Okay, hi again everyone thanks for still following this story and a very big thank you for you all out there who followed and favorited this story (or just either is fine too) it really warms my heart to find in my email the auto-mail from fanfiction saying that some of you guys followed/favorited my story, also I'm still waiting that long awaited PM that someone will be my beta-reader, and of course the constructive reviews. Well anyway here's your next chapter for A Delinquent Love Life.

I guess I can find out the reason why everyone calls him a delinquent some other times. For now, I'm just going to enjoy this nice stroll with him.

…Okay maybe with all his quirk and silliness along the way.
Okay I wasn't expecting this, not in my all of my life or existence have I ever thought anything like this could happen. You guys might be wondering what did happen? Well let me tell you this, first Erza was lying on the couch while holding to some kind of a bamboo sword in her hand which is more likely to be a kendo-practicing equipment, second Gray knocked down on the floor with only tablecloth covering him, remind me to tell Natsu to burn that and also to have Gray replace it with a new one, oh yeah talking about Natsu he was currently sleeping soundly on the floor a little bit far from where were Gray was with a mild bum on his head probably because of either Erza or Gray.
I was expecting somethings around the usual things when I woke up today but today the world had to surprise me with this view of my apartment living room, no one ever told that by becoming friends with this unique bunch I will be rewarded with this-this…. I don't know what to call it anymore not even in the past months of being friends with them showed this kind of surprise but I guess I have to live with it huh.
How did this happen you ask? Well it was all started when Natsu and I arrived at my apartment door it was around 05.00 PM when we had arrived, Apparently it turned out that our walk to my place had so many in between events, starting when we had to take a break at the park we passed, then we went to Levy's house to help her decide on what book she had to order online or more like just doing all the work while Natsu just played with the things her bookshelves before it had fallen on him and it became a 'Save Natsu from being drowned in a sea of books' for me and Levy, eventually we found out people do can pass out from spending too much time cramped inside a very book pile, Levy almost suggested me to do CPR on him but I managed to shut her up before finishing the sentence.
And the last but not least we helped Wendy and a boy around her age (who I think his name was Romeo) carry some boxes that are needed prepare for their school event, before (Finally) we reached my apartment, but it seemed that the world is not yet finished in surprising me. After unlocking my apartment door, I managed to found Erza was sipping on one of my tea cup, while Gray was reading one of my teen magazines, while I was gaping Natsu just greeted them normally as if it was a normal occurrence to him, After I managed to straighten myself, I greeted them too while asking how in the world they managed to get in.
After a few explanations from them both, it took all my will power to not be mad at them, seriously Gray entered my apartment from my air ventilation, while Erza just kicked down my door, and don't even try to ask me on how she managed to fix it back. But considering they're my closest friend ever since I moved here, I could only shake the stress away from my head. We talked for the rest of day until night came which apparently Natsu had an outstanding idea, his words not mine, that all three of them could just spend a night here, I apparently while still just trying to fit the suggestion into my head just nodded at everything they asked about the sleepover. I left them to rest myself before I got a headache from all off this and didn't care whatever they do in the downstairs.
Which caused me now to just ignore them like last night. I guess I can make my myself some breakfast food without waking them up If I could just tip toe to the kitchen…
"*Groans* L-lucy." Of course, Natsu just had to wake up, but wait did he say my name?
I turned around to see that check on him, to see that he seems to be groggily moving his body before doing his wake up stretch or so I thought. *Sigh* Just when I thought I can have peaceful morning breakfast it seemed like it will get more interesting with him being awake. Before turning his body to face me.
"Yeah Natsu, I'm here." I said waving my hand a little, while smiling weakly at him.
"Man, last night was awesome If you only you could stay awake a little longer Lucy you could've seen Walking Ice Sculpture face when he suddenly blurted out his secret about him stealing a half bite of Erza's share of cake during her birthday party." He said while chuckling a little. Okay it's nice to know they can have fun without me. What am I talking about, of course they can.
"Oh yeah, we also played a little phone call prank, you're not gonna believe what Gajeel reaction was when we called him, but it was hard to act and sound serious when you're doing a prank though." Now I got curious what did he do anyway.
Natsu plopped down in one of my beanbag cushion trying his best to stifle his laugh, so I thought I can ask him about it.
"Hey Natsu, what did you tell him anyway?" I canceled my previous thoughts about getting breakfast, what Natsu said had given me the curiosity.
"Well you know Gajeel has a cat named Panther Lily so I got the idea to scare him by telling him that his cat has gone through a surgery in the vet because of some accident that I made up which to some more convincing to make him fall for it, anyway after falling for our lie he suddenly cut the phone call." Okay this is a bit hilarious, I'm still laughing inside.
