Hey Hey everyone! It's been quite a while since I've posted a new chapter...my apologies! Here's chapter fourteen for ya I hope you enjoy reading!

5 months later….

It was a beautiful Friday afternoon in the city of Tokyo, today was the last day of school before a two week vacation, it was that time of year when all the students take a break from their studies and have a little fun before all the testing begins.

Now that Xiao was still busy at school and Mom and Dad were in town, Jin thought this would be the perfect time to gather everyone up and discuss something important with them.

Inside Jin's home….

Everyone (Mom, Dad and Grandpa) was seated inside the enormous living room waiting for what Jin had to say.

Jin: "Hello family….the reason I had asked you all to come is because….."

Grandpa: "Don't tell me you're going to leave our Xiao behind! You've been acting quite weird lately."

Jin: "No, no that's not it at all!"

Grandpa: "Well what is this about.."

Mom: "Oh father please, let's just be quiet and let Jin speak."

Grandpa: "Oh fine…go ahead just don't beat around the bush."

Jin: *nervously clears throat* "I would like your blessings to marry Xiaoyu."

Everyone's jaw dropped to the floor, they were all astonished….

He suddenly felt like he was on one of those singing competition shows and he had just finished singing his song and was preparing himself for the three judge's answers and comments.

(Mom's thoughts)

Oh my…I hope I heard right! Xiao's prince asked for our blessing in their marriage?! This is so exciting I'll have to call Mrs. Hui-ying….my sister, Uncle Dao, Fei, Namie, Hara, Sakura, Minji, Tamaki…oh my I've got to make a list of all the guest I'll invite! Finally my little girl will be marrying the man of her dreams, now I can die in peace! I wonder what type of dresses the bridesmaids will wear…what type of cake….*mental gasp* what type of WEDDING dress she will wear….of course it has to be elegant and beautiful…I'm sure Mrs. Hui-ying will take care of her, she did a pretty good job on her when I hired her to make Xiao over for Dao's party.

(Dad's thoughts)

….is this for real?

(Grandpa's thoughts)

I think I need to slap myself to make sure this is reality…

Grandpa: "How bold of you…"

Dad: "You told him to not beat around the bush."

Grandpa: "The boy listens to his elders… I like that…I will accept and bless this marriage!" *grins*

Jin was actually surprised at how kind Grandpa was towards him, because usually he was more serious around him.

Mom: *Voice echoes through the whole mansion* "Yes yes of course Jin!"

Dad: "Shhh….honey please lower your voice."

Mom: *quietly giggles* "Sorry."

Dad: *looks back at Jin* "Yes of course son." *smiles*

Now that the comments and answers were all laid out on the table Jin felt confident and happy once again.

Jin: *respectfully bows* "Thank you all so much!" *stands back up and smiles*

*The three stand up and step closer to him.*

Mom: "This is so exciting, thank you for being good to her." *smiles*

Jin: "I always try my best to make sure she's happy."

Dad: "You're a good man."

Grandpa: *smiles* "You're marriage will be full of good fortune and happiness."

A couple hours later…..

Now that everything had been settled with her parents and grandfather, he was now in stage two of his five stage plan. Now all he had to do was kidnap her from school and take her away to a special place.

Stage three was now in action.

All he had to do now was sit back and relax in the back of his dark car and wait until she was escorted to him. As a hoard of students (Including Xiao) walked out of one of the buildings, two of Jin's security guards casually walked up to her.

Guard 1: "It's a pleasure to see you Miss Xiaoyu."

Xiao: *looks at both of them* "Huh?"

Guard 2: "Please come with us."

Xiao: "Wait…..no way who are you guys?"

Guard 1: "It would benefit all of us if you just stop asking questions."

Without another word, both guards held onto her arms and walked her to the car.

Xiao: "W-wait hold on!"

They open the door and politely push her in, as soon as they shut the door she reached for the door handle and tried to escape but it was no use.

"Ahhhhhh I don't want to die!"

Jin: "Aw am I really that bad?"

Xiao: "….." *looks back at him with wide eyes* "What? What's going on?"

Jin: *smirks* "Surprise."

Xiao: "Pshh….Surprise? Where are you taking me and why did you make those guys kidnap me all of a sudden? What is going on?!"

Jin: "Shh calm down Xiao, I can't tell you so stop asking questions."

Xiao: "Fine, fine."

20 minutes later, outside the airport…..

She stood there confused and curious…..

"Why are we at the airport?"

Jin: "I said no questions."

Xiao: "But Jin…I have no luggage or anything."

Jin: *points at the bellboys unloading their luggage.* "Don't worry everything is prepared."

(Xiao's thoughts)

Just what is this guy thinking? What the heck is going on?

As they boarded onto the plane her thoughts were going wild, she was so curious about what he was thinking that she couldn't settle herself down and he took notice of this. He calmly put his hand over hers and intertwined their fingers.

