison division" said Ino leaning on Neji
"I'm Choji Akimichi welcome back Sasuke" said Choji being simple with his approach standing tall easily towering over everyone being the gentle giant he is
"troublesome, Shikamaru Nara that's me, liaison to suna and 2nd in command of konoha's strategy plans" said a lazy Shikamaru sitting down next to Choji
"Shino Aburame that's all" said Shino
"It's Kiba Inuzuka the 2nd strongest of this group and head tracker in all of Konoha" said Kiba with his huge dog akamaru by his side
"And I'm Sakura Haruno the 2nd best medical-nin in the village" said Sakura standing in front of the whole group with Hinata next to her
"Hn. good to see you all again" said Sasuke with a smirk on his face since whenever he gets to Konoha things never go to plan since he was going to meet up with them tomorrow "SO you all live here?"
"No me Kiba and Shino don't, I live in the compound, Kiba can't leave home, and Shino prefers to be with his girlfriend" explained Neji
"I see so where is that knuckle head?" asked Sasuke looking for the orange loving ninja
"He has a mission with his team he should be back soon" answered Kiba
"Oh he's with the brats I'm supposed to fight to be promoted?" said Sasuke
"Yup Naruto is so proud of them they all were promoted to chunin" said Tenten knowing her previous students well
"Hn so the dobe can teach some kids big deal I can still beat him and his team"
"I doubt that Naruto's has a 100% mission completion including the akatsuki ones" said Shikamaru
"No big deal so does team 7"
"yeah but you only been on a few missions they have been on more than 5 times that amount" responded Shikamaru
"Still no big deal"
"Well if you think you can defeat my future husband the only 5th hokage candidate and the number 1 jonin in the village then be my guest" said Sakura showing off her ring
"What!"
"I think someone is talking about me" commented Naruto
"Well who wouldn't your so awesome boss" said Konohamaru
"Yeah I guess your right"
Rock Lee- the top Taijutsu specialist he has mastered Gai's Taijutsu and even added his own little spin on it, he convinced the Hokage to allow him to build a dojo for students wanting to learn good taijutsu shall go, he earned the rank of Jonin specialist since on paper he has no skill in ninjutsu or genjutsu so he can never achieve the rank of jonin but with his skill they promoted him to jonin specialist

Neji Hyuuga- having mastered the Hyuuga's taijutsu style long before becoming a jonin with his newly acquired Azayaka Byakugan (See profile for more info) he fixed the Hyuuga's problem of close range specialists to now being able to do long range, and with this knowledge he was able to become Jonin, he is commander in chief of Konoha's defenses boyfriend to Ino Yamanka

Shino Aburame- the bug user of the little group of the rookies and team Gai, after becoming chunin he worked on recreating his cousins Torune style of fighting being able to get in close range with his bugs meaning he has become more agile even losing the big coat he always had on becoming a force to be reckoned with, becoming a couple with Taki's jinchuriki Fuu after a mission there with a few others they agreed that Fuu may become a shinobi under Konoha

Kiba Inuzuka- he and his partner Akamaru had fully mastered the inuzuka clans techniques even learning the shadow clone jutsu to increase his partner style fighting attacks, since he became a chunin he started to experiment with elemental chakra specifically lightning and fire finding out what his affinity was he practiced over and over to add his elements to his Fang over Fang technique. Kiba has been in a long distance secret relationship with cloud ninja Karui with only a few actually knowing about it not even his own mother :o, He is the head tracker in Konoha whenever his mother isn't up to the task Rank Jonin

Choji Akimichi- He became a chunin when he fully mastered human boulder technique able to stop, turn, slow down, and speed up when necessary, he learned the full expansion jutsu and his currently learning the calorie control technique with out the use of the pills, he and his girlfriend along with her ather and a few others opened a huge restauraunt in the village that puts others to shame thanks to how inexpensive, lively and comfortable it is. Choji is in a relationship with Ayame Ichiraku.

Shikamaru Nara- tokubetsu Jonin, liaison to Suna, he mastered more of Nara clans shadow technique, he is the second in comand in Konoha's strategic movements only behind his father, his skills improved now he's not afraid get into taijutsu combat still prefers his mid-long range techniques. He is in a relationship with Temari

Sakura Haruno-Jonin, only at 18 years old she is the 2nd best medical-nin in the village ahead of Shizune and only behind Tsunade, she mastered Tsunade's chakra enhanced strength, and Shizune's chakra scalpel, plus with her regular aptitude to genjutsu and numerous earth style jutsus she learned she had to be a jonin no way around it. She had reproduced Tsunade's Seal now possessing a diamond mark on her forehead. Sakura is the Fiance to Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto Uzumaki- the only candidate for Fifth Hokage, being apprentice to Kakashi Hatake the copy nin and Jiraiya of the sannin, and son of the fourth Hokage he was 'destined' to be a great shinobi, being the first of his age group to become jonin thanks to him recreating the fourths signature jutsu added in with his own skill no enemy can walk away without at least a bruising, he is known as Naruto the hidden leaf, thanks to his use of his personal technique the Leaf clone and the combination of the Flying Thunder God jutsu and his own natural speed thanks to his weights and with other techniques most only see the leaves falling down to the ground before they leave this world, Naruto is also the first chunin to be in charge of his own genin squad which consisted of Konohamaru Sarutobi Hanabi Hyuuga and Miki Senju