"So, what happened after that?" I asked him back. I found out he's still trying to not laugh, but I can in his face he's failing miserably in hiding it.
"S-so after a while, I received a message full of curse words from also I found out that he did actually go to so many vets to find where his cat is being "taking care" off to, he like visited 5 or more vets around town. In fact, he almost threatened one of the veterinarian who he though was lying about his cat is not in their vet." by now he was downright laughing his butt off on the floor. I who suddenly found his laugh is contagious started laughing alongside him but still not as much as him though.
After our laughing moments, we finally managed to calm down and catch our breaths, then I saw Natsu got up from the floor and went back to sit right on the beanbag cushion, then I suddenly remembered about Erza and Gray.
"But wait, what about Erza and Gray what did they do?"
"Oh, only me and Gray did the prank phone calls, you know even though I hate to admit it, Ice Princess did suggest so many possible victims and how to prank them, about Erza… Meh she doesn't do much except when we tried to prank phone call Jellal- "
"Wait Jellal, who's Jellal?" I cut him off, I never heard any Jellal before or at least I think I am.
"What? You never met him before, or at least heard Erza talking about him? That's odd usually she talks about him, at least once in a while" Hmm okay let me remember, Jellal, Jellal, Jell-
"Is this Jellal person by any chance a sophomore with blue hair and has a weird tattoo under his right eye?" I suddenly asked him, just to make sure.
"Yeah, that's him alright." Natsu's answer came right away, oh so that's Jellal… I remembered him when we girls have our weekly talk about boys, also for some weird unknown reason the boys we talked about is always the people that usually hung out in the Fairy Tail Café, mostly Juvia admitting her undying yet unrequited love for her Gray-sama she said, while the others just suffer if they ever get a turn, luckily for me I never get a turn for me to talk about any boys.
"Hey why are ya smiling to yourself Luce?" I turned to face Natsu to find his face a bit confused, I just shrugged.
"Nothing Natsu, just something about the girls."
"Really? Tell me tell me"
"You don't really want to know, anyway what about Erza phone prank calling Jellal?" I hope that subject change tactic will work, because I don't really want to tell him anything about our girls talk. He'll just get confused by it anyway.
Now that I think about it nobody ever mentioned Natsu except if being paired with Lisanna back then, and I think it was about their childhood "romance" days, I even remember that Lisanna's very apparent blush on her cheeks. Gosh, how I really want to see something that cute. Looking back at Natsu I wonder what he looks like when he was just a kid, is he the cute and cuddly kind or the naughty and uncontrollable kind...
Anyhow, it might be better to return my focus to the now awaken Erza and Gray chatting with such content with Natsu. I wonder, have I been talking to myself that long that I don't realize they're less than needed awakening?
Don't get me wrong I do love Erza and Gray both, but just remembering last night events made me cringe. I really hope that I mentality can last with all these shenanigans my friends do.
"Oi Lucy how long are you gonna space out?"
Oh darn, was I spacing out again?
"O-oh sorry you guys."
"Come on here, join us!" Even though it's so nice of Gray to invite me to their little chat I really want to take my refreshing morning bath which I haven't done cause my curiosity and anxiety of what they can do in my living and guest's room made myself think to check on them first.
But even so, I can't just turn down some nice and worthwhile chat with friends, can I?
"Alright you guys, so what's up?" I took a seat next to Gray which from the looks of it ticked Natsu a bit. How could I know? Well it's just a hunch or maybe the deadly glare he gives to Gray as soon as I finally put my butt on my seat. I might as well ignore it for now.
"Nah nothing's really important just remembering all our jokes and pranks from last night." Gray explained to me before making his to way to the freezer. Don't tell me he's gonna eat some ice cream this early in the morning. No, let me rephrase that, don't tell me he's going to eat MY ice cream this early in the morning.
"Gray, it is rude to just eat someone's frozen food supplies in early morning without permission, other than that it's completely unhealthy." I don't know if I ever been this grateful to have such a strict yet caring friend like Erza.
"Besides, we haven't eaten breakfast yet so I guess you could search something out of the refrigerator maybe some strawberry cake."
Okay maybe I'm too fast on judging people.
"Ehehe, I'm sorry to disappoint you both but I think I'll cook us up some mac 'n' cheese. Is it okay with you guys?" I guess I really need to prevent them from raiding my fridge by my own, I'm surprised Natsu didn't join in with them, which is very odd in my opinion.
"I'm okay with that, don't you agree Gray?" Gray shook his head before replying.
"Nah, I'm really in the mood for some ice- "
"I said, don't you agree Gray?" Even with a few feet away from her I can still feel the intimidation aura around her and in her tone of speech which managed to send chills into my spine, I don't know what Gray is feeling right now and how he could cope with that. Maybe he's used to it since he has been friends with Erza far more longer than I am.