Jin: "Trust me okay? You'll see what I have planned for us soon, so for now please rest."

With those comforting words, she finally settled down and actually relaxed.

9 hours and 25 minutes later….

It was late at night (10:15 PM) when they finally arrived in the beautiful island of Fiji, he picked this place because of the fresh air of the ocean breeze and of course the beautiful surroundings.

At the Fiji airport….

Xiao: "Wow…we're in Fiji!?"

Jin: "Yup."

Xiao: "But why?"

Jin: "No questions Xiao."

Xiao: *pouts* "Hmp."

Stage four complete.

After they settled into their giant two bedded hotel room, they peacefully slept away the night. Once daylight struck they woke from their slumber and started their day. He took her to explore the beauty of the island, first they explored under the sea and swam with all the colorful fishes and sea creatures, after that they went back above sea with a speed boat and cruised at high speeds around the wide open area.

Just one more step and this operation will be complete…

As the day went on and the sun began lowering itself into the sea, he led her to a secluded cabana that sat on top of a hill. The view from up there was absolutely stunning which is why he picked this location for the final stage of his plan. Once they reached the top, she saw a table with two candles lit, rose petals scattered on the white table cloth and scrumptious food set out on both side of the table.

Xiao: "Oh wow….this is just amazing."

Jin: *pulls her seat out* "This is just the beginning."

Xiao: *sits down* "Thanks."

And so after they finished their meal, they sat for a few minutes and chatted. This was it….the moment he's been waiting for; the final stage of his operation was now in action…. Well almost anyways, Xiao submerged herself into a deep conversation while Jin was quietly listening.

Xiao: "Anyways my culinary classmate Molly totally invited me to her party yesterday again for the fifteenth time! I keep telling her no because I'm not really the wild party type of person. That reminds me, you know how my mom always nags us about going on a family vacation together?

Jin: "Xiao."

Yeah well she asked me again the other day and she was telling me about her plans for all of us to go to Hawaii together! It would probably be fun visiting there, I've seen pictures and everything so I'm totally into the idea, I wonder which part we'll be visiting. I've researched a lot about…..

Jin: "Xiao."

Xiao: "Huh? Oh sorry…I didn't mean to talk so much." *blushes in embarrassment*

Jin: *laughs* "Don't worry."

Without another word he stands up and takes her hand in his and leads her down the stairs towards the soft white sand. The clear blue water was sparkling beautifully and the sky was colored with a mixture of pink, yellow, blue and orange. The scene was just gorgeous, after walking to the perfect spot he stopped and looked down at her with sincere eyes.

Xiao: "Hey I just wanted to saythank you for everything today, I had a really nice time here." *smiles*

Jin: "You're very welcome my lotus flower." *reaches down and kisses her on the cheek*

He was now ready to get complete stage five…..

"Xiao."

Xiao: "Hmm?"

*He looks deep in her eyes and holds both her hands in his.*

Jin: "I love you so much. When I met you I couldn't have imagined what our relationship would evolve into, or how much you could mean to me, although from the second I met you I knew that you were very special. Now I know how very special you really are and I am so in love with you. You've taken me to a place that I couldn't have believed possible. Let's continue this forever, building the perfect life, and growing old together. I'll be your knight in shining armor; I'll be there to protect you from all that life can throw at you. Be my wife, and give me the privilege of being your husband, always and forever."

*pulls out a blue box and kneels down on one knee, then looks up at her*

*opens the box and exposes a big fat diamond ring* "Xiaoyu will you marry me?"

Xiao: *stares down at him then at the ring* "Jin…."

(Xiao's thoughts)
Did he p…p…p-propose? Is this for real….Oh my GOSH!

With all those heat melting words and his handsome face looking down at her, her knees almost gave out.

Jin: "Xiao!"

She swayed back but was caught by his strong arms.

Jin: "Xiao are you okay?"

Xiao: "Yes yes yes!"

Jin: "Yes you're okay….or yes you'll marry me?"

Xiao: "Both!" *giggles*

*She jumps up and wraps her arms around his neck, still giggling with joy*

(Jin's thoughts)

Awesome She said yes!

After spinning her round and happily laughing and chatting with her, they settled down. At this point he finally places the ring on her finger.

She viewed it happily but quickly returned her joyful gaze up to him, she held his hands and jumped up and down.

Xiao: "This is the best day ever!"

Finally their dreams came true, after all they have been through they finally came together and agreed to spend the rest of their lives together forever. After all, those moments of tears, laughter and joy was just a part of their journey to find each other and reconnect. It seems that they both can now finally relax peacefully and not worry about anything, I mean why should they? They have all eternity together now.

So this is it...the final chapter of A Maiden's Love! I had fun writing this story. x3
