Satoshi tugged his hair in frustration while he sat in his old room. Yuka's room, now. His father had made him go home since Yuka hadn't woken up yet and he still had classes to go to. But he couldn't just sit still while his little sister was in a hospital bed with injuries! How could his father expect him to do that?

The police had left a little while earlier after investigating Yuka's old room and came up with nothing. They had promised to keep up with the search, and said that given the circumstances, they'd try and connect it with what happened to Suzumoto and Morishige. The circumstances being that not only did Satoshi know all of the victims, the victims knew each other, and that they weren't your average murders-or attempted in Yuka's case.

Satoshi had stayed quiet about what he thought had happened, because he had a feeling that something had followed them from Suzumoto's apartment. Either that, or whatever was in there attacking them wasn't finished. He planned on asking Yuka when she woke up what she really saw, but until then he could only guess. The door to the little room was locked shut now, with the keyhole plugged with wax. Just in case, his mother had told him.

Shaking his head, Satoshi got up from the bedroom and walked down to the first floor. After sending his father a text that he was leaving, he grabbed his coat and began walking to the nearest bar.

Misuto never really gave any thought as to what he would do when he finished his plan. But he did know who he wanted to be there with him right by his side; Hinoe. And he knew the reason why he had to see his plan through; also Hinoe. He didn't particularly care for the people of his past, and he didn't entirely miss them. In general, Misuto didn't care for people at all. They just didn't cut it for him.

Hinoe, on the other hand, showed him something he never would have dreamed of. She was different from other people, and her kindness towards Misuto stirred something inside of him. He wanted to keep that all to himself, and he wanted her. But she wasn't too inclined towards Misuto's...methods, for lack of a better term, of doing things. But that was okay, because once she saw what would come of his plans, she'd understand why he was doing this.

What Misuto wanted to do was change the world. And he needed Heavenly Host in order to do so. See, in this world, things were not up to his standards. For example, the actual reality of Heavenly Host did not exist. As a result, the Book of Shadows couldn't appear in the form of completion that Misuto wished for. Also, the necessary deaths that needed to happen wouldn't happen naturally. So with a little interference here and there, everything was set into place. He still needed two people gone, although he wouldn't mind if one more dropped dead. However, Misuto needed this timeline to be as close as possible to the main line, or else nothing would work how he wanted.

Another thing that needed to be taken care of was the actual collapse of Heavenly Host; he needed to time things just right so that everything on this timeline was ready to be manipulated, but also that Heavenly Host could collapse for good. Sure, the school was destroyed before, but the actual Nehan, the dimension that the school resided in; all of it would be gone. And it wouldn't pose any more trouble to Misuto. That is, so long as Hinoe doesn't find out. And there's but so much time he had until she did find out.

Until then, he had to focus on carrying out the next part of his plan. So for now, his next stop was the Suzumoto girl's apartment.

Ayumi huffed in irritation. No one was answering their cells. No one. Not even Kishinuma, who always answered her when she called. But maybe he was at work.

Nakashima didn't really have an excuse, though. The two of them may have their problems, but she could still answer the damn phone! But maybe she was with Shinohara. Which would explain why Shinohara didn't answer either.

But what about Mochida? They rarely spoke on the phone, but they did share a few mails here and there. And he was supposed to be the nice one, not the one who ignores you. What the hell? Ayumi couldn't think of an excuse for why he wouldn't answer.

And her sister didn't answer her either. Damn, this was irritating.

"What's so hard about answering a cell phone? You press answer, put the phone to your ear and speak. This is annoying."

"I know right? Total pain in the ass."

Oh no. Not right now. She absolutely did not want to deal with Misuto right now. He would do something to make sure she would be pissed. And she could tell he was up to something, though she didn't know what. Basically, he'd get in the way.

"What do you want?" She groaned, sending a quick text to her sister instead. This was important, so hopefully Hinoe would see the message she sent. She had took pictures, too, so she'd send them later.

"Nothing. What are you doing here, brat?"

"Brat?! Look who's talking? Anyways, it isn't any of your business. Aunt Makina is part of the family, and I was just...checking up on her belongings. The real question is, why are YOU here?"

Really, Ayumi was looking for a certain book. She didn't find it, of course, but she did find something else that she found interesting: a set of journal entries in a little black book. She wasn't sure if it was Makina's hand writing, but she planned on asking her father. After that, she planned on continuing her search for that certain book. She had recalled her sister saying that the key to a lot of black magic could be found in the Book of Shadows. So maybe they could figure out what was actually going on lately with the events from Mayu's apartment with that.

She had also found an interesting set of stones in the apartment. That was what she wanted to show Hinoe and see if her sister knew anything about them or what they were doing in her aunt's apartment.

Ayumi didn't know that Misuto was looking for the exact same thing, and had come up empty with his search. And seeing how Ayumi wasn't carrying the Book of Shadows, and he didn't feel its presence, he realized he had searched everywhere. There was nowhere else for him to look at the moment.

"I wasn't really doing much. Hinoe mentioned the place to me once, so I wanted to check it out. Anyways," he waved, "catch ya later."

Not too long after Misuto left, Ayumi followed, heading towards her parents' home to show her father the little journal. She hadn't read much of it, but the events were a little odd, and the dates were completely screwed up. So she wasn't really sure what it was, but it was worth keeping anyways.

A/N: So this chapter features Satoshi ready to get drunk, Misuto being a dick and planning stuff, and Ayumi is figuring out the plot. Kind of. But seriously, Ayumi's little section is very important, and I will be covering that next chapter. That, and Yuka's situation. This chapter should have been out earlier, but it would have been much different(it got deleted). It was about Sachi, but I tried to write it over and it didn't work the way it did before. So that will be saved for much later. Also idk if I got Makina's relation to Ayumi right, so if anyone knows please correct me. Anyways, I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter. Please review!
