Allen shifted nervously. Does Daniel know I was a Noah for a while? "I'm fine just feeling a bit sick," he said trying to pull a smile. Mistletoe was still wriggling and he wondered if his baby knew if something was about to happen. Daniel shrugged and continued to distantly look at the Black Order HQ. His crow and Heather's sword where still acting very strangely. "Did you deactivate it?" Jamie asked but it sounded like he didn't care. Heather ran her finger up it like Kanda did with Mugen "Yes I'm not stupid… I think Agreon still wants to be out." Allen wondered who Agreon was but then deduced that must be her dragon's name.
Just then Daniel's crow shrieked as Heather's sword glowed brighter and Agreon was summoned again. "Heather! What in the world," Daniel shouted as his crow flew up and attacked Agreon. The dragon responded with a roar and blew fire missing the crow by inches. "Innocence Activate!" Daniel shouted and his crow glowed black and whirled around Daniel shrouding him in darkness. When Daniel stepped away from the darkness he was wearing a cape with a hood. He stretched his arms and jumped kicking Agreon in the neck. Heather screamed in pain but didn't try to attack back but return Agreon to her sword.
The huge dragon roared and tried to sink its teeth into Daniel but he was to quick leaping away cape outstretched as if he were a bird himself. "Allen run!" Jamie screamed using his ghost like innocence as well to attack Agreon. Allen nodded and made his way into the Black Order before he could he heard Heather shriek no and something shoved him aside. Apart from his own screaming Allen heard someone else cry out in pain. He wrapped his arms around his abdomen which felt like it was on fire. He couldn't feel his daughter wriggling anymore which scared him more than the heat he felt beside him.
"Hi *Shui," A new voice commanded and a torrent of water rushed past Allen cooling whatever had been so hot there. Then Aragon growled and a low hum gradually replaced his growling and stopped. Allen cried he couldn't think of anything g else to do. He was worried about Mistletoe he still couldn't feel her moving and the pain in his abdomen was increasing his grief. "ALLEN!"
O.o.O.o.O
Lavi deactivated his innocence and rushed towards his lover. He knelt down beside him and gently lifted him. Allen was screaming in pain and wouldn't stop crying. He pulled his lover into a hug and rubbed his back. Allen gradually stopped screaming his voice must have hurt but he wouldn't stop crying. "Lavi! Lavi! Lavi! Mistletoe! Lavi!" Allen repeated crying harder. Lavi felt his heart shattering. Had their baby been injured? "Shh…Allen it's okay look at me….She's okay I promise" he whispered sweetly to him. "Lavi. She's not moving!" Allen moaned his voice filled with grief. Lavi refused to show his fear, "Allen don't worry come on I'll take you to the Matron."
Lavi carefully lifted Allen who flinched in pain he had to keep holding his snow haired lover because he felt if he let go of him Allen would collapse. Lavi looked around once. Jamie was talking to a teen with a crow on his shoulder Lavi recognized as Daniel. Heather was crouched by an unconscious Tyki as if trying to wake him up. Lavi glared at the man and couldn't help but to wonder if he was the cause of Allen's pain. Before they could enter Lavi heard Daniel's voice, "You should stop that or else you'll get in trouble." Lavi ignored him and guided Allen into the Black Order.
He was surprised to find out no one was rushing out to check on all the commotion. Allen was still whimpering in pain and silent tears rolled down his cheeks. Lavi cursed himself. If he hadn't been with Bookman this would have never happened! The worried feeling he usually got when working alone increased and he had to check on Allen only to find his lover screaming in pain surrounded by a fire. I should quit I get so anxious when I'm away from Allen and what about the next time? Allen could have been killed…or Mistletoe I wonder what's wrong with her! Please don't let anything happen to our daughter! Lavi willed to any high power that might be listening.
"Lavi, I was wondering where you had gone to!" Bookman growled behind him. "Not now," Lavi muttered through clenched teeth, "I need to take Allen to the infirmary he is hurt badly." "I'm sure Allen can take himself. He has managed just fine with worse injuries that this!" Bookman said his eyes narrowing. "I know but this is serious! I don't think Allen can stand let alone walk all the way to the infirmary!" Lavi growled impatiently not stopping. Bookman stood in front of them his eyes were dangerous slits. "Lavi let him go Allen can manage," he growled.
Allen nodded slowly Lavi tried to meet his lovers gaze but his eyes had a glassy look on them, "I can manage," he croaked his voice sounding like it hurt. Lavi regrettably let go of Allen for two reasons. One Allen had barely managed to walk a few steps when Bookman tripped him. Two Lavi couldn't help his lover because Bookman stood in between them glaring at Lavi. "Break these petty bonds you have!" He growled menacingly. Lavi wasn't paying attention as he painfully saw Allen struggling to get up his tears returning and then screaming "Mistletoe" really loud.
Bookman froze and Lavi took this opportunity to rush to Allen's side pulling him into a hug and rubbing his abdomen gently. "Oh my word what on Earth is going- Allen!" The Matron appeared she looked flustered so Lavi guessed she had been running. She knelt down next to him. "Shh don't worry Allen it's okay," she murmured her voice betraying such a sweetness that Lavi had never heard her use. "M-m-m-y ba-b-b-bbe-y" Allen whimpered Lavi kissed his cheek softly and stroked his hair. The red head knew if Bookman saw him doing these things now it wouldn't matter anymore.
"Shh its okay Allen here take this drink slowly and you'll feel better," the Matron whispered handing Allen a small flask with purple liquid. The snow haired boy had calmed down enough and began drinking. His breathing became slower and Lavi panicked and wondered if something had gone wrong. Once he was finished Allen looked up at Lavi silver eyes filled with grief, "Lavi...I'm so sorry you can stop let go of me and Bookman will think this is some sort of mistake…" "W-what," he stammered and looked back Bookman's eyes were filled with rage and he doubted the old man had heard Allen. "Go… Go with him if Mistletoe is gone you don't have to be with me anymore… You can live out your dream without a heart like you're supposed to…"Allen murmured his voice slurring with tiredness.
Lavi felt his heart shatter. Was Allen saying he could leave him…just like that? Even though his lover looked exhausted he still managed to say something else, "Go…I won't mind… I mean I let our daughter die…You must hate me for that…I understand if you left with him and got a 50th alias and forget everything…" Everything, Lavi thought. Forget everything that has happened to him and Allen? The friends he has made and the triumphs he has been through. Once again I am questioning myself when the answers are right in front of me….How could I have been so stupid?
