Chapter 14
(Authors Note-With college and riding draining me, these will be shorter chapters. Please let me know what you think about this chapter by reviewing! This story may be placed on-hiatus due to real life and the fact that my muse has run dry. I'm truly so sorry. )
(The Sunday before Monday Night Raw in Lake Erie, PA)
(Allie's point of view)- I was heading to the hotel's restaurant to meet with Jonathan. Roman was so keen on going with me, but I told him that this situation shouldn't have involved him and that I'd handle this myself. He understood my point and let it go without another word, but we both knew that this would make our friendship stronger, regardless if he nor I wanted to admit it. As I got into the elevator, I hoped and prayed for the best. I also tried to avoid the fact this situation may turn into the exact opposite way that I wanted. As soon as the elevator's doors opened, both my heart and stomach were in knots. I heard a familar song playing in the restaurant and I remember why I agreed to speak with Jonathan after all and that was because I really didn't want to let him go, and I was determined to make things right and salvage our relationship no matter what it took. I exhaled as I approached Jonathan's table-he was nursing a whiskey on the rocks(which he never even drank that particular drink unless he was preoccupied with his thoughts). The last time he imbibed was when he lost the US Championship. The only reason I really knew was that he called me that night. Also, the fact that Seth had mentioned how he emotional he was after drinking surprised me. Anyway, I headed over to the table and sat down. He looked me in the eyes, with sadness in his heart. (I heard the electronic beginning of "Nirvana" by Blood on the dance floor, I usually didn't like the genre but when I was twenty, I gave the genre another chance.) I was still looking into Jon's eyes as my eyes moved downward to his lips, he was mouthing "I'm sorry! Please forgive me?". I took his outstretched hand and we left the hotel's restaurant after Jon had paid his bar tab. Once we got on the elevator, I used my strength to hold him up while walking-he was the same height as I, but his weight was a whole different animal. By the time he and I got off the elevator and to the room we shared, my shoulder was aching. I decided to avoid every social media account I had until the next morning when we'd be in Miami for Smackdown. After I had gotten out of the shower and brushed my teeth, I placed a glass of water and two Advil on Dean's side of the hotel's bed. I kissed his lips as I pulled the duvet and sheets under me and listened to Jon's soft heartbeat in the adjacent bed, hoping tomorrow would be kind.
(Time Skip, Paige's point of view)-It was around seven thirty when Colby came to my room to take me to breakfast. I could tell he was preoccupied by something, so I decided to go ahead and dress and then I waited until the very last minute to place my plugs in so that I don't have to have naked lobes around my bosses and Colby. At least, I'm grateful that he appears to be cool with my streched ears. Today, I pick a pair of rose quartz that I wear on special occasions and when I want to look pretty and not be so heavily made up compared to my usual stage/wrestling makeup.
(Meanwhile, across the hall-Allie's point of view)-My alarm went off at precisely 7 AM. When Jon woke up, ten minutes after I did-I didn't have to remind him to take medicine for his hangover-which means he really must being having a rough one. As I finished putting jewelry on (and that included my green plugs). He embraces me in a passionate kiss and doesn't let me go until we both needed air. I decided that I was hungry, so I headed down to the hotel's restaurant to go ahead and get everything ready for Miami. I really didn't feel up to going to Florida and considered asking Stephanie and Paul at breakfast for time off, but the fact that I was poised to become a seven time divas champion hanging in the balance, I decided to not mention anything. I eventually decided on a omelet with veggies and a Peach yogurt cup. Jon gets a meat plate and orange juice. A few moments pass after we are done eating, so I decided to talk to him. "Jon, Are you ready to go to Miami?" he sighed and said, "No, because I can tell that you're nervous about going." I sighed and said, "I just thought we'd be able to enjoy something for once. He smiled shyly and then said, "I really like the plugs you picked out today". That made me smile with glee as we headed out to the rental. "I swear, when you work for the WWE-there's no point in having a house or even a car-because we live out of suitcases and makeup cases anyway" I thought. As we turned on to the interstate, it was a comfortable silence. I fell asleep by the time we reached the Georgia/Florida border. I was awakened by my phone playing my Dad's entrance theme. He must be worried about me since I haven't talked to him in several days. I decided that I'd talk to him when we got to the hotel because I was exhausted for some reason, but I knew I'd have to see medical today if I kept feeling this way because their is no way I can go and wrestle like this.
(Twenty minutes later, at the arena)-Jon and I were one of the first people to arrive. Colby and Paige came about ten minutes later. As I looked over my script, I hear a knock at the door and naturally I let them in. After I place my makeup with the lid on the vanity table, I open the door and gasp. The only thing I felt was my knees buckling and someone carrying me and heavy breathing.
(A\N-I hate to leave you guys with a cliffhanger, but all will be revealed in the next chapter. Any guesses?)