Yeah Miki Senju apparently 15 years ago when Tsunade was still wandering around still, Jiraiya found her and lets say they got drunk and Tsunade couldn't control herself that one night, anyway somehow managed to bring out the Mokuton out of Tsunade allowing Miki to use wood techniques.
Miki looked just like Tsunade when she was kid hairstyle and everything, only difference is that she had white hair, and two red lines down her face
Anyway Naruto's squad recently all acquired the rank chunin, they could have gotten earlier but with the threat of Akatsuki around they kept missing the chunin exams
Speaking of Akatsuki there numbers have lowered:
Sakura, lady chiyo and Kankuro had taken down Sasori
Iwa ninja had taken down Deidara
Kisame,Tobi,Zetsu, and two other mysterious ninja are still free
Hidan is buried underground with his body parts scattered around thanks to Shikamaru and Asuma
Kakazu was taken down by Naruto single-handed
Orochimaru rejoined them now that Itachi is no longer part of Akatsuki meaning that Akatsuki have the Sound village to their disposal
However too many Jinchuriki have had their Bijuu taken from them
Yagura had his gone 4 years ago
Yuugito and Utakata had there s taken 3 years ago
Gaara had his gone 2 years ago luckily he was revived by Lady Chiyo
Han and Roshi had theirs taken not even a year ago
Meaning Fuu Killer Bee and Naruto are the only ones left (7,8,9)
Jiraiya is still in charge of the village still holding onto the spot that he was supposed to be holding onto ever since his sensei retired from the position, he misses being able to travel but he knows this won't be his job for much longer
Tsunade is happy with her progress with Sakura now relieved knowing someone can carry on her legacy especially now that she is together with her son figure, and that her previous apprentice is happy with her family, and that her daughter is already a chunin.
Hiruzen is enjoying his retirement now that he ha lower stress he is able to move along more freely and even able to move almost like he used to when he was in his prime, in other words the stress was killing him, he is now able to train his grandson Konohamaru in the style of the monkey
Kakashi and Shizune had a happy life having two children one girl and one boy, they eventually moved in together after the revelation of their first child, they actually got along great even though Shizune was older, but they had similar experiences it helps that there friends got together too so now they can successfully do what they were striving for and pass on the will of fire
Asuma and Kurenai didn't have a child to much after Kakashi and Shizune, then again they have been a couple for a longer time so it was natural, they had two children as well a boy then a girl but they it was best to slow down since there friends needed some relationship help
Gai and Anko... who would have thought, after realizing that Kakashi was ahead of him again he needed to find a mate and so happens that Anko was trying to find a man who can handle her
Konohamaru was actually enjoying his life a lot better ever since his genin years, his best friend Udon realized he didn't have what it was cut out to be a shinobi so he joined Choji's business as their financial manager since he loves Math, Moegi got a serious injury that had her family furious so she had to drop out she is now a full time medical nin however, that meant he had to get two teammates, since his sensei and rival Naruto said even though the apprenticeship is nice and all you need a team to be able to be promoted to chunin and that was where Hanabi Hyuuga came in, being the top of her class and that her class was and odd number she was put on a more experience genin team
Hanabi Hyuuga after being humiliated by Konohamru and her sensei after her first day on the team by losing in a spar against both of them and being dubbed as firecracker by her sensei Naruto, Naruto put her in a more strenuous training regime than Konohamaru since he was more ninjutsu while Hanabi was more taijutsu so he had her wear weights to increase speed and spar numerous of times with Konohamaru she easily caught, having them as one of the top 3 man teams in Konoha.
However with the threat of Akatsuki after her sensei she worked harder than ever to protect him even developing a cute crush on her sensei even though he is already in a relationship, but she knows she still needs to move up in her career as ninja even though they have been on A-rank missions
Thats where Miki comes in, after Naruto finished his sage training, Jiraiya then informed him of his 3rd genin member, it was shock to everyone including Tsunade that Miki was the daughter of Jiraiya and Tsunade, it was even more of a surprise that after training with Team 11(Team Naruto) she had used wood style in a sparing match, after research upon research Jiraiya use of senjutsu helped bring out the wood style of Tsunade , thus unless it needs to be repeated through Miki, the senju clan should be revived with all being able to use Mokuton
After they became chunin they went under apprenticeships, Konohamaru with his grandfather, Hanabi with Neji, and Miki with Tenzou/Yamato