"U-uh, I-I guess so?" The squeak he just let out before saying that proves that I was wrong. And Natsu's snickering didn't help with Gray's condition at all.
I guess I need to let ease up the tension in this room... before Gray wet his pants up or... underwear considering that's the only thing he was wearing. Seriously how that guy can lose all his main clothing in a blink of an eye still amazes me up to this point.
"Oh Lucy, can I get some tabasco sauce on mine?" Did I just hear that right? Natsu wanted his mac 'n' cheese with tabasco sauce? Is that even possible?
I turned my head to look at Erza and Gray, they just shrugged and looked away. Alright then I'll just give him whatever he wants, if he gets stomachache It will not be on me.
Might as well get their food done otherwise my food supplies will go down in the drain that is their stomach.
"Ah thanks for the meal Lucy."
"Mmm, nice morning breakfast indeed."
"Could've used some frosty ingredient... but thanks anyway."
It's nice to know that my cooking skills managed to match my friend's taste, except Gray's maybe. Now all I need is to go upstairs and take some-
"Hey Lucy, if you want to take a bath why don't we just take a bath together that way we can save more time and it would be more fun, also this is not a request."
Wait what? Before I managed to complaint I was already dragged upstairs by my red-haired friend. Sighing to myself I just followed her if I don't want to experience what would Natsu called 'Walking Hell on Earth'.
"Y'know Erza, I think this is not really a good idea."
"What makes you say that?" Oh, maybe because the fact that we were cramped in a small sized tub that was only meant to be used for one person, but if you have any other thoughts of it suit yourself.
"Oh... um... never mind." I just shut up because I don't want you to think of me so badly.
"It is getting really cramped in here, how about we get out of here and get some short chair to wash each other backs, also don't worry about anything I already done this so many times even with Natsu and Gray when we were kids." a short laugh followed after she said that, but it was not making me more easy-feeling but rather more nervous.
"I will wash your back first, just think of it as thanks for letting me and the guys stay here last night."
"Oh no worries about that" but I do appreciate lesser mess though. Erza then started to scrub my back with a loofah that I have in my bathroom, I must admit she's really good at this. After sometime we switched places, I hope I can do as good as Erza did to me.
"Hey since you hang out with Natsu and Gray yesterday. How about today you spend the day with me at the mall?" Well we just hung out with Gray at the Ice cream parlor, but I guess details isn't much needed.
"I don't know maybe Natsu kinda has some plans for us to- "
"Now-now, you and Natsu already hung out so much with each other... can't you cancel your plans with just once in a while. Seriously you two looks like a close couple hadn't I know better."
I almost shudder at the comment, me and Natsu dating? That idea just seemed not possible. Plus, didn't he already have Lissana as a childhood sweetheart? Right?
"Lucy, I think that's enough let's get rinsed and prepare for our outings for today." The she said that cheerfully made me somewhat happy and looking forward to what she had prepared for this, which I'm not really sure she prepared anything.
Ah that bath sure is refreshing and even thought I was reluctant to admit it but Erza's idea is good. Wish I could do the same with her other idea.
"ERZA THAT'S NOT FAIR I WAS GOING TO TAKE HER FIRST!" Now what's with that sudden outburst, who I think coming from Natsu. Let's just see what was going down there.
"What's going on guys?"
"Oh, nothing Lucy, just disciplining this young man. So how about we take a stroll to my favorite cake shop first, then off to the mall." I ignored the last part, because my attention was fully on Natsu who had some large bump on his head and being tied down with a rope, which I don't really wanna know how Erza got the rope in the first place. I just shook my head at the thought before tearing my eyes from him.
"Sure, sure just let me get my purse then we're off."
"Wait, you guys want to go out somewhere?" Oops I forgot about Gray is still here.
"Yeah, we are Gray. Is there something the matter?" Erza answered his question, which earned her another question.
"But what about me and this Flame-Maniac?"
"I'm putting you on guard duty on this prisoner, and I give you the right to punish him If needed." Right after she said that, she left Gray with his now appointed prisoner.
"If needed huh..." now I see some evil glint in Gray's eyes, might as well go get my purse 'cause I don't wanna know what he has in store for Natsu.
"So, what's this place again"
"I told you it's my favorite cake shop, the 'Linked Feelings Dessert Shop'."
The shop's name did match its slogan which read, 'We Help You Link Your Feeling with Everyone with Our Cakes' which is a bit too long for my taste.
As we go in the store was filled with so many hearts-shaped decorations with paper 'chains' connecting each of them, the food in here though, they made me feel like Natsu when he saw spicy foods. Man, if only we don't get fat or cavity from eating so many sweets. But there's one dessert that catch my attention. It was a medium-sized star-shaped cakes with so many sprinkles that made it looks like sparkling like the star in the sky with key-shaped frostings on top and on the side of it.
