Cas, completely confused, turned around and walked out of the sheriff's office. He sat down on one of the benches in the booking area.

"You ok?", Dean asked as he sat next to Cas.

"Are we really ready to take another one in? Especially this one", Cas said

"I don't know but are we really going to let her slip back into the foster care system?", Dean replied shaking his head.

"Do you know how to raise a teenage girl? Cause I sure as hell don't", Cas asked, tears in his eyes.

"She's almost 17 how hard can it be", Dean replied trying to console his partner.

"It's very hard! Are WE really the ones that can give her the life she deserves?", Cas said, tears rolling down his face.

"We can at least try, Gabe and Sam are turning out pretty OK", Dean said.

"One night, one night and if she still wants to leave then we have to let her go",Cas says, wiping the tears away.

Dean only nods as he follows his partner back into the office.

"If you'd like, you can stay with us a night and see how you feel tomorrow, if you still do not wanna be a part of our family then we can bring you back tomorrow", Dean asks Charlie.

"Not like I have a real choice", she shrugs and throws her hands up in defeat.

"Well looks like it's settled then", the sheriff says, signing the papers that releases Charlie into Dean's custody.

The boys walked out silently, Gabe trailing behind Sam as Charlie stomped her way to the car. Cas suddenly realized their gonna need more room, Charlie was not gonna be happy about being sandwiched between the boys.

"You can ride in the front", Cas offered to the girl.

"Was gonna sit there anyways", she spat.

"Imma smack a hoe", Gabe whispered to Sam

"Shes your sister", the pair laughed and smashed their way into the cramped back seat.

"I'm hungry", she announced

"Um is there anything that you might like or be in the mood for", Dean asked the small hostile creature in his passenger seat.

"I don't know", she replied, shrugging.

"Ok...well dinners in an hour if you'd like to wait", Cas offered.

"Whatever", Charlie says, rolling her eyes.

The car ride home was thick with awkward tension. Nobody said a word the rest of the way home. It wasn't until the impala screeched into the driveway was the silence finally broken.

"What did mom tell you", Gabe asks.

Charlie whipped her head around at a speed which shocked the boys, "Don't ever call her that, shes not YOUR mom" she yelled.

"Screw you", Gabe shouted back, swinging the car door open and stomping up the stoop.

"Gabe wait", Sam yelled after his boyfriend.

"No I am SO done with her shit, YOU honestly think we care about your opinion or OUR mothers? All you've done since we met you is be disrespectful and stressful, if ya hate us that much then bye bitch", Gabe yelled waving in Charlie's direction.

"He's right you know", Cas said as he too got out of the car.

"I'm not sure what you've been through that's made you so hateful but we only allow love in this house and if you can't respect that then maybe this isn't the right forever home for you" Dean replies as he shuts the car door, leaving the girl by herself in the car.

She just sat there, in awe, wondering where that came from. Were these really the boys that her mother had spoken so harshly about? She didn't know what to think or who to trust. But she did know that she needed a place to sleep. The house was bigger than she thought; she actually had her own room.

Dean showed Charlie to her room when she finally decided she was ready to go inside...
