"I got it," Emma says. I breathe a sigh of relief. "Oh crap," she says.
"What!?" I ask scared for my baby whose gender I don't know yet. Yep, being a mermaid didn't allow me to go to the hospital even for that.
"It looks like its twins," Em says.
"Holy sh- ah" I scream as another contraction comes on.
"What is this baby?" I ask. "A female," Cleo says.
"What's her name going to be?" Cleo asks.
"Kylie" I gasp out.
Cleo smiles. I push again until later on I finally get the next and last baby out.
"It's another girl," Em says.
"Katherine," I gasp out. "But, I'll call her Kat," I mutter laying my head back.
Cleo comes back with two clean babies. I kiss their heads.
"We'll get this cleaned up and then we'll get Will," Em says. I nod weakly.
"Please get Zane. He should be able to see his babies," I whisper.
Cleo puts a pillow underneath my head, and I close my eyes still holding my precious babies.
"Lift up real quick Bella," Em says. I push myself up and slide over slowly to the clean towel next to me. I wince in pain.
"What did she name them?" I hear Zane ask. I open my eyes to look at him.
"Kylie and Kat," I whisper, and Zane smiles.
"They're beautiful," I feel my eyes water because Zane won't reject them.
5 years later...
"Kylie come here sweetie," I say. She walks over to me.
"What mama?" She asks me.
She's five and has my honey blonde hair and Zane's browns eyes.
I smile picking her up and swinging her around. We both giggle. "Momma!" Kat calls reaching towards me from Will's arms. Will and I are married now and he takes care of my precious Kat and Kylie like they're his own.
Zane and Rikki got married, and Cleo and Lewis did too.
Emma and Ash got married and she has a little boy named Ryan who resembles Emma more than Ash. Cleo and Lewis have a little girl named Emmy who's almost five.
Rikki and Zane don't have children yet.
I send a message to the girls on my phone.
Who's up for Mako Island?
I wait for a second and then get replies basically saying yes, so I grab my sweet little girls hands.
"Kat, Kylie do you want to go swimming?" I question. They both smile wide enthusiastic grins causing me to grin bigger.
"Yes!" Kylie says.
"Swim!" Kat says.
"You all have fun" Will says. I give him a kiss and then go towards the crystal ocean.
I gently place Kat in first, and she instantly goes under the water. Next, I place Kylie in the water. Finally, I dive in and feel the sensation that I've grown used to, my tail replacing my legs.
My little girls look precious with their golden tails, but I can't help but feel bad that I deprived them of a normal life.
Once I submerge from the moon pool water I see that the whole gang is already here. Instantly, Kat and Emmy start playing together.
Emma hoists Ryan out of the moon pool to let his ironically blue tail dry.
"I want that tail color!" Kylie complains causing me to shake my head laughing.
"So, I have some great news," Rikki begins, "I'm pregnant,"
"It's about time" Emma says hugging Rikki.
"Congratulations!" Cleo says joining into the hug.
"Revenge will be sweet," I whisper in her ear hugging her.
"Are you ever going to let me live leaving you during your pregnancy down?" She asks.
"Nope," I say and we all burst out laughing.
I saw Charlotte again, and her life seemed to be going good now that she wasn't obsessed with mermaids.
She seemed to actually forgive me, but it will never be the same.
We all live the rest of our lives keeping the secret a secret.
We live our lives as normal as being a mermaid can be.
And we lived happily ever after...
"Come on don't end in a cliché!" Rikki complains.
"Too late!" ;)
And... this is the last chapter for sure.