But there's no time for that now, I just need to follow Erza to get her cake and then continue with our plans for today, or more likely just her plans.
"Hi Meredy, I'm asking for the usual." I looked at the clerk Erza was talking to. She was a very radiant looking girl and looked very friendly too.
"Oh Erza, 'kay I will be right back with your order, and who's this?" She looked curiously at me.
Without Erza's permission I introduced myself. "My name is Lucy Heartfillia. Nice to meet you." I said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you too Erza's new friend I'm Meredy Erza's childhood friend and one of her best friends, I'm going to get your order Erza, so wait here you two."
She then went to get Erza's cake, while we wait I continued to look at all the things in the store. A few minutes later, Meredy came back with to us with 2 boxes.
"What's with the extra box Meredy?" I heard Erza suddenly ask, weird so she only ordered one so who's the second one for?
"It's for Lucy-san, it's a new friend gift... after all Erza's friend is my friend too. Plus think of it as a free sample, who knows maybe you'll like it and will buy more cake in our shop." Wow that's so nice of her, I really can't wait to see what cake that I got from her, but maybe I just save this for later.
"It has been nice talking to you Meredy, but we gotta go so see again." I just flashed Meredy a last smile before turning my heels to follow Erza. Now we were out of the shop so we are supposed to go the mall now, right? but it seemed Erza look a little bit puzzled with whatever she sees on her phone. it seemed I have to ask her what was it all about.
"So Erza anything on your mind?" It seemed I broke her trance.
"O-oh it's nothing Lucy, it-it's just that I seem to have forgotten to do my study session with Jellal today."
"Then go meet him, he must've still waiting for you."
Erza's eyes went wide
"You sure?" She seemed to be a little more excited.
"Mmm" I responded with the most radiant smile I could muster.
"Thank you so much Lucy, I will return the favor I promise. Also, we can go to the mall at later times." I cannot focus on what she said because of the lack of air from her very tight hug, I could just continue to smile. After the hug, she called a taxi and went away.
And now I'm here in front of a cake shop without anything planned, *Sigh* I guess I could just walk home, that was until I heard some rustling noise behind me. I turned around to find Gray and Natsu rolled out from a bush with their hands at each other throats, literally.
I guess I need to break apart those two again.
"Now cut it up you two!" I scolded them, they turned their attention to me. They quickly cleaned their clothes and act cool and stuff.
"U-uh... Hey Lucy nice meeting you here, hehehe." Natsu managed to talk first. And might I comment such a lame response from someone like him.
"Yeah right, now what are you two up to?" Now to listen to what these idiots had to say because I ain't taking any bull and lame excuses from them.
"Em... Err... Sorry Lucy I gotta go, bye!"
"Hey you traitor come back here you sissy Ice-princess!"
It seemed all that longtime friendship building trust and the such, gone in mere seconds.
"So, I think you're the one whose gonna do explain huh? Spill... Now!" Why I am being harsh on the guy? Well I think you and I both know the reason.
-One explanation later-
"Bwahaha-hahaha-"
"Hey, cut it out!" I managed to see Natsu's face expression. I bet Gray would pay so many bucks for a pic of this. But, lucky for Natsu, I'm a good-hearted person... up to certain point that is.
"Just-just let me get this straight. You actually stalked me? And you got lost doing it? How can that even happen?"
"I..."
"No don't explain, I need a breather, you explaining things will only worsens things up. Now then how come that you managed to find me here then?"
"I can smell your special perfume so..." Now I remember, he has heightened senses... he said that it's in his family blood. Weird? I know but he said that to him it feels like a hero superpower.
"And how can you know that it was my perfume scent not anybody else's?"
"Cause I can smell your scent mixing with it." That answer literally threw me off. Natsu suddenly rushed to help me get back up. My scent what the heck? What's that supposed to mean? I forcefully pushed him away and tried to compose myself.
I finally composed myself and then started walking to the direction of my apartment. I need to take a rest. Sensing Natsu followed right behind me, I just sighed even more and pretended he wasn't there, I don't need more things to focus in my head by thinking about him.
During the duration of the walk, I heard him whispers my name in a very guilty and sad tone, but as I said before his actions is too much for me for the day, so I just tuned him out.
After sometime I heard him clicked his tongue and then I heard turn his heels and walked away. I peeked to see him kicking pebbles while walking away. I was about to call back to him but remembered I had to rest up so I decided to just call him later. Hoping that would make him realize to at least behave a little.
I don't know how wrong I was...
Alright that's a wrap for this chappy. I guess you guys are all very tired to hear excuses and sorry's that I throw to you guys for the very long update but my life isn't very great right now. I have some mentality problems So please understand. Thank you
